Rune Gold – I Made $10,000 Rune Gold Free in 15 Minutes! You Wanna Know How?

Let’s face it, money is power, and the same goes for gaming. When you have money inside the game, you have the power to buy yourself the best equipment there is and make it easier for your character or avatar to gain the levels you want it to gain. While gaining levels is one of the main reasons for you to play Runescape and fighting monsters is one of the main ways for you to gain experience to level up, Rune gold farming and using this gold to help make your avatar stronger is another one of the goals you may have to do as well. Farming Rune gold is easy if you have the ways and the means to do so, and while a lot of older players already know how to do this, the newer ones struggle and find it difficult to become the powerful avatar they want to be. Here are a few tricks and tips you might or might not want to use to get your hands on Rune gold:

Farming and Questing

One of the surefire ways for you to earn Rune gold is to do it the usual way and that is to farm it and to do quests to get the gold you need.

Farming. How you farm in the game is essentially to go out and kill monster after monster after monster and gathering up the gold that they drop. This is a similar activity that happens in almost all MMORPGs and is one of the easiest and surest ways to get gold inside the game. Of course, to make things easier for you and your character, you should try and get your character equipped properly and with the best possible equipment you can slowly put together for it. The sooner you get your character properly equipped, the more monsters you can slay in a shorter period of time and the more gold you can make. The upside to farming is you not only gain Rune gold, you gain levels as you farm.

Questing. This next step is basically just repeating certain tasks that NPCs, or non-player characters, ask you to accomplish. This may include slaying a certain number of monsters and reporting to him after the task is done for a reward or delivering items to other NPCs and returning to him once it is done for the Rune gold reward. There are also tasks that may involve finding people, lifting stuff, solving puzzles, and other similar activities. Try to find easy-to-do, repetitive quests and make a small fortune in Rune gold by just doing it over and over again.

Doing Business

Some players who are smart enough to figure out that a little effort can help make them some much-needed Rune gold inside the game often come up with business ideas to use inside the game. Aside from farming, they engage in the buying and selling of materials that some players are too lazy or too preoccupied to get themselves at cheaper prices outside of the main world. You can buy and sell items a lower prices as compared to what others sell in the main area of the game and make a huge amount of Rune gold just by going out of your way to get these for cheaper prices elsewhere.

FREE GOLD, The SECRET

Everybody likes free stuff, and free gold is no exception and one of the secrets to getting free gold in Runescape is to go to a website called Who Wants Gold. It is a unique site that caters to Rune newbies and gives you 10,000 Rune Gold in exchange for filling out free, no obligation offers. It is quick, simple and should take less then 30 minutes to complete. A great deal considering it will shave weeks off your play time…check them out at the link below.

Dizzywood Virtual World Review – A Virtual World For Your Kids to Hang Out At

With the increasing popularity (and profitability) of virtual worlds and massively multiplayer games on the internet, it is no surprise seeing hundreds of companies jump into this lucrative field. While some companies focus on charging an upfront monthly fee for a superior product (think World of Warcraft), others create a free product that is somewhat lacking in quality (think Runescape). In between this, some virtual worlds manage to find the perfect balance of paid and free versions, offering plenty of original, quality game play. Dizzywood falls somewhat in this category – a new, original virtual world with plenty to offer to everyone.

Dizzywood is an online virtual world targeted at kids aged 8 to 12. It is basically an exploration plus interaction game. Members are encouraged to look around their environment and interact with other members in order to earn points and rewards.

You start off by creating your own avatar. You have access to a large selection of templates to pick from, and can create an avatar that mirrors you in real life, or a fantastical version of yourself. You can then proceed to dress him/her up in various clothes, and plunge right into the game.

As mentioned before, Dizzywood focuses on exploration and interaction. Once you have created your avatar, you are plopped down in a little virtual world where you can dig around for architectural artefacts. You can either do this yourself, or take the help of fellow Dizzywood members in this endeavor. The exploration element is very nicely handled, and evokes some of the blockbuster Lucas Arts games of the 1990s.

The purpose of exploration is to earn rewards in the shape of badges, superpowers, and various items. Items can further enhance your abilities, and in this respect, Dizzywood behaves like a typical role-playing game (RPG). The items can be traded among players.

