All about Travelblock
Travelblock is a platform based on the blockchain technology aimed at providing cost-effective solutions to customer travel. It has a sustainable plan backed by a well-established functioning platform that provides you with all your travel information at the lowest prices.
Currently, travel booking is made through the Global Distribution System (GDS). GDS is a computerised network that allows travel information to be shared and transactions processed by service providers and agents. It covers all travel areas like the hotel room, car rental, aeroplane seats and railways among others. Due to this, travel agents like Expedia have readily available information concerning your travels at all time including cost and so on. Moreover, this comes with high fees that are mostly passed down to you as the customer making travel expensive.
What they do
Travelblock has revolutionised the way travel is done, and not only does it gives lower prices, but also gives you some of the best deals too. Travelblock aims to change the way travel booking is made by bringing you directly to the service providers. This is possible through the use of blockchain technology to bypass all third parties that usually add to your costs. This, in turn, gives you up to 45% savings on all your travel purchases. Not only that, it comes with increased reliability, security and transparency. Since you pay with their token, your payment security is guaranteed. Why settle for anything less.
About the Travelblock Token
The token (TVRL) which was on sale from March and ended in April is the primary means of transaction. This token is purchased using the Ethereum, so if you already have one, you are in luck. So, once you have these tokens, you are on your way to enjoying some of the best deals and offers in the travel industry.
How the Platform Works
• Travelblock creators have a well vast experience in the travel industry as well as the connections. With these connections, they broker the best deals in the industry for you.
• They buy inventories like flights, hotel rooms and railway directly from the providers.
• These inventories are now made available on the platform for you to purchase from using the TVRL tokens.
• With the money they got from you, they reinvest it into the industry.
Advantages of booking with Travelblock
• Low travel cost, no hidden fees, commission and anything related to what you already have.
• Optimum security due to the blockchain technology.
• Free membership (just by owning a TVRL token) and access to great deals.
• Validated reviews.
Price Comparison between Travelblock and Expedia
Expedia is one of the travel sector giants but at what cost too you the customers. They are governed by the rules and regulations of the GDS and as such their fees can only go as low as a few bucks. However, due to the absence of a third party, and the presence of Travelblock tokens, you get up to 45% discounts. That’s giving you more money to spare for other travel enjoyment.

London hotels
London is the epitome of hip and cool and so are the eclectic rooms at the Pavilion hotel created by a former fashion model and his sister who were bored with bland hotels. Each room has its own funky fresh style like the ‘Green with Envy’ room decked out in a collection of green objects, the ‘Honky Tonk Afro’ room dedicated to London’s carefree 70’s era, and 28 more interesting rooms that are worth writing home about.
Amsterdam hotels
One of the most beautiful and well-known sites in Amsterdam is the canal that runs through the city. Lined with trees and classic architecture along the street side and a slew of gorgeous boats docked and bobbing in the water, the canal is the heart of Amsterdam. What lots of people don’t realize is that many of these attractive houseboats are actually floating hotels for rent. Do a Google search for Amsterdam houseboats and you’ll discover a variety of interestingly decorated and designed houseboats for rent.
Germany hotels
If you’re going through Germany, you’ve got to stay in a castle! Because they were built for seclusion, staying in a castle like the Hotel Viktoria Luise may be a bit off the beaten tourist path, but offers a peaceful break where you can relax in kingly style to gear up for the rest of your vacation.
Paris hotels
Paris is rich with history, magnificent art, and architectural glory, and it seems only fitting that your hotel should mirror these traits. The Hotel Saint-Merry, a once Parisian church now turned boutique hotel, is rich with the cultural style that is Paris. Traditional hand carved wood sculptures line the lobby and rooms are finely decorated with lavish embellishments.
Rome hotels
When in Rome… you owe it to yourself to immerse yourself in the decadence of the ancient Roman culture. Located near the historic coliseum, the Inn at the Roman Forum is pulls out all the stops. This lavish hotel combines traces of ancient Rome combined with luxurious modern comforts.
