What I Learnt From Boxing

Since I was a young boy, I spent a great deal of time boxing. With my last amateur fight I even won the district championship in the middle weight class. Boxing has taught me a significant amount about life inside and outside of the ring, and I would like to share some of these points with you.

It got me thinking about health and nutrition

Not unlike most young boys, I grew up with a pretty “normal” childhood. I ate anything I felt like and didn’t think much about my general wellbeing until I started boxing. Our trainers were tough on us, but they had a point: we must look after our bodies.

Over the many years of training, I began to eat better and solidified many healthy habits in my life. It is still a passion to this day to be able to share this with as many children as possible. I have recently founded a children’s charity in Central and South America, where one of my primary goals is to introduce sports to communities where health and fitness is overlooked.

You never stop learning

If you fight against those on the same level as you, you’re never going to learn anything new. By taking on stronger opponents, you pick up new techniques and continue to grow.

The same is true outside of the ring. When faced with difficult challenges, I learnt to welcome them. Not only did they make me a stronger person, but I also came out with new experiences that have proven beneficial to me in the future.

How to stay calm in any situation

I’m sure you would agree that boxing is far from a stress-free sport. It’s not just tough on a physical level, but there is a lot of psychological fear and anxiety that may come with it. From mentally preparing yourself before a big fight, to thinking of the best ways to beat your opponent in the ring, you’ve got to keep calm no matter what. The moment you lose your cool, you know that they won.

The same goes in life, there have been many times at work when I had tight deadlines or less than friendly clients, but from boxing, I learnt to never give in to stress or fear and faced all challenges with a smile.

Sometimes you take a hit, but pain is only temporary

You don’t let the hit destroy you. You may feel rage, you may feel injustice, but you don’t let those feelings consume you. You may get dizzy and lose your bearings. Sometimes you may even fall straight down on your face. But you learn to get up and keep going.

This is one of the most powerful lessons I learnt from boxing. Sometimes, life tries to take you down outside of the ring, but I learnt from a young age that you never give up. I even wrote a separate blog post about it here.

Control your emotions

There are many kinds of boxers out there, with their own preferred techniques. For example, there are brawlers, who go all in and don’t mind taking a few hits as long as they land some too. On the opposite side, there are fighters who are more strategic, kind of like chess players. They see the game as a whole and are not controlled by the opponent’s actions.

I like to think of myself more as a “chess player”. Quick to analyse any situation and make sober, strategic moves in order to win the game. Being well-organised and good at assessing problems is a vital skill, in my opinion, for any business.

Life is just a game, but how we react to it will determine our general success and wellbeing. Thank you boxing, for helping me become more confident and stronger when facing difficult challenges.

$10,000 Personal Loan With Bad Credit: Why Purpose Is So Important

Assuming that bad credit means the chances of being approved for a $10,000 personal loan with bad credit is unlikely, would be a mistake. The truth is that lenders need to lend to make profits, and so long as repayments can be assured, they are happy to give the green light. What this means is that when everything is in order, any application can be successful.

In reality, loans that are granted without collateral are not as easy to get as loans that come with some kind of security. But securing loan approval depends on more things than bad credit ratings and collateral. The other factors influencing an application can vary, but one of them is the purpose of the loan.

Admittedly, this is not the first factor that people think of, but when the specific purpose of a loan is provided, lenders are able to more accurately assess the chances of the large unsecured loan being fully repaid on time.

The Significance of Purpose

Lenders like to know that the money they lend is being used properly, and not being wasted. After all, reliable people do sensible things. For example, someone that can be trusted to make repayments on time is not likely to seek a $10,000 personal loan with bad credit and then go straight to Las Vegas.

Of course, it is not difficult to identify the purpose of a loan when getting an auto loan, or home loan. But the purpose of other loans is more open to interpretation. By stating a the specific purpose, securing loan approval is made a little more possible.

If the purpose is to consolidate existing debts then the lender will be impressed. But it is not a good idea to seek a large personal loan to head on vacation with. Bad credit needs to be treated seriously, and wasting finances is never a good move.

