Dream Interpretation – The Mystery of Dreams – Symbols Indicating Danger – The Spider

Our dreams are strange and mysterious because they follow a logic that is totally different from the logic of our human conscience and their language is also totally different from the languages we are used to. We are used to languages made with words, while our dreams’ language is made with images, sensations and feelings.

The dreams have an author: the wise unconscious mind, which is wise and has a saintly character. This is an organ that doesn’t belong to the human being – it is given to him by a superior human conscience that has reached perfection and could be named God.

The information and the guidance you have in dreams is always protective. The unconscious mind is always trying to protect your mental health from the attacks of the anti-conscience, the wild side of your conscience, which is primitive, violent and evil. It lives constantly trying to destroy the human side of your conscience through craziness in order to control your behavior, and this is why the unconscious mind lives constantly protecting your human side, sending you secret messages in a symbolic form, so that the anti-conscience won’t understand its directions.

There is an invisible fight inside you, between the wise unconscious mind that tries to save your humanity eliminating the poisonous anti-conscience, and this dangerous part of your brain and psyche that is so cruel and wild. You represent the human side of your conscience, the only part of your brain you have access to.

The other parts are invisible for you, but they are fighting for you: the human conscience. The evil anti-conscience wants to destroy you completely and take your place, while the wise and saintly unconscious mind is trying to save you and transform you into a wise, sensible and sensitive human being, so that you may live happily forever.

Dream Symbols which indicate great danger are the following:

1. The Spider – If you see a spider in a dream, this is reason for alarm. The spider represents a great danger threatening your future. If you don’t pay attention to various important details of reality and if you don’t do what you must in order to solve an important problem, the consequences will be very bad for you.

The spider is trying to show you that there is an invisible trap in the air. If you are not cautious, you’ll die there.

I have already explained to you that the dream messages have a protective character and that your worst enemy is the anti-conscience that tries to destroy the human side of your conscience through craziness.

What does it mean? It means that this wild part of your brain is constantly invading the conscious field and trying to make you follow its suggestions. If you pay attention to them and you follow them, you start losing the notion of what you are doing and you also start losing control of your life and your behavior.

This is how you start becoming a slave of the anti-conscience; in other words: this is how you become neurotic.

Now, the spider may represent a danger in your daily life, which is also related to the anti-conscience. Everything that happens with you can give an opportunity to the anti-conscience to start influencing your thoughts and your behavior, while pushing you towards the labyrinth of craziness.

The spider means that you cannot postpone an obligation, you cannot avoid taking action, you must do something urgently, otherwise you’ll have serious problems in the future.

You’ll live in a hell because of the problems you’ll have to face, or you’ll regret very much for not having done the right thing when you still had the chance.

The spider is a warning that protects you from being naïve and irresponsible.

There are many other dream symbols that indicate great danger, but I cannot give you a detailed explanation about each one of them in a short article…

I’m only going to mention them, translating for you their meaning, so that you may have an idea about their importance.

2. Teeth falling – This symbol is one of the worst ones. If you see in your dream that your teeth are falling, this means that you are making a very serious moral mistake that could cost you your life, your mental health and happiness.

3. You are flying in the air – This means that you are totally far from reality and your suppositions are absurd. You are an easy victim for the evil anti-conscience, because you believe in what is unreal.

4. You are falling – This is a sign that you will have a very serious deception.

5. You fall and you suddenly reach the ground and bump, jumping in your bed while you are asleep and dreaming, which may even make wake you up – This is a sign that the deceptions you will have will be of the worse kind. For example you will be betrayed, abandoned, lose everything you have, face despair, etc.

6. A rat or many rats – The rats represent men or women (depending on your gender) that only want to take advantage of you, pretending that they love you. Be careful if you have a relationship with someone or you are thinking about having an affair with them, but you suddenly see a rat in your dream.

There many other dream symbols that indicate danger. Unfortunately the wise unconscious mind has to show you all the dangers that threaten your mental health and happiness…

You have to learn the dream language, so that you may understand not only that you are in danger, but also how to successfully solve all your problems, staying out of danger forever by eliminating the evil anti-conscience.

You’ll transform this primitive and violent part of your brain and psyche into a calm and wise part of your human conscience, being this way able to live peacefully and happily.

Your Successful 3 Ways to Make $100/Day Online

Finding at least 3 ways to make $100/day online is not so difficult, but you should be aware of some traps that the Internet is generously putting in your way. You can succeed to make some money online, but patience and caution are required to get your online income reaching $3,000/month.

There are more than three ways to achieve your goal, but many of them are just variations of three main themes.

Paid to…

The first of the 3 ways to make $100/day online described here is becoming a member of several sites that pay you for clicking/reading/promoting. This kind of activities does not require investing money and, therefore, is the most accessible of all. However, only upgrading brings you some advantages like:

  • a higher pay/click rate;
  • a lower or no minimum payout limit;
  • a higher number of referrals allowed.

To be successful with this method, you should not only click on banners or e-mail links, but also build a huge referral down line, which is the real key to making online profits. Your daily clicks do not gather more than a few cents per site you are a member of.

The goal of making $100/day cannot be reached without help from your referrals. Since the pay/click rate is usually somewhere around several cents, you would need to click thousands of times to make $100.

Unfortunately, you do not have the time, patience and physical resources to click on banners 24/7. Your down line could help you succeed, but $100/day is a high limit to reach anyway if you are not a member of tens of such sites and you do not have hundreds of referrals for each one.

Betting…

You can also make money online while betting on stock or currency variations. There are many sites that promise you earnings of several hundreds or thousands of dollars in one minute, one hour, or one day. What they do not say is that you could lose your money as well.

Unlike the first of the 3 ways to make $100/day online described above, investing money is required here, as you bet your own money. The good news is that you are completely on your own and do not depend on the activity of your referrals like on the “paid to… ” sites.

The main recommendation is to be cautious and divide the money you can allow to bet in several fractions, so that you can earn from some of them and cover the eventual loss with the others. With a long practice, you will be able to forecast the trend of the currency variations and finally earn more than $100/day, but you have to invest more than a few dollars to succeed.

Investing…

The third of the 3 ways to make $100/day online is investing in high-yield investment programs, or HYIPs. The method is supposed to bring you a return of investment (ROI) of 2% or 3% per day usually. Your money is invested by people who pretend to be financial experts in schemes like Forex (foreign exchange market), which is a trading platform for international currencies.

The tip here is to use this high return of investment to buy new shares as soon as the necessary amounts of money appear in your account. You can make money online starting with 10, 20 or 100 dollars and accumulating new shares that will make possible earning $100/day.

A few simple rules to stick to

Theory and practice are always different. What you can see as promises on a certain site, could be unreal or could be conditioned by rules that are not explicitly mentioned. Before registering with a new site and investing money, please read the TOS and FAQ sections and try to understand how that site really works.

Do not invest money that you cannot afford to lose, even if you are promised huge returns from the very first day. You may be scammed like many others already have been. Certain sites promise high return rates, but disappear after one month or sooner, after having collected nice amounts of money from their subscribers.

There is no guarantee that the above 3 ways to make $100/day online presented above will work for you, other than your continuous work, patience and caution.

Challenges and Success Achievement Factor For Virtual Organization Concept

1. Introduction

When we look at the literature on virtual organizations, we see that the attention is primarily focused on the virtual organization as a network organization, pointing out the changing nature of organizational boundaries. Network technologies facilitate processes of in- and exclusion of people and resources. Hence, typologies of virtual organization forms are often focused on the description of specific patterns of network relations. The question can be posed if the network metaphor is distinctive enough to describe a virtual organization, because virtual organizations resemble too much the idea of a network organization. One reason reflects the idea that electronic networks and network organizations are in essence the same; or that a virtual organization mirrors the electronic network which is seen as the basis for the development of a virtual organization. Other typologies are based on the combination of success achieve factor. In all these typologies a deterministic relationship is suggested between the structure, environment, performance,. …est. virtual organization and some hindrance and how to solve it. However, one can doubt if this is a promising perspective. Virtual Corporation Similar to Virtual Business, a Virtual Corporation can operate without a physical identity (on-line business, e.g. Amazon.com).

2. Concept of virtual organization

Looking at the literature about virtual organizations, one stumbles about a variety of definitions; a variety which does not stimulate systematic research into this new organizational phenomenon. In literature, virtual organizations are described by pointing out the following characteristics:

– The virtual organization as a network organization. In this approach the emphasis lies on the location-independent and temporary collaboration between separate organizations which is based on the notion of interdependency. Information and communication technology (ICT) supports the collaboration between these organizations by facilitating the exchange, distribution and sharing of information, knowledge, know how and other scarce and vital resources.

– The virtual organization as fact and fiction. Virtuality points at the notion of “something appears to exist when in actuality it does not”. The virtual organization points at a situation where people or facilities that are not a part of an organization are linked to it as though they were. In this approach the emphasis lies on the contrast the between the people and resources which, in some situations, are apparently a part of the organization, while in other situations they are not.

– The virtual organization as an organization in cyberspace. Cyberspace specifically denotes the real and imaged space in which individuals meet in electronically mediated and simulated space. The emphasis lies on the establishment of an ‘information space’, which is created through the connection of computers and computer networks. The creation of this space facilitates the sharing of information and knowledge, as well as electronic communication. This connection results in the creation of a space of flows, which is compressed in time -Describes virtual organizations as spaces of flows, which are the material organization of time-sharing social practices that work through flows (of information, capital, images, sounds, symbols and interactions) between organizations and people.

– The virtual organization as the organization of memory. Central is notion of the dynamic allocation of information processing capacity within a network of connected computers and computer networks. Time-sharing, made possible by the connection of computers and networks, enables the parallel disclosure and use of information and knowledge within a network. The interconnection of information processing capacities enables organizations to develop a common memory, across organizational boundaries.