Sevilla hotels
The gorgeously landscaped Hotel La Boticaria is a treat to stay at and rich with Spanish-style charm. The hotel is designed with a courtyard in the center, immaculate landscaping, and classic Spanish architecture. Located about 20 miles outside of Sevilla, you’ll need a car to get around, but the more remote location offers the peaceful elegance that is indicative of Spain vacation.
When you’re traveling, consider your hotel room as an important part of your overall cultural experience. A Ramada or a Hilton feel just about the same wherever you go in the world, but a carefully chosen hotel that embraces the style and personality of the culture makes for a more fulfilling overall experience.
Luxury Hotels Vs Budget Hotels
A hotel is defined as “an establishment that provides paid lodging on a short-term basis.” (See 1.)
In the early years of the hotel, accommodations were very basic, usually a room that has a bed, a cupboard, a small table and a washstand. These days, most rooms are equipped with modern facilities. In addition to bathrooms, there is air conditioning, a telephone, television, Wi-Fi (internet connectivity), and a mini-bar with snacks and drinks.
Hotel accommodations throughout the years have changed dramatically. There are several different types of hotels to suit almost every individual’s tastes, needs and most importantly, budget. The two main types of hotels are luxury hotels and budget hotels. Although both have similar basic amenities, these two types of hotels have significant differences:
Budget Hotels
As the name suggests, these hotels were established for people who have a small budget and therefore want to spend as little as possible. The rooms in these hotels usually have the basic facilities such as a bed and washing facilities and most of them have communal toilets. Most budget hotels are older. They are clean but not as fancy as luxury hotels. Some of these budget hotels are equipped with worn fixtures and they do not offer anything free except maybe a simple breakfast or newspaper which is sometimes included in the price that they charge.
Rates for budget hotels vary greatly depending on the location. In Los Angeles alone, budget hotels can charge anywhere from $45 to $119 per day.
Luxury Hotels
Luxury Hotels are for people who are used to lavish lifestyles. The employees at these hotels are specially trained to cater to everything that the guests need. They aim to provide their guests with all the luxuries they desire during their stay. These hotels were built in such a way that their guests’ stay is absolutely as stress free as possible. In addition to basic amenities in luxurious rooms, these hotels are usually equipped with spas that offer massages, gyms that have the latest exercise equipment, beauty centres that offer a wide range of beauty treatments, swimming pools, in house bars and restaurants and laundry service.
These services of course come with a much higher price compared to budget hotels. Other services that you can have in luxury hotels are free room service, free newspapers and even better channel selections on your television. You even get to use robes and slippers while staying in these hotels.
As with budget hotels, rates for luxury hotels vary greatly depending on the location. Luxury Hotels in London charge anywhere from 240 to 525 pound sterling per day.
There is truth in the saying “You get what you pay for.” So, for people who have the money to splurge on expensive hotel accommodations, staying in a luxury hotel would be best if they would like to have the best service that money can buy. But for people who have a limited budget but need a place to stay while they are away from home, they are better off staying at budget hotels.
For travellers who wish to get reservations way ahead of time, in the hotel of their choice, they can go online and check out the websites of different hotels all over the world.

Katikies Hotel Santorini
I would like to share here a dream of mine, which has not come true yet; it is called Katikies Hotel and is located on Santorini. When I travel, usually I do not pay attention to the accommodation, as the destination is what matters to me. Santorini Island is a unique place, which I highly recommend that everyone coming to Greece visits. And Katikies Hotel is the jewel of Santorini. Therefore I have developed some kind of obsession with this luxury hotel!
Katikies, means houses in Greek and is a word, which, unfortunately, cannot be exactly translated into English. I can just tell you that the word “katikia” provokes a feeling of warmness and cosines when you hear it – and this is also what Katikies Hotel is all about.
It was built around a decade ago in the famous village of Santorini, Oia (Ia), in a great location. The hotel is actually built on the cliff of the Santorini and has therefore magnificent view of the Aegean sea and the volcano island of Santorini. And every evening visitors can admire the famous Santorini sunset from their rooms balconies or by the pool of the hotel.
