Fool-Proof Way To Lose Weight Permanently

Is there a safe and fool-proof way to lose weight? Yes, there is. Follow the following 4-step process to lose weight.

Make A Plan

A plan is important when you set out to achieve something. Be it a major life goal or a minor shopping trip. Weight loss for many is a major life goal. It is something people strive for all their lives. You need a plan. To keep your body’s metabolism burning calories at full-clip, keep it fuelled and well-supplied with useful calories. Eat smaller portion sizes more often. Keep a track of your eating by checking food labels. Water is key to weight management. Keep yourself well-hydrated at all times. Include plenty of wholesome foods like grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sea food, poultry and meat. Avoid processed food. Include some amount of good fats in your diet as it keeps you feeling satisfied and full for longer. Include plenty of fiber containing food in your diet.

Take Responsibility

More often than not we blame our parents, genes, social circle, the celebrations and everything else for our weight gain. It is time you take responsibility for your own actions. Use the apps available on your smart phone or just a small diary to keep track of your calories. Get a supportive group of friends or relatives who will cheer and support you and hold you accountable. If you don’t have such people around you can find that they are many online support groups with total strangers supporting and cheering each other. These folks build you up and keep you motivated even when you want to quit. The whole process of losing weight is long and arduous. You need all the support you can get. Intermittent fasting is another method you can gain control over your eating habits. The fast is tough initially but over time you learn to ignore the constant need to eat something. Aim to lose about 1-2 pounds per week. While it is tempting to lose more, it is not feasible in the long run, second you lose bone, muscle and water weight which is not what you want in this weight loss journey.

Learn About Yourself

What makes you crave food? What are your triggers? Why do you want to eat? It is time to learn about yourself and your eating habits. Some people react to stress, others to anger, some for comfort, others eat due to boredom. Some eat when they are eat or depressed. If emotions are driving you, learn to channel them elsewhere. Pick up some good habit like painting or listening to music or reading or going for a walk, when these emotions hit you. Another reason folks eat is due to life long conditioning of not wasting food, not leaving anything on the plate. If that is problem cook a little less, serve yourself smaller portions, store away remaining food in the fridge for next meal. When you are offered free food or pay for “eat as much as you can buffet” – control your impulses and eat just what you need. There is no need to justify the price. Think that you are paying for the ambience or the experience. Not for the food.

Change What You Eat

If you have brought up on a diet of processed foods, cookies, baked goods, candy and fizzy drinks – it is time to change to more wholesome and fresher ingredients. How about more fruits and vegetables in your meals. Switch to whole grains, wholesome dairy products, more nuts and seeds, useful fats and proteins. Try to make your meals balanced with a right mix of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Choose foods containing fiber to help you feel full for longer and to keep the digestion process running smoothly. Divide your meals into 5 smaller meals if you have trouble keeping away form food in between meals. Space them so you always have access to food when you are hungry. A good helping of protein will keep you feeling full and satisfied for long. Good fats also similarly. Avoid processed carbs as they make you hungry often.

Relationships: Can Childhood Trauma Cause Someone To Lose Themselves In A Relationship?

When someone is in a relationship, the ideal will be for them to be in touch with who they are and to express their true-self. By being this way, being close to another person will have changed them, but it won’t have caused them to abandon themselves.

Therefore, when they are around the people who they are close to, it won’t be as though they have become someone else entirely. These people may notice a few differences if they are perceptive, yet that could be about as far as it will go.

A Healthy Position

As they are in tune with who they are, they will be able to act as an individual as opposed to an extension of their partner. This will mean that they themselves won’t always agree with everything their partner says and that there will be conflict from time to time.

In the eyes of some people, this could be seen as a bad thing. The reason for this is that someone like this could be in a relationship where they never argue and they rarely, if ever, have any disagreements.

A Defence

What this is likely to show is that one or both of them have a fear of conflict, which is why there appears to be harmony in their relationship. Ergo, what is going on is likely to be nothing more than a facade.

Under the image that they present to others and how they see things is likely to be a lot of baggage. There can be a lot of anger and resentment, and before long, some of this material could end up breaking through and causing a lot of problems.

Another Part

When there is conflict, the key will be for one to open up to their partner in a respectful manner. Not to blame or to point the finger at them, but to simply express what is on their mind.

