Term Life Insurance – The Easiest Type of Life Insurance to Understand

The two major types of life insurance are: term life and permanent. The both insurance have their own particular form of coverage for you and your family.

Term life insurance is frequently touted for its “pure insurance protection,” which includes none of the cash value attributes inherent in whole life policies. It covers you for a certain period of time – typically 10, 15, 20 or 30 years. You can also purchase term insurance that covers you until you achieve a certain age, typically 65 or 70. Term insurance policies end at a set time and if you don’t die within the term there is no payment of the policy. If you do die within the term, your recipients accept the money tax-free.

Some people dislike the idea of life assurance, yet it is an essential means of protecting your family against financial burden that can happen from estate taxes upon death.

In general, you buy term life assurance to guard your loved ones from debts or give for short-term obligations. For instance, if you and your spouse possess a home and you were to die tomorrow, your spouse would have to disburse the mortgage on his or her own. If you had a policy, your spouse could accept an adequate amount of money from the policy’s death benefit to pay off the mortgage.

Term life assurance is the easiest form of life assurance to comprehend. To put it simply, the insured person disburses a minimal premium per thousand dollars of coverage on an annual, semi annual, quarterly or monthly basis. If he or she dies within the term of the policy, the life assurance company will disburse the beneficiary the face value of the policy.

It’s a great thing you’ve determined to obtain a term life insurance policy. But while you’re on it you should to understand a few things. There are things you can do to ensure you get the lowest price without compromising the coverage you’ll get.

How to Make a Man Chase You After You’ve Had Sex? His Interest Won’t Die Even After You Had Sex

You’ve had the best time of your life with the guy of your dreams but you don’t want him to be around you just for the sex. If you want to know how to make him chase you after you have had good sex for other reasons too, then take a look at these tips that will guarantee that he will chase you because he is falling in love with you.

Make the sex memorable
In the first place the sex you have with him should be memorable and not something he would experience with a one-night-stand. Make sure that you communicate feelings that are genuine and honest so that he does not feel used in any way. This way he will always want to continue to have a relationship with you.

Become busy and unattainable
The trick is to make him feel that he could lose having you. Be friendly but also have a busy schedule so that he realizes that you have other things to do rather than wait patiently for his call. Let him see you enjoying yourself with other friends and he will want you even more and will continue to chase you.

Ignore his hints
If you feel that all he wants is sex because of the broad hints he keeps giving you – then ignore those hints and signals. Be courteous and let him know that even though you had a great time with him, you don’t want to continue a physical relationship for now. This will make him frustrated and he will pursue you like crazy.

Let him know that sex isn’t everything
As soon as you get the chance, be open and let him know what are your feelings are. Show him that you are much more than just someone to have sex with! Once he knows that he will be more aware of different parts of your personality and begin to fall in love with you. This will make him chase you more.

Be sweet, sexy and stimulating
The more sweet, saucy, sexy and stimulating you are the more he is going to want you. Make him remember the night you spent together and then play a little hard to get. This way you can be sure that he will keep on chasing you.

Be uncompromising and unrelenting for a while
No matter how much he tries to catch you and get you to go to bed with him, be unrelenting and act a little stubborn. Don’t overdo it and ignore him completely or else he will lose interest completely and pursue someone else.

Look sexually desirable at all times
Make sure you are physically alluring and tempting at all times. This will make him remember how gorgeous you are and he will want an encore of the last time you spent the night with him. Be the carrot at the end of the stick and lure him into chasing you. The more attractive you are to him the more determined he will be to chase you.

The Different Ways Of Minting Indian Coins

In India, different rulers minted various varieties of coins. These coins were minted in different ways. Earlier, beads and stones were used as currency and this system was known as the Barter System.

However, as it was difficult to differentiate between these items, coins were introduced. Based on minting technologies, ancient Indian Coins can be broadly divided into four groups:

– Punch Marked Coins: These are the earliest recorded coins in India. They were used in the 6th Century BC. The symbols on them were abstract or nature related elements. As both the sides of the coins were struck simultaneously, hence they were called the punch marked coins.

Most of the punch-marked coins had different number of punches impressed upon them. These coins were formed into different shapes, such as the bar-shaped, oblong, or cup-shaped. All these varieties of coins were struck with dies.