This luxury hotel is built according to the traditional Cycladic architecture, with Santorinian characteristics. The rooms & suites of Katikies Hotel look like small caves in the cliff, everything is whitewashed and connected with small stair steps. Each room of Katikies has unique minimal decoration and style and great view.
If you are waiting for a narration of my personal experience during my stay at Katikies, I will disappoint you. I have not managed to stay at Katikies yet….and nor will I be able to do that during summer 2007, as I cannot afford it. My last trip to South Africa, though great, left with less money in my bank account – but my economical status is not that interesting, so lets get back to Katikies!
As you can assume from the above, Katikies is not what you would call a “budget hotel”….it is a luxury hotel, member of the Small Luxury Hotels chain, and its rooms and suites are a bit expensive.
So, my obsession with Katikies Hotel started when I had dinner at the open air gourmet restaurant of the hotel with a friend, who was staying there, back in May 2001. The years that followed, I carefully read a lot in the internet about the hotel and planned my stay at the island. But I am a typical Greek and I decided to make a last minute reservation. The result was, that Katikies hotel had nothing available. Now I have learned the importance of early booking, and I recommend you all book your room the soonest possible, as Katikies has only 7 rooms and 15 suites!
And last but not least, I will tell you about its pool, Katikies famous infinity pool! It is very impressing, as it is constructed at the edge of the cliff.
What To Look For When Choosing Your Hotel Insurance Policy
Owning and running a hotel or any other type of accommodation is a challenge, especially during the current tough economic climate, but there is no excuse for not making sure that your business, staff and guests are covered by the correct level of insurance.
Hotel insurance is not just for hotels, because you can also find the correct type of insurance often bracketed into this insurance category for the following types of accommodation:
• Hotel
• Guest House
• Bed And Breakfast (B&B)
• Motel
• Hostel
• Guest Accommodation
Although there are many types of insurance policies when it comes to hotels and accommodation, some of the things that you really should look for in your cover include:
Buildings and Contents – As with any type of building that you own, you need to make sure that you insure both the building and the contents for the correct value, because should the worse happen, you need to make sure that your level of insurance is enough to cover the money you need to get the hotel back to its original position.
Liability Insurances – Public, employers and product liability are all types of insurances that could be vital when it comes to your hotel, guest house, B&B or other type of accommodation. Liability insurance can help protect you if a guest should fall and injure themselves, with employers liability helping to protect your staff should they be hurt or injured whilst working in or for your hotel.
Business Interruption – This type of insurance cover is sometimes overlooked but can really act as a business and life saver should your business be closed down for a short to medium term period. For example, if your hotel was flooded in June (it does happen) and you had to close down for three months to refurbish, having this type of insurance cover would offer you some income to keep your business going.
Legal Expenses / Protection – Running a hotel means that you will probably be employing staff and you will definitely be hosting guests and this type of insurance provides cover for any legal expenses which are incurred following any disputes with customers and also staff. For example, if a member of staff decided that they were going to try and sue you for a particular reason, this type of insurance cover can help to pay the bills if the case goes to court etc
Above all, you should always check that your insurance policy offers the correct level and type of coverage for your business.
No Show Procedure in Hotels – Can Hotels Charge Your Credit Card for a No Show?
At times plans get to change during travel and you end up having to forfeit a hotel booking you had made. When things don’t go as planned, it is important that you contact the hotel you had planned to stay in, in order to avoid being charged hotel charges without utilizing their services. Hotels have been getting stricter in their cancellation policies, which means that you need to be aware of these policies before booking a hotel.
