Mahjong Connect 2 Is a Unique Variation of the Original Game

Mahjong is a game that dates back to around two thousand years ago and originated in China. Historians propose that the game was invented somewhere near Shanghai. It is a well-known fact that Mahjong is a game which not only requires strategy, but also patience and a great demand on skills. Until the end of the eighteenth century, the game was only played in China. Later on, the game was adopted by their neighboring country, Japan. Since the game is considered royal, its exact evolution is not known.

By the time the game reached the western world, the Chinese already had different variations of the original version and it was hardly being played by the natives themselves. Mahjong Connect 2 bears some similarities to the original Mahjong game. There are a few differences; Mahjong Connect 2 has its own rules that set it apart from the original version of the game. Nevertheless, this game maintains the individuality of the parent game.

Conventionally, the game used a hundred and forty four pieces created from ivory. Conversely, since the ban of ivory used globally, they were no longer able to use ivory to create the pieces for the game. This meant that wooden tiles could serve as the next best option to ivory. Depending on the quality of the tile, the price will differ.

Mahjong Connect 2 usually consists of a hundred and forty tiles arranged in a certain shape. Basically, the arrangement is in such a manner that fourteen tiles will be arranged horizontally in rows, as well as having ten tiles arranged vertically in rows. Unlike the original game, the Mahjong Connect 2 game features all the tiles found in the complete set. Those tiles include flowers, dragons, and seasons among others. Mahjong Connect 2 has a few limitations of movement imposed on the players, such that a player has to match tiles within a limited number of movements. Take for example if a player wants to do away with a tile that is bordered by two other tiles on each side, they will first have to eliminate the adjoining tile before they get to the intended tile.

If you are going to play Mahjong Connect 2 games on a computer, the game is somewhat different. Usually, you play a game that is timed and in order to win the game, you will have to match all the tiles before your time is up. If you are looking for a game that will help challenge your brain activity, then Mahjong Connect 2 is the game for you.

SEO, Social Media and Online Reputation Management – The Trinity of Internet Marketing

Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media and Online Reputation Management (ORM) are sometimes confused, with the great number of people think that these three are same. Moreover, there is some obvious cross-over, the three have entirely different focuses and follow very different outcomes. Here, in this article, we are about to discuss a little more about their importance and uses.

It is said search engine optimization, online reputation management and social media are the trinity of internet marketing. Let us discuss a little about SEO, Social Media and ORM first.

Why Search Engine Optimization?

SEO is generally concerned about getting a website rank in search engines or to rank better for products and/or services related search terms. It is nothing but a process of increasing the chances of your website to be listed in the first page or first in the search results of popular search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, Bing and so forth.

  • Importance of SEO: It is a viable marketing outlet that can bring your business more qualified leads as well as customers. It can have better return on investment than traditional forms of marketing, for example television and/or print advertisement. It is good for business visibility and branding. SEO can bring traffic to business and give unmatched insight into customers.

Why Social Media Marketing?

Social media marketing is a bunch of techniques and strategies for promoting awareness of a brand, publication, product, etc. (the brand, publication or product can be personal or for business), on social media, particularly by encouraging the sharing of content that help attracts the end number of people to a specific website.

  • Importance Of Social Media: Social media sometimes used for marketing, especially for online marketing, then social media transformed its name as social media marketing. It can increase your brand awareness. Social media can help online marketing to validate the brands. When your company’s social media presence executed correctly, it tells customers that your company’s brand is active and focused on thriving communication with the customers. It provides a targeted way to promote your brand to your potential customers. It can boost traffic to your individual or business website, grow a huge community of fans and followers and can quickly generate new business. It can help your search ranking as well.

Why Online Reputation Management?

Online reputation management is about improving your personal or business name or good standing of your brand. This is by countering or eliminating the negative feedback found in the internet – defeating them with more positive feedback, comments or reviews to improve your credibility and customers’ trust on your name or brand.

  • Importance of ORM: Online reputation is your image on internet. In these days, online reputation has become imperative for business of all types for monitoring, identifying and influencing the digital reputation of brands. It is important and not just about protecting what you already have, but using your online reputation as a part of your marketing campaign to drive new business and increase sales.

