LG 47LW7700 Review

The LG 47LW7700 has been identified as the company’s Nano LED flat-panel 3-D television. The monitor has been improved upon with the inclusion of local dimming technologies; this set is identified as a nano LED television due to the inclusion of a film overlay placed upon the glass panel so that LED lighting is evenly dispersed when the television is in operation. The inclusion of this nanotechnology has ensured that while wearing 3-D glasses a user will find that the images presented on the television set are still vivid and bright. The nano feature of this set, of course, is not its only appealing feature.

The LG 47LW7700 sports a 47 inch display when measured from one opposing corner to the other. The exterior housing of this television set is jet black with a high gloss finish. It has gently rounded corners giving it a smooth appearance. The body of the set is rectangular in shape. This is a wall mountable TV, however, it is also sold with a matching base. The base has a rectangular bottom that is also jet black. The neck of the base is clear and cube-like. All connectivity options are placed on the backside of the television set, while a few minor controls for operating the device are found on the lower right hand corner on the front panel.

The LG 47LW7700 is equipped with a 240 Hz refresh rate, an ultra slim, 1 inch thick framework, and this device is capable of converting 2-D images to 3-D presentations. This high definition television comes with a variety of picture controls, expansive calibrations, edge light technologies, and the entire device can be operated with a magic wand-like, infrared remote control. With this flat-panel offering users can access in-house applications, Netflix®, the Internet, NetCast®, and Smart TV®. The set is sold with a Wi-Fi® dongle for easy connectivity. The set has a maximum, native resolution equaling 1080 pixels. It is DLNA compliant; it comes with energy saving modes for the environmentally conscious consumer, and its range of features make it impressive all-around.

The nano technologies included in this television set remedy any bands of uneven lighting; this will ensure high quality image presentations in every instance. The superfast 240 Hz refresh rate further ensures that television viewers get flawless imagery presented with this high definition offering. This particular set has also undergone rigorous testing in order to become THX certified for 2-D to 3-D conversion. The panel on this device has antireflective properties so viewing at any angle is a breeze.

The LG 47LW7700 offering gives viewers access to things like net cast, Netflix®, Hulu Plus®, MLB.TV®, NBA Game Live®, Hulu Plus®, Amazon on Demand®, and NHL Gamecenter®; clearly this device diversifies the user’s television viewing options. The new nanotechnology added onto this device guarantee high-quality image presentations, and as always, LG has included advanced sound technologies for a superior soundscape. It is clear that the company has made every effort to instill brand-new innovations both inside and outside the LG 47LW7700.

Common Installation Problems With McAfee

McAfee antivirus products are the most reliable and dependable security solutions across the world. However, like other security solutions, McAfee antivirus programs have their share of problems too. This article discusses some of the common McAfee installation problems and their solutions. These include antivirus software validation failure, unsuccessful installation, missing file, computer hangs during the procedure, and update issues or Common Update Error after installation among others. Check the below mentioned free McAfee installation support guide for tips on troubleshooting the installation problems.

Instructions:

Make sure that you log in as an administrator to your computer. Download and install the latest updates for your Windows computer before installing a McAfee product. Also, make sure that you remove your existing security software (if you are running one on your computer) before installing the software. Remember, two security programs always conflict with each other and may cause your computer to hang other than making each other inoperable.

Firewall often creates problems during the installation. So, if you are running a firewall program like ZoneAlarm, turn it off. You can turn it back on after installation. Do not forget to configure your firewall program to allow the McAfee software to run properly. Besides, always check whether your computer meets the minimum system requirements to install McAfee or not. It helps you avoid facing McAfee installation problems during the installation procedure.

If the explorer.exe crashes making your computer freeze after launching the McShield service, use this method. Reboot your computer in Safe Mode. When the computer starts, immediately start tapping the F8 key. Keep pressing the key until you see the boot menu. Select Safe Mode and hit the Enter key. When done, click the Start button and select Run. Type ‘msconfig’ (without quotes) in the Open field and hit Enter again. When in System Configuration Utility, click the Services tab. disable McAfee Framework Service, Network Associates McShield, and Network Associates Task Manager by deselecting the boxes next to them. Click the OK button and restart your computer.