How Hotel Cancellation Policies Work
Hotels are currently able to create their policies in whichever way they dim fit, without being restricted or guided by any agency. This has made it a rather uneven playing field meaning every hotel is different from another. Hotels vary in their policy making, making it wise to read through their fine print before booking. While some hotels give you up till the evening before your arrival to cancel, these are becoming fewer. Many hotels are now asking for as much as 72 hours prior notice or more when you wish to cancel reservations. If you do not comply to the stipulated time set, then you can be charged from as little as a one night charge for every room you had booked, to being charged for the entire period that you were meant to stay. While these hotel charges seem preposterous in the least, hotels are still in their rights to uphold the charges. So it boils down to you to cover your flanks. Here’s how to do that.
Read the Fine Print
This point cannot be insisted enough. Reading the fine print of the hotel’s policies will help you know the charges they apply and to what extent. This will help you plan ahead to any eventuality of being a no show. If you cannot be able to handle the stipulated charges, then the best thing is to look for another hotel that will accommodate you. Knowing what the hotel requires can also give you a bargaining chip to negotiate beforehand. If you can get them to compromise before your no show, then you can be able to save on penalties.
Contact the Hotel
When you have an inkling that you might be a no show, you should ascertain the procedure for cancellation before making the booking. Talking to the hotel is a good way of getting the proper information even after reading the policy from their online site. Once you have the procedure noted, you are well armed to refute any charges if you made the cancellation in the right manner and followed the right procedure.
Have Tangible Evidence
When making a cancellation, be sure to have evidence that you indeed cancelled your booking. You could be issued with a cancellation number if you do it over the phone. If you use email to cancel the booking, you have your evidence. Phone calls are however better placed to handle such issues as they cannot be refuted. One can always say they never saw the email.
Follow Up
There are times when you have taken the right steps to cancel and your credit card still gets charged. In these times, you should contact the hotel with your cancellation information as well as a request to credit your account with the deducted amount. If this is not done, then you can always appeal with your credit card company.
Other Ways to Cover Yourself
As mentioned earlier, if you feel that a hotel’s policies are too prohibitive, you can always look for another hotel more fitting to your needs. Keep in mind that the only way to not get charged no show fees is to follow their procedure for cancellation. Short of doing this, you will only have yourself to blame. Another way to cover yourself from these hotel charges is to have a travel insurance policy. This is beneficial in many ways.
Hotel Gimmicks and Marketing
It is no secret that hotels need promotions and marketing in order to get their brand out to the market and gain new clientele. Still, there are some hotels who go beyond the regular kind of advertisement most people would come to expect. That said, let us take a look at some examples of hotels who have made various efforts to stand out from the crowd, all in the name of good old marketing to draw people in.
When it comes to gimmicks, there’s always one city that comes straight to mind. That is Las Vegas, otherwise known as Sin City because of all the gambling and other stuff going on around The Strip and the surrounding parts. This city’s hotels, from the grandiose ones with their own high-end casinos to the smallest motels, all have gimmicks that seek to lure in the mesmerized visitor.
Caesar’s Palace perhaps best represents gimmicky Las Vegas hotels, what with its Roman-themed landscapes and architecture and the immense main water fountain. The luxury hotel also has an entertainment venue fashioned after the Colosseum, among other sub-venues. Aptly called The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, it has hosted the likes of Celine Dion, Bette Midler, Elton John, and Cher.
Over to the opposite coast, there’s a 198-room establishment called Donovan House, which has some sort of CIA theme. After all, the hotel is named after Major General William Joseph “Wild Bill” Donovan, who headed the United States’ Office of Strategic Services. The OSS preceded the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), which is why Donovan is acknowledged as the father of the CIA. The Donovan House’s theme includes wristwatch communicators for the hotel staff and cocoon spiral showers-something that hints at what secret agents probably bathe in.
Another hotel marketing gimmick is the cheese-covered hotel room at the Washington Jefferson Hotel in New York City. In order to make a tourist attraction, the hotel manager hired an artist to completely embellish the room in 1,000 pounds of pure melted cheese. Yep, and it’s cheese coming directly from The Swiss Cheese Foundation. Now that is one cheesy room.