Dizzywood moves through a linear story arc. A lot of importance is placed on completing missions or goals in order to proceed to the next level. All missions are designed to teach kids about certain things – from gardening to organization skills – and work as pretty handy educational tools.

Dizzywood places a lot of emphasis on interaction with other members. You can chat with other kids in a safe, controlled environment. Dizzywood team members take care to remove any abusive or inappropriate language from the chat stream. The primary idea behind this chat tool is to help kids build social skills, although with its limited functionality, Dizzywood does leave something to be desired.

Dizzywood brings a role-play element to the game with various fun activities such as the Explorer’s camp where members can pretend to be away at a camp, roasting marshmallows and sharing scary stories, the Dizzy TV Studios, where members can pretend to be TV hosts, etc Activities like this encourage open expression and the development of various skills in children, and can be very useful in helping kids get over shyness or nervousness that is usually associated with social interactions.

A key part of Dizzywood is its learning engine. Through a variety of mini-games and lessons, Dizzywood aims to teach players about language, science, art, and issues such as global warming, etc. The mini-games are fun to play, and consist of word games, puzzle games, trivia and brainteasers.

Dizzywood is free to play, but to access certain features, you have to buy a premium subscription.

In terms of graphics, Dizzywood pales in comparison to some of its competitors such as Panfu or Pixie Hollow. The 2D graphics can appear dull and boring after a little while, and the animation is a bit jerky in patches. The avatars themselves are lacking a bit of creativity. This is one area where Dizzywood could have put in a little bit more effort.

Performance wise, Dizzywood is a dream. The servers have very little downtime and run very smoothly. Since the graphics are largely 2D, they require very little computer horsepower to run, which means that even your 5 year old PC could run it.

Final Words

Dizzywood is an interesting virtual world with a strong focus on social activities, exploration and learning. With its strong parental controls and interactive game play, it can be a fun filled experience for all kids.

TY Girlz – Virtual Worlds for Girls

The most recognizable product that Ty Inc. has produced is the Beanie Baby. Ty produces a long line of unique plush toys. In 2007, Ty Girlz first appeared as a plush toy, quickly followed by the Ty Girlz website. Both the toy and the website are aimed directly at girls from age 8 to 16. Non-members can check out the website for free; however, this limits most of the activity they can have in the virtual world. Unlike most other virtual worlds, Ty Girlz does not offer monthly or annual memberships. Instead, members must purchase a Ty Girlz doll which has a secret code attached to the tag. The code can then be entered on the website during registration, unlocking full membership benefits. Currently, the price for a Ty Girlz doll is $14.99, though this price can change and may vary.

Features

Ty Girlz is a very pink website, specifically tailored to girls. The website is actually modeled after the dolls and operates for two reasons: to gather the owners into an online virtual world and to further market the dolls. The dolls actually look like dolls – with serene and happy expressions On Ty Girlz, the avatars do not look like dolls – they look like they were modeled after teenagers with little respect for themselves. Once girls purchase a doll, they input the code from the doll into the registration process and fully activate their membership. Members choose an avatar to be their online personality. This avatar can be customized with accessories and a unique look. The avatar gets their own room, the ability to decorate it, a choice of major cities to live in and $500 in virtual Ty Dollars.

Though most of the website exists for girls to talk about the Ty brand and interact with other girls, there are games to play. These games earn players Ty Dollars, the website’s virtual currency. The more games people play, the more Ty Dollars they can earn. This currency allows players to buy room furnishings, personal accessories, clothing, makeup, games and other commercial items. Chat is the most popular feature on the virtual world. Chat Around the World restricts members from typing their own words. They must use pre-selected words and phrases. In the Freestyle chat version, members can type their own phrases, but they are limited to words found only in the Ty Girlz dictionary.

What’s Good

The website will appeal only to girls in a wide age bracket who are interested in fashion and social chatting. The graphics are quite good – clean, clear and crisp images. It flows quite well. It’s a bright website with vibrant colors. There is no violence, drinking, drugs or smoking on the website or in the games. Chat filters eliminate foul language. Other than testing simple memory skills, there is no real educational value to Ty Girlz.

What’s Bad

The comparison to Barbie is unmistakable. Isn’t there more to a girl’s life than makeup, fashion, beauty and shopping? Certainly, Ty Inc. doesn’t think that this is all that will come of the girls who buy and parade their Ty Girlz – or do they? There are no positive role models or messages contained in the virtual world for girls that will empower girls to become nothing more than vacuous shopaholics. Girls can have some fun on this website, but it must not be taken seriously.