3.new trend(challenges) of Virtual Organizations-companies

Undoubtedly, the primary benefit of a virtual organization is that it can unite highly qualified people without location restrictions. Other reasons that an organization would want to consider being virtual rather than traditional are the ability to Leverage skills throughout the organization, Provide customers with the “best and brightest”, Balance work/home relationship, Save organization overhead costs

Virtual teams and virtual organizations obviously face many of the same opportunities and challenges. However, a virtual organization is at greater risk of failure, with more at risk as well. The high degree of interdependence required by virtual team result in a higher degree of performance. A virtual organization, however, will be somewhat more diluted in being specifically interdependent, since there will be multiple teams working on multiple projects, and requires even more work at making all teams feel more connected.

It requires a new management approach and an incredible awareness of the issues and challenges that could cause its demise. In a recent focus group represented by twenty members of a single virtual organization, but located at numerous site locations, the following challenges were recorded, Communication, Leadership/management, Knowledge transfer, Processes, Infrastructure. As you might guess, good communications must evolve into excellent communications and become a core competency. For this particular organization, there is actually a Communication Manager who has developed numerous communication vehicles, including: an intranet with the capability of sharing files, face-to-face group, team, and leader-ship meetings. In addition to all of the extra programs and vehicles provided by the organization, virtual employees must “go the extra mile” to keep others informed. It is a culture shift for many and critical to their personal and professional growth in a virtual organization. The organization and employees need to become active and constant communicators. This leads to this focus group’s second challenge – Infrastructure. Issues within infrastructure included: Lack of proper backup and tools , wasted administrative time (no on-site IT support) ,Knowledge sharing (loss of “water cooler” effect), and Need for corporate connectivity.

As you can see there is overlap in the two areas, specifically wasted administrative time and corporate connectivity. Bottom line is that a virtual organization needs to invest in technology and training. It must provide its employees with the proper tools and support to foster success. At this particular company a Virtual Help Desk was available to all of the members of this focus group. Thus, turning my attention to what I believe is the most critical success element of a virtual organization – active and constant communication. It will be interesting to see the evolution of the virtual organization can be a wonderful alternative to the traditional organization with multiple benefits to its employees provided management recognizes the challenges

4.Virtual Organization Success Achieve Factor

4.1 Structure, environment, and performance

Structure affects the performance of organizations, and relevant are structural dimensions to the performance of virtual organizations. It has long been argued that the more dynamic the external environment of the organization, hence unpredictability of customer demands, resources availability and similar factors, successful organizations would gravitate toward less mechanistic and more flexible or organic structures. Successful companies seem to adopt structures that favor less formalization, more decentralization, and coordination of differentiated units, thus striving for increased organist. But, are such structural characteristics a crucial determinant of organizational performance. The turbulence of external environments has been shown to influence organizational structure by way of the strategy chosen by companies to manage the dynamics of their market. Subject to the mitigating influence of strategic choices, the extant literature has suggested that successful, high-performance organizations (small and large) in dynamic or turbulent environments tend to have certain structural characteristics. These characteristics are measured by design dimensions such as centralization, formalization, and complexity. The relationship between structure and strategy has also been shown to be meaningful in organizations facing dynamic environments. This relationship is also defined as the “fit” between the structural arrangement and the strategy adopted by the organization. Simply stated, organizations that employ an organic and flexible structure are more likely to support changes in strategic choices in dynamic environments. Hence, adoption of strategic transformations, such as turnaround and reinvention, resulting in rapid adaptation to environmental changes. For the virtual organization, these findings are an important guideline. Facing turbulent and highly dynamic environments, they must structure themselves in a design that will “fit” the demands such an environment may impose on their strategic behavior. Therefore, a design that provides flexibility and organist will be correlated with strategic capabilities and with success and performance. There is a new venture organizations which concluded that new ventures in emerging industries (such as virtual organizations) have a high correlation between their level of performance and their level of organist.

4.2 Virtual teams

The team is generally defined as “a small number of people with complementary skills who are committed to a common purpose, performance goals, and the approach for which they hold themselves mutually accountable”. The creation of groups, that is, teams, “is a normal part of human social behavior”. Their importance for the organization lies in the fact that teams can make the organization “more flexible, quality-conscious and competitive. Accordingly, “the organizations that recognize the impact of teams on productivity can use that knowledge to their advantage”. The virtual team (VT) is one of the forms, characteristic for virtual organizations. It can be often heard that virtual teams represent the basic cell of the virtual organization. There are various definitions of the virtual team. What most of these definitions have in common is the fact that they emphasize that the members of the team are, besides being the representatives of the team, separated (in space and/or time) and that they interact primarily by e-mail. So, the virtual team is defined as “team(s) of people who primarily interact electronically and who may meet face-to-face occasionally” or “a self-managed knowledge team with distributed expertise, that forms and disbands to address a specific organizational goal” and “a group of people who interact through interdependent tasks guided by common purpose”, that “works across space, time, and organizational boundaries with links strengthened by webs of communication technologies”.

It is precisely in this definition that there is four essential dimensions of the basic model of VT “to hold something as distributed as a network and something as immediate as a virtual team-people linking with purpose over time”. The purpose, important in any organization, becomes a key factor in virtual organizations and teams, since it is the “glue” that holds them together. In fact, it requires the establishment of co-operative objectives, individual tasks and specific results. People make up the heart of the virtual team. One of the most stressed aspects is their high degree of independence or autonomy, while the need for interdependence and collaboration is also recognized.

Connections between the team members are critical and must be able to be made both by face-to-face interactions and through ICT (Information and Communication technology). Calendars, include team-specific result deadlines, task-completion milestones, and scheduled events, as well as holidays and other organizationally significant dates that impact timing.

They are three components to defining virtual team , Different geography of locations of team members: virtual team members can be located in different parts of a city or in different parts of the world. As the distance increases and more time zones are crossed, the window of synchronicity in the workday narrows. And, Team members from different organizations are parts of the organization: Team members can be from different organizations or from different parts of the same organizations. Finally Different durations or lengths of time that members work together as a team: Depending on its mission, a virtual team may unite for a project that lasts a few days, months, or years. There exist different variants of the virtual teams.

Certain authors (see: Snow et. al, 1999, p.18) speak about, the so called, “distributed teams” and some variants of the so called “cross-organizational teams”. Distributed teams are (teams) composed of people in the same organization who work in different places, either interdependently, or separately. The basic variants of the distributed teams are “task forces and project teams (as temporary teams). Such teams are formed specifically to solve a particular problem or to perform a specific task. When the problem is solved, or the task completed, the virtual team disappears (and team members go back to their normal duties). The basic variants of the so called “cross-organizational teams” are “collocated cross organizational teams” are “distributed cross-organizational teams”. “Collocated cross-organizational teams comprise people from different organizations who work together in the same place. On the other hand, the so called “distributed cross-organizational teams” involve people from different organizations who work in different places.

4.3 Training consultants

Training consultants interact with end users to understand their training requirements and formulate them in a way that may be used to construct a personalized training programmed. And Training/eLearning providers also act as integrators, building bespoke training packages and co-ordination their delivery to the end user Content providers which are modular resources that may be used with training packages. The eLearning operator the operator provides additional services such as a specialized portal, payment services via banks, etc, as well as generic services supporting trust, security and contract management in the operation of the VO.

4.4 Attributes

Business difference lies in the networking capabilities and the Virtuality. There is vast use of information and telecommunications technologies that allow for portability, instant communication from anywhere, at any time, and the ability to offer access to unlimited databases of information about products and services. The distinctions of Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Customer (B2C) also allow for instant transfer of information, independently of place and time of day, and the ability to manipulate unlimited amounts of data in virtual storage. Clearly, there are far- reaching implications for organizing and managing the marketing function, and such issues as the “business model,” the role of branding, and cost-per-transaction.

Networks allow for instantaneous orders and information exchange in what is termed: The “24 7 worlds”. Networking also facilitates cooperation among vendors and with customers. Such trends require changes in processes of communication, control, and product flow within the virtual organization-thus influencing the composition of its value chain. Another attribute of virtual organizations is the networking beyond the boundaries of the enterprise, thus forming inter-organizational workflows, combined with problems associated with technological standards, connectivity, and cultural differences. This phenomenon of the “extended enterprise” creates a myriad of structural challenges (Eliezer Geisler, 2001)

5. virtual organization successful creation steps

(1) The virtual organization is created by the people with a common idea who are over a period of time connected by the information and communication technology. Even during the first contacts, which are the result of the common idea, there emerges the need for the creation of the team identity. The name of the team symbolically represents its identity.

(2) After the creation of the identity of the VO there follow the activities whose aim is to show the purpose of the existence of the team. The team mission has to be formulated in due time, that is, it has to be understandable and, what is especially important, it has to be accepted by each member of the VO. Having that in mind, the mission postulates have to be stated with accuracy and precision. For some, this means writing down the purpose in a formal mission statement; for some it is a list of outcomes; still other will embrace a diagram or picture that captures the essence of what the team is about. Every mission statement and its pro-posed result sit inside a broader vision, whether explicit or implicit. Written down, the vision serves as the preamble to missions and goals.

(3) For many teams, virtual or not, the period from the first quickening of vision to the stating of a clear purpose may take as long as the whole rest of the life of the team. Start-up can be frustratingly long or bewilderingly brief. Setting milestones signifies a quickening of the pace and advance preparation for implementation.

(4) Goals serve as headings for groups of tasks and results. Well- conceived goals mark the major ingredients of the team’s work and are the seeds around which sub teams take shape to actually do the work.

