Seven Benefits of Internet Forums

Internet forums are wonderful places to be, especially as an Internet marketer. If you join forums in your niche, then be sure to benefit so much, especially when you try as much as you can to be active in the forums. Just take a look at the following benefits:

– Free Knowledge: In forums you have access to knowledge worth some real money for free. Forum members are ever willing to share their knowledge and experience with others, and you can, especially as a newbie, benefit from these free knowledge.

– Cost Saving: You are saved cost by having some things that you would ordinarily spend money to achieve given you for free by your forum members. When I was to publish my first site, I had some difficulties. Yet I had it published by a member of one of the forums I belong. I would have spent so much money to have someone else do it for me.

– Mentorship: Forum members provide a form of mentorship to newbies. There are those in every forum who are ever willing and ready to offer you help in every topic. And from there you can even develop a lasting business relationship with some of the gurus in the industry.

– Opportunity to build credibility: Forums offer you the opportunity to build credibility and establish yourself as a guru in the Industry where you operate. If you are the open-minded type that will always offer help to people, especially the newbies, you will soon be seen as a guru and an established expert in the Industry. The idea here is for you to always be willing and ready to offer useful help to people.

– Opportunity to advertise your products: The forums have sections where you can advertise your products for free. This is also another way of saving you cost. You also have the opportunity of advertising yourself.

– Early Guidance: I was in warrior forum and saw forum members discussing a particular product that was bought by some of them and found out that the product was just nonsense, and worse still, when they asked for refund as promised by the product owner, he said their guarantee was just for thirty days and that the time to ask for refund was over. This issue actually came up because somebody in the forum wanted to buy this product and wanted to inquire from the forum members whether to go ahead with the purchase or not. After all he heard about the product, I’m sure no charm in this world would make him want to buy any product from this owner.

– Source of Motivation: You can easily see people who will give you the motivation and encouragement you need to keep on in your business and eventually succeed. It is great to have people of like minds and in the same business line who are willing to co-operate with you and help in building you up. Remember that iron sharpeneth iron.

These are some of the benefits of joining Internet forums. And if you are yet to join one, I wonder what it is you are still waiting for.

Internet Banking Security Now More Enhanced

Guarantees against online fraud are what most consumers look for in internet banking services. As money is a major consideration here, they just want the best protection for their savings and investments. Regardless of whether they’re banking in a brick and mortar institution that has gone online or an online-only bank, consumers demand security.

Banks are working hard to convince customers to try internet banking. Security features of internet banking services are now more advanced giving customers every reason to bank through the internet for added convenience and a lot more benefits. With the ever improving internet technology, anybody today can perform all sorts of financial transactions online in the comforts of their home or office. Apart from the security and convenience, internet banking is also cost effective with less or sometimes no fees at all.

Research experts say that while some consumers see no benefit in eliminating paper when doing transactions, going paperless is actually protection in itself. As an example, a bank’s website can now allow you to view your bills and statements online in an instant instead of waiting for several weeks. This means that there’s no chance that your credit card and telephone statements will be taken from your mailbox or your trash can.

The encryption technology is the most commonly used to secure websites. As data pass through shared systems or networks wherein a large number of people have access to the information, this tool plays a vital role. It is in this light then that confidential information notably passwords needs to be encrypted to prevent them from leaking to other people and from being changed. The use of a digital signature is another security technique that also involves encryption.

While encryption remains to be used, several large banks now use the latest web-based security system known as SiteKey. The tool uses a new kind of authentication process with the main goal of avoiding phishing, an online fraudulent activity. However, only a few are using this technique because of the system’s weaknesses.

The use of usernames and passwords as well as personal identification numbers or PINs is among the standard security features provided by most banks. It is, therefore, highly recommended that the confidential information should not be shared with anyone to avoid the so-called identity theft.

Email alert is another safeguard that banks use. With this feature, customers are alerted via email or text message whenever suspicious transactions occur on their account such as withdrawal of large sums, when they get emails from phishers or when someone attempts to access an account with an incorrect password.

Many major banks also provide scanned images of canceled checks. The check’s image not only shows the front side but the back side as well. This will help a customer in verifying the check number, amount and the payee in case he or she forgets the information.