Although this won’t always be comfortable, it will be an important part of what allows one to stay connected to who they are and to maintain their individuality. Expressing themselves will also make it easier for them to stay connected to the relationship and for it to grow and develop.

Two Parts

As they are connected to their needs and feelings and express who they are, it will show that they value and respect themselves. What it will also show is that behaving in this way feels safe.

It is through having these two components in place that they will be able to ‘be themselves’ in a relationship. Maybe, these two components have more or less always been in place.

Another Reality

While being this way can be seen as the ideal as it will allow someone to actually show up in a relationship, there are going to be plenty of people who don’t experience life in this way. When someone is in this position, what can be normal is for them to lose themselves when they are in a relationship.

As a result of this, they will end up disconnecting from their needs and feelings and they won’t express who they are. They will be physically separate from their partner but that will be about as far as it will go.

A Natural Process

This doesn’t mean that they will say to themselves, ‘right, now that I’m with someone, I will lose myself and become someone else.’ No, this is likely to be something that takes place unconsciously and thus, without them even realising what is taking place.

Doing what their partner wants and what they think they want will be their priority, along with going along with whatever they say. Undoubtedly, they will have a well-developed ability to tune into their partner’s reality and to merge with them.

Out of sight

This is something that can take place without their partner even being aware of what is going on. It would be easy to say that this must show that their partner is not very perceptive, but what it can also show is how good one is at deceiving others.

They can do this by making out that they are fine with what is going on and how things are progressing. The information inside them, their true needs and feelings, will be hidden from their partner and themselves.

What’s going on?

If this is indeed how someone behaves at the beginning and during a relationship, it is likely to come down to the fact that this is simply what feels safe. Losing themselves is going to cause them problems but, at a deeper level, it will be seen as what they have to do in order to survive.

This could be hard to believe, especially if it is seen through the eyes of a fully grown adult. What this may illustrate is that their early years were very traumatic and even though many years will have passed, they won’t have truly moved on from that stage of their life.

A Closer Look

Perhaps this was a time in their life when they were abused and neglected on a weekly, if not daily, basis. Due to this, it wouldn’t have been safe enough for them to be in their body and as a consequence, to be connected to their needs and feelings.

Instead, they would have had to disconnect from their body and to live in their head. Not only would being in their body be too painful, but being in their head would have enabled them to be hyper-aware of what was going on around them and to tune into their caregivers needs; both of these things would have been a way for them to minimize the pain that they experienced.

Awareness

The love, care and nurturance that they needed to be able to develop in the right way wouldn’t have been provided. They would have been traumatised into living in a disembodied state and their energetic boundaries wouldn’t have formed.

If one can relate to this, and they want to change their life, they may need to reach out for external support. This is something that can be provided by the assistance of a therapist or healer.

If I File Bankruptcy, Do I Lose Everything?

Having debt hanging over your head can be stressful, but when even the minimum payments are impossible, the situation can be too much to handle. It’s time to take some serious action, starting with taking a hard look at your budget and cutting out things that aren’t necessary. You may also be able to work with your creditors for reduced payment plans or interest rates to make your monthly expenses more manageable. Still, you may get to the point where your best option is to file bankruptcy, which can be a welcomed relief. While bankruptcy can discharge many types of debts, you may worry about the immediate and long-term consequences of filing. You may have heard stories of people losing everything they own, just to get out of debt, but there are many safety nets in place to protect your assets and livelihood.

For Your Benefit

The purpose of bankruptcy isn’t to leave you destitute as a punishment for your debt; it was created to ensure consumers have a way out of debt and the opportunity of a new start. This doesn’t mean you’ll experience zero losses as a result of your bankruptcy. Depending on your income, debts, living expenses, and the type of bankruptcy you choose, the court may need to seize some of your property and sell it to repay your creditors. Fortunately, there are many exemptions we can use to protect your assets and property.

Chapter 7

The first decision we’ll make is choosing which chapter of bankruptcy will work best for you. We’ll conduct the Means Test, which determines if you have the “means” of paying off your debt, based on the specifics of your situation. If you pass the test, you’re eligible for a Chapter 7, which discharges unsecured debts. Most people who file Chapter 7 are able to keep all of their assets because these cases are usually “no asset” cases. If you have secured loans, such as a car or home loan, you may choose to keep the property as long as you stay up to date on payments and keep the property insured. If, after reviewing your budget, these payments are no longer reasonable for you, you may choose to end the loan by returning the property. The court trustee can then decide if it would be beneficial to repay the creditor from the remaining value.