(5) The team is the result of the goal-oriented people. If the team states with precision certain details in accordance to its aim, it, at the same time, identifies those to whom they should be entrusted. The table with the names of the team members represents a very practical file model of the virtual organization members (that can also be used for creating the so called virtual organization directory). The starting list of the team members is rather dynamic. The people who entered the team having the original idea need not be the regular team members. The crucial people have to be recruited, and the team may identify the places that are not filled, and that call for the necessary education, experience, or representation. The lists of the names give some necessary information about the team (for example, the size of the team).

In order to contact the people in the virtual world, one must know their addresses. The contact addresses are of crucial importance for the team functioning and they usually provide the following: the office location, the post code, telephone numbers (office, home, car, cellular), fax number, e-mail. The people who are included in the VO have to be carefully selected. They have to posse’s necessary skills such as, the so called “virtual behavior”, which enables them to be the strong “team players” and which simultaneously establishes the necessary flexibility. The VO members have to posses the skills of information managing, running the on-line meetings and discussions and successfully dealing with technological changes. What is more important, the team members have to possess a whole set of modes of behavior which, among other things, includes everyday “logging”, formal and informal communication, the ability to deal with an overdose of information, etc.

(6) What is extremely important for the creation of a successful VO is the creation of the corresponding relations among the members. These relations include the following: who will contact whom and what the goal of their mutual contacts will be. That is the reason why the teams, especially those newly formed, are advised to anticipate the mutual relations of their members by forming, the so called, “relation maps” which are necessary for the VO goal accomplishment. The idea that each member of the VO should be involved in all the team tasks is a very serious danger to the team. That is why is must be clearly stated which tasks require which members of the team to be included and how.

(7) A very significant moment in the creation of the VO is the choice of the suitable medium (the way or means of communication and information). When choosing the suitable medium, different things have to be taken into consideration: the activity that the team members do, the media that are already being used, the team member’s preferences towards certain media, the readiness of the team members to accept the media that are not momentarily used, etc. There are three basic media types: face-to-face, virtual same-time (synchronous), virtual asynchronous.

6. The VO problems and how to solve them

The fact is that the processes of the creation and functioning of the virtual organization are not simple. They are accompanied with various problems, from those arising from the cultural differences among the team members, their sometimes quite unreal expectations of what they and other team members can and cannot do, to the problems concerning the coordination of all virtual organization members. Yet, the following may be the key problems:

(1) The problems of (un) trust among the team members, It is supposed that the essential problem of the virtual organization is not the physical, but, the so called, psychological distance, among the members. The all present danger in most virtual teams is that the members who are from different places, belonging to different cultures and possessing different level of technological knowledge feel some kind of fear concerning the way in which their information will be used, or whether other members of the team will give the same contributions to the realization of the mutual task, etc. the trust which prevents the physical distance from becoming the psychological barrier in the communication of the team members. It takes some time to develop the “on-line” trust, although a little time is usually spent on that.

(2) The problems of communication inside the virtual organization Different problems concerning communication represent the serious problem in the functioning of the virtual team. One of such problems is the inability to view the whole project. The members of the virtual team know what they as individuals do, but they are not always quite certain whether and how the results of their work “fit” in the total, overall picture of the team task. Consequently, there sometimes can a rise problems like the delay of the information needed for accomplishing certain tasks, and accordingly, the delay of completing the whole work. The specific communication inside the virtual organization may even create some situations in which a member of the virtual organization does not under-stand the received message completely. What is needed in order to solve or moderate, lessen, the above mentioned problems of the virtual organization is a very adequate managing.

(3) The development of trust. This question has to be of the central importance to the team managers. It is the fact that the old-fashioned ways of the management based on the permanent supervision and control are not suitable for the virtual situation.

(4) The encouragement of direct (face-to-face) contacts, if at all possible. It is often suggested to the virtual organization managers to organize at least one initial meeting for the virtual organization members, so that they can meet one another in person and develop some personal contacts. Such meetings, if they are possible at all, make interpersonal contacts and relations among the virtual organization members stronger.

(5) To introduce the team members into the way and time schedule of the task realization. The basic idea is to enable the team members to realize their own position in the whole team. This can be done by showing the complete plan through the electronic means.

(6) To find the model how to avoid “delays”. This model can include, for example, the obligatory reply to the sent question, or the necessity to give the needed information for the stated time period (24 hours, or 48 hour, etc.), or the obligation to send the return information to the per-son looking for the answer that the question has reached the proper ad-dress and that giving the answer will take some time.

(7) To take records of each team member. Although it can be difficult to take records every day, it is advisable to send the information concerning the absence of each team member to other members (absence from home, town) on time..

(8) A framework for trust, security and contract management A new economy based on virtual organizations requires an environment within which businesses can quickly come together to share resources and work together to achieve the project goals. The negotiation, monitoring and enforcement of contracts and agreements that takes into account reliability, accounting, security and other issues such as IPR, will be an important component of this environment. In addition, there is a requirement for services to replace the trust inherent in operations within an integrated real organization (trust in colleagues even when not known personally, trust in procedures and processes, etc), and the trust between customer and an established service provider with a clear legal identity and brand/reputation.

7. Conclusions

We expect that the virtual organization concept will be widely taken up. It offers substantial business opportunities to service providers, especially existing operators of telecommunications networks, data centers and application, facilities. The existence of virtual, environment implementations will create opportunities for companies and other organizations to form enterprise networks and other communities on a commercial or public service basis. The literature on traditional and entrepreneurial organizations has established the crucial role that structural dimensions play in the performance and the success of such organizations. The same conclusions can be implemented in virtual organizations. These organizations are better served when they adopt a structure that offers flexibility and organist-measured by design dimensions of formalization, departmentation, centralization, and complexity.

Thus, virtual organizations can learn from the experience. The relationship between environment, strategy, and structure is as relevant to virtual organizations it is to traditional organizations. As we accumulate empirical knowledge on this relationship, we may now address the unique attributes of virtual organization asserting that this knowledge is highly relevant to their structuring and to their success. Any organization, when faced with the challenges of a highly dynamic external environment, must employ its design dimension in such a manner as to provide it with adequate agility and organ city, so that drastic strategic choices may be implemented in a timely and successful fashion. Virtual organization is one of the forms of the teams typical for the virtual organizations.

The virtual organization represents a group of people who primarily interact electronically and who may meet face-to-face occasionally. It is the team which, thanks to its specific traits, exceeds areal, temporal and organizational borders, and with its numerous advantages enables the organization to attain superior results. The virtual organization creation represents a rather complex process that includes several phases: Create identity, Draft mission, Determine mile-stones, Set goals, Identify members, Establish relationships, and Choose media. The virtual organization functioning is accompanied with various problems which can be successfully solved only with an adequate action of the virtual organization management.

Sexual Abuse – Covert (Subtle) Forms

“Traditionally, incest was defined as “sexual intercourse between two persons too closely related to marry legally–sex between siblings, first cousins, the seduction by fathers of their daughters.” This dysfunctional blood relationship, however, does not completely describe what children are experiencing. To fully understand all sexual abuse, we need to look beyond the blood bond and include the emotional bond between the victim and his or her perpetrator. Thus, a new definition has emerged. The new definition now relies less on the blood bond between the victim and the perpetrator and more on the experience of the child.” E. Sue Blume, Secret Survivors.

“Incest is both sexual abuse and an abuse of power. It is violence that does not require force. Another is using the victim, treating them in a way that they do not want or in a way that is not appropriate by a person with whom a different relationship is required. It is abuse because it does not take into consideration the needs or wishes of the child; rather, it meets the needs of the other person at the child’s expense. If the experience has sexual meaning for another person, in lieu of a nurturing purpose for the benefit of the child, it is abuse. If it is unwanted or inappropriate for her age or the relationship, it is abuse. Incest [sexual abuse] can occur through words, sounds, or even exposure of the child to sights or acts that are sexual but do not involve her. If she is forced to see what she does not want to see, for instance, by an exhibitionist, it is abuse. If a child is forced into an experience that is sexual in content or overtone that is abuse. As long as the child is induced into sexual activity with someone who is in a position of greater power, whether that power is derived through the perpetrator’s age, size, status, or relationship, the act is abusive. A child who cannot refuse, or who believes she or he cannot refuse, is a child who has been violated.” (E. Sue Blume, Secret Survivors).

Adhering to the definition of Sexual Child Abuse (see above), sexual abuse can be as subtle and insidious as:

o allowing the child to see pornographic pictures or movies or including the child with him/her as if the adult and child are peers

o a father rubbing cold water on his daughter’s chest–ostensibly to make her breasts grow

o a parent insisting a daughter do certain exercises to make her breast grow or grow bigger

o making jokes about a girl’s flat chest–i.e. two fried eggs, etc.

o giving a girl a T-shirt with two fried eggs in the strategic area of her breasts

o pulling a child’s bathing suit bottom down–the perpetrator usually laughs–causing humiliation

o a game of swimming pool tag–the person who gets ‘tagged’ gets his/her bathing suit pulled down, invariably a child is the only one who gets tagged and laughed at

o a man hugging a child while pressing his hard penis against her

o a man giving a child a ‘wet’ kiss on the lips

o a family member putting his tongue on a child’s lips or into her mouth–ostensibly the ‘family/friend’ kiss–the child doesn’t like this type kiss, but has no recourse since the child believes this is a family practice

o anyone, who has sexual intent invading a child’s privacy, such as entering the bathroom or bedroom without knocking, catching her unaware and indisposed

o anyone ‘playfully’ pulling his/her swimsuit bottom down or pulling her panties down without implied permission or permission

o bathing a child when the child is old enough to bathe him/herself

o any person touching or caressing the child in ways that are sexual

o a man holding a child on his lap while he has an erection

o a person who stares (ogles) at or makes provocative sexual comments about the child’s body

o anyone kissing the child in a way that is sexual for the giver

o seemingly innocuous touching, wrestling, tickling or playing, which has sexual overtones or meaning for the other person

o touching a boy’s penis with sexual overtone or meaning, while changing his diaper or bathing/drying him

o smacking or hitting a boy’s penis if he has an erection–generally done to boys age 2 to 5

o playing ‘red light/green light’ – If I touched you here (the person touches an erogenous area) would you say “Red light or Green Light? No matter the answer the person has transgressed a boundary and the child has experienced in-appropriate touch and therefore has been abused

o any adult asking/instructing a child to touch him/her in his/her erogenous or genital area

o copping a feel in the child’s erogenous or genital area

o a man touching/patting a child’s leg with sexual intent or meaning while driving

o a man with sexual intent or meaning while seemingly unintentionally touching a child’s chest/or breast

Women know how unnerving and icky it feels when a person ogles, touches, cops a feel or makes in-appropriate or unwanted sexual comments. Can you imagine how a child feels? While the child doesn’t know the intent or ramifications, the child feels the person’s sexual energy and doesn’t know what is transpiring, therefore a copped feel, ogling or sexual comments are more profound for a child than an adult.