We cross over to Europe for one scary and freaky gimmick: the Vampire Room at the Propeller Island Hotel in Berlin, Germany. As can be guessed from the name, this room is probably best rented out by the likes of Lestat or Edward Cullen. The room has a couple of coffins for people to sleep in, and there are even crosses etched from the coffin covers! If you are not into that, the hotel also the Cage Room, where you’ll get some r&r in the comforts of two raised cages.
All over the world, there are many different hotels that offer different kinds of attractions and gimmicks. With so many hotels dotting the planet, being able to come up with something unique to draw guests is a must. It works for the hotel, and it works for the guests who get treated to something extraordinary. Next time you book at a hotel, see if you can find a themed one or one with uniquely-designed rooms, so that you will get quite the refreshing hotel experience.
Abigail’s: No Ghosts Here!
Many of the older restaurants and accommodations in Victoria, and even the Royal Victoria Golf Course have ghost stories attached to them. Guests of Abigail’s Hotel often ask for the ghost story and the incredibly accommodating staff would love to tell them one. Unfortunately, the ghosts have not been forthcoming.
Abigail’s Hotel is perched on the edge of downtown Victoria, just a stone’s throw from the Inner Harbour and it is truly one of Victoria’s best kept secrets. Well not any more! I am letting the cat out of the bag! I have lived here for over 20 years and driven by countless times, each time wondering what it was like. I have been in a number of stately old hotels and they were all nice, but often disappointing. Not so with Abigail’s.
When we drive past the entrance to the hotel, we immediately notice the well-kept English gardens. Passing between the Coach House and the Inn, both buildings look very similar. At first glance, we could not tell that they were built 50 years apart. We park and are immediately greeted by Tomas, the super friendly front-desk attendant. He guides us to our room and fully informs us about the hotel and the services. Breakfast in bed sounds appealing, but we opt for breakfast with the other guests.
Our room is spacious and adorned with just about every amenity we could ever desire. Is it the delicious welcoming cookies, the cozy couch in front of the fireplace, the four poster bed, or the marble ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and rain-head shower? Our room is decorated with rich country furnishings, goose down duvet and pillows, silk bedspread, and fancy throw pillows. It is luxurious and very comfortable.
The library in the main building is a meeting place and between five and seven o’clock, refreshments and complimentary hors d’oeuvres are available. In a short time, we meet friendly people from Louisiana, Nevada, Ontario, and Alberta. Tomas is at hand taking good care of us.
For supper, we take a short walk downtown, no more than 3 or 4 short blocks. We visit the very popular Noodle House to find out what all the fuss is about. Well, not what we anticipated, but a unique experience and very tasty food! I did not expect spoiling my wife with chopsticks and a takeout cardboard box, but nothing is too good for my Queen!
In the morning, we sit down to a superb gourmet breakfast. A large table seats most of the guests. Arriving late, we sit at a table for four and are soon joined by a young couple from Oregon. Abigail’s is designed and operated so that people can easily interact with each other, adding to the enjoyment of the visit. If you come for privacy, the spacious rooms can be your private hide-away and you can order you breakfast in bed!
After breakfast, Marion Hansen (general manager) takes us on a tour of the hotel. Each room is unique, yet all have the same special touches that make Abigail’s unique. All of the staff, from marketing, management, housekeeping and dining are so friendly and helpful. It is hard to imagine why anyone would stay anywhere else.
You can tell how much they care, especially when Marion tells us how they invite some of the neighbors over for Christmas dinner. The owner’s philosophy is certainly well entrenched in all of the staff and is evident in the care and attention to detail in both the hotel design and style as well as in the service provided to guests.
When we check out, we are presented with a small gift bag containing a two bottles of water, treats and a guidebook to other “select accommodations”. Working in tourism makes me really appreciate the businesses that take it seriously. This business has truly earned its “five stars”.