Chapter 13

A Chapter 13 may be a wise choice if you have property that would be lost in a Chapter 7 (or if you do not pass the Means Test.) This reconfigures your debts and you make payments to the court for 3-5 years. This would be considered full payments on your secured debts, and after your repayment period, remaining unsecured debts are discharged. A Chapter 13 allows you to keep your property while also taking care of your debts.

Don’t Wait

Many people avoid filing bankruptcy because they are afraid of the consequences and worry about losing property, when in reality, it may be the best choice they ever make. If you’re confused by your options, call me so that we can discuss your situation.

Why Did Michael Johnson Lose a Gold Medal?

Michael Johnson is a former world record holder in the 200 meter and the 400 meter sprints, and until recently he had 5 Olympic Gold medals. Now, however, he only has 4 Olympic Gold Medals.

How did he lose a medal? Was it because he was caught cheating? Was he found to have cut a corner, or did he take performance enhancing drugs?

No, of course not, Michael Johnson has always been a stand up guy.

Michael Johnson didn’t cheat, but his teammates did, and so he gave up one of his Olympic medals by voluntarily returning it now that he knows it wasn’t not achieved legally.

In the 2000 Sydney Olympics, 3 of the 4 runners on the 1600m relay were coached by Trevor Graham. In one of Graham’s trials, Antonio Pettigrew admitted to receiving performance enhancing drugs from Graham. This means that Michael Johnson was the only clean athlete on the relay team.

Johnson said he is “deeply disappointed in Antonio and in the sport of athletics. I now realize that there have been a significant number of athletes and coaches in this sport who have cheated and taken the short cut, and many of them knew who else was cheating. But now, I feel that I have been naive. I know the medal was not fairly won and that it is dirty, and so I have moved it from the location where I have always kept my medals because it doesn’t belong there. And it doesn’t belong to me.”

This has to be quite the blow for Johnson, and I’m sorry that he has to give up his medal. However, he did the right thing by returning the medal and it’s just further proof that he has an exceptional character that is rare.

Michael Johnson will be able to look back on his career with pride and know that he was able to do what very few people could ever achieve, because even after returning his medal he still has more gold medals than most Olympic athletes who never acquire any medal, be it bronze, silver or gold. And while records are made to be broken, he did own a few very impressive ones for a long time as well.

I hope that his returning the medal serves as a good example for the next generation of athletes and that they not only stay clean but also act with integrity and honor in all circumstances, whether it involves illegal drugs or not.

How to Lose Weight – A Short Introduction to Weight Loss

Ask one hundred people if they want to lose weight and you will see one hundred hands go up. Ask those same one hundred people how to lose weight and you will see five hands at the most raised. The fact is that many people want to lose weight, but not many know how to go about it.

So what is the big deal about losing weight? There are many reasons why people may want to reduce their weight. Some might need to for health reasons. The reality is that obesity can lead to major medical problems like diabetes, heart disease and stroke, so those who have a high risk of developing any of these diseases ought to consider a weight loss regiment. Others want to lose weight simply because they do not like the way they look. While there is nothing wrong with losing a few pounds, many take the notion of weight loss to dangerous extremes that include dangerous diets and work out routines.

Dieting and exercise are fine; in fact, many health professionals would agree that both are essential towards staying healthy and living longer. The problem lies with diets that claim that you can lose weight fast. Many of these are starvation diets or exercise routines that are too strenuous for your body. There is a reason why every weight loss commercial tells people to consult their doctor before trying a new diet or exercise regimen. So can you reduce your weight fast? While some of the diets and exercise programs can help you lose weight quicker than others can, anyone who believes that they can lose one hundred pounds in two weeks is in for a rude awakening.

So what is the best way to lose weight? Several things can be done without actually causing your body more harm.