While you might think these examples are far reaching–let me assure you each one has been told to me by a person who suffers the aftereffects of sexual child abuse. These aftereffects were consistent with others who had the same experience and same aftereffects. Furthermore, these covert (subtle) forms were seldom the extent of the sexual abuse. These covert forms of sexual abuse are usually grooming the child to have penetration.

Covert sexual abuse is more insidious than blatant sexual abuse. Thus, identifying it is more difficult because the sexual nature of the action is disguised. The sex offender acts as if she/he is doing something non-sexual, when in fact she/he is being sexual. The betrayal then becomes two-fold. The child is not only abused, but also tricked or deceived about the act. In this dishonesty, the child is unable to identify or clarify his/her perception of the experience. The unreal or surreal sense that accompanies any sexual abuse is intensified when the child is tricked into disbelief. Thus, the child doubts his/her perceptions and feelings and believes that there is something wrong with him/herself because he/she feels terrible.

To make matters worse, those around the child act as if nothing is wrong or there is collusion. For example: Uncle Lewie pulls his 3-year-old niece’s bathing suit bottom down and everyone laughs. Or a game of tag is played and the person who gets ‘tagged’ gets his/her bathing suit pulled down, invariably the child is the only one who gets tagged and laughed at. The child feels humiliated or shamed as everyone laughs at his/her expense. Thus, the child feels inadequate or crazy that he/she feels bad, as if she/he is the one with the problem.

Is "A Course of Love" Truth or Falsehood?

A Course of Love (ACOL) claims to be a continuation of A Course in Miracles (ACIM). It was heard inwardly and written down, as was ACIM, and in both cases the “voice” claimed to be from Jesus. However, the literary style of ACOL, though similar to that of ACIM, is not the same and appears to be an attempt to mimic it. In addition, there are major differences between these two works that need to be pointed out, because some of the teachings in ACOL contradict core teachings in ACIM that have helped and still are helping many to purify their minds of earthly illusions and the limiting beliefs of the ego, so they can receive the blessings of the Holy Spirit. If people believed the teachings in ACOL, the spiritual help they would otherwise receive from many of the teachings and practices in ACIM would be nullified. The purpose of this article is to shed light on some of the fundamental differences between the two works.

The following page and section numbers refer to ACOL: Combined Volume.

P. 280-282:

In 1.1, 7, 12, ACOL says that now – at this point in learning this course – the ego has been separated from the reader’s personal self, and the reader’s “remembrance of the Christ-Self has abolished the ego-self… ” In other words, it claims the reader has now realized the Christ.

P. 340-341:

ACOL says if you try to help others who are suffering you may lose your inner peace, that you should minister to those in illusion only if your unity (oneness) with Jesus Christ is accomplished and if, without being in unity, you try to help others leave illusions behind and return to unity, it will not work (20.14-15). This is not true. If you seek and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit within you when trying to help others, you will not lose your inner peace, and it is always helpful to recommend the teachings of ACIM to those who are receptive and ready.

If ACIM has benefited you, you can mention this to all who would be open to hearing what you have to say. By sharing with love and a desire to help others, our love increases, for we receive what we give. This is a divine principle, and those who live in love and in harmony with God’s laws help others. A Course in Miracles speaks of the laws of God, which have not changed. ACOL tells us that the time of Christ is now upon us, that new laws are now in effect, and that we no longer need the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit. There is no evidence of this. The time of Christ may be fast approaching, but the Holy Spirit is still with us. And when we listen to and follow His gentle guidance, He leads us to the Christ… the wisdom, love and light within… the truth of what we are.

P. 559-560:

These sections contain many false statements in an attempt to convince the reader that, in order to realize the one Self, one has to unite with oneness by separating from oneness.

In 11.5, ACOL tells us, “It is only in relationship that the oneness of the self separates from oneness and so knows oneness.” What could this possibly mean? If oneness is oneness, it could not separate from oneness.

ACOL also says, “God is the oneness and the separation.” How could God be the oneness and the separation? ACIM teaches that God is real, separation is illusion, and reality cannot be part real and part illusion.

Furthermore, in 11.5-6, ACOL says that, without relationship between separate selves, personal selves of form, God would not know “He” existed, and God would not know God. This is not true. The illusion of separate selves was not needed for God to know Himself and His existence. God is omniscient. He knows He exists and what He is through direct knowing of His reality, unlike human thinking, which depends on words and images in the mind that almost always represent physical perceptions, which are the mind’s interpretation of sensations caused by energy currents coming from sensory nerves in the body. When we think of something, even something spiritual, we almost always use words and images that are normally used to represent physical perceptions, which are illusions, not reality. God is reality and through direct knowing knows Himself and His existence.

In 11.3-5, ACOL also tells us that God, the self of form, and the One Self (the Christ) within the self of form, are capable of being either the observer or the observed only through the means of separate relationships joining in union and, in 11.6, that what is separate and joined in relationship is All because it is all that is knowable. To say that what is separate and joined in relationship is everything implies that, without separate selves of form (separate selves in physical bodies) joining in relationships, nothing else (which includes God and the Self) could have existed. The message of ACOL is that the existence of God and the Self was made possible by man. It is the opposite of what Jesus teaches in ACIM. In ACIM, Jesus tells us that God is our Author (Creator). He encourages us to set aside the false concept that we can create what we are, Chapter 3, VII (4), and to affirm that we are as God created us.

The Self – the Higher Self, or Son – is one’s reality. We may not be aware of the Self, but it is what we really are. The Self is blissful, loving, omnipresent consciousness, one with the Supreme Consciousness, God, and is changeless, ever as God created It. It already is elevated, in other words, is of Spirit, not flesh, and has no form. It is eternal, although individual souls under the influence of the ego identify with the body – the mortal, physical form they inhabit for a time – and thus do not experience their eternal reality.

God is the Supreme Blissful Reality beyond form, and it is our relationship with the Holy Spirit, whom God created to guide us home, and with those who are united with this loving aspect of God, that enables us to transcend form and become aware of our eternal reality as the Self.

ACOL is an attempt to persuade us that we needed to separate from oneness and relate to each other as individuals with bodily form in order to know God and the Christ, and for God and the Christ to exist. This is the antithesis of truths that Jesus and others who have known God and the Christ have taught down through the ages.

The paradise of Eden was a perfect world in which the first humans, symbolized by Adam and Eve, were in an exalted state of consciousness and experienced oneness with each other and God. They already were in relationship with each other and God and did not need to separate from oneness. God and Christ already existed, and they could commune with God, and perceive God in the life, beauty and intelligence of nature as one. They experienced diversity, the individual characteristics of each other and different things, but were also aware of the oneness of everything.

They could have remained in this paradise and after a short time become fully united with the Father while still retaining their individuality, but they misconceived and did not appreciate the gift of their creation as individual souls, like individual rays of light issuing forth from One Light, and the opportunity of experiencing the perfect world of Eden. They did not understand the purpose of their new existence and did not want it, so they mentally rejected it. Thus they separated themselves in thought, though not in reality, from God’s creation and from God, and fell from the heaven of harmonious unity with their Creator. They tried to compensate for this loss by finding pleasure in the imperfect world that resulted, but failed. Eventually, illusions almost totally replaced their awareness of God and of God’s creation. Today, our human consciousness and the world we perceive are a legacy of the fall of mankind in Eden.

The oneness and glory beheld by the Son in Eden before He fell into delusion may have been what Jesus meant by “what is true in earth” when he said, “Think not you made the world. Illusions, yes! But what is true in earth and Heaven is beyond your naming” (ACIM Workbook, Lesson 184: 8).

Most of the teachings in ACOL make little or no sense, especially those presented toward the end of the book, and they contradict timeless truths, not only those set forth by Jesus in A Course in Miracles, but those that were written about by Christian mystics and great masters who experienced, and therefore knew, the peace, omnipresent awareness and love of the Christ Consciousness.

The Christ Consciousness – the Christ, or Son – is omnipresent throughout the universe, and our awareness of It develops by degrees. The more we lift our consciousness above the level of sensory experience, the primary domain of the ego, and focus on that which is observable by the highest faculties of the soul, the more we unite with the Christ Consciousness.

Christ Consciousness is an extension of God, not as ACOL says, “the awareness of existence through relationship” (p. 560, 11.7). Christ Consciousness is in the Christ Light that exists just behind the world we perceive with our physical senses. It is the pure reflection in creation of the loving intelligence of God. It has existed since the beginning of time and is omniscient, changeless and without form. It is the Christ Mind, the Son of God, who manifested in Jesus and in time will manifest in every human being.

This is the way Jesus describes Christ Consciousness in Conversations with Christ by Alexander Soltys Jones. It is what enlightened beings have sometimes said, but often do not say, because words give an incomplete idea of higher truths, which need to be experienced in order to be known. Paramahansa Yogananda, an enlightened master, described Christ Consciousness using almost the same words. Yogananda had realized the Self as this divine consciousness, or awareness, omnipresent throughout creation.