Now open your web browser and visit the McAfee website. Look for the latest patch file (update) for your McAfee version and download it. Save and run the file. When done, open the Run utility again and run the ‘msconfig’ command. Click the General tab in the System Configuration Utility window. Click the button next to Normal Startup – load all device drivers and services. Click the Apply button and then OK to save the changes and close the window. When prompted, confirm the action and reboot your computer.

If you get a Common Update Error message after installing McAfee antivirus, it indicates that the installation is damaged due to a newly installed update. Uninstall McAfee antivirus completely from your computer. Go to Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel, select the McAfee Security Center or Enterprise (whatever your product’s name is) and click the Change/Remove button. When prompted, confirm the action. Select the components that you want to remove and hit the Remove button. Wait for the process to finish. When done, reboot your computer.

When done, insert your McAfee antivirus setup disk in the disk drive and wait for the automatic prompt to appear. Follow the on-screen prompts as you did previously, but carefully and finish the installation. Make sure that you enter each and every piece of information correctly wherever required. Select your custom features and configure the settings. When done, reboot your computer and get going.

In case you continue to face problems during the McAfee install, contact McAfee technical support or McAfee product support.

How’s Your ‘Now’?

Sure you want cars, house and lot, and profit-generating businesses in the future. And I’m certain you’ve been working day and night to achieve your long-term goals – but there are a few things you could be missing in the process – your ‘now’. How does your ‘now’ look like? I have a few guesses:

1. Enjoying your daily hours of deluxe stay on a bus/van/train, while Facebook, Netflix, Spotify, or YouTube is on a roll, during your commute to and from the office. Take note of “hours”.

2. Staying on your toes online for the next piso fare to the place where you’ve been wanting to go to, on gosh-knows when, probably months or years from now when typhoons usually visit PAR. I’m sure by now you already know that PAR means Philippine Area of Responsibility.

3. Binge-watching your favorite shows online during weekends, if, and only if, you do not have a shift or homework. Would have been lovely if the internet connection has been solid too, but hey, who cares?

4. Waiting for the long weekends to meet with or treat your family or friends from miles away, to eat or go window shopping – something you’ve been doing repeatedly for quite some time now.

5. Chatting with doctor stranger about your whatever-it-is-this-time condition secondary to selective amnesia, making you forget that you’re not a machine. And that, yes, we have to drink water and find time to pee!

Dude, it is time to break the ice and do something new and cool. Make things happen for your ‘now’s sake. Find time for things you usually just ‘like’ on social media, while you still have the desire and energy. I certainly do not have a complete list, and yours may be more or less weird than these stuff, but go take a glance at what I have in mind as far as the #MakeItHappen list is concerned.

1. Buy that freaking branded bag or pair of shoes. And if you’re thinking of keeping it sealed at home because you think it is too pricy to use, then you probably should just print a photo of it and keep in your wallet. Use it, buddy! Its price should speak for its quality. And tearing it is still way better than not using it at all.

2. Announce that surprise treat for your family or friends. Drag them to a buffet or a nice hotel which could house all of you for a while. It will be unforgettable, and will definitely make you feel good, especially if you’ve never done this before. I have a feeling this will be your friends’ favorite item on this list.

3. Use your vacation leave credits and take your family to Bohol. No specific reason for choosing Bohol – I would just love to see the chocolate hills myself. But there’s a lot to see here in our very own country before you even think of flying abroad.

4. Go for a movie marathon, only this time, try hopping from one cinema to another in one day. And leave your mobile phones at home, please!

5. Enroll for an online class be it a short course or an actual degree. If you do not think studying is close to making it up with your ‘now’, then just pick from 1 to 4.

Not motivated enough to make things actually happen for your ‘now’? Just ask your ‘past’ how he was – nope, not referring to your ex.

Cutting The Cord Without Decreasing Your Entertainment

Are you currently looking for an effective way to get rid of your cable subscription? In the past few years, some new alternatives have emerged. These are viable and will allow you to maintain your entertainment, while also saving money! Of course, only one of these options will be right for your particular situation. Below, you will be able to find a breakdown of these options.

