This will not only help them make money, but (you got it!) will also help our business grow. The way they say, “The more I help you succeed, the more I succeed”.

Those twelve men went out to the world, applied the teachings of Jesus, and taught others how to be followers of Christ also. Today the Gospel is known throughout the whole world as it has spread like a virus.

Network Marketing is no different. We do not have to go out and recruit 100 people to grow a large organization. If we wisely sponsor 5 – 10 people and work closely with those, they will eventually ‘duplicate’ your teachings and your organization will start to have momentum and growth.

It’s all about creating other leaders in our organizations just as Jesus created twelve leaders and those twelve created more leaders.

Third, Jesus taught that if you had “faith as small as a mustard seed, you could move mountains”. Napoleon Hill pretty much taught the same concept. Many others also have written books on the importance of positive thinking.

It’s impossible to succeed in Network Marketing with a negative, ‘loser’ attitude. A positive attitude will motivate you and inspire you to greatness.

A negative (or loser) attitude will kill your dreams and keep you in mediocrity.

I could go on and on and on listing the many ways Network Marketing and Christianity are similar. I guess I would have to write a book on the subject huh?

The point is this: Network Marketing is not a one man show. It’s all about building long term relationships, having business integrity and treating others with the same respect you would want to receive. It’s all about self development and personal growth.

It’s impossible to grow a successful Network Marketing business without the proper mindset, self-discipline and training.

There are no plateau’s either. We are constantly being challenged to higher and higher ground!

Many spiritual concepts that have long been a part of sacred geometry are consummated in the Mobius ring. A Mobius strip can be created from cutting out an eleven (11″) inch long by one (1″) inch wide strip of paper from a standard (8.5″) by (11″) inch sheet. Twist one end one-half (1/2) a turn and then join the two ends together. What you end up with is a ring that has only one side, and you can prove this by drawing a line all the way along the one side and you will finish up on the same side where you started the line in the first place.

Knowing that there is no distinction between the inside and outside of the ring, but only one, long, continuous side, one can realize the oneness in all things and that God created everything from Himself, never from something other than or different from Himself. Materialistic thinkers, under the illusion of separation, tend to not be aware of the one energy behind all creation, and therefore remain under the sway of good and evil.

What Happens When You Cut all the Way around the Middle of the Mobius Strip?

Cut along the middle of the Mobius strip all along the same path as the line you drew along the center. Instead of getting two strips, you will end up with a much longer strip that twists itself into an infinity symbol! This again illustrates the illusion of separateness, and all that appears to be outside one’s self, is really the same thing as that which is within you. You (the observer) and the observed infinite universe all around and about you, are actually two sides of the same thing, only viewed from a different angle!

Cut along the Mobius Strip a Third Time!

Try cutting along the middle of the strip a third time and see what happens. This time, if you cut all the way around, instead of along the center and for symbolic purposes, cut two-thirds (2/3) over to the side so that one side is one-third (1/3) wide and the other side is two-thirds (2/3) of the original thickness, you end up with two (2) separate thinner loops, yet interlocked with each other that look like two (2) infinity symbols, one thinner than the other, both having the same length of the original infinity symbol.

What does all this mean? The broader ring would stand for the infinity of the Creator, or the unmanifested Infinite Father, beyond space and time. The thinner ring, effortlessly and perfectly aligned with the broader ring, stands for the manifested creation itself along with all its creatures and other living things, which is in itself quite vast and endless, but not quite as strong as the infinity of the Creator Himself!

I never imagined so much cosmic meaning and spiritual insight could be found within the Mobius ring! The design of the Mobius ring can also be found in sacred jewelry, fashioned from either gold or silver to help remind us of who we truly are.

This wonderful piece that hangs in the galleries of the Art Institute of Chicago by the Norwegian artist Thomas Fearnley is a masterpiece of garden painting. The scene shows a pergola with a gentleman sitting and reading in the aisle.

The painting is set in a large, long garden pergola with an abundance of flowers, oranges, and greenery. Halfway down the path is a gentleman quietly reading a paper taking in the afternoon air. The setting is very calm and there is not a cloud in the sky. On the left side of the pergola near the front sits a large earthen pot with pink roses in it. The pillars that are on both sides of the path are a bit worn which is a common feature of gardens.

Oranges are the focus of this painting for they are everywhere to be seen. The orange trees are growing on both sides of the path and a rather large orange tree rests on the right side and it’s branches lean over to cover the path. As you look down the pergola you can see more orange trees which end at the garden house which has a large wooden door prominently displayed.

Fernley as made use of One-Point Perspective to achieve the strong focus down the center of the path. If you will look you can see that all the lines that follow from the brick wall on the right side, the lower brick wall on the left, and the tops of the pillars all meet at the center of the garden house door.

The attention to detail is remarkable for one can see single leave blades everywhere rather than blurry brush strokes. The bark on all the trees is clearly rendered. The use of shade and shadow is exquisite, the white on the tall pillars make a wonderful contrast to the greenery all around. Light permeates every element of the painting and though the sun is still high the artist does not use dark tones in the shaded area (particularly on the lower right side near the base of the brick wall) where it would be natural to make a more dramatic statement. The statement to be made here is complete and utter tranquility. The gentleman seated in the chair is the only living element (aside from the plants) in this painting. The oranges that fill the trees make for a lovely accent to a serene afternoon in the garden.

Pitchers who throw side armed, referred to as sidewinders, are not that common, especially in the Big Leagues, so we seem to never discuss pitching side armed, but perhaps we should.

There is an abundance of scientific proof regarding the tremendous strain on the shoulder, elbow and wrist, pitching with an over handed or 3/4 delivery induces on our body, due to it being an abnormal motion for the affected body parts to move. In contrast, it’s well known how underhanded (softball ) pitchers can throw inning after inning, day after day, because the underhanded motion is a natural body motion.

The initial question one would ask is does a sidearm pitching motion reduce the amount of arm injuries, because it’s closer to a natural motion than the other pitching deliveries? There really isn’t enough available data, because of the few side armed pitchers, but it doesn’t appear side armed pitchers are any less immune to injury than any other baseball pitcher.

However, the seriousness and amount of certain injuries such as, susceptibility to hyper abduction and rotator cuff, will be less for a side armed pitcher due to the fact their elbow is lower than shoulder level during the delivery motion, unlike the other deliveries.

Looking at a few Pros and Cons of pitching side armed. Number one, not everyone can throw side armed as evidenced by the lack of side armed pitchers at all levels of baseball, ironically although tilted more towards a natural motion than overhand, for most people it is a very uncomfortable throwing position.

Another issue is the inability to achieve the velocity which an over handed pitcher can attain due to the increased use of the shoulder muscles and the overhand whipping motion.

However, an overhand pitch will rotate and spin on a Horizontal Axis which will have the ball travel in a normal trajectory, which a hitter may become accustomed to and will be able to guess the ball’s location.

A side armed pitch will rotate and spin on a Vertical Axis which will make the ball react in a different matter than what hitters are accustomed to. For instance, an over handed 4 seam fastball will hop and rise while approaching the plate, in contrast a side arm 4 seam fastball will sink instead.

One distinct advantage of the sidewinder is the unique and unusual release point of the ball. The ball, depending on the pitcher’s particular release point, could blend in with the white color of the pitching rubber, disguising the ball and making it harder to pick up and hit.

Additionally, a side armed pitcher can give the illusion he’s throwing the ball directly at the hitter, which may make it quite difficult for a hitter not to bail out.

The outfielder will extend his throwing arm backwards behind his body as far as possible, resembling a pitcher as he opens up, which allows for more and longer arm motion, creating more power.