ACOL is filled with false statements about the nature of God and the Christ. It was transmitted to the receiver from December, 1998 through October, 2001 and claimed that the time of the Holy Spirit (the Voice for God) had come to an end. It would be a grievous error to accept its false teachings, which contradict the very essence of Jesus’s teachings in ACIM, and give up listening to and following the Voice for God just because a spirit pretending to be Jesus said we were in the time of the Christ and no longer needed to listen to the Voice for God. It is now 2015, about fifteen years since ACOL was received, and while many souls are waking up, there is no indication that many have entered the state of Christ Consciousness, the omnipresent, loving intelligence in the Light of God just behind the world we see with our physical eyes. Moreover, in the ACIM Workbook Epilogue, Jesus says that the Course is a beginning, not an end, that there is no more need of specific lessons and that, after one completes the Course, the Voice of the Holy Spirit will be their guide and comfort as they continue on their journey homeward to God.

When I bought ACOL, I looked forward to learning more about the nature of the Self but found that many statements about the Self, God, and Christ Consciousness were vague, and I had to struggle to try to determine what they meant. However, by reading certain sections over and over, the meaning of these statements became clear, and I realized they were not true and I had been trying to make sense out of false teachings that could not have come from Jesus. In fact, many of them are the opposite of the teachings of Jesus and others who achieved God-realization – who had consciously united with (become one with) the Christ and the Father.

In ACIM, Jesus says that God the Father created us (the Self, or Son) in His likeness and our reality is formless. He tells us the body is an illusion; that it can make things, but does not create because to create is to create that which is real, and only Spirit can do this. ACOL reverses this and tries to convince the reader that we are beings of form (physical beings) and that through our relationships with other beings of form we create the Self, which is our reality. It even tells us that, unless we first existed as beings of form, God would not exist.

ACOL is full of false claims and deceptive arguments designed to negate Jesus’ teachings in ACIM. Here are some more of its falsehoods, contrasted with truths in ACIM.

P. 559-561:

In 11.3 the physical self is called the “self of form” but in 12.3 it is called the “Self.” Then, in 12.2-4, the Christ Consciousness is referred to as the “One Self” surrounding the space of the body. These and many other concepts in ACOL are not clearly expressed. This may have been intentional, to keep the reader from realizing that they contradict basic truths in ACIM.

ACOL claims that in order to share in unity and relationship we had to perceive separation from oneness (11.2). It would have us believe this because it wants us to accept the idea that, by separating from oneness, we could unite the world of form with the world of Spirit and, by combining form (the body) with the formless (Spirit), create who we are. However, we are the formless (reality), which is eternal, we are not form (illusion), which perishes, and in ACIM, Jesus says that reality cannot be combined with illusion. When we know reality, illusion disappears.

As mentioned, the first humans already were in unity and relationship. They were individual selves, had physical bodies and the power to materialize bodies, and they experienced oneness. Eden was a glorious state of consciousness, a happy dream.

These perfect selves could have enjoyed and learned from their experiences as individual souls in a world of beauty, love and light, and later, without losing their individuality, could have fully merged with each other and God as one. However, they misconceived the gift of existing as individual selves. They interpreted it as separation, and many thought of it as rejection. These and other judgments caused their consciousness to fall, and instead of paradise, they perceived a bleak world of their own imagining, which obscured the “happy dream” God had given them. They tried to find happiness in earthly pleasures, but without awareness of the soul and Spirit, earthly illusions simply increased the illusion of separation. They felt guilt and fear, and in time, their awareness of the peace, love, oneness, joy, wisdom, and power of the soul and Spirit were almost totally replaced with cravings for sense pleasures, greed, false beliefs, and other evils that arose in their illusory world. They became almost totally cut off from communion with God and descended into darkness and misery. God did not banish His children from their happy dream; they banished themselves.

There was never any need for us to perceive separation from God, and in reality, this never happened. In illusions, the happy dream of Eden was forgotten, but the Self still exists, and through unconditional love, we can make our relationships holy, experience the “real world,” and return to the Father.

If we contemplate the teachings in ACIM and sincerely seek and follow the Voice of the Holy Spirit, who patiently waits for us to truly want to be guided by Him, we can regain paradise and return to our Creator. We will know when we are in the time of the Christ, for we will feel our consciousness expanding in the infinite love and omnipresent awareness of our immortal Self, the Christ.

In 11.6, ACOL says, “Only what exists in relationship knows that it exists.” In context, it is telling us that separate selves of form (11.2-3), or bodies, can know they exist only by existing in relationship.

This contradicts a fundamental teaching in ACIM, that bodies and separation are both illusions (not real) and the Self (which is real and does exist) is without form. Therefore, relationship between separate selves of form is an illusion and does not represent the existence of what we are: the immortal, formless Self. Moreover, you know that you exist by experiencing what you are, not by experiencing relationship between your body and other bodies separate from each other. A “holy relationship” will help you to experience the love that you are and thus know that you exist, but this knowledge comes through direct experience of the Self when your relationship with another being is on the level of Spirit and transcends relationship on the level of physical form.

We are mind (consciousness), and when we awaken in the light and love of the Christ Mind (Christ Consciousness), we transcend the illusion of separation. Realizing our unity with each other in the oneness of the Christ Consciousness, we become aware that the body and separation are illusion (not real) and we are one.

In 12.3-4, ACOL claims that Christ Consciousness – the One Self (the Son) – is all that is, and then, on page 644 (37.22-24), says that “God the Father” exists only as an idea created by Jesus. This reverses the truth that God has always existed and, as Jesus tells us, is his Father (Source).

ACOL also says that the One Self loves Its Self, there is nothing else to love, and the One Self is the All. However, Jesus, who is one with the Christ Consciousness, loves the Father and, in ACIM, tells us that union with the Father is the goal of our journey.

The falsehoods in ACOL that have been mentioned are an attempt to convince the reader that bodies, separation, relationship between bodies joining in union, and materiality are real, and that God (the Father, who created the Son) exists only as an expression of the Son (Christ Consciousness), and that the Son could not have existed without separate physical bodies joined in relationship (11.2, 5-7). This is the opposite of the ACIM teaching that only God and God’s creations are real and that the body and the world we see with the body’s eyes are dreams that will disappear when we wake up and know God (who is beyond time and space and has always existed) and the Son (who is formless Spirit and was created by God).

P. 576-578:

In 16.10, ACOL says fear is a response to a feeling, not a feeling. In 16.14, it goes on to say that consciousness does not include either love or fear. This is nonsense. Fear is a feeling, which we experience as an emotional response to a perceived threat. And, although fear is illusion, it is part of consciousness (ego-consciousness, not Christ Consciousness), and Christ Consciousness is the loving consciousness that leads to the Father. Keep in mind that the term “consciousness” is usually defined as awareness (of anything, whether illusion or reality) but in ACIM Jesus uses “consciousness” and “perception” to refer to awareness of that which is illusion (unreal) and “knowledge” to refer to awareness of that which is real. Loving thoughts are an exception. They may be perceived in the world but are eternal and are its only reality, Chapter 11, VII (2).

P. 616:

After saying, in 29.5-7, that wholeness and separation are merged in the reader’s new reality – which is impossible because, according to ACIM, separation is an illusion and disappears when brought to reality – ACOL goes on to tell the reader that they are always the creator of their reality (29.8). This goes against Jesus’ warning in ACIM, Chapter 3, VII (4), not to believe you can create yourself. He says you can perceive that you can do this but you cannot make it true because God is your Creator. In VII (5), he says the belief that we can self-create denies the Fatherhood of God and is the “devil” because it reinforces the illusion of separation from God.

From statements on pages 553 (10.12), 559 (11.2-3, 5-6) and 561 (12.2-4) in ACOL one can see that the spirit that conceived ACOL wants the reader to believe the body is an essential part of Christ Consciousness – the One Self, the Christ (page 580, 17.4) – and is reality. This is the opposite of what ACIM wants us to realize, that the body is not real but is an illusion, and that illusions cannot be combined with truth – the oneness, love and light of God that exist beyond illusion. The body is what caused human beings to forget God and reality in the beginning.

Students of ACIM would lose the benefits of its teachings if they read and believed what ACOL says. If they believed, as it claimed (about fifteen years ago, when it was received), that the time of the Holy Spirit had ended, and the reader was consciously united with the Christ and no longer needed to be guided by the Holy Spirit, they would cease to listen for and follow the “Voice” of the Holy Spirit, which as Jesus repeatedly tells us in ACIM, enables us to overcome the influence of the ego and unite with the Christ. The Christ, the Son, is the reflected light, love, and oneness of God; omnipresent and omniscient – our immortal being, our true identity – and we need the help of the Holy Spirit so we can consciously unite with the Christ.

As mentioned, ACOL wants the reader to believe that the body is part of the reality of the Christ. This is an attempt to negate Jesus’ teaching, clearly stated in ACIM, that the illusion of the body blocks our awareness of God (Chapter 18, VIII 1-2 and IX 3). Most people are strongly attached to the body, with their minds focused on food, entertainment, physical pleasure and worldly concerns, spending little or no time contemplating, worshipping or thinking about God. Very few people are aware that God is within them as divine love and light. Instead, they think of themselves as the body and therefore feel separated from God. They keep trying to fill the void by seeking happiness in the pleasures of the body, which never works because without experiencing the love of God, one cannot be truly happy and satisfied. As long as one remains focused on the body, thinking it is their reality, the illusion of separation continues.

If people believed what ACOL teaches, they would think they had already achieved union with the Christ. Instead of contemplating and living the truths in ACIM and following the “Voice” of the Holy Spirit, they would think all they had to do was let the Christ take care of them. Many would not even give material help or spiritual counsel to those in need of it, because ACOL said this was not their responsibility and could cause them to lose their inner peace. Unsubstantiated and often enticing statements that contradict those of Jesus in ACIM would keep them from knowing Spirit, and they would continue to experience separation from the Self and God.

