Being told about a current bazaar within hours of displaying can drive you crazy. But heck, it’s an opportunity! So why not grab your stuff and head out to build your booth? Don’t worry, even in a few hours, you can set up your jewelry display and attract as many people as possible – especially if you have 5 display stands that you can assemble within a few minutes.
If you’re worried that you cannot set up a display within a few hours, take these tips and get your display up and running. Despite the short time frame, you’ll still come out as one of the most creative sellers possible.
Books
If there’s one thing you can always rely on for your display, its books. Books are the easiest display equipment that can up the look of any showcase booth. By using a couple of books to create the layers that you need, you can create a dramatic or interesting look to your display. Instead of the boring and flat platform, you get different heights and set jewelry on different levels. If you don’t have risers or jewelry platform sets, books are your best alternatives. You can always place cloth or special fabric over the books to make it seem like real platforms.
Magazines
If books are used as platforms, magazines can be used as stands. Having a lot of colored magazines at home doesn’t mean that you will just use it for reading during your boring days. In decorating for a rushed booth, all you need to do is roll the magazine and slip the bracelets over the magazine. Do remember, however, to tie the magazine in some way to prevent it from rolling back out. If it accidentally rolls back out, it may break your bracelets.
Bottles
Every home has some kind of bottle stacked at home. Maybe it was from your Christmas dinner where your father got drunk. Or the time your friends came over to drink but really, none of them did. Bottles can make a sophisticated addition to your jewelry display. If you have any empty bottles at home, all you have to do is wash them and stack them up at your booth. Then, to display jewelry, slip a few of your bracelets over the top and let it slide to the bottom. If you only have a few bracelets to display, you can also keep the bracelets hanging in the middle and use scotch tape to hold it there.
Ice Cube Trays
Now, here’s one thing you can easily get at home. Ice cube trays are available in almost every refrigerator when you buy them from an appliance store. If you’re not in need of ice at the moment, take it out for a while and use it to display some of your best pieces. If you have huge, statement rings, these will definitely look great with white or ice cubes trays. You can also display brooches or gemstones using the trays.