– Casting Techniques: In this minting technology, coins were minted using molds. This technique was faster in comparison to the way the Punch Marked were produced and many coins could be produced at one time from a single mold. The main drawback of this technique was that the impression of the mold was not always transferred to the coins properly. So, the rulers at that time eventually developed a brand new technique.

– Repousee Technique: These coins were thin and lightweight. They bear devices only on one side and the other side had a negative impression. This technique was a time-consuming one, so there were fewer numbers of coins minted using this technique.

– Die-Struck Technique: Die-Struck technique was developed because of the fact that the Repousse and Casting techniques had many disadvantages. There were many Ancient Indian Coins minted with this technique during the rule of Gupta and Indo-Greeks. In this technique, both the sides of the coins received impressions.

Hence, there were many different varieties of coins minted by using these different techniques. Some of these coins are still present in the collections of the world and they can even be found in some museums. A perfectly designed coin is one which looks attractive, beautiful and is produced through keeping the technical aspects in consideration.

Transferring the image from a die to the coin requires a great deal of force. If the force is unbalanced, then the coins would gradually disintegrate. These disintegrated dies can be seen on the surface of the coins in the form of lumps or lines.

Hence, it is very important that the coins be minted in the correct manner.

Do I Really Need a Will?

It worth noting some terminology first which is used in this article. When someone dies, what they leave behind is called the Estate. The Estate is the total amount of property, whether personal or real, owned by the decedent at his or her death. Once a person dies, the estate is submitted to the probate court. If there is a will, the probate court will determine if the will is valid and then oversee the administration of the estate by the executor. The executor is the person appointed in the will by the decedent to oversee the estate. The executor owes fiduciary duties to anyone who has an interest in the estate. What this means is that the executor owes a duty of loyalty and must act in the best interests of the estate. Included in this duty of loyalty, is a duty to act in good faith to manage estate assets and not to cause the estate to lose value.

Here is where it gets dicey, what if there is no will or the will is determined to be invalid? The probate court will appoint an administrator and the decedent’s property will be distributed according to the State’s laws of inheritance. Many people inaccurately believe that when they die, everything they have will automatically go to their surviving spouse. That is not always the case.

In Pennsylvania for instance, the surviving spouse gets the entire intestate estate only if there is no surviving issue (child, grandchild or great-grandchild) or parent of the decedent. Let us assume that there is surviving issue from the marriage. In that case, the surviving spouse gets the first $30,000 plus one-half of the balance of the intestate estate if there are surviving issue of the decedent all of whom are also issue of the surviving spouse. (Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the case of a decedent who died as a result of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, a surviving spouse will be entitled to 100% of any compensation award paid pursuant to the Air Transportation Safety and System Stabilization Act).

However, the intestate estate share to the surviving issue of the marriage, get distributed regardless of their age, and without regard to when or how the inheritance gets used or distributed. Typically, a Will establishes parameters or guidelines for when, what and how an inheritance is distributed to minors, especially. Imagine what a 17 year old would do upon distribution of a significant inheritance after a parent has died? A will with trust provisions for issue is capable of establishing guidelines such as the age of when an inheritance is distributed and the amount of to be distributed at each specified age to a child, grandchild or great-grandchild. Further guidelines may be established for limited use of the money during a time the beneficiary is a minor, such as health, welfare and education of the minor before any distributions are made.

My surviving spouse gets everything even if I had children from another marriage?

The simple answer is no. This is a common misconception when the decedent has children, for instance, from another marriage. In that case, pursuant to Pennsylvania law, the surviving spouse gets one-half of the intestate estate if there is surviving issue of the decedent, one or more of whom are not the issue of the surviving spouse. Under these circumstances, the surviving spouse will have to share the estate equally with the children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren of the decedent, whether from another marriage or adopted.

The right of a Widow to the entire estate of his/her deceased spouse depends on whether the decedent left issue, and not on whether the surviving spouse had issue in cases where the decedent did not have a will or the will was deemed to be invalid. Imagine having to share your spouses estate with his/her parents, if you did not have children.