The ego, fearful of its demise, is intent on replacing God with illusion, Reality with unreality, and Truth with falsehood. It wants us to cling to the idea that the body is an essential part of reality and is what we are. It wants us to believe we create our reality through relationships with each other in physical bodies, when in truth our reality already exists, is Spirit, and only needs to be discovered. It was the ego in the mind of a smooth-talking, crafty spirit that conceived ACOL, in an attempt to keep souls from attaining liberation through the teachings in ACIM and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Note: In addition to some of Jesus’ teachings in A Course in Miracles and Conversations With Christ, this article also includes spiritual concepts from God Talks With Arjuna: The Bhavagad Gita by Paramahansa Yogananda, Love Without End by Glenda Green, Messages from Jesus by Mary Ann Johnston, and The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ by Levi.

What 3d Models More Popular on 3d Markets?

Hello, I suggest discussing such an interesting topic together. Each model is a time-wasted hour and I would like to see the result as soon as possible – I wonder what the hammock was exchanging at the sea and walking on a bicycle.

Therefore it is important to understand what and why to do, there must be some kind of strategy.

For convenience, I divided the model into several categories. Each of them has its pros and cons, as well as the level of competition and the maximum cost. More importantly, they have different buyers.

Clipart

Yes, this is known to all of us clipart, only in 3D. There are people who buy the model solely for the sake of a picture – from it you can make a unique image in a comfortable style, size, at the right angle and with the necessary shadow.

An important feature of such models is that it does not matter if there are free analogues on the torrent, a huge selection of similar models and so on. The buyer chooses based on visual preferences and it’s your renderer that can hook it up. Also, a license is important for him (that is, everything is legal) and of course it is desirable that he can easily get the same result as you do on the render.

Of the minuses – of course, earnings. Navryatli someone is willing to pay large amounts for clipart, I think a maximum of $ 25-40 per model (your earnings are 30-40%). Typically, they buy such models of creative agencies and design studios, which are accustomed to the photos and their prices.

Themes for such models are best to search on sites with a clip art (obviously). You need to think like a web designer: what kind of perspective can he use for a postcard or to put on his website. Look also at the mocap: a yogurt bank with a white label, a billboard, a signboard and the like, where the buyer will replace the texture and be able to use the image in the presentation.

As an example, this is a separate site of Turboskvid, which they rolled out exclusively for these customers. In one word, there is a market.

Smart move will also sell the renderers of such models separately in photo-drains. If people order 3d rendering services, 3d models – they will also buy there, because customers are the same. Here I recommend Philip’s blog about 3D illustrations.

Hard-surface, which saves time

The main definition for this category is the time savings of the buyer and the difficulty of creating a similar model for him and his inhouse team himself. That’s why these models are the most expensive.

This is any technique: cars, military vehicles, airplanes, ships.

The creation of a detailed car takes from two weeks of working time and can not be done after watching several videos on YouTube (unlike a vase, a cup, a table). Therefore, here you save the time of the buyer and his money, eliminate the risks from working with freelancers. For example, if two weeks are required for an experienced modeler to create a good model, then it turns out about 80 working hours. On average, an hour of freelancer work in the West is 5-12 dollars. And if the buyer is lucky, he will receive a similar model for $ 400 (a super cheap option, usually it costs 900 or more). Therefore, the price of $ 150 for a finished car and the lack of correspondence with the performer, and even right now, and not in a month – is the solution to all problems.

However, there is a minus and it is obvious: you will spend a lot of time on the model and not the fact that you will do it qualitatively. You can also make a mistake and do something that is not in demand – I suggest that in the next article I pay attention to this category and the choice of models in it (in any case, write your advice and experience in the comments).

Important: this includes only those models that do not become obsolete. That is, phones and other gadgets do not take, because in a month there will be a new version and your work will be of no use to anyone.

The most advantageous, though sometimes competitive, option is cars that have only been lit at an automobile exhibition and it is desirable that there are a lot of publications about them. It’s clear, do not make concepts or cars that will never go into production. That is, Tesla model 3 (at the time of publication of the article) is an excellent option, which is sure to be sold, and Chery Arrizo 7 is bad and maybe no one will buy it (only Hum3d can afford to do such models).

Feel free to submit one and the same model in different versions. For example, cars can be with racing textures, separately with any body kit, separately with the interior and separately of ordinary quality. The buyer needs different models, and even a small change, which seems like a trifle, also saves their time and avoids hiring a freelancer for revision.

Models from trends

A logical continuation of the previous category. This is all about which there are many publications and what is "hysteria" in the network. For example, the Pokemon Go, the Game of Thrones or the North Korean missile launcher they threaten the US, perhaps even an American aircraft carrier, who went to Korea – suddenly something bright will happen to him, and you will have his model.

Trend is not just something from the TV. The events that surround you can also be a trend, though only in this region. For example, there are many demonstrations in the world? – Time to make details of SWAT clothing, barricades and other attributes.

Who will buy them: news sites for the picture, because this is not yet, and the reportage must be done; fan for fan art; an entrepreneur for covers of notebooks, toys and other things. Also, similar "clipart" is needed by various organizations that are involved in the trend – for example, the UN for presentations.

Less: Of course this is a temporary effect and after a while the model will no longer be interesting and there will be a lot of such models. Therefore, it is foolish to spend a lot of effort on them – you need to do it quickly and on time.

If the model is unique and you are the first, the price will not be important and you can set it high enough.

Models for games

With them, I’m sure everything is clear: they are made with a minimum number of polygons, in a game format for unity or ue4 and that 3d rendering services only needed for developers of games and mobile applications.

It’s nice that in this category there can be models of any theme: from auto, to characters. Everything is equally necessary in the video game industry. However, there is a small feature: everything must be generic, that is not branded. No nameplates on the car, Nike logos on sneakers and other recognizable attributes.

Models are sold well. An example, besides and so understandable stores with Unity and Unreal, can be a 3DRt store.

The downside is that in this niche a huge number of indie developers who have little money or money were saved on sandwiches at school. Therefore, prepare yourself for the sapport and constant requests to give something for free. Large companies usually do everything themselves and do not count on them. Therefore, there is earnings, but with nuances.

Models for interior visualization

The most competitive and cheap niche. It is here that they will rather prefer a free model than buy a paid one. Among other things, marketplaces are full of identical models, stolen from some sets and rendered in another studio. Since the entry threshold here is much smaller than in the Hard-surface, many models are objectively low.

A good example of earnings and free models is the http://www.artstation.com site.

In addition, this is not obvious for many, in the niche of the accessories trends and new collections are important, that is, there is obsolescence: architects and interior designers prefer to use furniture in visualizations from new collections that their customers can go and buy in salons. Therefore, in order to keep afloat, you need to constantly make furniture from fresh catalogs.

It is worthwhile to add here that many furniture manufacturers lay out their entire assortment in the form of free models – this should also be watched in order not to do unnecessary work.

However, there are people who work in this niche very successfully, for example, guys from Bulgaria.

People and Characters

Definitely expensive and popular category, both in the form of a clipboard (people in different positions and different professions) and in the form of characters for games, videos. It has a great and constant demand, even despite the development of scanners and the availability of free libraries. Prices are very high and they are ready to pay.

Designers often need hands holding a phone, a gun or a notebook. Of course, the hands should be made separately male and female, of different skin color.

As already mentioned, we need different professions: a driver, a racer, a motorcyclist, a banker. They are used in presentations, on various events and visualizations. Celebrities and politicians stand by themselves – they too are bought for various shows and videos. However, be careful with copyright, not every super hero can be made for sale.

By the way, do not forget about the growing needs of the p-th industry, where you always need detailed and realistic people and their separate bodies – I think it’s modeling for an amateur, but this niche does exist.

Another trend is medical imaging. Pharm companies need different anatomical objects for presentations. There are a lot of searches for internal organs, bones and so on. However, the correctness of the transfer and understanding of what exactly you model and how you render is important here.

Cad model, printout

Here I have little experience, I know that there is demand for both models for CNC machines and models for the printer, but I can not say anything worthwhile about it. I think that this is all something special in that it is necessary to delve very deeply.

From the outside I see that CgTrader could not do business on models for printing and switched to a new strategy for VR models. At the same time there are many marketplaces selling only such models.

On this I have everything.

I hope it was interesting and useful for you. If I forgot some categories or you have your own experience – be sure to write in the comments.

Virtual Reality – Why This Time Is Different

Let’s start with a quick primer on the history of VR. VR was created in 1965 by Ivan Sutherland – he created the “Ultimate Display”, a device that could overlay wireframe interiors onto a room. The military was simultaneously researching and investing in VR’s potential for flight simulation and training.

The VR industry continued to develop over the next couple of decades, but appeal was limited to only the most ambitious engineers and early adapters due to the cost of components, and the computers that powered them. Even in the early 90’s, the price tag on a decent virtual reality device was over $50,000. The high cost of entry, of course, meant that it was still very much out of the question for the average consumer.

PALMER LUCKEY AND OCULUS RIFT CHANGE THE GAME

Fast-forward 40 years and Palmer Luckey (the inventor of the Oculus Rift) created his first VR prototype at age 18 in his parents basement. Luckey eventually developed the product that would come to be known as the Oculus Rift. Oculus has ushered in the current era of VR development and breathed new life into this promising technology.

The announcement of the Oculus was followed closely by tech insiders, developers, and early adopters, all of whom had been chomping at the bit to experience this new frontier in VR development. It wasn’t long before heavy-weights like Facebook, Google, and Samsung took notice and began investing heavily in VR with the hopes of producing the first consumer ready device. Facebook believes so strongly in the Oculus Rift that they acquired the company for $2 Billion in March of 2014. Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg stated that he sees the acquisition as a “long-term bet on the future of computing.”