The technology around us is developing at an exponential rate. At no point in human history have we had the real capability as both organizations as well as individuals to reach, engage, interact and connect with end number of people, locally and globally, and certainly in real time. Digital media has out and out transformed the concept of modern marketing, making it more condemnatory than ever for business organization and institutions both small and large to have a voice within the online realm.

Digital media and marketing, for instance, search engine optimization, social media marketing and online reputation management have proven its value to businesses of all sizes and types by offering the following powerful features.

  • Instant communication – Digital media and marketing allows real-time conversions between business and organizations and their customers and members.
  • Feedback – Businesses can get qualitative and quantitative information about the things going on the targeted market by engaging and requesting for feedback.
  • Advertising – Digital media provides a targeted way to promote your brand name to potential customers.

Benefits of Using SEO, Social Media and ORM

When it comes to increasing search ranking, promoting business and building positive awareness, they take lot of time and effort to build as well as maintain company’s online reputation. SEO, Social Media and ORM can give that. The benefits are:

  • Help increase traffic, i.e. visitors to the targeted website and exposure.
  • Encourage followers and fans.
  • Improve search ranking.
  • Build online reputation, build name and brand value.
  • Expand business and improve sales.
  • Give marketplace insight.
  • Build trust and credibility.

SEO and Social Media is not online reputation management. No doubt, reputation management services include SEO and social media component. But, when it comes to comprehensive online reputation management campaigns, SEO is far from the whole story. Let us take a look at the key differences of SEO, Social Media and Online Reputation Management.

To understand the basic differences of SEO, Social Media and ORM, we need to understand the buyers’ journey. The buyers’ journey consists of three important stages:

  • Awareness: The buyers can easily articulate a need or a problem, but not even aware of any possible solution. He or she likes to go to southeast Asia but may or may not have ideas where to stay or what to do there, so he or she can search for “destination in Southeast Asia,” “things to do in Southeast Asia,” etc.
  • Consideration: He or she now knows to have a week to spend and a specific budget in mind, but does need to create an itinerary, like the place to visit, thins to do, food to eat, things to buy etc. He or she searches for “things to do in Hong Kong” and “motels or restaurants in Shanghai”.
  • Decision: The buyer has an itinerary and needs to find particular providers in his or her destinations, like “Hyatt in Hong Kong,” “cable car in Hong Kong,” “CCTV Tower in Shanghai,” etc.

Last, but certainly not the least, online reputation management often uses what might be considered or something hardball tactics that fall outside the purview of conventional SEO and Social Media. Whether your business lives and dies by reviews on impactful online publications, then you need to optimize such sites properly and address those negative entries, like defamatory remarks, copied content, improper material etc. that you do not control.

The oolong tea is considered more powerful weapon in the fight against stomach cancer. A study in Shanghai, China, where oolong is consumed by more than 80% of tea drinkers, showed that oolong tea drinkers had a lower risk of stomach cancer than those who did not drink oolong tea. Oolong tea contains higher concentrations of polyphenols, anti-oxidative substances that can inhibit the formation and growth of a variety of tumors, including stomach cancer.

Best of all, polyphenols are known substances that remove free radicals from the body, thereby, enabling the body to fight against cancer.

2. Foils skin damage

Sometimes the best way to fend off skin damage is to get back to the basics. So toss your high-tech skin treatments aside and indulge in great-smelling, mouth-watering oolong tea. Moreover, these free radicals are known culprits for facilitating skin ageing. With oolong tea, you can definitely stop the ageing process by instilling polyphenols in the body, which in turn, delay the ageing process.

3. Cut down triglyceride level

Too-high triglyceride levels are another factor associated with a greater risk of heart disease especially when the count reaches 150 or above. This is even true in some people with total cholesterol levels of 150 or below. If you have already had a heart attack, you need to take an especially aggressive stand against these troublemakers by aiming for a target of 100 or below.

If your triglyceride score is too high, restrict saturated fat. Weight loss is particularly important in normalizing triglycerides. With the help of oolong tea, you can easily gain control in losing triglyceride because of its polyphenol content. This substance activates the enzyme that is in charge of melting fatty deposits known as triglycerides. Plus, oolong tea can facilitate fat metabolism within the body.

4. Lesser caffeine content

For those who want to enjoy an afternoon cup of hot drink, instead of coffee or any other type of tea, it is best that they drink oolong tea instead. Experts say that the caffeine content in oolong tea is half as much as that of the black tea and green tea.