Banks are committed to providing their clients with the best online security in an effort to protect their hard-earned money. It is not surprising then that internet banking customers are now growing in number.

Book Summary – Multiple Streams of Internet Income – Written by Robert Allen

Robert Allen is a successful writer and investor. He has written several books which are published and reviewed already on Success Progress. This book is now 5 years old which is ancient in internet years. Thus I will review a portion and give up to date tips on internet strategies for making money.

Why is this important to me? I understand that I am asking you to spend 6 minutes with me on this video and then potentially a couple of hours reading this book. Thus the content has to be worth it. With that said, the content in the book is well worth the time. Years ago, one spouse could work and support the family. This country had what was called a middle class. Then we moved into the “DINK” era which is dual incomes with no kids. Thus both spouses worked to make ends meet. Today, you have both spouses working and families are still drowned in debt and suffering from money problems. Creating multiple streams of PASSIVE income is critical if you want to get out of the rat race and provide for your family. Contrary to popular belief, this does take work and focus. Typically when you hear about the overnight success, they never tell you about the 10 prior years they spent getting their asses kicked.

Creating multiple streams of income takes time but once you start doing this, you will see the power of passive money and compounding. Investors like Robert Allen and Robert Kiyosaki have typically done this with rental real estate. Robert Allen pioneered the billion dollar no money down real estate market. In my humble opinion, I think the internet offers much more upside opportunity with less risk. If anything, you can start building monthly cash flow from the internet and park it in cash flow real estate. This method will make you rich if you put in the time.

I am a big fan of the three stooges. This is the case because my mental capacity fits theirs. The question becomes then, how do we start to make money on the internet? I will save you hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars with one word – CONTENT. Do not spend money on traffic software, Google Ads or anything else until you understand that content is king. The reason the Stooges have been known for over 70 years is because of their content. Good content persists.

Enough with the esoteric stuff, here are some things you can do right now to get immersed in making money on the internet.

1. Content – Everybody has uniqueness and you need to start there. If you have a passion for a particular sport, hobby or animal then start there. Start mind dumping everything you know about that particular thing. A mind dump is where you take a sheet of paper and pencil and just start writing words that come to mind about your particular subject. Don’t worry about organization. That will come later.

2. Research – Now we want to do some research. This is why the internet is so strong. In the old days, when you wanted to sell something, you would have to make calls, bang on doors and send mailers. Today, the prospect funnel is already out there and all you have to do is use Google to start tapping into it. You can use the Google AdWords tool. Simply “Google” AdWords and you can put in websites or terms and see how many people are searching for that topic. This is very strong because if your content is good and millions of searches are happening per month then you are on your way to building an income stream.

3. List Building – Your list is critical and where the money is at. Do not buy a list of emails from brokers. Don’t spam. Don’t try to take the easy way out on this. To build a good list will take time but if you cater to the list with good content then it will pay you back 10 fold. You want to gather a following so start writing short articles about your topic and start submitting them to article sites. Sites like EzineArticles are free article sites that will help you build traffic to your site. You can create one article and submit it to several free article sites. Look up Article marketing for more details.

4. Social Media – Creating social media content is critical to creating and helping your income generation. Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter are great places to start. Coordinate all of these things and your traffic will build.

After you have some content and did your market research, you need to know the end game. How will this be monetized?

1. Free partial E-book – You can write an e-book about your topic and give away the first few chapters free and charge for the whole book. Imagine selling a $2.95 e-book and offering it to a list of 200,000 people. If you get a 5% sale rate then you just made $29,500. There is power in small numbers. McDonald’s is a billion dollar business selling 99 cent stuff.

2. Affiliates – Do you know that you don’t have to sell, collect, pack or ship anything? One of the biggest and most trusted affiliate is Amazon.com. There are others like Clickbank and commission junction that you can check out as well. You simple link to the affiliate product or service and as people buy, you get paid.

3. Advertising – Google and YouTube will pay you to have ads on your site. How cool is that? When you watch YouTube videos and click on an embedded ad, the creator of the video gets paid. Can you hear the money going into your account as you sleep?