So, now it is time to play tourist! Our choice for the day is to visit the Victoria Art Gallery. The Art Gallery is just minutes from Abigail’s and is inside historic Spencer Mansion in the Rockland neighborhood. We go there because there is an exhibition of the art of Takao Tanabe, an artist born in Seal Cove, British Columbia. The artist is a recipient of several major awards and is internationally renowned. His art provides a unique view of land, sea and sky apparent in his expansive and beautiful landscape paintings. The formidable size of his paintings presents an awe-inspiring vision of Canada and particularly the West Coast.
We continue our exploration by heading out to Sidney by the Sea for lunch. Since we have hit most of the local restaurants, we are looking for a new experience. A friend had mentioned the Dakota restaurant at the Victoria Flying Club, so we check it out! From our table, we can see out onto the runway, so all through lunch a variety of planes taxi quite close by.
We heard the breakfasts were award winning and find that they serve breakfast on the weekends all day long. We make our selection and enjoy a very good lunch.
After lunch, we explore Sidney and do some shopping and touring.
On the way home, I reflect on our fabulous stay at Abigail’s. I am thinking about ghost stories that I could make up for inquiring minds. The fact is, they just don’t need a ghost. Abigail sells herself!
Reflections on Abigail’s: peaceful, quiet, comfortable, luxurious but not ostentatious, friendly, a meeting place, charming, romantic, very special. The finest accommodation in Victoria!
Remaining Relevant – Edging Out Your Competition in the Hotel Industry
Unless they’re historic bed and breakfast inns, most hotels are modern and up-to-date, boasting high speed internet, sound wave alarm clocks and versatile hangers, among other hotel supplies. If you’re like most people who work in hotels and handle the amenities, in some capacity, on a daily basis, after a while you might not notice the details anymore. As with most day-to-day tasks, buying hotel supplies and amenities can become routine especially when you’re tasked with balancing budgetary constraints, style needs and guest preferences. If hotel supplies such as towels, ice buckets and bed spreads become dated, hotels can become dated, too, and get lost amongst the competition.
Hotels that are successful long-term attribute their success, in part, to their ability to remain relevant which means they know themselves and their brand identity. They also know the hotels near them and what makes them stand out. When you think about your hotel, what do people pay for? Is your service exceptional?
Maybe the views are amazing and the hotel supplies and amenities are unique. If luxury and convenience define your business, plush robes and bed linens and complimentary breakfast would be relevant hotel supplies and amenities. To maintain their place among the masses, hotels must keep current with trends to remain competitive and relevant.
Timeliness very likely isn’t a high priority for you or anybody else who works in hotels. However, if hotels want to maintain occupancy rates, attract new business and offer a great overall experience ensuring that everything from the amenities and hotel supplies to the color palettes and furniture are current and inviting is paramount. Have you ever gotten a room in a modern hotel and, upon walking into the room itself, felt like you traveled in time back to the early 1990s or worse, and it’s not a historic hotel? While it might not affect the visit, most people think less of hotels that are dated, especially when the amenities, hotel supplies and conveniences one would expect are either not offered or unavailable during their stay.
Whether you’re working for an eclectic bed and breakfast or a posh spa resort, conveying value to your guests is important. Quality amenities and hotel supplies, amazing views, superb locations and complimentary meals or snacks all convey the “we’re trying to maximize your dollar” message. It’s important, especially when consumers of every stripe are counting their pennies and paying more attention to what they’re getting for their money than ever before. While hotel supplies and amenities are important components of hotels, they aren’t everything. The cleanliness of your hotel, a responsive staff, spacious guest rooms and modern furnishings all play important roles in the overall guest experience.
Being and remaining competitive in the hospitality industry is no small feat. Maintaining your edge by providing quality hotel supplies and amenities helps you as the competition among hotels is stiff almost everywhere. When people feel like their opinion matters, when they see updated fixtures, renovations that modernize hotels and high quality hotel supplies, they know they’ve been heard which typically translates into more business for you. That said, focused on details though you might be, it’s important that those same details remain fresh and relevant to both guest and hotel alike.