Sling TV or KlowdTV

Some demand live television! Unfortunately, there aren’t many ways to watch live television online, without breaking the law. SlingTV and KlowdTV are two excellent options. KlowdTv is a little new to the game, but is quickly establishing itself as a leader. It offers a small number of channel options, but these can be purchased separately, which is definitely cool.

SlingTv is bigger and bolder. With this streaming service, you can watch all kinds of awesome channels, including AMC, SundanceTV and even HBO. Unfortunately, some have reported performance issues with the company’s service. However, they have improved their servers in the past few months, so they’re consistently getting better.

On-Demand Services

Also, there are many on-demand streaming services, such as NetFlix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Instant Video. Each of these is absolutely wonderful in their own way. As far as new content goes, Hulu offers the most current, but the other two are great alternatives. Each provides original content and some of the shows, including Orange Is The New Black, Moone Boy and Transparent, are great. If you happen to shop frequently with Amazon, you really should consider becoming a Prime Member.

This will save you money on shipping, allow you to receive your items more rapidly and give you access to hundreds of movies and television shows for free. Regardless of your choice, each option is significantly cheaper than any package offered by the majority of cable providers around the country.

Consider An Antenna

If you’re interested in cutting the cord all together, you could install an antenna in your home. You’ll need an over-the-air antenna. Thankfully, they’re fairly inexpensive. Take note that these antennas are no longer massively large like they used to be. Instead, they’re small and compact. In fact, the majority of them will rest on your television stand and won’t be too much of an eye-sore.

With over-the-air- antennas, it is possible to receive twenty or thirty channels for free. The quality and quantity of these channels will depend on your location, as well as the quality of the antenna selected. Still, for twenty or thirty dollars, you’ll never have to pay for cable ever again and that is a wonderful thought.

Overall

At the end of the day, there are plenty of viable options out there and you will definitely want to consider them all. By utilizing one or more, you will be able to enjoy your favorite shows and movies at home, without shelling out fifty, sixty or more dollars a month for hundreds of channels that you’ll never watch!

R Is for Rest in Triathlon Training

You need rest in your triathlon training to be successful and to achieve all of your goals. Even professional triathletes need rest in their training. I have even heard of triathletes attempting to maintain 10-12 hours of sleep per night. For most of us, this is not feasible with our family, work, and training schedules. I know that rest seems counter intuitive for better results. It seems that you should push your body to it limits everyday and see your gains come through this type of training. The issue is that you will burn out before you see your ultimate potential.

REST AT NIGHT

One of the critical areas of rest is to get enough sleep at night. Triathletes need 8-10 hours of sleep per night. I know, I know that seems impossible. In fact with 4:00 am wake up calls there never seems to be enough time to sleep. I suggest trying to get to bed as early as possible avoiding some of those things that keep you up like TV, Facebook, Netflix, video games, and others. This will help your training from day to day. If you do not sleep enough you will increase your chances for injury and burnout.

REST DURING TRAINING

Triathletes want to train and they want to get better. They strive for more and more training to increase speed and strength. However, sometimes you hit the wall. Many triathletes are type A individuals who live off of a checklist. So, if there is a workout scheduled for a certain day they will get it done no matter what. So whenever you hit the wall you may have to take day off. I have found this to be incredibly difficult to do unless I am throwing up. However, I know that sometimes I just have to take a day of rest.

REST THROUGH PERIODIZATION

You cannot train for months on end without a break without experiencing some amazing difficulties such as injury and burnout. So, you need to determine when a race is approaching and count back from that date and set up a 10-12 week training plan. The other time needs to be spent in lower heart rate training developing your aerobic base, working on form and skills, and RESTING! You need to rest some in your training outside of preparing for a race. This will help your mental as well as physical state.

If you want to see the big gains in triathlon and get to the top, make sure to rest well.

Idiot Box, Not So Idiot Anymore

Remember that square-shaped box resting on the table of your living room? When you switch it on, it would show you either some of the most brain-picking news or any other piece of monotonous video clip. That’s what this idiot box was all about in the early times.