4. Mobile Apps – Mobile applications are a huge opportunity. I am getting my feet wet on this now and will share the success as I go. If you think about IPhone’s, IPad’s, Android phones and tablets, the sheer size of the opportunity is enormous.

All of the things I chatted about today are free to do. Once you start pumping along and building then there are cheap paid for services like Traffic Geyser, IContact and Keyword spy that will help you in your quest for internet streams of income. You will need to invest in a website and some design work. There are cheap outsourcers that can help you with this. Remember that you need to run this as a business and set realistic goals for yourself. If you are in a position that you hate your job then set a goal for one year to leave. In that time, work on your content, website, marketing and list building activities. If you give yourself one year then you will make money.

I hope you have found this short summary useful. The key to any new idea is to work it into your daily routine until it becomes habit. Habits form in as little as 21 days. One thing you can take away from this book is CONTENT IS KING. People want good content. People love to buy and hate to be sold so when you have good content then they will love to pay you for it.

Internet Banking and Fraud

Internet banking is arguably the fastest method of paying all kind of bills. With many people having time constraint today, they prefer to use electronic banking. Even, developing countries are now growing into the world of online banking. But fraud is posing a constant threat to its growth.

As internet banking keeps growing, fraud is also growing. The danger of fraud keeps causing major set back for both the providers and consumers of online banking. Now the question that rings are, can internet banking be separated from fraud? Can internet bankers stop fraud? What are the measures that can stop internet banking fraud?

1. Can Internet Banking Be Separated From Fraud?-The hard truth is that fraud and internet banking will always have a relationship. Fraudsters find it easy to communicate on the internet and it is so hard to trace them. With internet banking being the fastest way of cashing money, fraudsters will always utilize that, because before they are caught they would have cashed the money. Always know that fraudsters are clever, but you can track them down.

2. Can Internet Bankers Stop Fraud? – Internet bankers have tried to stop this monster called fraud from their business but they find it more and more difficult. For internet bankers to succeed, they will need the support of their customers. This is where the problem lies. Most of the consumers do not have the time for all the normal routine check require of them by their service provider. Some of the customers see this check as a waste of time and irrelevant. These only expose them to fraudsters. Customers must also take responsibilities for their account and its safety.

3. Measures That Can Stop Internet Banking Fraud– Before a consumer register for internet banking service, he/ she must do so with a provider that can boast of a quick customer service. This will reduce the risk of scam e-mails. Therefore, any customer that receives an e-mail asking for his personal information will be able to contact the service provider quickly to confirm the information. Service providers must also educate their customer about potential fraud right when they pickup the form to apply for internet banking facilities. Customers should be provided with fliers informing them about scam e-mails and how to detect fake e-mail messages and fake websites.

Even with the threat of fraud, internet banking keeps growing. But to eradicate fraud the service providers and the consumers must agree to work together. Internet banking is the best and the safest.

What Is An Internet or Web Marketing System?

There always seems to be some initial confusion among my customers as to what an Internet Marketing System really is.

Some of my customers think that it’s just a website set up along with some social media pages. Yes, a website is a feature of a marketing system, but it’s only one part.

Others think that its social media or email marketing. While those are elements of an Internet Marketing System, a complete system entails those elements and much more…

We’ll talk about it more in a few days.

Developing An Internet Marketing System

When developing a new concept for a system, my first rule is to find out what my prospective client wants and needs to accomplish. It’s true, they always say they want “leads”, but what kinds of leads? How do you want to attract those leads and what do you want to offer them in exchange for joining your list?

Many customers know that you’re going to email them and that they are going to see your posts and content on a consistent basis. But what’s most important for you to know is how to develop your marketing system to attract the right target customer and what you are going to offer them in exchange for their interest.

A few days ago, I saw a great ad on Facebook that was offering something that interests me. The ad was written very well and the banner design was attractive. So I clicked on the “Get More Info” link.

Yet, it took me to a lead page that asked me for my contact information without offering me any incentive to give it. The truth is that now days, your request for the prospects info needs to be accompanied by an even trade in their minds.

Of course I clicked away from the page and today I only remember the feeling of not wanting to give up my info so quickly for nothing.