Online Safety

Ty Girlz has no control over who joins their website; however, they do have control over what members say. In this regard, Ty Girlz is to be commended for at least trying to put strict safety measures in places to protect girls. The safest mode of chat only allows users to choose pre-selected words and phrases. Even in open chat, only words chosen from their restricted dictionary are allowed and moderators patrol this area. Members are encouraged to report inappropriate behavior and parents are required to give their consent prior to a child using open chat.

What Are the False Gods, Babaji?

Sri Babaji is the Immortal Avatar of this planet. He was introduced to the West through the efforts of Swami Yogananda in Autobiography of a Yogi. In recent times he was re-introduced by Dr. Donald Schnell in The Initiation.

This particular exchange took place in 2001 during a 21 day spiritual fast by Donald Schnell. During this time Schnell consumed only a few glasses of pure water each day. The remainder of the day was spent in hatha yoga, meditation practice and rest.

Belief in the power of negativity and negative events, keeping company with misery, belief in anything apart from your own divinity, belief in a God apart from yourself.

As the Rabbi Jesus said, “I have told you that I AM. If therefore, ye seek me, let these go their way.

And Moses stated, “I AM the Lord thy God, who led thee out of the land of darkness.”

Buddha, another son of God, said, “Be a lamp unto yourself.” Moses, Buddha and Jesus were all saying the same thing. You must continue on this path of God Realization once you begin. Do not turn back, undo, uproot, or abandon the goal. Steadiness of purpose will bring you to the highest joy.

All will come as you persist in your spiritual efforts. Take the first step. All blessings come from within, but you must make the effort to turn within. I AM is all that exists. Be with it all the time you can spare until it becomes your second nature.

There is no simpler or easier way. So please, meditate, and my blessings are upon you.

Second Life Fashion Design Tips – Where To Get Started

Designing fashion for Second Life can be a daunting prospects. Lots of residents spend lots of lindens on Second Life clothes, and a sure way to make money is to do the same. The great thing about designing SL fashion is that you can sell the same item multiple times. In fact, you can sell it as many times as you want.

The only tough part is getting started. If you are not a programmer, designer or familiar with photo-editing, you aren’t going to feel comfortable, and you won’t know where to get started. But don’t worry, we’ve come up with three easy steps you can take to start you on your way to becoming a true fashionista.

STEP 1: MASTER THE IN-GAME FASHION DESIGNER: The first step in becoming a fashion designer in SL is to get used to the in-game fashion designer. Open the appearance tool (either through the top-menu or by right-clicking on your avatar) and you can edit a multitude of different factors of your avatar’s appearance. To change clothing, or design new ones, you’ll need to get familiar with the texture and color menu’s. Once you get comfortable with the in-game designer, you can move on to the next step.

STEP 2: GET PHOTO-EDITING: To move past the simple designs you can make through the appearance editor, you’ll need to get some photo-editing software. Though many of these programs can run $300 or more, we’ve found an alternative that is just as good. If you want to start designing fashion seriously, you’ll need The GIMP. (http://www.gimp.org/). This freeware is just as good as the commercial software out there, and there is a very active and helpful community of Gimp users that can help you. Download Gimp and learn how to use some of the features. After you do this, you are ready to move on

STEP 3: GET TEMPLATES: To use Gimp (or other photo-editing software) to design clothes for SL, you’ll need some templates. A template is simply a 3-D rendering that can be laid over an avatar. With a template, you can design skins, tattoo’s and clothes. To start off with, you should download Robin Wood’s t-shirt template. (http://www.robinwood.com/Catalog/Technical/SL-Tuts/SLTutSet.html) This will allow you to create your very first template design: a t-shirt. The template itself is very well done, and by using layers and masks, Robin Wood has created one of the best SL Fashion aides around. Use it.

Of course, there is a lot more to fashion design than what we’ve told you about. (We’ve created an excellent fashion design guide which you can find on our website. Just click on the link below.) You can spend a lot of time learning how to create fashions, but in the end, what you want is up to you. Designing clothes for SL residents is not difficult, but it does take knowledge and practice. If you can get as far as step three, you will be ahead of 90% of everyone else in the game.

