Most would agree that positive mental attitude has power especially when it comes to kids playing youth sports. It would be very difficult to debate otherwise and I am sure you agree. Youth sports programs must work hard to constantly promote a positive attitude. This can be done through careful coaching and teaching kids respect for the game and integrity on the field.
Still, but there is truly no greater feeling than winning after you have worked hard to get there and played your heart out. Just ask the late Vince Lombardi, as it builds character to win, when you deserve it or if you lose but gave it every last ounce of your existence. This also develops a positive mental attitude that is re-enforced through the team and coach.
One gentleman that wishes to bring these great attitudes to youth sports is Charles Hellman, Founder of LuckySports. I believe this is noble: “LuckySports believes that youth sports should recognize a good coach and parental positive attitude and promote it until it becomes the industry standard for youth sports.” and worthy. It’s a great simple mission statement in and of itself, even without all the other lessons in his works.
If we can teach kids to do their best in sports, follow the rules, and build character, then our society will be so much more ahead in the future. The children are our future; they will soon be running things, sooner than we know. By promoting sports, fairness, and respect for the game with children and teens now, we will be building integrity into the next generation. Think on this.
Kids and Sports – The Power of Positive Mental Attitudes
Positive Mental Attitude
One of the few things we have complete control over is our attitude. When faced with adversity, we can choose to focus on the negative in the situation or the positive. A positive mental attitude, or PMA, is something everyone can adopt with a little practice. The benefits of a PMA are beyond comprehension, and according to many achievers, the number one reason for their success.
A positive mental attitude is seeing the benefits, opportunities, and good in situations rather than the setbacks, problems, and bad. More important, it is focusing on this positive and using it to your advantage. PMA is asking how something can be done rather than saying it can’t be done. It is the driving force behind persistence and perseverance.
There is a belief that nothing in this world is “good” or “bad”, but rather everything is balanced and it is only our perception that makes good and bad. Whether you believe that to be true or not, it is hard to debate that perception and attitude have much to do with how we view the world.
Shortly after adopting a positive mental attitude you will find more opportunities, successes, and “good luck” in your life than ever before. The main reason for this is the universal principle that like attracts like. PMA is a snowball effect that, once begun, builds and grows stronger with each positive event in your life. Conversely, negative thought does the same, which is why it can be very difficult for negative people to change.
The list of benefits of adopting a positive mental attitude goes on, however, one of the most compelling reasons for adopting a PMA is that it is the major part of having an attractive personality. Most people do not like to be around negative people. A positive mental attitude shows in everything you say and do from casual conversation to your performance at work. A PMA will help you in just about anything you do including increasing your income, being promoted at work, getting a new job, and in strengthening your relationships. With these kinds of benefits, why would anyone choose negativity?
Developing a positive mental attitude, like everything else, takes practice to master. Here are some suggestions to help you build your PMA.
- Scrutinize every event in your life that appears negative and look for the positive. Make a written list if you have to of all the good that resulted from the negative event or situation. Do NOT give up until your list of positives is equal to or greater than the negative. After forcing yourself to do this for a while, this thought process will happen instantaneously. It really is almost miraculous the difference it will make in your life.
- Surround yourself with positive people. Negativity is even more contagious than the common cold. It spreads like a wildfire that is out of control and the best way to avoid it is to stay out of its path. However, I am not a believer in ditching those you spend time with, unless necessary. Instead, be extra positive when around these people and watch it “rub off” onto them. Send those you know that could use some help with their PMA this article (e-mail feature below). You can also start spending more time with positive people and less time with those whom you find negative. The right on-line communities, such as the YearToSuccess.com discussion board and chat room are excellent places to meet those who share the same positive mental attitude goals.
- Read and listen to positive, motivational and inspirational material. Bookstores and libraries have a wide selection; you just need to know where to look.
- Avoid the morning news and news before bedtime. It is almost always morbid and depressing. Instead start and end your day with inspirational music or just good conversation (even if with yourself!)
- If you catch yourself thinking negatively or especially projecting a negative attitude STOP IMMEDIATELY, take a deep breath, and do everything in the first suggestion.
With a positive mental attitude on your side you will find yourself a magnet to a never ending stream of positive events that will improve your quality of life and the lives of those around you. A PMA will certainly bring you one giant leap closer to success.

Words have a dominant impact on your way of thinking. Stay away from words such as problems, don’t, impossible and difficult as warning signs to inform you when you are nearing the safer boundaries of mental awareness.
Top 5 Mental Math Methods in the World
Today you can define mental math in various different ways. Some would say, memorizing times table and remembering the solutions can form the part of mental mathematics. Some would say ability to perform simple calculations in your head can be mental mathematics.
The web dictionary defines mental mathematics as “Computing an exact answer without using pencil and paper or other physical aids.”
Today there are five methods available to learn and practice mental mathematics.
Let’s begin with the first one called ‘Learning by Heart’ or better known as the rote memorizing method where your teachers ask you to mug up boring multiplication tables. It not only kills the interest of the child in mathematics but also makes sure that he develops hatred towards the subject for the rest of the years he studies it. This system gives its ardent devotee some degree of success initially as he is able to answer easy problems but then when the supposedly bigger application problems come the steam is almost over.