However, a better experience that same day was when I clicked on an offer for free training on how to market a platform I know very little about. I went to the lead page and got immediate free content on how and why I should acquire his program to expand my marketing abilities.

This marketing system took me on a journey about his program. While on that journey, I thought about how I could use this program, not just for myself, but also how my own customers could benefit from it.

I saved his training page to my favorites and added it to my list of products to buy and use.

So as I design an Internet marketing system for an entrepreneur, we contemplate the journey that the prospect is going to take through the system.

What is your prospect going to feel and experience at each interval? How are they going to naturally engage with the system?

My clients and I know that we have to attract them throughout the entire process by getting them involved in the experience instead of the marketing system. Therefore the web marketing system should be built seamless and virtually undetectable.

So the Internet marketing system begins with a great post or ad about the problem your product can solve.

Then it takes them to a lead page that gives them more information about how that solution will benefit them.

Next you offer them a great incentive to learn more about that solution in a series of emails.

Lastly, they get introduced to the problem solving product that you have to offer along with some great bonuses that they didn’t expect.

If you build your offer around the benefits the owner will receive, then you can make it a seamless process.

Next we’ll talk about how long the marketing process takes. I have some great tips on the 90 day sales cycle.

Use the Internet As a Tool to Sell and Gain Clients

Before creating my website, I owned businesses in retail, wholesale and manufacturing. I also worked for many years as a salesman in many different fields selling products and services by knocking on doors, selling by phone and by sending faxes, and more. Before the Internet, I was working in the trenches learning the secrets of effective selling.

I’ve learned a few things over the years and now I’m going to share with you my top secrets on how to create more customers without advertising. Here is a tip you can use starting today:

You Must Start To Use The Internet To Sell And Generate Prospects

I generate huge business online. I have taught 100% online and around the world to more than 50,000 students. My website is listed in the top 1% of most visited websites in the world. I get an average of 1000 different visitors to my site each day.

I have also worked as a coach and advisor to other famous marketing consultants. I use my website to educate my prospects on why they should buy the products and services I have available. And I have done all of this by using audio interviews.

And regardless of the business you’re in, you should be doing the same.

I make a very good living using this audio interview delivery system that literally runs on autopilot. I am not eating up my valuable time on the phone answering the same questions to unqualified prospects. I don’t have to deal with rude customers.

I then make these audio recordings available as free downloads from my website and give away them away as audio CDs completely free. So the next time you think about getting business, consider doing audio interviews with experts that you customers would like to hear from and give them away for free.

You’ll be a hero and your customers will thank you with their money.

Get Your Information Product Out to the Public Using the Internet and More

When trying to get your audios out the public, the internet can be your best friend, but you can use even more resources to help you.

I’d also put up the audio on a replay line, make it easy for those cell phone listeners to listen to your audio on their cell phone or anyone with a phone who doesn’t have Internet access or a good computer or know how to go open up a browser.

There are still a lot of people who can’t get onto the computer. My mom can’t go online because her hands shake. Like when she uses a mouse, I don’t know what the problem is but her hands shake so she can’t use a mouse so she doesn’t go on the computer. So she can’t take advantage of that Internet and there are a lot of people like that.

So I would have a phone number, a replay line so you can broadcast your message through the telephone and you know they are somewhat qualified, too, because they have to pay for the long distance call. And with this replay line the company will send you a report of how many people called the replay line and how long they stayed on the call. So I’ll have a list of call IDs of all the numbers of everyone.

Let’s say I put this whole thing up as a free hour replay and I send it out to my list and I’ve got the report from the replay company and I can see how long each person stayed on the phone and I have their caller ID number. I bet I’ve got a pretty qualified prospect who wants to learn more about this stuff for a service I offer.

YouTube is a wonderful way for getting your information distributed. It is amazing. have you ever heard of these YouTube videos called Blendit?

YouTube is an amazing promotional tool. There is this company and the sell these real high end blenders. The actual container part that you fill up your juice and whatever you are blending is made of this bullet proof material and he’s got this super strong motor and he demonstrates it for a YouTube video and he’ll blend these crazy things. He’ll blend an iPhone, he’ll blend glow sticks, you have to check this out. Go to YouTube Blendit. They blended up a bowl of cubic zirconium of diamonds. He blended up a baseball. I mean things you’d be crazy to put in a blender and this blender chops through it all.