GO FORTH AND CONQUER!

Attributes in Entropia Universe

Entropia avatars gain skills which influence their abilities and tasks within the game. The most basic and perhaps the most important of these skills are the attributes. Attributes affect and are affected by everything within the game. Some of them are easy to raise while others seem to be extremely difficult.

Agility is raised by and influences various combat activities as well as defence, misc tailoring, misc colouring and beauty.

Intelligence is raised by and influences crafting, mining, scanning and use of mindforce as well as a couple combat activities such as whip and ranged.

Psyche is raised and influenced by mindforce use (which includes sweating).

Stamina influences run speed and as far as I know can only be raised by quests. However, the overall general level of an avatar may also have an affect as I have met a few ‘old’ avatars with higher stamina.

Strength is influenced and raised by melee combat. Besides combat, strength is also beneficial to the carrying capacity of the avatar. The avatar will always be able to walk, however, if overburdened, they will not be able to run.

I’m sure there are other areas which are influenced by the attribute skills but these are the most obvious ones and are also the activities which a player may partake in to raise those same attributes. A major activity that can possibly increase several attributes is swunting (sweating and hunting the same animal).

By sweating the animal first and taking the hits the avatar potentially gains psyche and agility. When the sweating portion is complete the avatar can then initiate combat with a weapon. If that weapon is melee than the avatar potentially gains strength and agility as well as other related skills. Or, if the weapon is ranged then the potential attribute gains are in the intelligence and agility categories. These are not set in cement of course, there are likely more crossover of skills. However, the activity of swunting is a great way for an avatar to gain attribute skills and still have fun.

Also, you should remember that your attributes are not able to increase or decrease artificially. And the vast majority of standard tasks in Entropia increase Agility. As a result, the player community has come to use Agility as a de-facto measure of someone’s capability in game, as well as time in game. Thus adding another use for the attributes, and more information you can gain just knowing your opponent’s attributes.

Sri Krishna – Akhand Brahmachari – The Eighth Avatar of Vishnu

The term ‘akhand brahma-chari’ in Sanskrit means akhand, unbroken and brahma-chari is translated as a celibate, meaning the one whose vow of celibacy has remained unbroken. A monk of the Hindu order, especially a youthful one is fondly called a brahma-chari, who supposed to remain celibate throughout his life.

Among Ram and Krishna, the two avatars of Vishnu, the latter is the more colourful one. Rama, in contrast, is the upholder of the highest moral values and defender of the righteous order, he is also somewhat aloof. Krishna, on the other hand, is the playful deity, who comes and touches people’s lives in myriad ways. These two incarnations of Vishnu are worshipped by the most, including the Vaishnavites themselves. Among the both, Rama had only wife, Sita, who herself was the incarnation of Lakshmi, the celestial consort of Vishnu, while in the Hindu scriptures, Krishna, the eighth avatar, is reported have 16108 wives.

Krishna, among others, was reverentially worshipped by many celibate and celebrated sages of his time as their idol, and ideal: The lord of all the akhand brahma-charis of his time-the ones who had taken a vow of unbroken celibacy. There were many who mocked at them, and rightfully so; for, how can a husband of 16108 wives would be a person of unbroken celibacy? For a man of ordinary vision it was indeed the case, but the seers saw what the other ordinary mortals did not, or could not see.

In the great Sanskrit epic of ancient India, Mahabharata, at the end of the Great War, fought between the armies of Kauravas and Pandavas, Ashwathama slays the foetus of Parikshit in the womb of Uttara, by using the deadliest of weapon called Brahmastra-literally meaning the weapon given by Brahma, the first in the Hindus’ holy trinity.

It is said that only an akhand brahma-chari could revive the foetus. As a matter of challenge, all sages and seers of that time were asked to touch Uttara’s womb with stalks of kusha (Elephant–Desmostachya bipinnata) grass (According to the Vishnu Purana, Kusha grass is considered to be Vishnu), but none of them dared to take up the challenge.

Seeing the crucial time slipping by, Lord Krishna, himself picked up the kusha grass stalks, and gently touched Uttara’s womb. Lo and behold, the foetus came back to life again!

Krishnaand akhand brahma-chari? A husband of 16108 wives! Yes, for akhand brahma-chari actually translates to: akhand (undivided), brahma (consciousness), chari (functions), i.e. the one who functions in undivided consciousness, the one who is without duality.