Key Features Of Best Business Hotels
For business travelers like you, staying in comfort at a hotel and having access to the room amenities, while waiting to meet your business deals, is a great thing you expect. During your stay in the hotel, it’s usual that you need to be in connection with businesses outside, so it’s not surprising that you would take advantage of hotel’s facilities or amenities and services. It’s not only relaxing, spacious and well-equipped rooms you look for, but it’s all about the things like computers, in- room high speed internet (we know you love it!), cell phone, cell phone charger, notebook computer batteries, notebook computer batteries, cable TV, good lighting to perform work, and other various business services available that can support and take care of your business work, until you complete the business trip.
Moreover, your business- free time should also be considered. In late afternoon, evening, or nighttime (if you prefer to stay in your hotel), you will definitely want to kick back in the hotel’s 24-hour restaurant or enjoy a beer or cocktail in café or bar (or coffee lounge). In- house restaurant could be the most favorite dining option. Moreover, for business travelers, shuttle service to and from the airport is supposed to be the most important amenity, followed by childcare facilities, swimming pool and fitness center.
Well, all above seem not enough! Why don’t we go together to see more what to consider when to choose the best hotels for business travel.
Key Features of Best Business Hotels and Business Travel
First of all, it’s about what hotel you look for your business trip.
Hotel Features: The question is whether the hotel has the types of features you need. What kind of hotel you look for: the hotel that suits well your need for the quick overnight stay or the hotel for week- long business trip? Check if the hotel has business suites or meeting rooms available if you need them?
Location: Hotels that are situated near an airport or located in a city’s business district usually cater to business travelers because they can perfectly respond business travelers travel style. Airport hotels rarely offer much on scenery, but they make up for it with convenient location. This feature of airport hotels makes it easier to travel to central district to meet contacted business people or to catch up on business work, or to fly out for short break getaway, and fly back in. But you should check if the airport hotel is really close to the airport.
Furthermore, check if the particular hotel you want to stay is located in a safe part of town. Moreover, it would not be good at all if you find after arrival at the hotel that there is major construction going on in the area around your hotel’s location.
Additionally, it’s good if your selected hotel is located in the city center, where you can expect to explore many more things of the city off your business time (such as the nighttime). However, make sure that you already check the hotel’s location that it’s not too near the club and bar areas where music can make too much of loud noise. Although you want to sample the city nightlife, we hope that you would not spend the whole night listening to the club music downstairs, and being awakened every 20 minutes by the group of partygoers making loud noise. Your business trip next day could be a difficult day.
Internet Access: Most hotels offer Internet access. It can be the business center’s computer, high-speed access in the room, or wireless hotspots. International 5- star hotels for business travelers rather focus even much more on this feature. The hotels will facilitate business travelers up to five or six high- speed Internet terminals for easy access and quick response. Imagine how much a hotel is perfect to have Internet access available everywhere for you, to make sure that business travelers like you never lost in businesses and communication outside. It’s business travel lifestyle!
Quick, Customer Service: Professional hoteliers are in the business of providing good customer service or hospitality. Business hotels make the important distinction of offering good customer service quickly and efficiently, rightly to your needs. Your needs must be met quickly so that you can perform your business deals even more quickly and efficiently as well.
Concierge Service: Not all hotels have a concierge, but if they do, a good concierge can be very helpful. They are there to make your hotel stay extra special, especially if you are during your business stay. They can respond your special request. So, check if the concierge offers the types of extra services you need.
But you should be informed that concierge works for tips and since they can provide such a wide variety of services, there aren’t really standard tipping guidelines. Simple requests can be rewarded with small tips, but more complex and difficult requests should be rewarded accordingly.
Easy Transportation: Business travelers need to be places on time and with minimal hassle. Best business hotels usually offer transportation shuttles to major business areas, or assist travelers with securing taxis or private cars.
All Effort to Guest Service: Perfect business hotels must allow business traveler like you to focus on your jobs, to make them the most successful. If a guest is in trouble, whatever that can damage his or her business plan, professional hoteliers will put their most and best effort and extra level of service to help their guest go through the problem efficiently. This service marks an excellent business hotel.