So he does these videos and they are getting viral views, millions of views and he links right to his Web site and he’s selling an incredible amount of blenders.

YouTube is extremely powerful. Twitter and Facebook and LinkedIn, MySpace for the younger generation are incredible resources, these social media sites. I was just saying how popular that LinkedIn interview with my LinkedIn expert is. We talked about YouTube, you know, iTunes, you know I have about 150 of my interviews converted into podcasts so they are on iTunes available to any person who has a digital MP3 player and iTunes was developed by Apple so they could sell music. So they gave whoever had an iPod they could take you know the iTunes music and put it on their iPod, but having a podcast is more than music. Its information type products and podcasts can be TV shows, they can be movies, they can radio shows. You know digital content that is meant to be downloaded from the Internet onto your mobile digital playing device, whether it’s your cell phone or your iPod or your MP3 player.

Secure Your Internet and Wi-Fi

I have touched on this in past articles. Now there are Smart speakers with Alexa, Siri and Google built in I thought I would give you some suggestions on how you can protect and secure yourself.

It is important to recognize that all your smart appliances must go through some type of router before getting to your device. The router will then allow you to connect either through hard wire or Wi-Fi. Hard wire would be faster and more secure; however, Wi-Fi is easier and found in more devices. In either case make sure that your router has a strong password that you created. Make sure that you have the highest-level security for your Wi-Fi such as WPA/WPA2. Also, if your router is more than 5 years old you should consider replacing it with a new modern router. This will ensure that you are using the latest hardware and software security.

Smart speakers are appearing in homes everywhere, they were the highest selling in Amazon this past Christmas season. They are good at playing your favorite music and getting better all the time at following your commands. They can control your alarm system and lock and unlock your front door. Before you allow Alexa, Siri or Google to unlock your front door, ask yourself how secure are they. Can they differentiate your voice form the voice of a stranger? What if you left your house and a stranger came to your front door and said “Unlock the Door” would it unlock? Voice recognition is getting better every day, so test your device before trusting it.

Are smart TV’s tracking what you watch? The answer is yes, they can. I have written another article that explains how they do this and more important how you can stop it.

Do you have cameras inside your house? Many of us do. Ask yourself are they secure and how do I prevent them from being taken over by some smart actor. That could put you into a very embarrassing situation.

It is important to carefully investigate every new smart device that you purchase to determine how it works and what data it collects about you. Then secure that device within your home network. If you are not sure about a particular device disconnect it from your home network. Remember, most every device that you have in your home has to go through your router, secure it!

"Fail-Proof" Your Internet Marketing Business With This Simple Secret 90% Of Businesses Ignore

If you want to know a sure-fire, almost 100% fool proof secret that will keep your Internet marketing business alive and thriving for years into the future, then this article will show you how.

It’s a simple secret, but a secret most people never understand. And yet, if you know and understand it, you almost can’t fail.

Anyway, here is the “secret:

Success and failure, for the most part, all boils down to selling people what they want and not what they need.

For example, let’s take a multi-millionaire who loves making money and has more money than he could ever possibly spend in ten lifetimes.

He may not need more money, but he wants it. And so, he will be open to ways to multiply his fortune.

On the other hand, let’s say this guy really needs a prostate examination, but is in denial there anything wrong with him.

And doesn’t want to hear about the subject.

Well guess what?

You could show him all the data on his family history with prostate cancer, on people his age and other relevant data that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt he really needs to have his prostate looked at, and it won’t matter to him one bit.

Sure, he needs it.

But he doesn’t want it.

And so, that offer for a free prostate exam or bottle of pills won’t mean jack squat to him. Even though he may need it, and even though he can easily afford it.

The point?

People don’t necessarily always buy what they need. But they will always buy the things they want.

And so, when you’re selling online (or offline) as long as you focus on what your customers wants — and not what they need — you’re going to be in business for a long time.

Like I said, it’s not a complicated secret at all.

And yet, look around you and you will see 90% of Internet marketers doing the exact opposite.