Higher dosage of caffeine in the body tends to stimulate the sympathetic nervous system that manages the heart rate. This will, in turn, trigger heart palpitations.

So for healthy reasons, it is best to drink oolong tea. You may never know its health benefits unless you try.

The Ultimate Guide To Picking Up Asian Women

Ever since learning how to meet and attract women, I generally found that ‘Fresh off the boat’ (FOB for short) Asian women play by slightly different rules. So over my time ‘in the game’, I found what those differences were and played them to my advantage. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about picking up FOB Asian women but mind you that it’s still just a guide. Its meaningless if you don’t take action and give it a try.

We will first break up Asian women into three categories: Chinese, Japanese and Korean. From the untrained eye, all Asian women are alike and respond to a Western mans advances in the same way. Based on my extensive experiences however, I have found that there are some nuances that make the difference in your ability to meet and attract her.

So lets take a look at the different categories.

Chinese

If you meet them under ‘normal’ circumstances say at work, through friends or some other ‘normal’ medium of communicative exchange, meeting and befriending them is simple.

However if we are talking about cold approach pick up on the street or in the club then its a very different story. What you need to know about Chinese is that out of all of the Asian countries, they are the most closed off to meeting new people; especially foreigners. If you really want to meet Chinese girls in a club or at the shopping mall, your going to be playing a numbers game – no matter how good you are. Nonetheless, don’t let that stop you from trying.

Typical Chinese girls are very conservative but that differs on where they originally grew up in China. Here’s a list of different places in China from most conservative to least:

  1. General Mainland China (The further West you go the more conservative)
  2. Shanghai
  3. Hong Kong
  4. Macao
  5. Taiwan

Japanese

Whilst allot of Japanese ‘on the outside’ appear to be a very meek and shy to others, they are the country that defines Asian women’s obsession with white men – not Korea or China.

Japanese women are really fascinated with Westerners and are in my experience, extremely receptive to your advances. Realize that unlike Chinese or Korean women, they won’t blow you off if they don’t like you. Sometimes it may appear that they like but you may in fact be wasting your time simply because they are too polite to say they aren’t interested.

That being said, Japanese women are still really friendly and very open to meeting new people.

Korean

Korean women are very similar to Japanese but the biggest difference is that they aren’t just going to go for you just because your a Westerner.

Notes – Please note though that just like in Western culture, every girl is different and doesn’t fit into a uniform mold.

How To Pick Them Up

If you have experience picking up girls in general, picking up Asian women is the same concept but you factor in some differences.

A Lesson on Sincerity

A big fundamental that you must apply for picking up Asian women is being sincere.

Sincerity is arguable the most important concept when it comes to successfully picking up girls but its applies 100 fold to Asian women. Sincerity is basically being 100% congruent with the way your feeling in any given moment. Don’t try and act cool, over the top or even confident – especially if your not feeling it.

This is actually just a re-hash of the whole ‘be yourself’ cliché.

Something you can do is this; when you try to pick up an Asian girl and your feeling a bit nervous, say “sorry, I’m a bit nervous; I’m not good at this” or “I know I’m a bit shy but I think I’d like to get to know you better. We should grab some coffee sometime”.

You might worry that an Asian girl doesn’t like an unconfident dweeb but an unconfident dweeb who acts 100% himself is more likely to get the girl than the braggadocios, overly macho, arrogant guy. Whenever your chick friends, mum or sister requited to you, “just be yourself”, whenever you told them your girl problems – they weren’t trying to lead you astray, it is actually solid advice.

Level With Her Shyness

Another thing to note is that Asian women are naturally more shy and introverted than Western Women.

When us Westerners roll into a club filled with other Westerners, its natural to act more alpha, more dominant and more confident because its what Western women respond to.

However doing this with Asian women is pushing it too far. Talk with her in the way you would talk with a 4 year old girl. Overall your very gentle and you do as much as you can to make her feel comfortable with you.

Be the ‘BFG’ (aka the Big Friendly Giant)

I’m not just making reference to your physical size but also your handsomeness, general level coolness and even your level of English.

I never see handsome and cool Western guys holding hands with shy little, nerdy Chinese girls, however I do see skinny and nerdy Western guys with them.

What does this tell you?

