Email List Building – Secrets to Building a Large and Responsive List

Email list building is an essential part of marketing your business online. When you build an email list you can market to that list your affiliate and training programs.

There are three key elements to Email list building that you need to have success in building a massive and responsive email list.

Email List Building

To capture your website visitors information, you’ll need a lead capture page or an opt in box. A lead capture page will capture your website visitor’s name email address and phone number and any of the other information you may want to capture. A lead capture page needs to be high converting especially if you want to do paid marketing.

You can either build a lead capture page yourself at a free site called Weebly.com or buy the WordPress template, Optimize Press for around $99, which is a WordPress theme that has a lead capture page feature.

There are also several marketing systems that you can subscribe to on a monthly basis that have capture pages ready for you to use. You can visit my website at the bottom of this article to find out more about them on my blog.

Autoresponder

You will need an autoresponder to follow up with your customers and potential customers. I recommends using an autoresponder like AWeber or Get Response. Either one of them will go for around $19 a month for starters.

With an autoresponder you can capture your website visitors information and follow up with them. This can be done automatically without you having to send an email every time. You can set up a series of follow-up emails to be sent one day at a time until they end up buying.

Good Copywriting skills

Having good copywriting skills will help you to convert more leads into sales. If you’re not a good copywriter you can always learn how to write better copy. You can take copywriting courses such as the Copywriters Guild. You can also opt into other Professional Marketer’s lists and read their emails to get an idea how they write their copy.

So if you have good copywriting skills a good lead capture page and the good autoresponder such as a Weber you will start to have higher conversions in sales. It will take you some time to master the skills of email list building. Once you have mastered the skills of email list building you will be able to make money on demand.

Ezine List Building: The Top 3 Ways to Grow Your List

One of my first suggestions to new clients is to develop a newletter, or ezine.

Ezines help you stay in touch with past clients and prospects, while providing them with valuable information, tips, strategies, and plans to accomplish their goals.

One of the biggest challenges service professionals face is building a large list. You use your list to provide valuable content to your reader, establish your credibility, and increase your visibility. I had originally thought to call this article “How to Build Your List to 10,000+” but truthfully, quality counts more than quantity when it comes to providing services.

Your list could be comprised of sub-lists of your newsletter subscribers, past and current clients, customers who have bought products from you, or a list of names you’ve compiled through networking. There are dozens of ways to promote your services online, some quite creative. Below I’ve listed the three ways to grow your list that are both effective and easy to implement–immediately. Experiment with each of these.

1) Signature File

2) Make it Easy

3) Dedicated Website

Signature Files

These are the messages that you can automatically insert at the end of every e-mail you send. You can change them frequently, and it’s free advertising for you. You want to include the following:

Your name and company name

Your Contact Info

A plug for your newsletter

A link right to the newsletter page on your website

Change your sig file every couple of months or so, anytime you want to emphasize a different service or product

Make it Easy

You want to make it as easy and compelling for your reader to immediately sign up for your ezine. Put a sign-up box on every page of your site, and highlight it on the home page. Use an attention-getting headline that immediately invites the visitor to read on.

Have a Dedicated Web Page, and offer an incentive

Have a page that describes your ezine in all its glory. A separate page indicates that you’re serious about your articles. Offer a workbook or report, or even develop an audio that can help your prospects immediately.

With so many ezines being offered, you want to stand out by offering something of high value as an incentive to your prospective subscribers.

By consistently sending useful information to your list, you establish your credibility, and stay on their radar, so the next time they need your services, they’ll immediately think of you.

Cisco CCNA (640-553) Security Exam Training – Using the Access-List Remark Command

In today’s article, I’m going to quickly inform you about the Cisco IOS Global configuration command named “access-list remark“.

CCNA’s (like you) use the “access-list remark” command to write a helpful comment (remark) for an entry in a numbered IP access list.

Note: The comment (remark) can be up to 100 characters long; and any comment (remark) that is longer than 100 characters will be truncated.

