Rogue is a dream class for a speed leveler due to its extremely high damage output and its versatile survival abilities. Talents

It is a widely accepted rule, that you should choose talents, which increase your overall damage, if you are serious about leveling rogue. Unfortunately, in case of rogues, all the three talent trees were designed to increase your damage output, so it is really hard to choose the right one. In my opinion, the best talent build for leveling rogue is the Combat tree, since this is the one, which provides the highest consistent damage output for your rogue. Despite, we choose the Combat tree, your very first talent should be the Malice, which gives a huge increase to your critical strike chance. After it, you can start choosing talent from the Combat tree, like Dual Wield Specialization, Precision, Deflection and Close Quarter Combat. These talents will turn your rogue into an unstoppable killing machine! The next talent should be the Blade Flurry, which will allow you to destroy multiple mobs simultaneously! After it, get the Vitality and Adrenaline Rush, which will give you a huge boost to your energy regeneration, which is a critical factor in the leveling process. Surprise Attack is another very good talent, because it provides you the ability to never miss your finishing moves, so you can easily kill even the toughest mobs! The last talent in Combat tree, the Murder Spree is a fantastic talent, since it will allow you to easily kill even large group of mobs with ease! 

Gear

Your most important goal is to increase your damage, thus increase your XP gain. That is why, the most important statistics for you is the agility. Agility will increase both your attack power and critical strike rating. I recommend you to get as much agility as possible. Another very important statistics are the attack power and critical strike rating, but agility is usually better, as it increases both statistics. Choosing the right weapon can be really difficult, as many people don’t know, which one is the good weapon for a rogue. The best is to choose a slow weapon for the main hand, so your special attacks will deal really high amount of damage, and for the off-hand get a very fast one.