The second one gives you a good degree of success and I would highly recommend it to the younger lot out there. It hails from China and is popular by the name of The Abacus (also known as the Soroban in Japan). An abacus is a calculating tool, often constructed as a wooden frame with beads sliding on wires. With the use of this tool one can perform calculations relating to addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with ease. Gradually one practices with the tool in one’s hand and later on when experienced he learns to do it without the tool. This tool is then fitted into the mind mentally and he can then add, subtract multiply and divide in seconds. This tool also enhances a child’s concentration levels.
The main drawback of this system is that it focuses only on the 4 mathematical operations. Concepts beyond these operations such as Algebra, Square Roots, Cubes, Squares, Calculus, and Geometry etc cannot be solved using it at all. Also one needs a longer time to be able to fully get a grasp of the system hence you see courses in the abacus stretching to over 2 years which leads the child to boredom and then quitting from the course.
Another Chinese system mainly collected from the book The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art lays out an approach to mathematics that centers on finding the most general methods of solving problems. Entries in the book usually take the form of a statement of a problem, followed by the statement of the solution, and an explanation of the procedure that led to the solution.
The methods explained in this system can hardly be termed mental and they lack speed to top it all. The Chinese were definitely the most advanced of the civilization thanks to the Yangtze and Yellow Rivers but if I were to choose out of the two methods given by this culture It would be the abacus.
If wars have a 99.99% downside, sometimes they can have an upside too for they give birth to stories of hope and creativity. The next mental math system was developed during the Second World War in the Nazi Concentration Camp by a Ukrainian Mathematician Jakow Trachtenberg to keep his mind occupied. What resulted is now known as the Trachtenberg Speed System of Mathematics and consists of Rapid Mental Methods of doing Mathematics.
The system consists of a number of readily memorized patterns that allow one to perform arithmetic computations very quickly. It has wider applications than the Abacus and apart from the four basic operation methods it covers Squares and Square Roots.
The method focuses mostly on Multiplication and it even gives patterns for multiplication by particular number say 5,6,7 and even 11 and 12. It then gives a general method for rapid multiplication and a special two finger method. After practicing the method myself I realized that the multiplication was a very applicable mental method but the other methods covered to solve division and square roots were not very friendly and were impossible to be done mentally. I was in search of a much better wholesome method where I could easily perform other operations also. Another drawback of this system was that it too like the abacus failed to have a wider scope i.e to encompass other fields like Algebra, Calculus, Trignometry, Cube Roots etc
A Recommendation by a friend of mine from America introduced me to what is known as the Kumon Math Method. It was founded by a Japanese educator Toru Kumon in 1950s and as of 2007 over 4 million children were studying under the Kumon Method in over 43 different countries.
Students do not work together as a class but progress through the curriculum at their own pace, moving on to the next level when they have achieved mastery of the previous level. This sometimes involves repeating the same set of worksheets until the student achieves a satisfactory score within a specified time limit. In North American Kumon Centers, the mathematics program starts with very basic skills, such as pattern recognition and counting, and progresses to increasingly challenging subjects, such as calculus, probability and statistics. The Kumon Method does not cover geometry as a separate topic but provides sufficient geometry practice to meet the prerequisites for trigonometry, which is covered within the Kumon math program.
I was much impressed with the glamour around Kumon but a glimpse of its curriculum deeply disappointed me. It is not mental at all. It does not offer any special methods to do mathematics and one does not improve one’s speed by doing Kumon Math. There is a set curriculum of worksheets which one does till one achieves mastery in the subject. So say for example a sheet on Divison- one would continue to do division by the conventional method till he gets a satisfactory score and then he moves on to a higher level. This certainly doesn’t make division any faster and the process is certainly not mental.
A deep thought on the reason of its tremendous popularity in America led me to conclude was the lack of a franchisee business model of the abacus and the Trachtenberg speed system in the 1950s. The franchisee model was essential in taking the course from country to country. This is where Toru Kumon thrived.
Dissapointed with other cultures in the world, my search made me look in my own Indian culture. What I found astonished and amazed me so much that I fell in love with the system and started coaching neighbourhood students in it.
This is easily the World’s Fastest Mental Mathematics System called High Speed Vedic Mathematics. It has its roots in Ancient Indian Scriptures called the Vedas meaning ‘the fountain head of knowledge’. With it not only you can add, subtract, multiply or divide which is the limiting factor of the abacus but you can also solve complex mathematics such as algebra, geometry, Calculus, and Trigonometry. Some of the most advanced, complex and arduous problems can be solved using the Vedic Maths method with extreme ease.
And all this with just 16 word formulas written in Sanskrit.
High Speed Vedic Mathematics was founded by Swami Sri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaja who was the Sankaracharya (Monk of the Highest Order) of Govardhan Matha in Puri between 1911 and 1918. They are called “Vedic” as because the sutras are contained in the Atharva Veda – a branch of mathematics and engineering in the Ancient Indian Scriptures.
High Speed Vedic Mathematics is far more systematic, simplified and unified than the conventional system. It is a mental tool for calculation that encourages the development and use of intuition and innovation, while giving the student a lot of flexibility, fun and satisfaction . For your child, it means giving them a competitive edge, a way to optimize their performance and gives them an edge in mathematics and logic that will help them to shine in the classroom and beyond.