  • Exercise: This is a good method of losing weight. When you exercise, you burn calories, which also help you burn fat. By committing to a consistent exercise regimen, you will be able to significantly decrease your weight in a matter of six months to a year. The key to making this work is consistency. You need to be able to commit at least one to two hours three days a week in order to be able to lose the weight. Now there are a few things to consider. First, you want to make sure that you are healthy enough to be able to exercise. People over a certain age (like forty-five) need to consult their physician about whether an exercise regimen is something that their bodies are capable of handling.
  • Diet: Dieting in addition to a regular exercise routine will help you shed unwanted pounds. There are many diet programs that exist, so it becomes a matter of choosing one that works. The best way to decide is to consult a physician or even some you know who has dieted. You will be able to find out about what the diet entails and whether or not it is right for you.

When it comes to finding out how to lose weight, it takes a little bit of research and a lot of commitment. As difficult as all of these sounds, it will pay off in the end.

10 Pounds to Lose – Weight Loss Advice

You may have 10 pounds to lose and you’re just starting your fat loss program, or it may be the last 10 pounds to lose from months or years of constant work. The last 10 pounds are the easiest ones to lose and let me tell you how.

1. The Power of the Mind

One critical thing when trying for the last 10 pounds to lose is the power of the mind. First of all, don’t “try” to lose the last 10 pounds, but rather do it. Know that it is going to happen and expect it to happen. Simple enough to say, but it is true. When we get to the last 10 pounds to lose, we begin to coast and ease up on our training and commitment, but I’m telling you to do exactly the opposite. This is the time to push forward and pick up speed, and be every more diligent in your choices. You must know in your mind that the last 10 pounds to lose is the easiest part of the journey. Use the power of your mind to visualize success and yourself not only standing at the finish line having successfully achieved your goal, but even more so than that.. Visualize yourself picking up speed and running through the finish line. Your motto should be “there is nothing more powerful than a warrior running through the finish line”. Be a fat burning warrior.

2. Increase your metabolism

The last 10 pounds to lose is as easy as increasing your metabolism through exercise and a change in eating habits.

Diet

If you’re not already eating 5 or 6 meals a day, then now is the time to change your eating strategy and the last 10 pounds to lose will literally fall off your body. Become a fat burning machine through diet by rethinking how you look at food, snacks and meals. Every time you eat, your body kicks into gear and works hard at digesting or burning up that meal to turn it into nutrients that your body can use for energy and healing while the rest is burnt off as heat (in a process called thermogenics).

Exercise

If you have been on some sort of “last 10 pounds to lose” program, it’s likely included exercise. You are probably doing cardio like crazy. Well, you should be. If you have not been doing cardio, now is the time to start. If you have been, then now’s the time to kick it up a notch. The last 10 pounds to lose is as easy as increasing your output. Doubling your cardio to 6 times per week, or if you’ve already been doing that, then do a second cardio session in the evening for a twice a day cardio workout. Wow, that will really kick things into gear. One caveat: if you increase your output of exercise, you may also need to increase your calorie consumption a bit to match your bodies’ new need for food.

3. clean up your diet

If everything is going well, you can take some time to finally clean up your diet. This means that the last 10 pounds to lose may require re-thinking your diet. Are you eating any condiments? Are you eating dairy products? Have you been eating low fat foods thinking they’re healthy and designed to help you lose the last 10 pounds?

Here are some simple rules to help you clean up your diet:

o How many names are listed on the ingredients? The lower the number of items listed, the better it is for you.

o Can you remove condiments from your diet for a short period of time? Eliminate ketchup (which I call tomato flavoured sugar), eliminate mayonnaise, get rid of salad dressings. Eliminate soy sauce from your rice.

o What are you drinking? At this point, your goal of 10 pounds to lose would include a very substantial change in fluids. An increase in water consumption and a removal of all other fluids such as juices or other non-nutritional beverages will assist with the last 10 pounds to lose.

4. Wake up earlier means more time to burn calories

The longer you are awake, the longer your body is burning calories and the more time you have to ingest and burn the 5 or 6 meals required. Eating every 3 hours for 5 meals requires starting at 6 am and eating last meal at 6 PM for example. For men, eating another meal at 9 pm.

The longer you are awake allows more time for exercise. Doing cardio first thing in the morning before your first meal helps burn fat rather than any blood sugars. Make sure you exercise before you eat. Then staying up later allows for an evening weight training workout, or a second cardio session.

The last 10 pounds to lose might be as simple as spending more time awake.

