When things get really dreary and miserable, the thing to do is not to let them get worse until you hit the bottom and knock the whole reality down and out. The thing to do is to change perspective and put light into the situation, and ultimately look for a genuine solution. Sure, we can all pity ourselves and think something and say something like “See I told you so, life is horrible and nothing works, so why bother?” The devil is within those energies and that thought. God is within doing a conscious reversal and getting real, totally real about things and doing something about them yourself, with your intuition or voice from God. I mean, we all have that “dark night of the spirit” where nothing seems to work, where it can go from worse to worse to worse, without even seeming to get better for a seemingly long time.
So, let me tell you this: The real heroes of life and existence survive these troubles understanding that there is a good end to all of it when the solution is worked on and found ultimately like there is a genuine answer to every question hidden ultimately within the question itself, especially the seemingly unsolvable problems. I will also say this, if you are still reading: Within every dark, unsolvable void there is a hidden light within it that illuminates everything however small and “not able to be perceived it may seem”. As you cannot be a student forever, and mastery is possible to everyone who perseveres, so does that “endless void” ultimately have an end if we work to perceive it.
So, let me tell you this: The real villains of life give up, sell out, and “let someone else be good and solve the problems”. In fact that is how genuine second-hand thinking works, the originators are the ones who take responsibility and work to perceive the light in the darkness and ultimately find the good solution inside of the bad problem. Nobody is exempt from reality, hero, villain, spectator or whatever not even great beings like God and the devil. Everybody lives by the law and the real lawbreakers always lose for this reason. While those who genuinely follow the genuine universal laws of existence work out the solutions, are always the real winners.
So, I quote and paraphrase Vince Lombardi on that one: “Gentlemen, this is a football.” and “Folks, this is existence.” Being the genuine reality fundamentalist that I am about life and existence, I end with this quote from the author of “The Time Machine”, “War of the Worlds” and “The Island of Doctor Moreau”:
“Adapt or perish, now as ever, is nature’s inexorable imperative.”-H.G. Wells (Herbert George Wells, 1866-1946)