Thankfully, the idiot-box is not so idiot anymore and nor are the TV shows that it telecasts today. Thanks to Mr. Philo Farnsworth for the invention of the modern television who certainly bought a sigh of relief to all those individuals who would otherwise get bored of doing almost anything and everything that they have been doing to kill their so-called boredom.

The invention of modern television and the TV shows is smart for sure. The nightly practice of settling into your couches and gluing yourself to your favorite television shows is the biggest leisure activity that you would find for yourself in the present times.

A worthy evolution of the idiot-box

From its body-structure to the shows that it telecasts – everything about the telly has become bigger as well as better. The beautiful plasma or a flat screen TV doesn’t only let you watch your shows in better quality, but the same looks good in your living room as well (trivial, indeed). Gone are the days of a glitch situation of cable connections where you would want to get your television connected to a cable operator to further enjoy your TV shows into it. Digitalization of television and furthermore the apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime video have evolved the entire way in which any person would want to entertain himself in front of the television.

TV shows that are worth your time:

Not only has the idiot-box evolved in terms of its structure and technical upgrade, but the same has evolved in context of its TV shows as well. Today, there are a variety of programs watching which you can entertain yourself to the very core. The categories like news, movie, music, knowledge and infotainment, etc. are bringing new dynamics to this entire idea with each passing days. Furthermore, the quality of shows has improved drastically. Needless to say that the shows like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory, Friends, Narcos, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, etc. have gathered an immense fan-following among the global audience. The craze of these shows has increased so much that the audience are not just watching them, but living them till the very eternity.

Know some amazing facts about the idiot box

Do you know that the inventor of the modern television, Philo Farnsworth wouldn’t let his kids watch the TV? Do you know the most expensive advertisement ever made was that of program and it starred none other than Nicole Kidman? This ad was priced at $33 million. The average person in the United States spends 15 years of his life in watching the TV. Although most people dream in colors, the people who grew up watching black and white TV tend to dream in black and white.

Now that you have known much about the idiot box, go enjoy watching your favorite show now!

DVD Business – Dynamite Video Distribution

The catch-line “Now on DVD” is quickly becoming a marketing cliché for the entertainment industry. How many commercials have you seen lately that advertise new DVD products? How did this obsession start and is it making money? Have DVDs really replaced watching movies on traditional VHS cassettes? Let’s take a closer look at this explosive phenomenon from a business perspective.

First of all, in case you’re wondering, DVD (also known as Digital Versatile Disc) is a compact disc format for storing data. It ranges from capacities of 1.3 to 15.3 gigabytes (the equivalent of 1 to 6 hours of video). It’s the successor of the SD (Super Density) CDs, a format from which DVD evolved.

When CD-ROMs first came out, everyone abandoned the old magnetic tapes (audio cassettes) and began mass-producing music on Compact Disc. Listening to your music on a CD had its advantages. Songs could be put on separate tracks, which made skipping certain parts easier and more convenient. The average CD today can store up to 70 minutes of high-quality audio. The age of rewinding was gone!

Now movies, music-videos, sitcoms, and documentaries are all being released on DVDs. Yesterday we had Blockbuster, today we have Netflix. What happened to the entertainment industry? Apparently they’ve gone digital!

So, digital is in, magnetic is out. Some of you might be wondering how this all started and how it affects businesses in the entertainment industry today. Well, DVD version 1.5 was first released in September 1996. The first feature motion picture release on DVD, the movie Twister, came out the following year. During that time there was no online, single disc, medium that could store digital video of that quality and length. Standard MPEG compressions couldn’t allow a full-length movie to fit on the regular compact discs – which maintained an average 600-650 MB capacity at the time.

After the success of DVD format the world began to see a flux in video distribution. So who’s responsible for all of this? While there is no one person or entity that took on the role of creating DVD there are a few companies and engineers who can be traced back to the earliest development of the technology. Philips and Sony who joined forces with Toshiba, led by Lou Gerstner (President of IBM), created this resilient, high-density, optical storage standard now called DVD. Soon an entire fleet of companies began developing DVD players for consumers at affordable prices.