How a Purpose is Proven

It is fine to state in an application for a $10,000 personal loan with bad credit that the purpose of the loan is a constructive one, but lenders expect some sort of corroboration. This means providing as much detail as possible in an application, and not just a short statement and leaving the rest to chance.

With online forms, it is easy to just tick the boxes and type in text where requested. But the more detail the better when securing loan approval is on the cards. For example, if the loan is to consolidate debts, state which loans and how must the balance is. Provide a breakdown that leaves no questions.

It is also a good idea to make direct contact with the lender, either through emails or even over the phone. The benefits of this technique is that the lender will see the applicant as more than just a number, and the degree of interest shown in the application for a large unsecured loan will be seen in a positive light.

Practical Loan Uses

While the purpose of a loan should always be constructive, there are practical uses to getting a $10,000 personal loan, with bad credit management just one of them. Admittedly, such a sum can solve debt problems, but remember that the loan needs to be repaid. To this end, it is essential that the loan be confirmed as having a practical use.

Certainly, the realities of the financial situation need to be taken into account. So, getting advice from a debt specialist is a worthwhile move too. Securing loan approval would be great, but not if the extra debt is set to cause financial trouble rather than anything else. Once the applicant is clear on why a large unsecured loan is needed, then it become easier to convince the lender.

Health Benefits of Sweating

Sweating is often looked at as something bad, and therefore we try to eliminate the amount of sweat that comes out of our bodies. But did you know that sweating is actually good for you? It can help to protect you against diseases by getting rid of toxins in your body. According to studies toxins are the number one cause of disease and aging.

Here are some of the benefits that you can obtain just by sweating:

Reduced Body Odor. Popular belief has it that sweat causes body odor. But it is not the sweat, but rather the toxins that the sweat brings out of your body which cause the odor. Therefore your odor will increase when you sweat, but then as the toxins are being eliminated, the odor will gradually decrease.

Reduces Black Heads and Acne. Sweat is the water that circulates through your body to wash it out. As it is eliminated from the body it cleans and opens up the pores to reduce acne and black heads.

Controls Body Temperature. Sweat is essential for keeping you cool on a hot summer day to prevent heat stroke. It also cools you when you are exercising.

Fights off Infections. Researchers have found that sweat can help to fight off infections, as it can kill and destroy harmful bacteria which may come in contact with your skin.

Fights the Common Cold. Next time you feel a cold coming on, take a hot bath to help your body to sweat the cold out before it takes control of your body. After the bath, just relax for about an hour or so, and your fatigue and other symptoms will vanish or at least be reduced.

Fight Diseases. Most diseases such as cancer, fibromyalgia and obesity are caused by too many toxins in the body. Sweating helps to eliminate these toxins so that you can overcome and prevent these diseases.

How To Promote Sweating

You should never try to stop your body from sweating, but rather you should encourage it to sweat whenever you can.

Sauna or Hot Bath. One of the best way that you can promote your body to break a sweat is by using a sauna or a hot bath.

Exercise. 30 minutes of cardio exercise also helps your body to break into a good sweat.

Sunshine. If you don’t have the energy for exercise go and lay out in the sunshine. You can stay out there as long as you want, but just cover your body from head to toe with a blanket. As the sun shines on you, it will help you to break into a nice sweat without you getting burned.

What Is Digital Designing and How It Is Changing With Today’s Technology

In today’s world everything is going digital. Communication is becoming Digital Communication, advertisement is now Digital Advertisement. So with these changes the meaning and definition of designing has also changed and is now known as Digital Designing.

Now don’t get confused by the this word.

Simple meaning of this is any designing done on digital platform is known as Digital Designing. In early days people used to draw by hand on paper/ books but now same things are drawn by hand but the difference is now we use stylus instead of pencil, we have tabs, screens to draw rather than on paper. We fill color in our art work but not with water colors or paint colors but digitally in software’ like Photoshop, illustrator, digital painter tools etc.Earlier we used to have different kinds of brushes for painting, hard, soft, thin, thick, round, square, etc but now we only have one stylus and rest settings can easily be done in the software itself.