Therefore it’s direct and easy to implement in schools – a reason behind its enormous popularity among academicians and students. It complements the Mathematics curriculum conventionally taught in schools by acting as a powerful checking tool and goes to save precious time in examinations.
The Trachtenberg Method is often compared to Vedic Mathematics. Infact even some of the multiplication methods are strikingly similar. The Trachtenberg system comes the closest to the Vedic System in comparison and ease of the methods. But the ease and mental solvability of the other method especially division, square roots, cube roots, Algebraic Equations, Trigonometry, Calculus etc clearly gives the Vedic System an edge. Even NASA is said to be using some of this methods applications in the field of artificial intelligence.
There are just 16 Vedic Math sutras or word formulas which one needs to practice in order to be efficient in Vedic Math system. Sutras or Word Math Formulas such as the Vertically and Crosswise, All from Nine and Last from ten helps to solve complex problems with ease and also a single formula can be applied in two or more fields at the same time. The Vertically and Crosswise formula is one such gem by which one can multiply, find squares, solve simultaneous equations and find the determinant of a matrix all at the same time.
If either of these methods is learned at an early age, a student aged 14 can perform lightening fast calculations easily during his examinations and ace through them.
Vedic Mathematics is fast gaining popularity in this millennium. It is being considered as the only mental math system suited for a child as it helps to develop his numerical as well as mental abilities. The methods are new and practical and teach only Mental Rapid Mathematics.
The system does not focus on learning by repetition as in the Kumon Method. The system focuses on improving intelligence by teaching fundamentals and alternate methods. The purpose is not limited to improving performance in the school or tests, but on providing a broader outlook resulting in improved mathematical intelligence and mental sharpness.

This Article is by Gaurav Tekriwal,, The President of the Vedic Maths Forum India who has been conducting High Speed Vedic Math Workshops for the last five years and has trained over seven thousand students across the world in the field. He is the author of the best selling DVD on the subject which contains over 10 hours on the subject. He is an expert in the field and revolutionizes the way children learn math.
Sales Principles & The Mental Health Profession – Strategies That Lead To Success In The Marketplace
CHALLENGES FOR THE PROFESSION
Mental Health issues make their way across the newswire at an alarming rate. We hear about teenage suicide, random acts of violence, an increase in depression and anxiety across all ages, substance abuse, complex trauma at home and abroad. Even more alarming are societal maladies that are rarely discussed. Children forever lost in chaotic homes where violence and sexual abuse is pervasive with national and local systems ill equipped to effectively address these tragedies. Such is the world a mental health professional finds herself/himself thrust into as part of a calling to serve and help those suffering psychological and emotional pain.
A mental health career is a noble and courageous endeavor, which can come at a significant price. We see state governments use mental health services as a scapegoat for poor financial management and planning, choosing to balance their Medicaid books at the expense of community based mental health programs. As a result, mental health practitioners are asked to serve effectively with few resources, little pay and even fewer options to grow professionally.
Mental health services in the private sector are equally challenging. Insurance companies devalue these services as evidenced by limited reimbursement rates, few behavioral healthcare plans for employees, and the implementation of complex and convoluted systems that test the most patient and saint-worthy of practitioners.
In spite of all these challenges in the mental health marketplace, there are specific business strategies and approaches practitioners can adopt in an effort to overcome these obstacles and ultimately triumph in the profession. In this article I discuss many of the key strategies and will expound on them in greater detail in future publications. The understanding and use of best-in-class sales and marketing principles will serve to complement an already rich skill set that will help mental health professionals succeed in ways they may not have imagined possible!
SECRETS OF SUCCESS & THE SALES STIGMA
The business world is changing at an incredibly fast pace and many of these changes have a profound impact on the way people do business. Most of us in the mental health field, however, remain blissfully ignorant and unaware of these subtle but powerful events. Those lucky few who become aware of some of these changes (e.g., technological advances that decentralize and empower people at all levels; new concepts in sales & marketing that enable you to grow your business at hyper-speed using a sophisticated multimedia approach) are presented with a window of opportunity that can lead to tremendous growth and independence. Opportunities abound for those who are open to some of these new ideas and willing to integrate new concepts into their mental health service model. The key lies in how highly skilled mental health professionals approach the marketplace and what tools they choose to use in order to succeed in a competitive environment. As a licensed clinician and mental health consultant for over 15 years I have seen many success stories that were the direct result of the effective use of the key principles I discuss in this article.
A key area most mental health professionals are sorely lacking and unaware is in understanding, utilizing and integrating sophisticated sales skills within their practice! Did you say sales skills?! Yes, indeed I did. Clinicians receive heavy doses of clinical training in graduate schools and continuing education programs. However, very little is offered in terms of how to succeed in the profession from both a financial and career development perspective. There are business seminars focusing on billing practices, business systems, and various administrative tasks but few if any discuss the power and importance of sales skills in our profession. This area is often so untapped that adopting even some of the more basic principles will immediately distinguish you in the profession and give you an extreme economic advantage in the mental health marketplace.