If you are really trying to lose the last 10 pounds, remember that it should always be considered easy. If you tell yourself it’s easy and your mind knows that you think it’s easy that it becomes easy. You are what you think. What you focus on expands. Your mind cannot tell the difference between what you think is real and what is real, so know in your heart and mind that the last 10 pounds to lose is easy. Clean up your diet, improve what you drink for fluids, spend more time awake and make sure you stay active.

Trust me, the last 10 pounds is an easy thing to accomplish.

Use It or Lose It!

Who can forget that song from the 1980s about nobody walking in L.A? It turns out that far too many seemingly took it to heart. People just don’t walk that much these days…let alone bicycle, swim or engage in other forms of movement that does a body good. America has become a car driving, desk riding, TV watching, video game playing, Internet surfing, elevator taking, fast food eating society. Is it any wonder that we are fighting a veritable epidemic of obesity, when pressing the buttons on the TV remote, clicking the mouse, and handing the fast food drive-through clerk money is the extent of our “exercise.”

Researchers, again, have recently underscored the severity of the problem this lack of activity is posting to our nation’s collective health. According to an October 2005 press release issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ National Institutes of Health, a recent Framingham Heart Study shows that “we [Americans] could have an even more serious degree of overweight and obesity over the next few decades” and that “If the trend continues, our country will continue to face substantial health problems related to excess weight.” In response to these findings, National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute Director Elizabeth G. Nabel, M.D. boils it down to this: “taking simple steps to make sure that the overall the number of calories you consume do not exceed the amount you burn can play a major role in lowering your risk for many chronic conditions. How is this done? You guessed it…exercise!

Even with the knowledge of study findings and other health news-making events, it seemingly goes in one ear and out the other. People continue on the same unhealthy track despite medical warnings about lack of activity. The study’s leading researcher and Boston University Medical Professor, Dr. Ramachandran Vasan, cited a litany of dramatic, life-altering conditions that can be experienced from lack of activity. Even with the threat of high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer, and osteoarthritis, most of us still do not budge from the sofa unless we absolutely, positively have to.

For those who really do wish they were more active, it can, admittedly, be difficult to put that desire into action. In today’s fast paced society, many of us cannot find time to sit down as a family for dinner let alone get in the car and drive to and from the gym. Even with the best of intentions, many with home gym equipment end up using the devices as (very expensive) clothes racks. With enough stuff piled on it and shielding it from view, perhaps they don’t feel guilty when passing it by on the way from the couch to the refrigerator to bed.

Others who do have the time to get to the gym may feel intimidated by all of the strange equipment. Some feel uncomfortable next to the cute girl in spandex who looks like she doesn’t even belong at the gym, not to mention the beefy guy snarling in front of the mirror as his biceps appear poised to explode. And, while some can afford to hire a personal trainer, many must venture into this unfamiliar territory on their own. This can lead to ineffective workouts, a serial lack of motivation or, worse, injuries. Soon after any of these events, enthusiasm naturally drops and it’s just your credit or debit card that it’s getting a workout as the gym continues to charge – whether you show up or not.

On the upside (sort of), the spike in gasoline prices has got a few people moving a bit more. Recent news reports indicate more people riding their bicycles to work and, yes, even walking! So if medical advice is not enough motivation, maybe a dent in our collective pocketbooks is enough to get America on its feet.

At the end of the day, it’s all about making time for something you want – make that NEED – to do. Even a minimal amount of time and effort can make a real difference when compared to no body movement whatsoever. In this case, something is indeed better than nothing.

The Secret of No-Lose Decision Making

One of the things that most inhibits our forward progress is the fear of making decisions. We’ve always been taught that we need to be careful because we might make a “wrong” decision. We panic over the possibility of making a mistake because we believe we need to be perfect, that mistakes aren’t acceptable. We also have a feeling of needing to control the outcome of events in our lives. So we agonize over decisions because we want to choose whichever path will lead to the greatest outcome, even knowing that we cannot predict the future and know what that outcome will be.

In order to change your life, you must change the way you think about it. You must shift your thinking so that it becomes impossible to make a “wrong” decision. Once you’ve made this shift, your decisions all become “no-lose” decisions.