Do you have to be a shy, unconfident and nerdy to get these girls? No, just try tone down your natural confidence and realize that these girls respond differently to Western girls your used to dating. Be meek, pretend to be a bit shy and even a bit cheesy at times. However don’t be patronizing otherwise you will appear creepy.

Just try and level with her shyness as much as possible.

Cliff Notes

  1. Chinese are super conservative
  2. Japanese are very open
  3. Be sincere in your approach
  4. Be very gentle
  5. Level with her

The Secret To Great Pizza Is The Right Pizza Oven

Everyone knows that pizza is just dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings. With only seven basic ingredients and a pizzeria on every corner from here to Shanghai, why is it so hard to find a good slice of pizza? The experts will tell you that right after quality ingredients and the right recipe, the most important factor in making a good pizza is the right pizza oven.

Anyone who plans to make the real thing should take some time to shop around at catering equipment shops researching the kinds of ovens for sale. This will make a huge difference in the final product. While the very best is a wood-fired brick oven, the sad truth is that most shops don’t have the space, time, or the capital to invest in one. Not to worry, however, there are several other good pizza ovens out there.

Within the spectrum of commercial kitchen equipment, there are basically two kinds of commercial oven suitable for making high quality pizza: a deck oven and a convection oven. The deck oven most closely imitates an open wood fire. These can be gas or electric, hard wired, or a portable oven. They work by heating up a stone shelf or shelves which cook the pizza crust from underneath. Ambient heat inside the oven melts the cheese and cooks the toppings. While these ovens are often quite large, a counter top oven can be used for small volume restaurants or for reheating. One brand that comes highly recommended time after time is blodgett ovens.

While a convection oven is less than authentic, many shop owners will appreciate that it cooks faster and uses less energy than other methods. Using a fan to circulate hot air, these are the most efficient ovens you can buy. While industrial sized ovens are available, a counter top convection oven is the most frequently used in pizzerias.

Anyone starting up a pizza business will want to spend some time researching which pizza oven for sale best meets their needs as well as their budget. After you have decided what kind of pizza equipment is most suitable, you will also need to decide between an electric or a gas oven. Obviously everyone has to worry about the bottom line, but keep in mind that a pizza is only as good as the oven it is cooked in. While industrial ovens are a big expense, a good oven will profoundly affect both the quality of the food you serve, as well as the speed and efficiency with which your cooks can work. It is always advisable to buy the best oven you can afford for that authentic pizza taste. Good luck and buon appetito!

Qualities of a Good Guitar Teacher

Have you mastered the art of strumming the guitar and now wish to become a guitar teacher? Or are you looking for a guitar teacher to teach you how to play the guitar? No matter in which part of the world you are, whether in Singapore, Shanghai or Switzerland, there are certain qualities which a good guitar teacher needs to have.

1. Patience

One quality which a guitar teacher needs to have is lots of patience. You need to remember that whomever you are coaching do not have music background. During the guitar lesson, your student may be slow in picking up strumming techniques. Try to slow down your teaching pace and guide your student along so that he can catch up on the lesson.

2. Wide genre

A good guitar teacher needs to be able to play and teach a wide repertoire of songs. Whether it be the rhythm and blues, jazz, pop, rock, or church music, you need to know the various techniques required for each of these genres. Different people wish to learn to play the guitar for different reasons. Some just want to play as a hobby, others want to master the skill to jam with friends, some other people wish to perform in church. As such to be a versatile music teacher, you not only need to know these different genre of playing, it would help if you collect a range of scores to teach your students as well.

3. Adaptability/ Creativity

To be an effective guitar teacher, you need to adapt to your student’s requirements. Some students have a short timeframe whereby they wish to accomplish a fixed goal. Let me give you an example from my music school. One day, John came to our school and informed us that he wishes to learn to play one song on the guitar in four weeks time. He aims to perform that song during his wedding! Our music teacher listened to his request and tailors his music lesson content accordingly.

In addition, you need to be creative and be able to motivate your students through creative and inspirational methods of teaching. Create different teaching approaches so you stand out from other music teachers. Be unique! Once you stand out from the crowd of many music teachers, your students will seek you out.

Some other students wish to build a strong foundation in music theory, before proceeding to chord harmonizing and strumming. As a music teacher, you then need to adapt to this request and structure your lessons accordingly.

Well, I have covered three key elements as qualities a guitar teacher should have. Good luck!