So why leave things for chance, or for a Court to determine who and how much will inherit when you die. Having a will ensures that those you want to inherit from your estate when you die will do so and that your intentions are followed as opposed to those of a court. Whether it be a spouse you want to take care of after your death, or a special needs child, or even a spend thrift child who may need some constraints as part of his or her inheritance, a will is the one way to make it happen.

Jack Russel in Austin Dies & Contacts Family

We got a call from Austin Texas. The family had recently had their beloved Jack Russell Terrier, pass away. They were heartbroken. They had taken him to the vet to have him cremated. They entrusted him to their local vet and went home.

Within a few days they were aware that Jerry’s spirit was still very much in the home. At first they thought it was just their grief and sense of loss. But soon they knew that Jerry was trying to reach them. They could hear the familiar sound of him drinking at the water bowl. They him felt jump onto the bed. After finding that everyone in the family had been sensing this. There were poltergeist types of disruptions, noises and visualizations of Jerry throughout the house.

When the family contacted us they did not know why this was happening. We were not sure we could help as we had never tried to work with an animal spirit but the minute I sat down and began to focus on Jerry, the tenacity of the Jack Russel came in and boy did he have a lot to say. First of all he was quite upset that he had not been buried in the backyard with the family cat. Second of all he had not been cremated and he wanted the family to look into what had happened to him.

When I spoke with the family it was uncomfortable to approach this conversation with them. But I explained that Jerry was unhappy with the way he had been disposed of and wanted to be buried in the back yard. We decided to take photos of Jerry and objects he liked and create a ceremony for him in the backyard.

The family began investigating and discovered that the vet had not cremated Jerry, but simply had the dog taken out to the city dump. For a while things were quiet. But then Jerry’s activities began again. Sharon communicated with Jerry again who said that he could not rest because there were so many other animals that were also not properly taken care of or put to rest.

We sat quietly in a room one evening and called in Archangel Michael, St Francis and Jerry to help all of these lost animal spirit’s to cross over. It was amazing how many spirits crossed over the next half hour. This simple, but powerful ceremony gave solace to the many restless souls.

This was a good reminder to all of us that even our loving animals need to be carefully cared for in death. Today things are quiet and peaceful. Jerry has not returned.

The Facts About Press Brake Machinery

Most of the time metal needs to be formed before it can be used. There are a lot of ways that metal is formed. The most common is to use a machine press. A press uses some kind of force to change the shape of the metal. There are several different presses and methods to pressing metal. One kind of press is the press brake, also known as the brake press. This machine press bends sheet metal into the desired shape.

Angles formed with this kind of press can be extremely accurate. Depending on what kind of die is used, multiple bends can be made at one time. Press brake machinery has two frames that are the sides. They are attached to a table on the bottom with a ram or beam on the top.

The die and punch are attached to the table and the beam. The sheet metal goes in between the two, the punch lowers and the metal is formed into the shape of the die. When it comes to basic operation, there are 4 basic types. They break down as to the way that force is applied to the metal to bend it. Not all the methods work for all applications. Some of them are slower or less accurate than others.

One type of brake press machinery is the mechanical press. This kind of press has a flywheel inside the electric motor. Energy is applied to the flywheel and a clutch is used to engage the wheel so it moves a crank to lift the beam up and down. This kind of press is fast and the most accurate.

A hydraulic press uses two cylinders that are mounted on the sides of the press. The cylinders are synched up so that they move together. A hydraulic press is slower than a mechanical press. A pneumatic press is similar except instead of using fluid.

The servo-electric type of press has a belt drive or ballscrew that is driven by a servomotor. The best uses of the servo-electric and pneumatic brakes are jobs that don’t need as much pressure, or tonnage, placed on the ram. Until recently, the mechanical presses were most commonly used. This is because they are fast and highly accurate. In the past hydraulic presses were much slower because they had to wait to reset. But advances in hydraulics have markedly reduced that waiting period.

The advances of computer controls have also made hydraulic press brakes much more accurate. They are also the safest choice. One piece of press brake machinery can be used for a number of jobs. All it takes is changing the punch and die. The punch goes on the ram. It pushes the metal down into the die.

The punch gives the bend its inside angle and the die gives it the outside angle. However, depending on the bending process, whether it is air bending or bottoming, a die might not be needed. A press brake is used to fold and bend sheet metal into new shapes. Things like brackets and cases for electronics are made this way. There are different kinds of press brake machinery as well as different processes and dies.

