Sometimes either one in a relationship feels suffocated and trapped. This is when it is good for that person to get away for a few days in order to think things over and make a few decisions. Separation is good in some ways because “absence does make the heart fonder”. If your boyfriend disappears for a few days it could be harmless or it could mean that he wants to get away from you. Don’t jump to conclusions
It is best to be calm and rational when this happens. Don’t jump to rash conclusions and imagine the worst. It could just mean that he needed to get away and have his space. Maybe you did not realize that you are too demanding, bullying and possessive. Wait for him to come back and be compassionate and understanding.

Be positive and don’t think that he has left you for good. You could try to figure out where he has gone and where. Ask some mutual friends if they know about his whereabouts. If you have patience and wait a while, he will most probably get in touch with you himself and let you know.

In case you do get in touch with him or he returns after disappearing for a few days, don’t respond in an angry manner. One of the best ways to make him realize that he should not do the disappearing act is to talk to him frankly and stress on the fact that there should not be any secrets between you. Once you do this, let him know that if for any reason he felt the need to be alone or have his space, you are willing to give him that.
