A question for you: pain or pleasure, what do you choose?
This may seem like a very simple question to you, but if you delve into your mind, and into your life, you will be able to sort out all the situations where you knowingly or unknowingly chose pain over pleasure.
Many people have this quality of ‘matrydom’ or ‘sacrifice’ in them and it is this quality that makes them get into painful situations, and also remain in those situations.
Do you identify with this quality? Is there something in you that says that “I must suffer because it is my lot or karma to do so?”
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not advocating running away, or not doing your duties, or not being compassionate to others, and to this world. This world does not need cowards, and people who are only pleasure seeking and do not contribute to its welfare.
But this world also does not need people who inadvertently keep themselves in pain and in painful situations all the time.
If you continue to remain in pain, all that happens is that you attract more pain and more painful situations, and this opens up your family and the world to more pain. Pain becomes your main point of attraction!
There is another way to handle difficult situations.
Let’s say that a difficult situation makes it way to you, what do you do?
You start by doing your duty towards the situation and the people involved.
When you find yourself getting stressed, take a break and go off for a massage, shopping, listen to music, or anything that makes you happy. Completely disconnect with the situation even if for a few hours.
Now during this time when you are having fun, what happens? A tremendous amount of healing takes place in you, and in the situation, even as you are having a good time.
Why is that? It’s because wellness energy has set in, and this wellness energy affects not only you, but everyone in that situation.
Seeking pleasure in the midst of pain is not sinful, and even though many old timers may advocate suffering in pain as a way of life, still I do not advocate it, and nor do people who really care about you.
Nobody needs you to suffer. And anyone who asks that of you, is not truly caring for you.
So try this….in the midst of a difficult situation, do something joyful (but safe for you) and see what magic happens!
That is the path of Joyful Manifestation. As you move more into the vibration of JOY, JOY finds you.
Lots of love