At first glance the idea of adopting sales principles conjures up images of self-serving, manipulative tactics and ploys. As a result, a sales approach is often the furthest from the mind of a mental health professional. However, this position is misguided and comes from a limited understanding of sales theory and practice in general. First and foremost, selling and the sales process is a critical element in all areas of commerce. No business takes place without a sales transaction of some sort or another. Mental Health services are not utilized unless a sale is made and someone chooses to use a specific service, you are not hired into a clinical position unless you effectively sell yourself to the hiring manager, a private practice does not last long without consistent sales for services, and funding for community programs is not awarded unless a government entity is sold on the need and importance of those services. As a result, our first step here is to acknowledge and accept that sales are a critical part of the process in the mental health business.
Once we come to recognize this fact we must also dispel the myth about sales being a sleazy and unethical profession that utilizes manipulative and self-serving tactics at the expense of others. Like any profession, there are theoretical frameworks and people within the business who would no doubt support these negative stereotypes. However, when we take a closer look at the sales profession we find that it can also be a highly sophisticated, philosophical and value driven profession that is perfectly suited for the helping professions.
UNRAVELING THE SALES SKILL MYSTERY: ESSENTIAL PRINCIPLES TO HELP YOU STAND OUT
Having taken a closer look at the importance and scope of sales our next logical step is to explore sales theory and application in greater detail. I have grouped various sales skills/approaches into 4 Core Principles in an effort to help clarify and organize these concepts in a way that makes sense. I must also emphasize that adopting these principles will quickly position you ahead of your competitors! They are extremely powerful principles in that they all contribute to a fundamental shift essential to success in business. What is this shift? The shift I am referring to is a movement away from participating in the selling process to becoming an important/critical part of the buying process. Lead sales experts such as Dale Carnegie, Frank Rumbauskas, and Jeffery Gitomer all emphasize the importance of this paradigm shift in order to achieve high levels of success.
So what does it mean when you talk about moving from the selling process to the buying process? Simply put, your current efforts to sell your services can be a difficult and unrewarding process. At its core it is a process whereby you are not in a position of strength, where you tend to focus on your own interests and where you must seek out others and convince others to use your services. Now what would life be like as a mental health practitioner if people recognized you as an authority in the field or as someone who adds tremendous value and can help them with their needs? When a change occurs where you are viewed as a valuable resource and partner people begin to seek you out without any soliciting on your part. Business comes to you and you find yourself in what sales professionals refer to as being a key part of the buying process. The best thing about this approach is that its foundation is based on integrity, honoring your unique attributes, bringing value and helping others – all hallmarks of the mental health profession.
Let me offer an example to clarify my point. Let’s say you are a mental health clinician who has been in the field many years, you have an expertise in family/child issues and you decide to offer a group on parenting skills. You attend networking events but find that everyone at those events is pitching their own service and not seeking services to buy. Attendees shower you with praise and tout your service as “much needed” and “long overdue”, however, you generate little to no business from those events. You advertise your group to doctors offices and through basic networking channels such as local counseling chapters and school systems. Still no one comes.
The issue here is not necessarily missing the mark in terms of community needs nor is it an issue of skill and competence. People are not coming to you because you have not tapped into the buying process. In the buying scenario, you have built a level of credibility in the community and positioned yourself in such a way that they must go through you in order to access these specific mental health services. Your sales approach and philosophy prompts those in the community to recognize you, talk about you and value you as an important resource. In addition, you create communication channels/systems and remove barriers/obstacles that encourage and allow others to take the next step toward utilizing your services. If you can create this shift your ability to grow as a practitioner multiplies exponentially and with half of the effort! The principles outlined here all contribute to making that change.
Let’s take a closer look at each of these principles.
Principle 1: Be Solution/Customer Focused
Many people in all areas of business mistakenly take an approach where they sell their services versus selling solutions. A distinguishing factor for most people who are successful in their industry is that they are customer focused, meaning they sell the way the customer wants to buy. They focus solely on the needs, problems, wants of the customer and work to find solutions that will help that customer. This concept sounds basic and simple, however, it takes dedication and a high level of skill to be customer focused in the way I am referring to here. Below are some key factors associated with this approach.
- Sell the way customers want to buy. (Take time to understand customer needs, concerns, problems and wants. Show them you understand them and offer solutions even if it means referring them to someone else who can help.)
- Give Value! (Use an altruistic approach. Deliver something to potential customers without any expectation of something in return.)
- Recognize the only way you get others to do something is if you give them what they want. (Manipulative tactics and high-pressure sales tactics do not work. Be persuasive not manipulative and know the difference!)
- Go above and beyond and be remembered! (Over-deliver on services, give of yourself to the community in unique ways, follow-through in ways that highly impress.)
- Create a buying atmosphere. (Study customer needs, business systems and their unique market. Provide solutions and remove barriers/obstacles that gives them permission to buy.)
- The Power of Presence: Listen First, Talk Last and Ask Excellent Questions! (It is the rare individual who truly focuses on the customer in the here and now. Use your clinical skills to understand the needs of the customer.)
Principle 2: Build Credibility & Legitimacy
Do you want to attract high quality referrals for your business? Develop a plan that will position you as an expert in targeted areas within your profession.
- Become an expert in something. And share that knowledge for free!