It’s clear that DVDs have many advantages over their predecessors – VHS cassettes – such as their growing copyright protection technologies. Now DVDs are harder to pirate than any other media. They’re also far more accessible. Most computers sold today come equipped with DVD readers/writers and even video game consoles have incorporated the format. The average DVD player, currently on the market, sells for about $35.

So motion picture features now rely more on their DVD sales revenues than what the box office brings. For example, the movie ‘Master and Commander’, staring Russell Crowe, cost $175 million to make, but only generated $94 million from its ticket sales. It seems that the cinema trend we have been so accustomed to is forcing businesses to shift their marketing strategies in order to make a profit on these large-scale productions.

It isn’t at all uncommon to see blockbuster movies sell more in DVDs than theaters. Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring made $498 million in DVD sales and only $314 million in theaters. Finding Nemo also made $30 million more in its DVD revenues. Even some small-scale productions are making big bucks from their DVDs.

Marketing tactics like ‘The Complete Trilogy on DVD’ and ‘Limited DVD Edition’ are used to lure consumers into owning different versions of the same movie. DVDs are marketed to be sold rather than rented and so the revenues surpass that of any VHS movie. Now producers can release dozens of different versions of their movie on DVD. Some include added bonuses like unused footage, exclusive interviews, a behind the scenes look, unrated releases, big-screen adaptations, and trailers.

Where is this going and how far can it get? It seems that DVD has not only replaced VHS cassettes, which are no longer the release format for new movies, but it’s also replacing theaters. Now people are building their own home-entertainment systems and turning their living rooms into the big-screen. It isn’t difficult with modern home-theater kits and affordable online rentals from companies like Netflix.

Netflix now holds approximately 65,000 DVD titles, renting them to more than 5 million people across the United States, and generates $688 million in revenues. It’s the largest online DVD rental service in the world and it takes a huge bite out of the $25 billion chunk that makes up the DVD industry.

Yet Netflix isn’t the only one trying to get a piece of the pie. Even McDonalds took a test drive in the DVD seat when it launched its DVD kiosk rental system in Washington, Las Vegas, and Denver. The world is growing more DVD hungry and businesses seem to be adapting themselves to the consumers’ demands.

Is Your Password Secure Enough?

There is a good reason why Netflix warns users to change their passwords. When successful giants like LinkedIn, Google, eHarmony, Yahoo and many more have had problems with security breaches and cracked passwords, one should seriously consider creating a stronger password. In this new era of cybercrime, no one is safe from potential hack attacks and keyloggers. Typing "incorrect" or "I don't know" as passwords may be humorous to some, but they are extremely insecure. And security is, by no means, a laughing matter. If you think those passwords are bad, check out this list of the 10 worst, and insecure, passwords on the internet *:

  1. 123456 (# 1 for the 3rd straight year)
  2. password (# 2 for the 3rd straight year)
  3. 12345
  4. 12345678
  5. football
  6. qwerty
  7. 1234567890
  8. 1234567
  9. princess
  10. 1234

Of course there are methods of creating a more secure password, but still, concerning massive digital breaches lately, we can do more than just steering clear of the "popular" cliché's like "qwerty123" or "loveme123456". Six letter passwords do not withstand high-quality cracking software either. So here are a few things to consider when making your password more secure:
Length and complexity
In this fast-paced digital era, today's computers are extremely quick and efficient, compared to machines of a decade ago. This means it is much easier today for a cyber criminal or hacker to make quick work out of an unsuspecting victim's professional or personal info. Millions of password leaks are being reported consistently, yet so many simply refuse to understand why password length and complexity are so important.

A minimum of eight characters in a password is considered, in some circles, to be sufficient. But we recommend that you consider 16 to 20 characters, or more. One should make easy-to-remember sentence passwords, random phrases or even song lyrics as it should be more than enough for tighter security for your networks and devices.

Thinking outside the box is key. Even if popular articles suggest unique ideas for your password, it is not a good idea to take them for granted. Invent your own pattern which only you will remember. Hackers tend to keep updated on latest trends. They are informed about popular patterns and will be more than happy to try out these password hints.