TODAY’S CHOICES FOR CONSUMERS

The current lineup of VR products run the gamut in terms of price and accessibility. You can get your feet wet with Google’s product (aptly named Cardboard). Cardboard is very inexpensive, roughly $20.00. It uses easy to obtain components like cardboard, biconvex lenses, a couple of magnets, Velcro, and a rubber band. Instead of a built-in display like the Oculus Rift, this product is powered by any Android phone running 4.1 or higher (just slide your phone into the “headset”). You assemble it all yourself, following Google’s step-by-step instructions with pictures.

The phone powers the entire experience with applications found in Google’s Cardboard app store). There are no external wires or clunky hardware to deal with… just the Cardboard case and your Android phone. At Primacy we recently built one to test out in house – the entire build took about 5 minutes from start to finish.

Facebook’s Oculus Rift

Given the current pace of innovation it’s a safe bet that both the hardware and software for Facebook’s Oculus technology will only get better in the months ahead. The consumer model, though not currently available, is expected to be released mid 2015. The developer model (DK2) costs $350 and comes loaded with a low latency display (the same used in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3). The display delivers a respectable 960×1080 resolution per eye with a 75Hz refresh rate. The unit also includes a gyroscope, accelerometer, magnometer and a near infrared camera for head and positional tracking. Applications are run on a computer which is connected directly to the headset via an HDMI and USB cable.

Samsung’s Gear VR Innovator Edition

Samsung saw an opportunity to jump into the VR mix and partnered with Oculus. They’ve produced a headset that looks like the most consumer-ready device to date. Samsung’s Gear VR Innovator Edition is exactly what you would expect from the established tech giant both in terms of quality and usability. It’s also the most expensive option, coming in at an msrp of $200 for the headset + $750 (off-contract) for the phone required to power it. Unlike Google’s Cardboard, the Gear VR only works with a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, so if you’re lucky enough to already own one you can save yourself a significant amount of money.

The headset itself is very well designed and quite intuitive. There’s a volume toggle, touchpad, and “back” button on the right side of the headset that can be used to easily navigate through VR experiences and applications. The top of the headset holds a focus wheel that is used to adjust the focus to optimal range for your eyes. Two straps hold the unit firmly on your head which seals your vision off from the outside world to improve the sense of immersion. Plus, the absence of any cables tethering you to a computer helps make the experience more enjoyable and portable.

There’s no need to take the unit off your head in order to download or switch applications… everything can be done through the Oculus Home menu or Samsung’s application library after the initial setup and configuration. There are a handful of interesting and useful apps included out of the box such as Oculus Cinema – for watching movies and videos in a virtual cinema, Oculus 360 Photos – for viewing panoramic photos, and Oculus 360 Videos – for viewing panoramic videos. Samsung also recently released a marketplace called Milk VR which is basically YouTube for VR.

THE DOWNSIDE – A CASE OF THE JUDDERS

We’ve found that many of the applications available now are graphics heavy and the experience can degrade quickly without a fairly good graphics card. It is worth noting that experiences involving 3D graphics and rapid motion can quickly become nauseating to some folks due to frame-rate or GPU restrictions and a phenomena known as “judder” (when the images become smeared, strobed or otherwise distorted), so it is really the responsibility of developers to create “comfortable” experiences which aim to minimize judder. Despite the drawbacks – when used in tandem with a computer that has a high end GPU, the result is a sense of immersion that 10 years ago would have seemed impossible. The Oculus developer site currently lists both a PC and Mobile SDK which include integrations for Unity and Unreal game engines. The PC SDK is intended for the Rift DK2 where-as the Mobile SDK is intended for Oculus powered devices which leverage mobile phones.

VR – THE FUTURE IS HERE (OR REALLY, REALLY CLOSE)

We’re just starting to crack the surface with VR. The emergence of panoramic video and photo is making it easy to “teleport” viewers to places they could never physically be.

Imagine a front row seat to watch your favorite band play live… with the freedom to look in any direction in real time. Imagine walking (literally… walking) through your favorite national park as if you were really there. Imagine sitting in a conference room half way around the world and interacting with others as if you were really there. These are just a few of the amazing applications that VR devices like the Oculus Rift enable. So stay tuned – if current progress is any indication, virtual reality is here to stay, and it’ll be invading your living room or office much sooner than you might think.

My Boyfriend Can’t Handle My Past! How to Deal With This Effectively

Unfortunately, not many of us go into our lifelong romantic relationship without some sort of past. It’s inevitable that eventually a discussion will occur in which both you and the man you adore will confess your deepest, darkest, past relationship secrets. Even though any other entanglements happened before you two met, they can still cause a lot of conflict in the present. Such is the case with a man who just can’t seem to get over the reality that his girlfriend had boyfriends before him. If your man can’t handle the fact that you do have a past, you’re facing an uphill battle. Once you confess your past sins to him you obviously can’t take them back. However, there are things you can do to effectively undo the damage you’ve already done and get him to see beyond what you did before you met him. Getting your man to focus on the here and now is truly the key to accomplishing this.

Make Certain He Knows That What You Feel For Him is Different

It’s impossible to know how much is too much to tell about your past. In most relationships we strive for full disclosure. We want the connection to be based on honesty and that includes frankness about any relationships that may have been significant that happened in the past.

However, you can never really know for certain how your man will eventually react to the news that you were involved with other men before him. Some guys take the information in stride and never give it a second thought, others allow the details to fester in their emotional core and it quickly becomes a source of unending conflict between the couple.

You can typically tell if your man is bothered by the news that you have indeed had a past before him. He’ll ask countless questions about your former lovers and he may even ask you to compare him to them. If this does indeed happen you must be very clear with your boyfriend that he is the only man you have ever felt so close to. You must make a point of expressing to him that you believe the connection you two share surpasses anything you had in the past. Make certain that your boyfriend understands that you feel that any experiences you may have had before meeting him were only to fill in your time until he walked into your life. Ensure he feels very special.

Encourage Him to Focus on The Present and The Future

If your boyfriend repeatedly wants to talk about your past relationships, switch the conversation to what you want to do now and tomorrow with him. Some men become so fixated on their girlfriend’s past that they can’t enjoy what is happening between them right now in the moment. You have to be the one to guide your man towards this enlightenment and you can do that by creating new experiences for both of you. Each and every time you say to your boyfriend, “I’ve never done that before,” he’ll feel he’s embarking on a new adventure that you’re only going to share with him. It doesn’t matter if it’s rock climbing or trying a new restaurant. The focus should be on creating new memories that only involve the two of you.

It’s also wise to gently tell him that you can’t change your past and that he needs to let it rest so it doesn’t create an enormous divide between the two of you. He may feel unable or unwilling to do that but it’s important that you stress to him that unless he does, the relationship can’t move forward.

Realize That His Insecurities Are Driving His Behavior

When a man asks a woman about her past, he’s typically doing so with an expectation that he’ll be able to handle whatever she shares. If the information reaches beyond the scope of what he expected to hear, it may push some vulnerability buttons within his ego.

Even if your other experiences were years and years ago, your man may take them as a personal challenge. He may wonder what you saw in other men and he may also take on the unreal idea that you should have waited for someone like him, or him, in particular.

If he asked about your past and you shared what you felt was appropriate in an honest and compassionate way, you can’t possibly control his reaction. You are not responsible for his bruised or threatened ego. You can’t carry with you the guilt that your confession changed the relationship. If your connection falters because of your honesty, that’s a clear indicator that your man’s ego matters more to him than honesty between you two.

There may come a point when you have to decide if you want to continue defending your past choices as you’re trying to build a new and meaningful connection with a man who seems stuck on your past. It’s important to remember that regardless of how much he may wish you could change your past, you can’t. If he can’t accept the woman you are now, including who you were in the past, that may be a sticking point you two can’t get past.

IN SEARCH OF GOD: The God of Spirituality

The questions about God have occupied our minds for centuries in one form or another. What is God? Does He really exist? Why do we search for God? Do religions really believe in the same God? Why are there religious wars? Such questions have been asked over and over again by humanity as such and by individual beings at different stages of their lives. The mythology of God has created its own history. Human society changed from hunter gatherers to farmers with the invention of agriculture. The female God was replaced by the male God and violence was introduced in the name of religion. Instead of searching for God that is tangled up with violence and survival, today we should search for God of spirituality.

“With SPIRITUALITY come Morality and does what’s right. Spiritual people are not God-Less but honor the God in all of us”

Religions and prophets have been preaching about God for centuries, and millions of people have developed faith in their concept. The revolution of science and technology in this century has forced many of us to reevaluate the doctrines and tenets received through our religious traditions. Should we believe in creation or should we believe in evolution? Should we believe in heaven and His court of justice when we look up in the sky or should we believe in the space, the planets, and the galaxies up there? I hope this write-up will provide a fresh insight into the mysteries about God — and leave us wiser, peaceful, and enlightened. Rather than underscore the conflict between religion and science and point to their mutual exclusivity, we need to unravel the strands in both and see the extent to which one augments the other.

The concept of God has practical value, for the new generation of science and technology and people of 21st century, only if we are prepared to interiorize that concept in a unique manner. A scientist may find it difficult to believe that some wise old man or woman sitting up in heaven is keeping track of everything; because “God does not micromanage our actions.” But the same scientist can’t deny the incredible awareness and intelligence that exists in life, in nature, and in us. It’s being a scientist that makes us spiritual and believer.

God is no more a theoretical concept that had been preached by most religions. For the new generation of 21st century, we should be able to experience. This is the essential part of being a religious today. Meeting God, having vision, living with God 24 hours a day; that is what being a religious is all about. The God is not in church or mosque or temple or gurdwara only that appears every Sunday. God is also not sitting somewhere in the sky watching our actions. The God is in us, the God is in congregation. “If we can’t see God in all, we can’t see God at all.” We need scriptures that can teach us all humans are capable of achieving union with God while still alive by realizing the Divine within. We want to become one with God and experience it.