Below is the command’s syntax:

access-list access-list-number remark remark

As you can see, the command uses the access-list-number and remark arguments.

access-list-number – This argument is used to indicate the number of an IP access list.

remark – And, this argument is the actual comment (remark) that describes the access list entry. (Remember the comment (remark) has a limit of 100 characters)

Below is an example of the command being used:

Router>enable

Router#configure terminal

Router(config)#access-list 1 remark Only allow the abc workstation to get through

Router(config)#access-list 1 permit 172.69.2.98

Router(config)#access-list 1 remark Do not allow the xyz workstation to get through

Router(config)#access-list 1 deny 172.69.3.14

Router(config)#exit

Router#copy run start

In the example above, the workstation on the abc network that has the IP address 172.69.2.98 will be able to get its IP traffic through; but, the workstation that is on the xyz network that has the IP address 172.69.3.14 will not.

As you can clearly see, the access-list remark statements are commenting on the ACL behavior.

And, like with mostly all Cisco IOS commands; you can use the word “no” in front of the command to remove (disable) the configured command; like you see below:

Router(config)#no access-list 1 remark

By the way, if you decide to use the command, make sure your router(s) is running Cisco IOS 12.0(2)T or higher.

I hope this article was very informative and helped you quickly understand the usage of the access-list remark command. If you need to learn more; I suggest you visit my website, were you’ll find the latest information regarding the Cisco CCNA (640-553) Security exam techniques.

Top Ten List on Why Preschool Is Important

There are a number of reasons it is a good idea to send your child to preschool. The following is a look at ten reasons that preschool is important:

Reason one: Preschool helps prepare children academically for kindergarten. Most preschools focus on learning letters, numbers, shapes, days of the week, etc. When a child attends preschool, they get the basics down, the things they should know before going to kindergarten if they want to be academically successful.

Reason two: Preschool helps children learn how to interact in a group. Many children who are preschool age have not had significant experience with working in a group dynamic, having to share both items and attention. Preschool is a great structured setting where children learn how to interact in a group.

Reason three: Preschool helps children learn how to be away from their parent without anxiety. Many children suffer separation anxiety when they enter kindergarten if they have not had something that took them away from their parents at regular intervals during the week. Preschool is a great pre-cursor to something longer and daily.

Reason four: Preschool helps children learn how to socialize appropriately in a school setting. To many children the idea of listening when someone else is talking, and raising their hand to speak or make a comment is foreign. This can lead to a lot of disciplinary problems when they enter the regular school system if they do not get some practice.

Reason five: Preschool broadens your child’s exposure to outside germs. While this might sound crass, it is important for a child to begin building immunity against the many different viruses that abound in public. Exposure to the minor colds and bugs of youth can strengthen your child’s immune system in the long run.

Reason six: Preschool helps children learn that there are authority figures outside their home that they need to respect and listen to. It gives them some experience with having a teacher that they learn from, and a parent to help reinforce the things the teacher teaches.

Reason seven: Preschool helps children learn to share attention with peers. For many children the only person/people they have to share attention with is siblings and family members. When they want mom or dads attention they simply talk to them. At school, several students have to share the attention of just one teacher. Preschool is a great place for a child to learn this as classes are typically smaller, and there are fewer students vying for the spotlight.

Reason eight: Preschool helps children learn to be more independent, particularly with things like using the bathroom, putting on coats and shoes, etc. Because mom and dad are not their to be dependent on, children learn to utilize skills they may not otherwise. This is an important part of growing up, and one parents often do not recognize that they are stunting.

Reason nine: Preschool prepares children for consistent schedules when in school. When a child enters kindergarten they can’t just stay up as late as they want, or wake whenever they want, etc. they have to learn to follow a schedule. Preschool helps children adjust to this and realize that when in school they can’t just eat and play when they want, but must wait for the appropriate times.

Reason ten: Preschool helps children learn some academic and social responsibility. They learn to keep track of their backpacks and art work, to do homework, etc.

Summer Reading List – 10 Best Books for Kids

For some students, the academic school year may be over. For some parents, it can provide a battle between summer camp and outdoor sports. But if parents provide exciting materials to read over the summer break, children are more likely to be engaged in learning. As a matter of fact, reading over the summer improves the learned material, prepares children for the upcoming school year and enhances their language skills.

To motivate children to read during the summer, ten books are reviewed according to age group, reading level and moral value. As young as 2 years of age, children can start to develop literacy skills in recognizing vowels and identifying letters. The reading level of all of these books is level 1 or easy-to-read level. The moral message that children learn from the stories is also considered in each review. Many of these books are also available in English and Spanish formats.