Password patterns
There are a lot of Star Wars fans in the world with solid knowledge of the franchise and universe. Hackers know this. They also know that "maytheforcebewithyou", for example, is a common estimate when attempting to hack someone's password.

Master Yoda would recommend using the standard mixture of upper-case characters, symbols and numbers. However, this practice is complex and you should not use the same difficult password with all your accounts. If thieves get their hands on one password, you can bet they will use it on your other accounts.

Additionally, a 2013 research study for Federal Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, by Korelogic reports that there is a common pattern in the upper-case, symbol, and number passwords that people use. The pattern goes like this: first character is upper-case, followed by 5 or 6 lowercase, then 3 numbers or year of birth. The common mistakes are putting a first upper-case letter, ending the password with an exclamation mark and not scattering the numbers between the characters.

Our advice would be to utilize a multiple word phrase with approximately 16 characters, or more, made up of random words. For example, "correcthorsebatterystaple", which is comprised of four common english words, but considered so random that in order for any hacking script to try and decipher it, 550 years with 1000 guesses per second would be needed. **

Are You Writing your passwords down?
Notepads won't cut it either. Unique passwords are tough, so people typically write them down. Many people make the mistake of leaving notes with credit card passwords in their wallet or in a drawer. While cyber thieves don't have the technology to access your bits of paper, your family members, roommates, colleagues, maintenance personnel and others do. And this probably goes against most businesses security best practices.

This is where password manager programs can help. The simple software utilizes a Master Password method of keeping your invaluable passwords with a single phrase. One can build extremely secure and unique passwords and will only need to remember one password to retrieve them. Programs like 1Password, Keepass, Dashlane, LastPass, Sticky Password and others, can save precious info and ultimately, time and money.

Changing your password
It should be noted that this is not exactly the most proper method for dealing with cyber breaches. Changing it every 2-3 months is not always the best idea because you will have to remember each and every password. You should only change your password if there has been a massive security breach on the website or service, so you should stay updated on the latest news.

Security questions are just as important. The strongest password can and will crumble because of a weak security answer. The questions usually are your mother's maiden name, the city you were born in, and catastrophe can occur if hackers have this info. All of which can be easily obtained by Facebook or other leftover info on social media, depending by your privacy settings.

Taking things in account
To sum up, there is no foolproof method of creating an absolutely secure password. We can only make the effort to strengthen these passwords and protect our networks and vital information.

– Always make unique passwords with memorable combinations of words, symbols and numbers that do not resemble the common patterns like "Doolittle1982!", Or "7LittlePiglets #".

  • Always use long, 16-character passwords which are complex enough but easy to remember
  • Never type your name, address, or year in your password
  • Consider using a password manager
  • Unless you're living alone, do not write down passwords on sticky notes
  • Avoid using 12345 number string combinations
  • Avoid using the Top 25 Worst Passwords, according to SlashDot

Metaphors Gone Wild: Cliffs and Patterns

Author Kurt Vonnegut once gave this advice to those with a creative bent: "We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down." Yes, there is risk-taking involved in exploring new territory, but how else can we developing our metaphoric wings?

Here are tips for making that exhilarating leap.

INVOLVE ALL YOUR SENSES
Not only should you enhance your receptivity to sensory input – sights, sounds, smells, taste, and feel – you can try various combinations. The late Gregory Hines, for example, once revealed that he developed tap routines by listening to the ordinary sounds coming his way as he walked down New York City streets. Nature itself is an inspiration – just ask any plein air painter. And, if you watch "Chef's Table" on Netflix, you know the culinary masters want to figure out how to make a dessert float, or how to capture the smell of spices in a pillow placed at the guest's table.

Trying expressing ideas in words not usually associated with a given sense. (You'll find metaphors coming in handy here.) For example, if you could taste anger, would it taste like salt on your tongue or vanilla ice cream. If you could feel it, would it feel like sandpaper or velvet?

EXPAND YOUR THINKING
One of the best ways to stimulate new thought is to ask "What if …" questions. For example, "What if women ruled the world?" Then, consider what the consequences of such a reality would involve. One result might be toilet seats that are more often down than up. When faced with a personal problem or a work-related one, give thought to new possibilities with questions related to the situation.