Digital designing in not only limited to Digital painting it includes all other forms of designing:

1. Graphic Designing: Graphic designing was known as flat designing. The images we see on a page advertisements about other things and all, Visiting cards, brochure, pamphlets, etc. But now with the introduction of Digital even the definition of Graphic designing has also changed. New age graphic designing is breaking all the stereotypes of flat image designs.

2. 3D Designing: Any objects that are created in 3D software’ are called 3D designing. These objects are rendered in order to view them or use outside of the software. These images have depth that differentiate then from flat images or graphic designs. With the introduction of 3D printers, this field is also becoming infinite; unlimited number of opportunities and work.

3. Video Production/editing: Video production is also a form of digital designing. You create a whole video with your own creativity and present them in video form. Videos are just images playing per second.

4. Motion graphics: Branch of video production but full of 3D motion. So this combines the work of graphic as well as 3D.

5. Architectural Designing: A branch of 3D but in architectural form. Those building plans you see on pages are created in 3D with the help of various 3D software’ giving a realistic outputs. This field is not limited to only images but is now have extended to videos and even to VR.

6. Product Designing: Product designing is combined form of graphic and 3D because first the product is designed in sketch or digital art form and then in 3D, so this field is created after the introduction of Digital Designing.

7. Package Designing: How the things will be packed and delivered to customers, this is what is done in package designing. This is the filed that is emerged from graphic designing.

So the list goes on and on a never ending one. As the world is now becoming digital so many opportunities are increasing everyday.

Bees Are Now Your Neighbor – What To Do?

You live in a nicely decorated home with your family. There is a small garden in front of your house. You all play in the garden every evening, especially in weekends. Till now it seems you are really leading a happy life. But one fine day you notice that you have got new neighbors – BEES!

Bees, generally, don’t cause harm to people unless they are disturbed or forced to sting. Hence, if you see a bee hive in your garden then there is nothing much to worry unless you or any of your family member has allergy in bees or wasps. But sometimes they you will find swarm of bees flying inside your rooms and forming a hive in roof or any other corner of your house. In that case, you have to think about bee removal service. Once your new neighbor peeps inside your rooms, it is good that you call bee removal professionals.

Not all bees are harmful always. But Africanized bees can be dangerous and sometimes fatal which may cause serious health issues. Hence, it is recommended to call Africanized bee removal professionals if you manage to recognize the species of bees in your garden or house. They know all the tricks and are trained to use all sorts of tools and chemicals to remove bees safely without killing them. But sometimes, it is not possible to remove all the bees. For such cases, you have to think about Africanized bee extermination. In this process, bee removal professionals will kill all bees by spreading certain chemicals. They will not remove the hives or honey. You have to do the same using warm soapy water. But there are certain bee removal companies which can help you remove and kill bees both.

Not only bees can create problems. There are wasps which are dangerous too. Different techniques are often used in wasp removal process. Call a service provider which not only remove the wasps but also help in wasp nest removal. You may not have the expertise or confidence to do the same. Hence, you must call for professional assistance.

There are many bee removal companies in town. In case of any emergency, call one of them and get rid of bees or wasps within a few hours. Most of the professionals who work for such companies are local bee keepers. They know how to tackle such insects well than you and me. Hence, don’t waste time and call them for quick services. Make sure to check your chosen bee or wasp removal company provides all sorts of emergency services as well as after hour service for the next few days to assure no bee hives are formed within your property.

Your Past Shapes Your Thoughts Vol 1

Many people in life don’t want to think about their past because a lot of times people think about the pain that is associated with it. The reality is everyone’s past has allowed us to become who we are today whether that be good or bad. Things in the past have happened for a reason whether we want to believe it or not and we should all have taken things from the past and learned from them all.