We need scriptures, where god-realization teaches merger of soul (atma) with supreme soul/God (parmatma) and salvation (Jeewan Muktee). In such realization there is no heaven/no hell per se. All those are on this earth; and not separate places such as patal (netherworlds) and agas (sky) which has been misinterpreted as particular places by many theologians.

We need scriptures like Guru Granth Sahib where Sikh Gurus and other contributors have defined God as Omnipresent, Omnipotent, Transcendental (Nirgun), Immanent (Sargun), creator, loving, kind, compassionate, caring, and in various other ways.

We humans are the only species in the animal kingdom who are blessed with an analytical capacity and logic. We possess the only nervous system that is aware of the phenomenon of God, soul, reincarnation, hell, and heaven. Many of us question the existence of God we have known through religion and history! Is God a creation of our own mind that is influenced by the environment? For example, most of those who grow up in a communist world, do not believe in God. Could God be an “idea” depending on the climate, the environment, and the tradition in which we have been brought up? Does God exist for us humans only– the only species known to have a mind which fosters ideas?

Because the concept of God helps many of us deal with ups and downs in life and keep the mind tranquil, could we be using the concept of God mainly to deal with life-crises. I hope this write-up can provide a meaningful understanding of the questions we have raised here and many more that occupy our mind as well as a personalized answer to the questions which will conform to our nature as both rational and religious human beings.

Our purpose is not to create a new religion, sect or movement, but to understand the concept of God, which constitutes the spiritual basis of living. Such understanding will put us on a road to love and happiness irrespective of our faith.

In understanding God and Spirit, mind, in the way we use the word, is not just thought. It includes our emotions as well as all unconscious mental-emotional reactive patterns. Emotion arises at the place where mind and body meet. It is the body’s reaction to your mind – or you might say a reflection of your mind in the body. “Spirituality is defined as the self, connected (by consciousness/energy) to The Higher Power. We are all part of the One Spirit. When one experiences the true meaning of spirituality, which is to know God, you will realize that He is your Self, and that He exists equally and impartially in all beings.

The Self is the knower, the observer, and the witness. It sees everything and not seen by the seer. Our awareness of Being is consciousness. The body has no awareness of its own if it were not pervaded by consciousness; it would be just a lump of flesh. The mind has no awareness of its own and does not even have true intelligence. The mind can only think and doubt. It has beliefs, opinions, likes, dislikes but is not aware of anything. Awareness and true intelligence exist within the SELF”. Ego, Intellect and Senses are barriers to Spirituality: “When the five senses are stilled and thinking has ceased, when the intellect does not stir, in between two thoughts, then one can enjoy the tranquility of mind and reaches the highest state of spirituality”. The real spiritual experience is so profound that it wholly transforms the character of the individual.

Unlike God in Semitic religions, “God of Spirituality” has no devils and evil. God is loving, kind, compassionate, caring, and omnipresent. The realization of “God of Spirituality” does not support the concept of God who punishes his creation for perceived sins and bad karma. Therefore, there is no doctrine of karma in any fatalistic or deterministic sense”.

“Why God is a Mystery”? Just as a bird flying in the infinite space does not leave any marks behind, similarly, God does not leave any footprints in the material world! God is Omnipresent but remains a ‘Concept God’, invisible to devotees: God is everywhere, in every atom of the visible and invisible Cosmos as a Power of evolution and involution. Thus the Universe itself is unfolding out of its own essence beyond the reach of our limited senses. There is no absolute proof of the presence of the Absolute, Infinite God. God cannot be confined within the limits of the finite experience of our limited body-mind-intellect apparatus. It will continue as a mystery unless we try to understand the laws of nature in light of scientific knowledge.

God is not a logical proposition: you cannot prove it by logic; you cannot disprove it by logic. Logic is utterly irrelevant to God. God is an idea in theology, though we try to make it a reality. Science makes it real, because universal energy is real and in science god is accepted as universal energy or all powerful God.

There is one Universal energy that we can call God, Allah, Ram, Parmatma, Hari, Lord of the Universe, Nature or any other name we choose. That energy is constant; it can neither be created nor destroyed. However, this energy can convert into matter and matter can convert back into energy. Therefore, everything is created out of this energy and goes back into this energy. All matter is a form created from formless Energy, and the creativity is infinite and method of self-creativity is a real wonder when we look at the creation and growth of living organisms. A scientist cannot deny the feeling of being startled at Nature’s absolutely phenomenal and the most intelligent work of self-creation into all the complicated life forms including a human being through a greatly thoughtful and organized manner. This reminds me Albert Einstein when he said: “God does not play dice with the world.” We may rephrase the above revelation that “The Creator is in the Creation, and the Creation is in the Creator.” That’s why it is impossible to see God, because He resides in us. Since we and God are one, we obviously can’t see God, just as, for instance, an eye cannot see itself. This is like individual waves are part of the same ocean or individual rays are part of the same Sun. That is the ultimate truth.

The one who realizes this truth have no enmity. Because we are created from the same source. That’s why “If we don’t see God in all, we cannot see God at all.” If we don’t see others as an enemy, then there is also no fear. Fear is the product of others. One who realizes this truth is not only without enmity and fear, but is not afraid of getting old or of dying young. Also not afraid of reincarnation or hell or heaven. But such realization comes only to few who are blessed and try hard to realize this truth. That’s what is realization of God.

Another way to look at the same point of view is: Many of us have been asking what is God: “We spend too much time in believing what we don’t know. Those who believe in God; God is the very core of our being, it is like peeling an onion and reaching that central nothingness, which is God. The whole is God.” The universe and God are one. There is no remainder in the mathematics of infinity. All life is one; therefore, there cannot be God and man, nor a universe and God. A god not in the world is a false god, and a world not in God is unreal. All things return to one, and one operates in all.

“God is neither Human Statue nor any Religion God. God is the Electromagnetic pulse of energy that gives life and lives within all.”

That is why God and spiritual man including all the prophets and saints may represent reflections of God. This metaphor/simile may help us understand. God is one like a moon. However, there may be numerous reflections of moon in pitchers full of water. We are like water pitchers representing reflections. When a pitcher breaks down the reflection is gone but moon is there. Just like this metaphor God is real and immortal but we including prophets come and go (because material aspect of energy is not permanent). Therefore no prophet is God. Because God is one and only one who is neither born nor dies. That is why we can say that God does not come in anthropomorphic form.

Know Yourself: Seven Steps to Self-Awareness

STEP1: Each day write down one thing you noticed about yourself. If it’s an insight all the better, but anything will do and every day doesn’t have to be a breakthrough day.

Over time you will compile a substantial body of personal information in your inner work notebook.

Reflect on the fact that your personality must be finite, after all it lives in the realms of time and space. Every authentic remark and insight into your character is a step toward self-knowledge.

STEP 2: Watch yourself in social situations, when you’re alone, at work, in your primary love relationship and all the other environments, relationships and circumstances in which you act and function.

We tend to behave differently according to where we are and who we are with. Your personality is rich and diverse. There are so many sides to you. Sometimes you forget parts of yourself; sometimes you neglect certain parts and over-indulge others.

This exercise will help you to get in touch with all parts of yourself and work toward integration and wholeness.

STEP 3: As human beings we are always in one of three realms. Awake, asleep or dreaming. Now examine each one and study, compare and consider each one to see what you can learn about yourself.

Look also at the borders. The borderline between waking and sleeping, for example, is an extraordinarily potent time for accessing the unconscious. Enter into this with the excitement of new adventure and be open to new discoveries.

By the way, stop calling the waking experience your “real life.” Dreams have a reality of their own and since you will spend a substantial amount of you life in the dream world give it recognition and respect, because it also is real.

STEP 4: Self-observation is far harder than observing others, probably because it’s less challenging than observing ourselves and because we have become predominantly visual in our experience of the world. But this doesn’t mean that observing others is necessarily unhelpful to your inner work practice.

So, observe others. Choose someone at a party, in the street or at work and see how much you can learn about them through witnessing their body posture, their speed, their tone of voice, walking gait, functionality, general attitude. Do they speak using visual imagery, mental abstractions or touchy-feely terminology?

This will tell you a great deal about them. How do they react with others? Privately compile a set of information, a profile of them, until you have insights that are way beyond a glancing acquaintanceship. Now, the testing time: can you do the same with yourself?

STEP 5: Background assumptions and wallpaper beliefs are your moral suppositions, guiding principles and taken-for-granted expectations. They are like the water we swim in or the air we breathe.

Make them conscious. They were communicated to you by parents, teachers and authority figures, in domestic, educational and societal settings in your early life

They dictate your attitude to time, money, love, ambition, action, relationships, success and failure, and happiness. Bringing them to conscious awareness over time allows you to reconsider and make new empowered choices.

STEP 6: What do you do? What do you want? and What if your life purpose? For many of us there is a disparity between these three aspects of life. Can you see that, when they are in alignment and in correct proportion to each other, balance and success must surely ensue?

Make a chart: list your actions – working, relaxing, watching TV, reading, spending time with your family. List your needs and desires – I want to make money (how much?), I want to create a loving family environment, I want to learn to play a musical instrument. Finally, write down or explore your life purpose.

Now, as you do this you will start to notice discrepancies; things you want that you don’t allow yourself the time for, doing too much of this and not enough of that, procrastination, unreal expectations. Once you get the full picture, you may want to change it.

STEP 7: One of the most life-changing questions is, “What do I honor?” So, I ask it of you now. Spend a little time on it each day. Once you have refined your answer and it is accurate, heart-felt and true for you, live it everyday and make it your priority and the central theme of your life