Polypropylene Bags Production Process

Manufacturing of tapes:

The granules of polypropylene bags are fed to the extruder hopper, where they are plasticized and the melt flow is passed through a T-die. Film thus produced is slit into the form of tapes. These strips are then oriented by stretching them under heated condition at a predetermined ratio. Finally the tapes are wound on cheese winders. It is also possible to produce films by blown film process, instead of T-die extrusion. The compounding ingredients used along with polypropylene and HDPE are generally CaCO3 and master batch.

Weaving of tapes into fabrics:

The tapes so obtained are fed to circular looms/ flat looms and woven into tubular or flat fabric respectively.

Lamination or extrusion coating:

This step is not necessary for all types of polypropylene bags as in case of jute sacks. Therefore, calculations were made without taking into account the energy/emission in this process. Fabric produced may require to be coated. HDPE woven sacks are laminated with LLDPE/LDPE while in case of polypropylene bags; lamination is done by lamination grade polypropylene.

Fabric roll is mounted on unwinding roll from where it passes through two rolls over which T-die connected to the extruder is located. The melt of the material, which is to be coated on the fabrics comes through the T-Die as an extrudate and coats the woven fabric. It is then cooled under pressure and wound.

Cutting and stitching of polypropylene bags:

In the next stage the unlaminated fabric as produced earlier is cut, reversed manually, and the bottom is stitched. Then it is printed as per the requirement of the customer.

Primary properties of polypropylene used in producing woven sacks are their chemical inertness and inertness to metabolic processes.

Polypropylene used for the manufacturing of polypropylene bags meets the requirements stipulated in BIS standard IS 10910. The grade of additives incorporated in polypropylene complies with the FDA: CFR title 21, 177.1520 olefin polymers. Additive incorporated in polypropylene also conform to the positive list of constituents as prescribed in BIS standard IS: 10909.

Different Strategies – Stop Loss Orders

Being obese can take years off your life and in some cases may be as dangerous as smoking, a new study says. British researchers at the University of Oxford analyzed 57 studies mostly in Europe and North America, following nearly one million people for an average of 10 to 15 years. During that time, about 100,000 of those people died.

The studies used Body Mass Index (BMI), a measurement that divides a person’s weight in kilograms by their height squared in meters to determine obesity. Researchers found that death rates were lowest in people who had a BMI of 23 to 24, on the high side of the normal range.

Health officials generally define overweight people as those with a BMI from 25 to 29, and obese people as those with a BMI above 30.

The study was published online Wednesday in the medical journal, Lancet. It was paid for by Britain’s Medical Research Council, the British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK and others.

“If you are heading towards obesity, it may be a good idea to lose weight,” said Sir Richard Peto, the study’s main statistician and a professor at Oxford University.

Peto and colleagues found that people who were moderately fat, with a BMI from 30 to 35, lost about three years of life. People who were morbidly fat – those with a BMI above 40 – lost about 10 years off their expected lifespan, similar to the effect of lifelong smoking.

Moderately obese people were 50 percent more likely to die prematurely than normal-weight people, said Gary Whitlock, the Oxford University epidemiologist who led the study.

He said that obese people were also two thirds more likely to die of a heart attack or stroke, and up to four times more likely to die of diabetes, kidney or liver problems. They were one sixth more likely to die of cancer.

“This really emphasizes the importance of weight gain,” said Dr. Arne Astrup, a professor of nutrition at the University of Copenhagen who was not linked to the Lancet study. “Even a small increase in your BMI is enough to increase your risks for cardiovascular disease and cancer.”

Previous studies have found that death rates increase both above and below a normal BMI score, and that people who are moderately overweight live longer than underweight or normal-weight people.

Other experts said that because the papers used in the study mostly started between 1975 and 1985, their conclusions were not as relevant today.

Astrup worried that rising obesity rates may reverse the steep drops in heart disease seen in the West.

“Obesity is the new dark horse for public health officials,” he said. “People need to be aware of the risks they’re taking when they gain weight.”

The Cigarette Smoking Tragedy

Smoking harms every part of the body – there is no organ that it doesn’t touch. It causes many diseases. It reduces the quality and enjoyment of life and also reduces how long a smoker can expect to live.