Email Marketing Tips – 7 Reasons Why You Need To Build A List

Are you actively building at least one list in your niche right now? If not, you’re missing out on quite a bit of potential growth and income. Let’s talk about seven reasons why you need to build a list.

Build A Relationship With Your Readers

The main reason to build a list is to be able to build a relationship with your readers. They have to know like and trust you before they ever consider buying something through your site (be it your own product or an affiliate offer). A list allows you to stay in touch and gives them that chance.

Connecting With Your Target Market

Not only are you building a relationship with your subscribers, you’re also connecting with your target audience. This means that once you have a list, you can ask them what they want to learn more about, what problems they are facing and the likes.

Bring People Back To Your Site

An email list also allows you to bring visitors back to your site. How many times have you been surfing the net, ended up on a really great site but half an hour later you can’t remember what it was or how to get back to it (unless you spend a lot of time going through your browser history, which no one does). With an email list, you can continually send them more and more great content that includes links back to your site.

Branding Yourself As The Expert

And speaking of great content it, in combination with a list allows you to brand yourself as an expert. Your readers get great advice from you over and over again on a certain topic. It won’t take them long to figure out that you know what you’re talking about which again builds the trust you need to create a profitable and sustainable online business.

Easy To Automate

One of my favorite aspects of list building is the fact that it’s so easy to automate. I set up my list once, I drive traffic to the pages of my site that contain an opt-in box and then I start adding email messages to my autoresponder. Each of these things I only have to do once, but they will continue to work for months and years to come growing my list, making money from my list etc.

Making Multiple Offers

Another big advantage of having a list is that you can make multiple offers. Think about this if you are passionate about gardening, you’re not going to buy just one gardening book, subscribe to one magazine and buy one set of tools. Instead you’re going to get several of each and you’ll keep spending more and more on your hobby. Your target audience is no different. By having a list you can make them multiple related offers (again, both your own products or affiliate offers or a combination of both).

Being Able To Generate Income With The Push Of A Button

Last but not least, let’s talk about the reason that brings me the biggest peace of mind. If you have a responsive list (even if it’s relatively small), you have the ability to generate extra income at the push of a button. There have been many a times when we needed a few hundred extra dollars for unexpected bills. Each time I was able to come up with the extra cash just by sending a special offer to one of my lists.

List of Values for Kids

A list of values helps parents focus on specific principles they would like to teach their children. Making a list of values for kids may feel overwhelming. Remember that teaching values is something that a child learns throughout his or her lifetime.

Below you will find suggestions to help you make a list of values. Take a look at the example list of values, along with the ideas on how to teach using your own list.

Making a list of Values for Kids

· Take a moment and think about someone you admire.

· As you think of this person, write down attributes you appreciate.

· Next to this list, write the values that are associated with the qualities you admire.

· Talk to friends, families, teachers, and religious leaders. Ask and note what values they try to live by.

· Think of principles or standards that are important to you. Write down those that you would like to instill in your own children.

First write down every idea that comes to you. Later you can edit the list to your top ten or fifteen values to keep it manageable.

Example List of Values for Kids

The following list of values for kids is an example of principles that you might include on your list. These values are not in any particular order.

· Honesty

· Integrity

· Kindness

· Empathy

· Thankfulness

· Curiosity

· Respect

· Imagination

· Hard work

· Perseverance

· Faith

· Friendship

Notice that imagination and curiosity are part of the list for values. Values are not only principles and standards. They are also what we consider important in our lives and would like to pass on to our children. Keep this in mind as you make your own list of values.

Teaching Values with a List

Values are taught by example in the home. Review the values on your list. As you talk with and listen to your child, moments to teach values will present themselves.

Use these moments to help your child know what you think is right in a particular situation. Assist them as they think of ways to put values into action in their everyday lives.

A lesson with the family, teaching a different value from your list each week or month, is an additional way to help your children understand and learn values.

Music can help teach values on your list. Find a song with words that illustrate one of the values on your list. Listen to it in the car or at home. As the child becomes familiar with it, you can begin teaching the words.

As you learn the words together you may ask questions like the following:

· What does this song talk about?

· What is it trying to help us understand?

· What is a situation where you could apply this value?

Keep in mind that learning and teaching values is a life long endeavor. Don’t be discouraged; just be consistent. Live the values you want to teach. Expect and help your children to live them also.