TOLERATE CONFUSION
Research has repeatedly shown that creative individuals have a higher tolerance for confusion than most of us do. When you are tempted to stop cerebral storms because you feel overwhelmed, allow the thoughts to continue bombarding each other inside your head. Being too orderly or too organized may stop us in our tracks when we should, in fact, be moving forward toward a given destination.

HAVE SELF-IMPOSED LIMITS
Just for fun, once in a while, set some limits. The heightened awareness can easily produce some surprising results. So, see how many sentences you can produce that have only five words. The first word must start with an A; the second with a B; the third with a C; the fourth, with a D; and the last word, with an E. An example might be "Any boy can develop enlightenment." The sentences don't have to be profound, but they must have no repeated words – within a given sentence and within the whole collection of sentences. If you can create 20+ sentences in a five-minute period, you have genius potential.

In a famous hiring situation, applicants were asked to work in groups to come up with 30 ways to improve a bathtub in five minutes. The second aspect of the challenge was to have one person removed from the team and to come up with 30 ways (with repeating any) to improve a bathtub in only four and a half minutes. The second list often had better ideas than the first.

PATTERN YOUR THOUGHTS ON YOURSELF
There is no one quite like you in all the world. Extend this uniqueness to the development of new concepts. Avoid the old patterns, for – as creativity guru Edward de Bono tells us: "Without creativity, there would be no progress, and we would be forever repeating the same patterns."

Is Project Payday Legit? A Project Payday Review

What Is Project Payday?

For everyone looking for a way to make money from home or online and think Project Payday is the way to do it, this is for you. Project Payday is an online opportunity that offers people money for filling out short surveys for different companies and referring others to do the same. You’ve probably seen the ads online offering the free Xbox, iPod or other ‘gift’ for completing a survey.

How Do You Get Paid In Project Payday?

Project Payday uses IFWs to promote the surveys and gift offers. An IFW is an Incentive Freebee Website, meaning a template website provided to you for promoting these surveys and gifts. There are two methods to make money on these sites.

Method 1 – You can make money at these sites by filling out the surveys. It seems kind of shady at first because you have to use a credit card to fill out the surveys and have to pay, for example, $10 to complete a specific number of surveys. So, you pay $10 but get $15 once the surveys are filled out, which is usually deposited into a PayPal account of yours. The money you make comes from a rep involved in Project Payday. The rep is required to pay you to take the survey. The rep needs to get a certain amount of surveys done before he receives a payment from Project Payday. Each survey that is filled out earns Project Payday money from the company that made the survey (Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly, etc). The money earned is in turn used to pay the reps that are promoting the surveys.

Method 2 – Be a rep. You can earn money by promoting these surveys. To do that you need to join Project Payday as a rep which costs $34.95 for a lifetime membership. They say there is a way to join for free, which isn’t exactly true. You simply fill out a survey for one of the companies and at the end buy the product they are promoting like Netflix for example. So, you technically didn’t pay Project Payday for the membership, Netflix did, but there is still a cost involved. Once your a member you can promote the surveys to earn money. They offer you different way’s of doing this through forums and the IFWs. So, you will be required to pay people to take surveys in hopes you will get enough people to do it to receive a payment from PPD, which is usually not to difficult if you do the work.

Is Project Payday A Scam

Project Payday is not a scam. It has earned money for people and is usually easy enough for people to follow. But, you are working with small profit margins, so it is usually hard to earn a lot of money. You usually won’t make large amounts of money, in fact it says it right on the first page of the website “we guarantee that you will NOT get rich with Project Payday”. I must admit I do love the honesty though. The company says they are not a get rich quick scam but instead offer a way for the ‘average joe’ to make a little extra money in their spare time.

Conclusion – Can It Work For You

PPD does offer a legitimate way to earn a few bucks if your interested in spending time promoting online. But, if your the kind of person that is interested in earning a significant income online and not just a few extra bucks there are plenty of other legitimate opportunities to look into. If your going to spend time promoting online anyway, as is the case with PPD, why not do it promoting something that can offer you a significant residual income and time freedom once you have put it in place.
