Wen styling creme is another product by Chaz Dean that is supplementary to his Wen conditioner. It comes in a variety of scents just like the conditioner, like lavender, fig and cucumber aloe; personally I have only used the sweet almond mint.
1. Non-Greasy: Unlike a lot of other hair products on the market, the Wen styling creme is not like any other styling creme I’ve tried. It was not greasy and other than really liking the look and feel of my hair once it was in, it didn’t look like I had any product in my hair at all. Mouse and wax and all of those other products that are supposed to add body and shine to your hair just make it feel crispy and gross.
2. Lightweight: It didn’t weigh my hair down at all either, after I put it in I just styled my hair the way I usually do and it worked beautifully. I don’t style my hair as much as some woman out there, so don’t think this creme will make your hair “hold” like a mouse or hairspray. It just adds a little extra something to your hair without overwhelming it.
3. Same Soft Result: Some like to use a little extra Wen conditioner after their shower to use as a leave-in conditioner, and I find that works great too, but I also really like to use the Wen styling creme in that way. It seems to be just a slight modification of the conditioner and it leaves my hair feeling as soft and smooth as the conditioner does. You won’t have to worry that after you put this product in your hair that your significant other will get their fingers stuck in your hair while running their fingers through it; it is completely different from other styling cremes I’ve used.