5 Successful List Building Strategies For Your Email Marketing Campaigns

E-mail marketing is crucial for promoting, expanding and making money from any Internet business. If done correctly, you can expect to increase your online presence and customer reach dramatically, at the same time as increasing your profits and online conversions.

Building, targeting and maintaining a successful e-mail list isn’t easy. It takes time, focus and determination. A commodity, that you and your business, will be able to benefit from for many years to come.

5 Successful List Building Strategies… Set Yourself Up For Success:

1. Market Research

Market research is an incredibly important stage in building any e-mail list. It’s imperative that you know and understand your target audience. If you don’t have this information thoroughly researched, your subscribers aren’t going to be targeted to your subject, product or niche.

A list that isn’t targeted isn’t going to very effective, so make you sure you work at this (it will pay off).

2. Don’t Over Complicate Things

Clarity is incredibly important. Do your best to ensure that your opt-in page is simple and easy to read. You don’t want to overload potential subscribers with unnecessary information or requirements. I’d recommend requiring potential subscribers to enter their e-mail address and name only, don’t bombard them with other requirements, like entering their date of birth, occupation etc. It may put them off.

3. Visibility

You need to set yourself up for success. Don’t shoot yourself in the foot by hiding your opt-in form. Your form should be visible on every page of your website. If it’s not, and the user has to search to find it, you run the risk of costing yourself potential subscribers.

4. Utilising Social Media

Nearly everyone has a Facebook account these days, it’s a great way to stay in touch with friends. But more importantly, it’s a great way to attract visitors and encourage subscribers to sign up to your list. Add an opt to your Facebook page, you’ll surprised at how well it converts.

And, don’t forget Twitter. Be sure to tweet your offers to generate sign-ups.

5. An Offer They Can’t Refuse…

This is one of the most powerful and successful list building strategies there is. If you’ve done your market research, you should have a very good idea at what your target audience are looking for, needs and are willing to chase. With this information, it’s incredibly straightforward to tailor and produce, attractive incentives for them to sign up to your e-mail list. Great things to give away for FREE are; E books, audio books and exclusive special reports.

Building, maintaining and utilising the power of list building is a great way to increase sales, presence, and reach more potential customers. Once you’ve built your first Email marketing campaign from the ground up, you’ll understand what works and what doesn’t. By following these proven and successful list building strategies, you’ll stand the very best chance of making your list a valuable, targeted and successful commodity.

Pro and Con List For Deciding Whether to Sue For a Car Accident

If you are unable to reach a settlement you are comfortable with the insurance company after a car accident you will have to decide whether or not you wish to pursue your case in Court by filing a lawsuit. As with all other major decisions there are pros and cons that need to be weighed in advance in order to make the best decision for you.

Pro

Filing a lawsuit can take the decision making authority away from the insurance company and vest it in a neutral judge or jury. The insurance company professional adjusters make decisions in the best interest of the company. A Court should make a decision based on an application of the law.

Con

It is not unusual for cases to take several years to reach trial after a lawsuit has been filed. During this time the insurance company earns interest on the money, not you.

Pro

After a lawsuit is filed frequently the adjuster initially assigned to the case is replaced by a more experienced litigation adjuster, who may revalue the case and be willing to continue negotiations. The majority of cases eventually settle, and you may not have to wait years for a trial if you are able to come to an agreement.

Con

Litigation is expensive. Even if your lawyer is working on a contingency basis you are still going to be responsible for paying for filing fees, process servers, depositions, and witness appearance fees.

Pro

A judge or jury may be willing to consider other forms of damages that an insurance company will tell you they won’t. This may include lost income from a second job, loss of spousal companionship or punitive damages.

Con

At the conclusion of a lawsuit if either side is not satisfied with the result they may file an appeal. This may add years onto the process and an additional layer of cost onto the case.

Pro

Once a lawsuit is filed you have the ability to conduct what is called pre-trial discovery. This may include a compulsory process for interviewing witnesses and the ability to issue subpoenas for important evidence.

Con

You may have to appear for depositions and court proceedings that are scheduled at inconvenient times.

Pro

In serious cases you will have the ability to obtain a judgment in excess of the insurance policy limits and may be able to collect directly from the assets of the at-fault driver.

In order to determine if you should, or should not sue, you will have to carefully weigh these options. You have to consider not only your desire for the maximum award possible but also how quickly you need your case resolved. An experienced car accident attorney who has trial experience will be your best source of guidance in making this decision.