- Understand and study social dynamics and the psychology of power. (Know its role in the sales process and in your profession. Use this knowledge to be in a position of strength with regards to the buying process.)
- Build credibility and attract what you view as “high-quality referrals” by giving yourself to the community. (e.g., free advice, free services, helpful hints/tips.)
- Become Published. (Opportunities abound to become published – See Mark Joyner’s e-book “Rise of the Author.” There is tremendous power in being published.)
- Study the art of presenting and find opportunities to present. (This is perhaps the best value proposition for you as a mental health professional! It builds credibility and creates powerful networks.)
Principle 3: Think Long-Term
Too often we focus on short-term immediate business needs and neglect longer lasting more powerful methods that lead to much greater growth. Focus on relationships and you will create solid sales processes and networks that will enable you to reach much higher levels of success.
- Stop focusing on the short term and work to build lasting relationships that will lead to referrals and other opportunities.(Sales expert, Jeffrey Gitomer, in his great sales book, The Little Red Book of Selling, says it this way, “Think End of Time not end of Month.”)
- Focus on others first.(Help colleagues, community members and prospective clients without expectation of something in return.)
- Always be a resource! (Offer assistance and solutions even if it has nothing to do with your area of expertise. Leverage the expertise of others and share the wealth! Helping professional colleagues will also lead to your long-term success.)
- Let go of the need/want to benefit yourself and act with the intent of helping others. (In today’s self-serving world it is the rare individual who functions in this manner. And yet, it is a distinguishing factor in a competitive marketplace.)
- Long-term strategies are equally effective in one’s career development as they are in business development.(Strategies such as informational interviewing and volunteering often lead to significantly better career and advancement opportunities.)
Principle 4: Use Intelligent and Technically Advanced Marketing Systems
Top sales performers in all businesses create effective systems that free up their time for more value driven activities and help create communication and buying vehicles that produce a powerful buying environment for the customer.
- Leverage technology to market yourself and to create a buying atmosphere.(e.g., website development, public relations & media opportunities such as e-articles, e-books, audio programs, video snapshots.)
- Automate business activities that are non-essential to your core growth opportunities. (Use technology to automate key activities and identify personnel that can help you work more efficiently.)
- Build communities that allow for sharing of ideas and networking opportunities. (e.g.,online forums, lunch & learns, supervision meetings.)
- Understand marketing principles that will effectively brand you.(Social marketing and Viral Marketing are two powerful concepts that leverage the incredible growth in technology. Learn these and others to increase your growth as a successful mental health practitioner and businessperson!)
- Know the sales cycle for your profession and be persistent with your value messages. (Market Research tells us it typically takes 6-10 exposures to your message before a buying decision is made. Create vehicles that give you a high level of visibility.)
IN CLOSING
The material presented here is merely an introduction to the powerful concepts of selling and how they can be effectively utilized and integrated within a mental health practice. Each of the areas outlined above contain a tremendous amount of depth and richness that require further discussion and clarification in order to gain the full benefits. In the coming months I will look at each principle in greater detail in an effort to clarify concepts, introduce new tools and offer excellent resources from some of the experts in the world of sales and marketing.
Thank you for your attention and all the best in your future endeavors within the field!
Three Steps To Better Mental Health
There are three simple things you can do to support your mental health and wellness, no matter what diagnosis you have.
The first is to STOP.
Stop running in circles – stop torturing yourself, and others and stop telling yourself that you can ignore it and ‘it’ will go away. There’s no way to change your diagnosis – but you can find ways to live with it, via medication, support, or your own way.
The second is to accept.
Denial in all forms is one of the hardest reactions to get past. We’re raised in a society that believes ‘normal’ is the most valuable commodity in describing and categorizing people. Whilst being ‘normal’ is no more than a state of mind, being a depressive, or a bipolar, or having ADHD, or any of a myriad of other medical diagnoses doesn’t mean you’re not ‘normal’.
After all, its normal for you.
Getting your head around that concept is one of the best ways to start adjusting to and understanding how your world relates to you, and your disorder. Which, in turn, gives you a way to adjust to and integrate your diagnosis into your life. And once you’ve adjusted and can integrate everything you have to live with, you’ll find your life is much more satisfying.
And the third and final step is to live.
There is no physical way to change what you are at diagnosis. You may get better – and you can control anything that you’re diagnosed with by taking prescribed medical action, be that medication, counseling and beyond.
Many people give in when diagnosed. They say they’re fighting, they say they’re losing the battle. But most people forget simply to live, thrive, and survive their disease. There is no reason not to live on, after diagnosis – and no reason to give in.
The New Renaissance – Platonic Thought Forms and Mental Health
The emerging Plato-Fullerene medical science of life poses questions related to the role of the Classical Platonic Thought Forms in maintaining mental health. Is it possible that Plato’s ethical thought forms, which were fused into the structure of Anaxagoras’ Nous, might provide rigorous scientific concepts pertaining to our present state of mental well being? Lord Bertrand Russell, in 1903 advised the working man to accept, with despair, his lot, imposed by a science ruled by the dictatorial second law ot thermodynamics. Plato’s Thought Forms werenot associated at all with the construction of that nightmare of continual anxiety imposed upon society by entropic law. Therefore, in the light of the recent Plato-Fullerene medical discoveries made by Nobel Laureates in Medicine, Platonic mental health concepts warrant discussion.