Let’s look at the process we generally go through to make a decision. We begin by obsessing about the possible consequences of each course of action. Our brain takes over and asks “What if…” in an effort to predict the future and control forces over which we have no control. Often, since we know we cannot predict the future or control outside forces, we end up not making a decision; which, of course, means we have made a decision to maintain the status quo. Once a decision has been made, we constantly reassess our decision, hoping that the consequences turn out as we expected. We frequently second-guess our decisions with “if only…” statements.

Now let’s look at the process of making a no-lose decision. If both choices are viewed as “right” (there is no “wrong” choice), there is no reason to agonize over the decision. Thus, the shift that we need to make is to look at all of our options in terms of the positive outcomes that are possible. What are the good things we might expect? Every decision leads us to the opportunity to further explore our world; to learn and grow and experience life in a new way. Each path will provide us with opportunities, whatever the outcome. Notice: whatever the outcome. By choosing to look at choices as no-lose choices, we can detach ourselves from the outcome. We benefit from making the decision and moving forward in our lives, regardless of what happens.

As an example, you might be facing a choice about changing jobs. Your current position is comfortable and safe; the new position would provide a new challenge and the possibility of more money, but really is an unknown. Instead of agonizing over which choice will produce the greatest results, and asking “what if…” questions, look at the positives that will come from either choice. If you change jobs, you will have the opportunity to meet new people in a new environment and learn new skills. Even if the job doesn’t work out, you will have enriched your life. If you choose to stay in your current job, you have the opportunity to focus more intently on those parts of the job that are important to you and provide you with satisfaction.

So, what if it doesn’t work out? You change jobs and later decide that you don’t like the new job. Have you wasted your time? Of course not. You have discovered something valuable-a job that isn’t suited to you. Finding out what you don’t like may be as valuable as finding out what you do like.

What if you stayed in the old job and later got laid off? Was your choice a mistake? Not really. Not only have you learned from the experience, this has given you the opportunity to handle a situation. Each time you handle a situation, you see that you really will survive and this improves your ability to handle other situations. “Security is not having things, it’s handling things.”1 As you become more aware of your ability to handle things, you can respond to that negative “what if…” voice in your head with “I CAN handle it.”

The win-lose model that most of us use to make decisions can result in pain, worry and indecision. The no-lose model results in making decisions from a position of power and facing choices with enthusiasm. Why would we not choose the no-lose model?

There is a five-step process for using the no-lose decision-making model.

  • Focus on the no-lose model. Remind yourself that there is no “wrong” decision, and that whatever the outcome, opportunities will abound. Each path will present you with new experiences.
  • Do your homework. Learn whatever you can about the alternatives. Talk to others who are knowledgeable, read what you can about the alternatives. Talk to people who will support you in your decision, not those who will focus on the negatives. Making no-lose decisions does not imply making uninformed decisions or even quick decisions. It just means not agonizing over possible outcomes.
  • Establish your priorities. Before making a decision, you need to do some soul-searching. What are your beliefs, what values are important to you? What things make you happy or lead to satisfaction in your life? You will then be able to choose the path that is more in line with your overall goals in life at this time.
  • Trust your intuition. Often your body will give you signals. Even if you’ve made what you feel is a logical choice, but you have a “gut reaction” that says otherwise, learn to trust your instincts. Your subconscious mind may be telling you what is best for you.
  • Lighten up. Realize that nothing is really that important. You are a lifetime student of the world you live in and your curriculum is your relationship with that world. If you choose path A, you will learn one set of lessons; if you choose path B, you will learn a different set. In both cases, you’ve experienced more of your world.

After you have made a decision, instead of constantly reassessing and thinking, “if only…” there are some concrete steps that will reinforce the value of the no-lose decision-making model.

  • Let go of your picture. Release your expectation of the outcome. You know that you cannot control the future and so things may not turn out as you expected. Look for the silver lining. What good has come from the decision? Even if it didn’t turn out as you had hoped, what have you learned, whom have you met that may help you in the future, what new opportunities have opened up?
  • Accept responsibility for your decisions. Don’t look for someone to blame if things don’t work out as anticipated. You don’t even want to blame yourself, but to recognize that you made a decision and no one “made” you do it. Again, focus on the opportunities that have been presented. When you can find the opportunity, it becomes much easier to accept responsibility.
  • Don’t protect, correct. It is important to commit to your decisions, and give them your best efforts. But if it doesn’t work out, change it. If we release our need to have made the “right” decision, we don’t have to justify or prove ourselves right. We can quickly adapt to life and make a new decision to do something differently.

