Not-So Great Uses for this Lens

The Utility of SEO Spy Tools

SEO has become a complex and highly competitive service to offer. Thanks to abuse by early webmasters, gone are the days of simple meta tag and body content manipulation. Being competitive in SEO involves not only attending to your on-page SEO, but also tending to its technical application. Organized internal linking, an easy-to-crawl sitemap, a light code structure, proper 301 redirects and/or use of the canonical link rel element are a handful of the on-page SEO factors to consider. Inbound links have also grown in importance. But even then you have to be careful where you’re getting your links from, and how they’re being implemented. The existence of nofollows and redirects often make certain links not worth pursuing.

Spy on your Competitor’s SEO efforts

The chances that you’re the first individual or company to enter your niche are highly unlikely. Likewise, you’re probably not the first to SEO for a product or service you’re attempting to sell. But not being first can actually be a blessing. Rather than starting from scratch and enduring painstaking trial and error, why not simply see what your competitors are and have been doing with their SEO program? Imagine simply finding the quality links and the on-page optimization that are getting your competitors ranked. Rather than starting at ground zero, you can simply retrace the proper steps.

Enter: SEO Spy Tools

There are a number of web and SEO tools and techniques that will give you a broader view of the SEO landscape. In some cases, you can use these tools to gauge a keyword’s competitiveness, and/or to find a synonym that may in fact be less competitive and higher converting. Perhaps your competitors have completely ignored certain words or phrases altogether. Some SEO tools allow you to see where your competitors are ranking for certain words and what they’re doing right and wrong. You can find out who’s linking to them and how much keyword density they’re using to optimize for certain phrases.

Types of SEO Spy Tools

There are a number of SEO spy tools and techniques out there. They range from free to hundreds of dollars each month. The best tools combine tools and techniques into a single interface and save your time. For example, you can use Google search operators to figure out a site’s inbound links or number of pages indexed. You can also use Yahoo! Site explorer to get the same information (but more expanded). However, certain browser plugins like Chrome SEO and SEO Site Tools combine this into a single interface. Plugins like these will highlight nofollows. Then there are paid tools like Raven Tools, Spy Fu, Internet Business Promoter, Web CEO, and Compete which allow you to pull mountains of data for multiple websites.

Looking for one of the best RPG downloads available? If you’re a hardcore adventurer, J.D. Spy should be right up your alley. J.D. Spy is a free text-based adventure game that is leaps and bounds ahead of most pay-to-play games. After you enter all your personal details for the character you wish to play, the game will give you a fatal error. Although you may think this is a bug, it is nothing more than the beginning of a long, mentally strenuous journey.

Michael I. Jacobs made J.D. Spy a decade ago, and I still find myself recommending it to everyone. It is unique in that you are not restricted to the game application. Winning this PC RPG game requires using the Internet, drawing software, geometry, the use of maps, and knowing how to program in Java. Do not worry too much. The game has a great guide to Java and several references to keep you afloat in this adventure. Personal research on the Internet is a must, nonetheless.

Is the J.D. Spy free RPG game download right for me?

If you’re not up for a challenge, stay away from J.D. Spy. Of all the freeware games I have enjoyed, J.D. Spy has the most unique way of working the brain. Avoid playing if you’re not up for plenty of headaches!

I have a hard time telling anyone not to play this game, however. This prime example of quality RPG downloads rids itself of the restrictions that many other games set upon themselves, even if you only interact using text. The unwinding tale grows more intense as you increase your understanding of this imaginary world of computers, espionage, and human networking.

Thus, I strongly advise you to give J.D. Spy a try. I promise any true adventurer that you’re in for a pleasant surprise with this piece of gaming art. Prepare to work diligently in your quest for several weeks. Although this game is no longer available on the Michael I. Jacobs site, you can still grab this free RPG game download online.

Spies, spyware, internet parasites are among what they are usually called. These are scouts that monitor your web activities. The work undercover to check on your surfing patterns, spending habits, items bought, they extract email addresses, hijack browsers, steal credit card information. These are just some of the things a spyware is capable of.

A spyware is mainly an information hungry parasite determined to gather data from a user or surfer without him knowing it.

The information gathered by these parasites are then sent to the originator without the users consent. Most often, the information gathered by the spyware are used to generate ads and pop-ups on the user’s PC.

Spywares and Adwares aside from being a nuisance and an invasion of privacy can also jeopardize the optimal performance of your PC. They can eat up unused disk spaces and position themselves in an inconspicuous location in your hard drive. They can also eat the bandwidth, crash your system and oftentimes inflict themselves in the Registry or in the memory of your computer.

Spyware and Adwares have become very rampant nowadays. Prevent yourself from being a victim of these by:

* Being careful of Freeware and Shareware Downloads

– Some of these downloads are tagged with spywares which may be unknown to the user. Refrain from downloading sharewares and freewares from unknown sources.

* Installing a good spyware/adware scanner and removal software

– There are a number of spyware scanner and/or removal softwares in the market today. A good spyware scanner can effectively locate all spywares installed on your PC and a good spyware removal tool can effectively remove all the spywares detected.

Spy Scanners are programs designed to detect spies in your PC. A good spy scanner can effectively search through the most unnoticeable embedded files that spy on you.

Most Spy scanners include a spyware removal function. Other spy scanners do not entail spyware removal features but display the logs of the spyware detected in your PC. The information in the logs contains the location and nature of the spywares.

For spy scanners with no built-in spyware removal functions, a manual deletion of the spyware files could also be done since the location and the file type is specified in the logs. Some Spy scanner products on the market today have spyware scan available for non-paying users and the removal tool available only for paying users.

Spy Scanners when installed can be chosen to run on demand or periodically.

If you need to know how to spy on a computer, I’ll tell you right now that it’s with software. But not all are created equal… some can spy on certain activities, but not everything. What’s more is that most do not do so invisibly – and this is the key thing here. Invisibility and stealth are paramount to the success of monitoring computer activities no matter the reasons. Why?

For example, this is not how to spy on a computer; if you’re trying to keep an eye on your kid while he’s online to make sure he doesn’t go off on some crazy bestiality porn site, it would do nothing if there’s some blinking fireball of an icon pulsating in the system task bar. He’ll clearly know he’s being watched, and go off to a friend’s house to check out some porn on his friend’s computer.

Obviously, that is not how to spy on a computer at all. In order to do so effectively, you absolutely positively need stealth. You need to be invisible, or it just ain’t happening, period. For this reason, when you seek out some software to monitor computer activities, it’s got to run silently and invisibly… like the types used by businesses who keep tabs on whether their employees are indeed working, or stealing account information and client files for their own ends. These software programs record everything, every detail, instant message, every keystroke, and hides them on secret invisible files that then get discretely e-mailed to the observer who plays it all back for view.
