She seemed a little taken back at first but then warmed to me. When her husband arrived he was delighted that we were having a conversation and asked me to be her friend.

Yes! That is just what God wanted as well. It turned out that she was pregnant and in the absence of her mother she asked me to be at the birth. For some time, it happened that the empty spot in her heart for her mum was filled a little by my friendship.

There was a lot more to her story, however, and over the months that followed it all came out. She was from Iran, which had been taken over by the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, or Supreme Leader, after its king was deposed. The country was in a state of war with the west and the Iran-Iraq war followed.

The family sold up and fled to Turkey to escape the compulsory service by boys of age 12-14 who were forced to march in front of tanks to clear land mines. This lady’s brother was reaching that age. In Turkey he was sent to Sweden with people smugglers. She came to Australia with her husband, who had temporary residency, and the father went back to Iran.

The mother, however, was trapped in Turkey. She lived in constant fear of the police who had a policy of rounding up escapees from Iran and selling them back at the border. When this was presented to me the difficult situation seemed impossible to resolve as many had tried to get her out of the country without success.

My reincarnation and link to the Spirit of the Universe gave me a channel of communication and it was God who took over to free her and get her safely to Australia. It took time but she finally made it onto a flight that reunited her and her daughter after years of stress and separation.

When she arrived she had a paralysis down her left side due to a stroke that occurred on her way to Ankara and the Australian Embassy. As I touched her she immediately raised her arm above her head as the healing took place. The Spirit had already given her a dream of this happening and she was overjoyed.

The bottom line is that we don’t know who these people are who are forced to flee tyranny and persecution, but God does. Instead of looking upon them as strangers we need to embrace them and delve into their stories. Many are fearful of their new country, wherever that is, because of what has been driven into them from their homeland.

Racial prejudice is a state of mind and it needs to be overcome. Once we know these people and interact with them they have a chance to settle down and become friends.

Paganism covers many faiths, one being Wicca. Wiccans respect others in their beliefs and value the freedom of worship for everyone. Wiccans are polythesists who incorporate various Gods and Goddesses into their rituals. Most witches believe in reincarnation, hence the representation of the seasons, birth, death and rebirth. Some Wiccans believe we rest in Summerlands before being reincarnated. Summerlands is the place where we are reunited with our families and loved ones.

Wiccans do not believe in hell or the devil. Wiccans choose to refrain from negativity by being positive. We hold an individual responsible for their own evil actions.

Many witches honor the lord Horned God, the Lord of Animals, the sylvan lord of the greenwood. He is otherwise known as Pan, Herne or Cernunnos, a man with horns who is a great god of herds and fertility.

Some witches believe in angels, some faeries and some also believe in dragons. Each to their own.

The last two weeks have seen one film after the other on the death of Princess Diana and the landslide at Thredbo in New South Wales. Both events happened 20 years ago and while watching the anniversary services and other things the thought crossed my mind of why do we replay these events? The Australian first people have a policy that when someone dies their image should never be shown. It is not hard to understand why?

Many have gone from my life over the years and possibly as a result of all the replays of these death scenes many of them are coming back fresh in my mind. The world has such recall every year of wars, devastating battles, natural disasters, and terrorist events, such as 9/11 in the USA. We are not allowed to forget and move on while every one of these draws us back to the past. Surely we know in our hearts how these things affected us so do we really need constant reminders of them?

Because of my memory of reincarnation and link to the Spirit of the Universe I know that we have all returned to life after death. This is mentioned in the bible (Job 5:19-21) but few pay heed to it. It also states therein that we will all be back in our bodies for the last days (Isaiah 26:19). That means that death should be celebrated and not mourned.

The end is fast approaching and the massive rise in population speaks of the truth of these words as those who have passed are re-joining the living. The Spirit has used death to send its people around the world and now it is gathering them again into its own space (ibid 42:16-18).

Religions don’t know how the Spirit works and they are responsible for the anniversaries and the rituals the pretend are beneficial to the dead. Now, however, many are waking up to the lies and equally know that heaven and hell are tricks to fool the masses.

With that in mind it is folly to remember the dead because we may well be nursing them as babies before long. Many have given evidence of past lives and taken researchers back to where they died. Some have even solved their murder while others have reunited with parents whose children died in their young years.

OCTOBER 30, 2014. That’s our deceased son’s date of birth. We never got to meet him alive.

Nathanael Marcus was of full-term gestation, but he had two major challenges: a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia which meant profound compromise on lung capacity, and he had Pallister-Killian Syndrome. The second half of my wife’s pregnancy was not only a week-by-week proposition, it was also punctuated by eight amnioreduction procedures to relieve the excess production of amniotic fluid during the pregnancy. The journey even to Nathanael’s birth was the culmination of months of grief.

It’s almost as if his stillbirth was a marker for a voyage we – as a couple, and as a family of six – began. Until Nathanael had actually passed we couldn’t embark on the voyage. He had not gone to be with God yet.

The voyage’s destination is obvious: it’s a heavenly reconciliation we seek.

So, we have set out on this voyage we didn’t want to take. And all of us are required to take such a voyage eventually.

Grief, in many senses, is a lifelong process; we just end up at ‘acceptance’ and remain there. Acceptance is still part of the grief process.

Whilst we are on this voyage we pine for the destination, yet there are still too many reasons to enjoy the voyage; family is on board and we have things to do and achieve as the waves lap at the bow of life’s ship as it plunges through the whitecaps. There is a living hope to be enjoyed.

If we count where we are at, we are really not long past the harbour markers on this voyage, if we will live to the end of our natural lives. We may not reunite with our little boy for close to fifty years (or more?). He, who is ever missed, is with God, and, whilst we know God is here with us, we cannot be with God in the same way as Nathanael is. It’s not our time. Yet, in eternity, where there is no time, our son waits without waiting.

As our vessel steams out beyond the channel markers into the open seas of the coming year (and years/decades) we hope Nathanael’s memory will grow fonder and not more distant. We hope that the hope of seeing him one day will enrich the wonder in our hearts for the coming resurrected life.

The voyage is not filled with sadness, though there are appropriate times for such sentiment. The voyage is replete, however, with significance emotionally and spiritually; as deep as the fathoms below. Each mile traversed, each month, each milestone in this life, is followed by the heavenly host as witnesses as to how life continues on for us, the living. They see what we cannot. We may one day see it all for what it truly was.

In numerology, a tradition bound by spiritual evidence-the relationship between numbers and living things, all of us have three cycles, or Life Path Periods in our lifetime. To determine a person’s three Life Path Periods, one simply needs a person’s date of birth. Furthermore, if someone’s 3rd Life Path Period is 22, they are in rare company.

Life Path Periods

Based upon a person’s full date of birth, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Life Path Periods are derived from an individual’s month, day and year of birth, respectively. In numerology, all numbers reduce to a single digit, with the exception of the master numbers of 11 and 22. Therefore, to determine each Life Path Period for you, simply add the numbers together for either your month of birth, day of birth, or year of birth, and then reduce each addition to a single digit, excluding the numbers 11 and 22.

For example, assuming someone is born July 27, 1957, you would calculate his or her Life Path Periods as follows:

1st Period = Month of Birth of 7, (reduced = 7) = 7

2nd Period = Day of Birth of 27 (reduced, 2+7 = 9) = 9

Most people believe that the spirit of God is outside of us-believing that our Creator is sitting in heaven, away from us.