Echoes of when Jesus said -I and my father are one (John 10:30)?

Avatar – Pandora’s Box of Surprises – Films Like This Are the Reason I Go to the Movies!

In the future, humans have traveled to the far reaches of the universe. On a planet called Pandora, a very important new element was discovered, one that is very valuable. But, wouldn’t you know, the natives on the planet live in the forest, where most of the element is located, underground. It is the human intention to “displace” the natives out of their woods and get to the mineral. For years, the Americans have occupied an outpost on the planet and have tried peaceful methods to reason with the aliens. The top scientist, Grace (Sigourney Weaver) learned their language and opened a “school” to teach the native children English and the ways of the human. But, the Pandoran population truly wants none of it, for they rightly feel that their world will be destroyed.

Although they have only bows and arrows, with a killing poison attached, they are very fierce. As a last resort, the Marines are trying a program of elaborate “robots”, where an earthling goes into a sort of capsule and sleeps while his “soul” inhabits a native body. It is their hope that learning the ways of the natives will make them easier to “conquer” and move. Now, a wheelchair-bound Marine named Jake Scully (Sam Worthington) gets a new, Pandoran body and goes with Grace and a few others on a mission. But, due to some fierce dinosaur-like creatures, Jake becomes separated from the others and is left in the forest at night. Grace believes he will surely die. He would have, too, for a powerful female warrior, Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) was set to shoot him. But, some seeds from their “tree of life” cover Jake and Neytiri sees it as an omen. She takes Jake back to her village where he is eventually accepted as a tribesman. He learns to ride the native “horses” and “dragons”. He and Neytiri also fall in love. But, during the night, Jake “reports” back to the Marines when his native body is asleep. The marine commander believes he is gathering information to defeat the primitive folk. As one might guess, Jake soon realizes his new people are very worthy and should not be destroyed or moved, for their life is “connected” deeply to the forest, their home. What will Jake do to save Neytiri and his new brothers and sisters? This is an amazing film, a stunningly visual panorama that has to be seen to be believed. The planet of Pandora is a forest like no other, with plants that “glow” and creatures that resemble dinosaurs, wolves, and dragons. The natives, too, resemble the American Indian and other earthly tribes, such as the residents of the Amazon rain forests. Most importantly, they are “attached” to their planet as the Native Americans were to the earth. When they kill an animal for food, they utter prayers to the animal for giving his life so that they might be sustained. They consider the destruction of any plant a blow to their own bodies.

Thus, in many respects, the movie is a gigantic homage to the American Indian and their way of life. Wes Studi, who was the ultra frightening Native American in The Last of the Mohicans, even plays the Pandoran leader. But, enough of this. The actors, including Worthington, Weaver, Saldana, Ribisi, Stephen Lang and all of the rest do a fine job. The dialogue and story are, perhaps, not totally original but quite, quite adequate. However, even all these take a back seat to the incredibly imaginative scope of the film’s setting, a new world far away. It is the grand scale of the forested planet that will take a viewer’s breath away. In short, dear film fan, see it.

Absolutely, if you can go to only ONE film this year or next, make it AVATAR. It is truly a jaw-dropping work that will overwhelm most anyone with its visionary beauty…

While its initial previews made it look like “FernGully” meets “Dances with Wolves” with extra-large Smurfs in action, you can rest assured that James Cameron’s epic return to the game, “Avatar,” is more than meets the eye. With twelve years gone by since the director’s previous record smashing film, it’s safe to say that his absence has been felt. There are very few directors who throw themselves into their work like Cameron does, and more often than not, his films are not only hits, but cinematic landmarks. Like his special effects break-through in “Terminator 2 – Judgment Day” and the massive scope and success of “Titanic,” “Avatar” is yet another benchmark film.

All the work Cameron put into “Avatar” (which has been on the back-burner since the mid-90’s) has no doubt paid off, and if its box office receipts are any indication, this is a movie that is not soon to be forgotten, and is one for the ages that will be appreciated by generation after generation. Yeah, it’s that good. If this generation has a “Star Wars,” then this, my friends, is it. Its visual effects are absolutely stunning and combined with the unique 3D presentation creates a world that you can truly disappear into. At times, you will forget you are watching a movie. You’ll feel like you’re in the jungle and you’ll feel like you’re a part of the battle. It’s the little the things and the attention to detail that make the film so sweet. James Cameron is a perfectionist, and not for one moment does he let the 3D element of this film go to waste. It’s less of a gimmick here and more of a device to transport you into the near-perfect world he has created.