Perhaps you can now see how it is impossible to make a mistake-whatever choices you make are the right ones for you. Each “mistake” is merely an opportunity to experience another facet of your life, and learn how to handle situations. You will not succeed in every thing you attempt, as a matter of fact, the more things you do, the more chance there is not to succeed at something. But if you don’t try, you are guaranteed not to succeed. Focus on how rich your life can be from the adventures you are experiencing and you will keep winning!

What’s more, in case you are constantly dehydrated, the body will retain water in unflattering locations, so if you ensure that you get plenty of essential liquids you can start noticeably trimming down within a day. Don’t forget, the more exercising, the more water you’ll need. Drink one cup of water just prior to your meal; will help you digestion and also to receive the sensation of bloatedness in your abdomen that will stop you from overeating; that in conjunction with eating slowly, will help you to stop eating if you are satisfied, not once you already ate a whole lot (If you eat too quickly you can get filled, even bloated but still be hungry).

Step #4: Stay Active:

The final step in our process is to stay active. Weight loss is possible without having exercise. However seated without moving for hours on end can make weight-loss harder to achieve. Using stairs instead of the escalator, car parking a few streets away in the car park, going for a stroll and picking an activity that requires a few activity instead of sitting down are all approaches that can help with fat loss.

As you can see when you follow the above steps you will be in a splendid position to achieve more benefits whenever you decide to apply these steps on how to lose weight fast without exercise, diets and pills.

Anger – Lose Your Cool and Look Like a Fool

I recently witnessed a scene in a mall parking lot that has had a lasting effect on me – it was two middle-aged women arguing over a parking spot. They were both standing beside their cars and screaming at each other while waving their arms in a threatening manner. The argument eventually became a name-calling competition, with each trying to outdo the other. The sad thing was that the store wasn’t busy and there were plenty of empty spaces available. Their arguing became so heated that other shoppers began stopping to watch the spectacle. Meanwhile, the women’s children sat in their cars and witnessed the whole scene. How proud those kids must be!

The fact is that everybody gets angry. Whether it is at a family member, a co-worker or the stranger who took our parking spot, we all get angry. The problem with getting angry is that there is only a slim chance that it might solve the problem, but a much greater chance it’ll create new ones.

Anger is really us losing control and when we lose control bad things usually happen. At home it can mean a damaged relationship, in public it can mean a confrontation with a stranger, and at work it can mean getting fired or skipped over for promotion. Samaria Maxamus said, “Anger itself does more harm than the condition that caused it.” If you can’t remember that, try: Anger is only 1 letter away from danger!

Let’s be honest here, just like the two women in the parking lot, most of us can look and act pretty foolishly when we’re angry – usually saying and doing things we’ll later regret. Getting angry is a lot like being drunk, the intoxicated person is the only one who doesn’t realize he has a problem.

What makes anger so dangerous is that it can occur so quickly we’ve lost control before we even realize it. The only way to minimize the damage is to gain back control.

Before we can begin to diminish our anger we first have to understand what causes anger. There is really only one reason why we get angry and that is because someone didn’t act the way we wanted them to. Interesting, isn’t it? Anger is not an action, but how we respond to another’s action. Getting angry is letting someone else control you.

When was the last time something good came out of you getting angry? Benjamin Franklin said, “Whatever is begun in anger ends in shame.” The next time you find yourself getting angry, try and take a moment to ask yourself these questions: Is winning this argument really worth ruining the relationship? How important will this be a year from now? A month from now? A day or even an hour from now?

The moment you take back control you’ll lose the anger. Don’t let someone else control how you feel.

Who really suffers when you get anger? The Buddha said, “Holding on to anger is like holding on to a red-hot coal, you’re the only one who’s going to get burned.”

Why is it that when we hurt ourselves physically we learn not to do it again, but when we hurt ourselves emotionally we repeat the same action over and over? No one benefits from anger.

The best way to end an argument is to bite your tongue. That’s not admitting fault, it’s controlling the anger. Take back control. Besides, even if you win the argument, you still can’t enjoy the present if you’re angry about the past.