In 1979 China’s highest awarded physicist, Kun Huang, proposed that new physics laws existed governing optimum biological growth and development through space-time. He proposed that the ancient Greek Golden Mean life-science reasoning was much more advanced than had been realised by modern Western science. He thought that by observing Golden Mean patterning changes to life forms, recorded within the world’s fossil record, in particular seashell fossils, new physics laws governing optimum biological growth and development through space-time could be discovered.
In Australia, the Science-Art Research Centre established a methodology to employ Huang’s suggested research program, by upgrading the Classical Greek science of life. This resulted in a discovery by the Centre’s mathematician, Chris Illert. who became the first person to prove that the famous seashell fossil, Nipponites Mirabilis, influenced the design of a living seashell creature by optical physics laws functioning through 20 million years of space-time. In 1990 this life-science discovery was selected for reprinting from the 20th Century world literature by IEEE-SPIE Milestone Series in Washington.
In 1995, Illert’s mathematics won a biology prize under the auspices of the Basic Research Institute in the USA. The Australian Centre’s director considered that the geometrical logic used to generate the healthy biological growth and development simulations through space-time was based upon fractal logic. Therefore, Kun Huang would have been quite correct in considering that the framers of modern Western science had constructed an inadequate scientific world-view, because modern science prohibits linking any life-science to the infinite logic of fractal geometry. The Centre accepted that the present entropic world-view’s scientific culture, totally governed by an unbalanced understanding of the second law of thermodynamics was innately cancerous.
Years later, the Harvard Smithsonian/NASA Astrophysics High Energy Division Library, published, a paper by Petar Grujic, the Science Advisor to the Belgrade Institute of Physics. The paper argued that the work of the Greek philosopher, Anaxagoras, was derived from fractal geometrical logic. The Platonic tradition of Greek life-science philosophy was based upon fusing ethics into the Nous of Anaxagorus, in order to prevent the destruction of human civilisation. Because of its unbalanced and inadequate understanding of the second law of thermodynamics, modern science cannot conceive the possibility of any science of life being linked to the logic of fractal geometrical logic.
The balancing of universal entropic energy by the evolution of conciousness is basic to the functioning of the fractal logic Nous. The Nobel Laureate in Medicine, Szent-Gyoergyi, described scientists who did not understand about this balance between entropy and evolving consciousness, as being barbarians (the term actually used was crazy apes). In his 1959 Cambridge University Rede Lecture, the Molecular Biologist, Sir C P Snow, referred to these same barbarians, as thinking like their Neolithic cave dwelling ancestors.
Plato also described engineers who did not understand his spiritual (holographic) engineering principles, as barbarians, only fit for destructive warfare. Evil, (as a non-ethic) was defined specifically by Plato as being a property of unformed matter within the Greek’s physically indivisible atom. This simplistic depiction of nuclear atomic radiation is now of interest. The Plato-Fullerene synergistic fractal logic life-science has become basic to the C Sixty Inc., medical science established by the three 1996 Nobel Laureates in Chemistry. Platonic thought forms are now relevant to an uprading of Szent-Gyoergyi’s science of medicine.
Thought forms are now known to be relevant to holographic chemistry. Entropic thought forms may not necessarily be lethally carcinogenic, however, the law of universal atomic decay, governing the physics of modern chemistry most obviously is. Szent-Gyoergyi’s medical linking of conciousness to a balanced functioning of entropy, is directly related to the new balancing Plato-Fullerene life-science.
The Science-Art Centre’s colleague, Chris Degenhardt has conducted research into the Nous’ Music of the Spheres whirling spin force, held to convey information relevant to the healthy evolution of seashell growth and development through space-time. Degenhardt investigated the construction of the Nous Space-Time Model postulated by the Centre’s colleague, Mark Robinson. The Robinson model was referred to within a quantum biological paper written by Huping Hu and Maoxin Wu in the June 2007 edition of NeuroQuantology. The paper was about how electron spin influenced brain and mind in defiance of the present inadequate understanding of the second law of thermodynamics.
According to the Robinson model of the Nous of Space-time, past, present and future, form one instant of time, associated with the harmonic resonance properties of light. Degenhardt considers that fractal geometrical symmetry and asymmetry combine their particular properties to present mental access to the omini Nous self organising evolutionary purpose, which appears to Degenhardt to be consistent within the Robinson model. The ‘present’ component of the Robinson space-time ‘instant,’ is considered to combine stored information and potential omni information to balance entropy. This component of the Nous is seen to allow evolving mind to utilise Sir Isaac Newton’s proposed property of light’s interaction with gravity to provide evolutionary information. This transmission of evolving Nous-wisdom, permeates throughout the entire universe instantaneously through Newton’s concept of non local effect. Newton’s physics principles to balance the present inadequate understanding of life-forces were derived from the harmonic properties of particle movement generated by the Nous.
Robinson’s model according to Degenhardt, allows for the existence of crucial electromagnetic opportunities within Nous functioning. These opportunities are considered to allow mind to accommodate the Nous’ omni self organising principles of fractal logic life-science. The Plato-Fullerene chemistry of life, emerging as distinct from the existing entropic death chemistry, makes a clear medical statement to both Robinson and Degenhardt. The present entropic cancerous mind-set need not go into a terminal state when Fuller’s synergistic argument for either Utopia or Oblivion, is understood to be a factual medical concern.