While the plot itself isn’t ground-breaking material – the man vs. nature thing has been done to death – it is presented in a way that manages to entertain and stimulate the senses while not beating you over the head with its message. It helps, too, that the pacing is smooth and the plot never sags. At about two hours and forty-five minutes long, you never feel the urge to look at the time or think of anything else (especially if you are seeing it in its best element – an IMAX theater). As far as the action sequences go, fans who have been craving a dose of the good stuff since “Terminator 2” hit theaters back in 1991 will feel more than satisfied, even if the bulk of it is saved for the final act.

If there are any flaws to be found, it is in the character department. While some are well-fleshed out and as three-dimensional as the film itself (Worthington, who also starred in the Cameron-less “Terminator Salvation,” gives a strong and sympathetic performance) there are a few that seem to fall by the wayside. Take the characters played by Joel David Moore (“Hatchet”) and Michelle Rodriguez (“The Fast and the Furious”). Both characters fade in and out of the plot, and there are moments where you aren’t sure where they stand. I suspect this is a case of the film being edited down to fit a fair time slot (although it could have been longer and not worn out its welcome) and there are some character moments that will be restored in a future “Director’s Cut” of the film.

All in all, “Avatar” is a simply awesome cinematic experience. There have been few films to succeed with such broad goals, and yet, Cameron has managed to come back after many had either written him off or assumed he was done, and changed the game completely. Yes, it’s hard to swallow all the hype that has accompanied this project, but if ever there was a film so deserving, it is this. If movies are meant to take you away to a different world to escape reality for a few hours, then Avatar more than does its job.

Identification Tools – The New Avatar Of Wristbands

Wristbands have become the latest tool for identification in various events, amusement parks, school trips, clubs, concerts, bars and even hospitals. With their availability in ample designs and colors, the popularity of ID wristbands is increasing and many people are opting to use these for identification at different levels.

From being an accessory for the fashion fads to being the commonly used tool for identification, wristbands have come a long way since their advent decades back. For an event planner, these have become the best possible way to identify people. From keeping the kids in their designated group in field trips to identifying people’s age for admissions in bars and clubs, wristbands are used in various events. In addition to that, medical facilities are also using these to identify their patients these days. Let’s take a look at the various kinds of wristbands and their uses in diverse sectors.

Holographic Wristbands For School Trips

School trips are basically educational tours but kids look forward to the fun rather than education. This, at times, becomes a headache for the supervisors as keeping an eye on each kid is nearly impossible. When subdivided in various groups, some kids leave theirs to join another group. That’s where wristbands come in handy. You can use them to keep track of all the kids without having to go through any hassles. Since kids love anything that’s shiny, you can get them holographic wristbands. These aren’t just colorful and shimmering but available in various metallic designs and patterns. You can order a different color for each group and have them customized with your school name, serial numbers or any other text.

Amusement Parks – Kids ID Wristbands

Loaded with the fun and thrilling rides, amusement parks are always packed with people. Most of them have height and weight restrictions whereas some specific rides have age restraints. Bearing those constraints in mind, most officials in amusement parks give away wristbands to those who qualify for certain rides. Several companies offer ID wristbands that are specifically designed for kids. These wristbands are made of soft materials that are comfy for kids to wear. Available in vivid colors, these wristbands can be tailor as per the theme of your park. You can have the images of the rides or any text inscribed on these bands.

Age Identification – Tyvek Bands

Many night clubs, bars, special events and parties distribute wristbands to identify people’s age as these places don’t allow anyone under age 18 inside. Moreover, people who aren’t 21 yet don’t get to purchase any liquor at such events. Each individual is allowed entrance only after s/he produces an age ID. The ones who are of legal drinking age are then provided with wristbands to purchase the drinks. The best kinds of wristbands for age identification are Tyvek wristbands as these can’t be tampered with easily. Made of sturdy materials, these fit the wrists of the wearers and can only be removed if torn.

Patient ID Wristbands For Medical Facilities