Smoking has a devastating effect on the individual and their family and friends. And yet every day nearly 6,000 children under 18 years of age start smoking; of these, nearly 2,000 will become regular smokers. That is almost 800,000 annually. It is estimated that at least 4.5 million U.S. adolescents are cigarette smokers and approximately 90 percent of smokers begin smoking before the age of 21. Cigarette smoking during childhood and adolescence produces significant health problems. These problems include cough and phlegm production, an increase in the number and severity of respiratory illnesses decreased physical fitness, an unfavorable blood lipid profile and potential retardation in the rate of lung growth and the level of maximum lung function. An estimated 440,000 Americans die each year from diseases caused by smoking.

It has been estimated that, in England, 364,000 patients are admitted to hospitals each year due to diseases caused by smoking. This is 7,000 hospital admissions per week, or 1,000 day. For every death caused by smoking, approximately 20 smokers are suffering from a smoking related disease. In 1997/98, cigarette smoking caused an estimated 480,000 patients to consult their Medical Practitioner for heart disease, 20,000 for stroke and nearly 600,000 for chronic obstructive lung disease.

Half of all teenagers who are currently smoking will die from diseases caused by cigarette smoke – if they continue to smoke. One quarter will die before 70 years of age, losing on average 21 years of life. It is estimated that between 1950 and 2000 six million Britons, 60 million people worldwide, died from tobacco-related diseases. One in two long-term smokers will die prematurely as a result of smoking – half of these in middle age. Most die from one of the three main diseases associated with cigarette smoking: lung cancer, chronic obstructive lung disease (bronchitis and emphysema) and coronary heart disease.

In the UK deaths caused by smoking are five times higher than the 22,833 deaths arising from: traffic accidents (3,439); poisoning and overdose (881); alcoholic liver disease (5,121); other accidental deaths (8,579); murder and manslaughter (513); suicide (4,066); and HIV infection (234). World-wide, almost 5 million die prematurely each year as a result of smoking.

Smokers also face a higher risk than non-smokers of developing many medical conditions which may not be fatal but which may cause years of debilitating illness or other problems. These conditions include the following:

Acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis (gum disease)

Angina (20 x risk)

Back pain

Buerger’s Disease (severe circulatory disease)

Cataract (2 x risk)

Cataract, posterior subcapsular (3 x risk)

Colon Polyps

Crohn’s Disease (chronic inflamed bowel)

Depression

Diabetes (Type 2, non-insulin dependent)

Duodenal ulcer

Hearing loss

Impotence (2 x risk)

Influenza

Ligament injuries

Macular degeneration (eyes, 2 x risk)

Muscle injuries

Neck pain

Nystagmus (abnormal eye movements)

Ocular Histoplasmosis (fungal eye infection)

Optic Neuropathy (loss of vision, 16 x risk)

Osteoarthritis

Osteoporosis (in both sexes)

Penis (Erectile dysfunction)

Peripheral vascular disease

Pneumonia

Psoriasis (2 x risk)

Rheumatoid arthritis (for heavy smokers)

Skin wrinkling (2 x risk)

Stomach ulcer

Tendon injuries

Tobacco Amblyopia (loss of vision)

Tooth loss

Tuberculosis

This means that the smoker has circulation, hearing, vision, joint, muscle, sexual, digestion, lung, skin and other problems – not a pleasing picture. This list doesn’t include the various cancers that smoker are prone to – cancers such as mouth, esophagus, bladder, kidney, pancreas, stomach and leukaemia. Nor does the list include the fact that the circulation problems can lead to gangrene (death of the tissues) which necessitates amputations. There are also functions that are impaired in smokers. These include:

Ejaculation (volume reduced)

Fertility (30% lower in women)

Immune System (impaired)

Menopause (onset 1.74 years early on average)

Sperm count reduced

Sperm less able to penetrate the ovum

Sperm motility impaired

Sperm shape abnormalities increased

The life of a smoker is not an easy one. The suffering and illness caused by the smoking is severe. The only way to ensure that you don’t have this pain and suffering is not to smoke. If you currently smoke than you need to quit. Quitting is not easy -however you do not have to do undertake the quitting process alone – you can have guidance, support and assistance.