It can be considered that the new Plato-Fullerene life-science established by the three 1996 Nobel Laureates in Chemistry hold the secrets of human survival. However, within the machinations of entropic capitalism, it can be observed that overwhelming legalised predator activity would prevail to obstruct is vital implementation. However, the generation of rigorous computer life-science simulations, similar to the above mentioned successful seashell discoveries, can provide proof statements basic to new environmental survival legislation, in order to solve this crucial problem.
The prize winning Chemistry of the Florentine New Measurement of Humanity Project, under the banner of the New Florentine Renaissance, has also compiled relevant factual research pertaining to the questions raised within this essay. Hopefully, the medical proof statements to validate the Project’s purpose, beyond all doubt, will soon come into existence and their importance for human survival will become reflected in the proposed new ‘knowledge economics’ legislation.

Winning: Revealed Secrets of Mental Training and Mental Toughness in Sports and Fitness
Three secrets in developing mental toughness were recently revealed by a former Navy SEAL and Navy SEAL instructor, Phil Black. These will lead you to develop greater levels of mental toughness and to dominate your game and workout. They are simple to use and highly effective. They are used by some of the most elite athletes on this planet.
There are many aspects of mental toughness and mental training, but the principles are simple and can be rooted down into a few main components. It doesn’t matter if it’s for sports like baseball, basketball, tennis or boxing. Or for fitness like running, weight lifting, or martial arts. These principles of mental fitness, the psychology of it, can be applied in any area.
First what is mental toughness? It is the ability to persist during events that go wrong, are difficult and/or strenuous. It is the ability to keep your internal dialogue, your self talk, positive despite negative external occurrences.
From when you were born until the age of 18, you were told “no” 150,000 times. That is 700 times a month or 22 times a day! People tell you, “no, get away from there” and “Stop doing that”. Some of these were to prevent you from danger, some to prevent you growing because of other people’s fears or ignorance.
This causes you to be highly susceptible to negative influence. Psychologist have found that 77% or internal self talk is negative and counteracting. Do you realize how much of our potential is being held back?
I know you have likely heard that there are no limits on what we can be, have and do, and this statistic shows pretty clearly that we are the ones that hold our selves back more than anything else.
So you must control your mind or “they” will do it for you. This is how Navy SEALs have done it:
- Monitor your self talk, that internal dialogue of what you are telling yourself everyday. Become a watcher of your mind. Are you thinking positive thoughts or negative thoughts? What are you feeling like on a day-to-day and moment-to-moment basis? Are you adding to the negative side or the positive side? For two days, write everything down that is negative, for 48 hours. Just your negative thoughts, because you want to become aware of how much of what you think is negative. Remember psychologist found that on average 77% or your internal talk is negative, what percent is yours?
- Filter out negative events and thoughts. What kind of material do you read? What type of people do you hang out with? How often do you laugh with those around you? That is an indicator of how well things are going. Become purposeful about what you let into your mind, put on a filter and screen out negative influences. Your environment, the people you associate, and the things you read or listen to are big influencers on the way you think. In a positive environment, it is much easier to weather any storm that comes.
- Reframe all negative events in a positive light. Use your sense of humor and your brain will encode it differently. Just because something is negative, doesn’t mean that you have to accept it that way. Much of life is how you respond to it. If your training is difficult and demanding, you could say, “Ha! Ha! This workout is killing me, is this all there is? I want some more, I’m just warming up. I’m tougher than all of this, you can’t defeat me!”
These are three simple things that you can keep in mind when you are training in the sports you like or the fitness goals you have.
The Power of Mental Health
Mental health is something all of us want for ourselves, whether we know it by name or not. There are no easy answers here – mental fitness is the awkward stepchild you sent away to the state hospital in the country and visited once a year.
In fact good mental health is an integral part of good overall health for people with HIV. Primary Care Mental Condition is a new, peer-reviewed journal on research, education, development and delivery of mental health in primary care. But mental health is far more than merely the absence of mental illness.
Depressions are the greatest Problem
People are four times more likely to break off a romantic relationship if their partner is diagnosed with severe depression than if they develop a physical disability. Overall, the two strongest predictors for thinking about suicide were depression and substance abuse.
Through compelling personal stories told through television, video, the Internet, and print media, the campaign encourages men to recognize depression and its impact on their work, home, and community life. However it will also enable Cam-mind to launch a project designed to help employers tackle stress, anxiety and depression in the workplace. But what’s the difference between “normal” feelings of sadness and the feelings caused by depression.
Topics covered vary widely, from healthy self esteem in adolescence and signs of depression to resources for diagnosing mental health problems in children.
Problems about Mental Condition
Those with schizophrenia are particularly likely to face problems: 20% of women said they would break up with a partner who was diagnosed with the condition. The research team have also found that stress at work is associated with a 50 per cent excess risk of coronary heart disease, and there is consistent evidence that jobs with high demands, low control, and effort-reward imbalance are risk factors for mental and physical health problems (major depression, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders).
