Pain or Illness is a continuation of Negative Thoughts and Emotions.
We’ll show you how this works. First, you have a negative thought, which brings about a negative emotion. This happens a million times a day to most people. Second, this creates stress and resistance to the abundance of the cosmos. Third, if it is not corrected, this creates physical distress, pain and illness or disability. In this case, you have used the Law of Attraction to bring about pain. You can also use it to overcome pain.
What do we do if we have a pain? Immediately stop focusing on it and worrying about the cause of the pain. This is the worst thing you can do. Look at it, wherever it is, and accept that you are suffering from resistance. Say to the toe, or the joint, or your neck, whatever is telling you of the stress, “Thank you for informing me of this stress. I hear you well. I will soon let it go.”
And then, set about finding a solution to the stress you have somatized in your body. Do not attack the apparent cause of the pain, but find instead a way to add more joy and well-being back into your life. Turn on the light in that dark part of your soul. Find a way to open the spigot to the Creator/Universe.
Opening the Spigot or Aligning with the Stream of Well-Being
Resistance is the only reason the spigot was closed, or seemed to be closed. Resistance is caused by focusing on lack rather than abundance. Allowing is caused by focusing on what is wanted.
Our desires are always in alignment with our Higher Power which is always in communication with Source/Divinity/Creator. When we allow our desires to fill us with joy, then we are in “allowing” and opening the spigot. But if we use our desires to fill ourselves with a sense of lack or poverty or ill health, then we are in resistance (closing the spigot) and this will cause negative emotions, stress and then physical distress as we have mentioned. So, let’s use our desires to open the spigot instead.
As Abraham teaches us through the Hicks, “make a commitment to yourself to feel good.” This simple act will inspire more productive thoughts and alert you every time you, as a force of habit, are thinking resentful or powerless thoughts. When this happens, switch to more harmonious and joyful pictures or feelings. Picture yourself with a warm buttered piece of homemade bread, or sitting in front of a beautiful fireplace, or standing on a mountain top, on a glorious sunny day on your new skis, deciding which perfect path to take down the mountain. You will see more clearly the way to step into your more healthful and abundant future.
Keep your abundance pictures and feelings close at hand to use any time you get that warning nudge that you have accepted a negative thought or feeling. You don’t want to erase the negative thoughts anymore than you can erase darkness, but you simply want to turn on the light in that corner of your heart or mind.
This will open the spigot of allowing abundance. This will activate the Law of Attraction and eliminate pain.