The Mental Condition and Poverty Project called on the SAHRC to consider setting up a commission that will primarily focus on the needs of people with mental health problems. Even the best-trained psychiatrists do not necessarily have an internship in the problems of normal living. “What many people don’t realise is that we all have mental health – just as we have physical health – and that mental health problems can affect anyone, whatever their age or background.
Psychological therapies are based on talking and working with people to understand the causes and triggers of mental health problems and on developing practical strategies to deal with them.
Searching for Information
The first step is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illnesses, using targeted public education activities that are designed to provide the public with factual information about mental illnesses and to suggest strategies for enhancing mental fitness, much like anti-smoking campaigns promote physical health.
It therefore makes good sense for people with HIV to have information about the ways in which HIV can affect their mental health and about common mental fitness issues such as depression, anxiety and emotional distress. This comprehensive information resource for child mental Condition and parenting information includes articles, resources, a glossary, an Ask the Expert section, a disorder guide, publications, and FAQs.
Offers useful information explaining educational evaluations, and also lists interventions that may be used to address various mental fitness conditions, including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and more.
Mental Condition is more important than physical health. Mental fitness is more than the absence of mental disorders Mental health can be conceptualized as a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.
In this positive sense, mental health is the foundation for well-being and effective functioning for an individual and for a community.
Quantum Physics and Mental Radionics – Part 2
QP + MR = HEALTH
In my previous past (Quantum Physics and Mental Radionics) I described in detail the workings of the Quantum Ocean and Mental Radionics. They are gifts given to us by the Age of Aquarius. We have just entered the Age of Aquarius, and have about 1950 years to go before we enter the Age of Capricorn.
The three most important things in our lives are health, wealth and loving relationships.
Let us talk about health in this article. Quantum Physics, Mental Radionics and Health to be more exact.
We are energy beings. We all are not solid physical bodies. We are several energy fields (Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual) held together by our Aura (Panty Hose) which surrounds us.
In the Quantum Ocean (Mind of God) there exists and archetype or blueprint of a human being. This is the cookie cutter that our Soul uses to create a physical body when it ‘blinks out’ of the Quantum Ocean. (Infinite Ocean of Thinking Energy) into the physical world of time and space.
A brand new Soul, so to speak, or a Soul that is experiencing it’s first physical incarnation would ‘blink out’ and create a perfectly healthy body.
But alas, most of us are older Souls and we have collected down through the a Ages of our incarnations may non-divine energies which have attached themselves to our Souls.
So when we ‘blink out’ into another incarnation our Soul has to use a physical blueprint that has pre-existing energy blockages and form a body that is less God-like.
These energy blockages are what causes illness and dis-eases in the physical body.
If one were to incarnate into the Divine blueprint for a perfectly healthy human body, and lived correctly, by making sure that there is a sufficient flow of life-force (energy) to the physical body and all it’s organs and cells, one would live in perfect health and function, to probably a ripe old age of 144 + years.
But we have been programed with erroneus ideas about health and living. We live amongst millions of people who support these erroneus ideas. We have in the past sabotaged our health with our negative thinking, emoting and acting.
So, here we are with various physical dis-orders dying off at the the early ages of 60, 70, and 80!
But the good news is now with the Laws of Quantum Physics and the Science of Mental Radionics, we can get back on track.
Let us start with the most basic of health excersises, using Mental Radionics.
The Quantum Ocean responds to our thoughts, our images and the use of our symbols.
The Science of Radionics tells us we need three things to practice Magic at a distance: A Power Souce, An Intention, (wish or desire), Thought, Image or symbol, and a Target.
Your mind is the simplest, but very powerful, Radionics device.
Let’s begin our trip back to better health. No one knows the time factor. Each of us is different.
Perform this little Mental Radionics Healing Exercise at least twice a day, (morning and night.)
Sit comfortably in your favorite chair and relax. Breath in and out softly and deeply. When you feel your are in a relaxed state, start your visualization. Visualize that you are sitting in that infinite Ocean of Thinking Energy, the Quantum Ocean (Mind of God!)
Inside this Quantum Ocean is the Divine Blueprint for everything that ever was, is or will be. The Divine Blueprint for perfect health is there.
Take a deep breath and intone,: “I am now manifesting the Divine Blueprint of perfect health out of the Quantum Ocean (Mind of God) into every cell of my body.”
See and feel this blueprint (overlay, pattern) settling down over your body. See it’s sparkling flecks of white light.
Take three breaths and make three intonations. Sit and relax while the energy of the Divine Blueprint enters every cell in your body and starts the healing process.
Here’s what has just happened. Your mind is a powerful Radionics device. When you intoned the words ‘Divine Blueprint’ it reached into the Quantum Ocean (Mind of God) and made contact with that Divine Blueprint.
When you intoned, “…… Into every cell of my body….,” you gave this healing energy a
Target.
Your mind (power source) wants perfect health (intention) in every cell of your body, (Target.)
Every day, do not rush or be impatient. How many years or incarnations have you lived or thought incorrectly? How many mental and emotional and spiritual blockages do you have? Only time will tell, and it will take Time. But it works. It is the Law. The Law of Quantum Physics.
Future articles will explain the use of photos, symbols and images to help the healing process.