For instance if you have had situations in life where you may have failed at something I’m sure you not only remember the pain of that failure but you have thought about things that you could have don to prevent from failing.I know early own in my Air Force career I partied a lot and I had no cares in the world about nothing but myself and the pleasures of life that I was experiencing at the time.

I knew I had a big test coming up to show the Air Force how much of my job I knew in order to advance to the next level but I kept putting it off so that I could go and party with my friends. What I didn’t realize was my friends had already completed their testing and they were all good to go. When the day came for me to take my test I missed it by 1 point and I was devastated.

I couldn’t blame anyone but myself for my failure but my mind wanted me to believe that the system screwed me over. After about two days of thinking about the mistakes I made I wanted to make things right so I could stay in the Air Force so I made it a point to let my friends know that I was not going to be partying for a while and I would be focusing on my Air Force testing.

The day I told them their response was “Bro we thought you had already tested just like us” and my reply was “Yeah I did test and I missed by one point.” The whole room went silent.Shortly after my friends told me “Man we are sorry because we should have looked out for you a little bit better but we’ll make sure we leave you alone for a few weeks so you can study.”

Two weeks passed and I was ready to test. I woke up that morning and went into the testing center to take the test and I was very nervous and my hands were sweating but I knew I could do it. The test facilitator brought me my test and dived in. I finished in about 20 minutes because I knew all the answers and I found out I passed and I actually blew it out of the water.

Of course this was not my only failure in life but was one of the most significant ones. I didn’t like the way I felt when I got the results from the first test so I had to make positive changes in my life and that’s what I did. Now because of that situation that happened to me I never put things in front of my number one priority which is excelling at what I am supposed to be doing in order to provide for my family.

I encourage you to make positive changes in your life so that you don’t have to go through some of the same things that I had to go through.I also encourage you to prioritize your responsibilities in life and make sure you have them listed in the proper order. You have to establish your own personal list of importance because no one can tell you what is more important to you than you.

People Need Their Imperfections

Late 2020 we finally saw the completion of our renovated kitchen

It had been a long time coming. Not only had we, as a family, fought incessantly over how the renovations would look, would we or would we not remove a wall and turn two smaller rooms into one large kitchen, which is what we eventually did. But it was in the middle of a pandemic.

We received the commitment from the renovators in early January, but were unable to begin until mid August. The first wave of the pandemic delayed construction almost a year.

Ours is an old house. At least 120 years old if the city museum is to be believed.

It is replete with old house problems, but it has a certain old house charm, and old house imperfections. The new kitchen, however, is near perfect. It is much improved over the previous kitchen both in form and in function. But there are a few minor imperfections.

I have discovered lately that I like the imperfections. The corner where the countertops had to be connected diagonally, has a noticeably raised seam, the island could have used foot rests, and the fridge makes slight creaking noises when opened and closed, probably from rubbing on the cabinets that enclose it.

It makes me wonder why I like the imperfections. The creaking sound that the fridge makes is like a symphony to me. I rub my fingers along the imperfect seam and it actually calms me.

Most people would consider how much money they spent on this new kitchen and, for that kind of money, demand perfection. They might demand that these imperfections be resolved. They might demand some kind of restitution with the builder. In fact, they might allow these imperfections to make them feel worse, more angry, more frustrated than they did before the renovations even took place.

But not me, I let it remind me that there will always be imperfections in life.

I let it remind me that there will always be disappointments in life.

If having worked for 30 years with the general public has taught me anything about people, it’s that many people demand perfection. The woman who gets upset because her hotdog is slightly cooler than she prefers. The man who becomes livid because his car is taking ten minutes longer than promised.

I admit that both of these people could possibly have just reached their breaking point after a long string of disappointments, goodness knows, I’ve been there. But it’s more likely that these people need more encumbrances and battles in their lives.

The battles that keep you grounded, the battles that allow you to really FEEL the imperfections in your life and really embrace them rather than cause you to feel like your life is coming apart at the seams.

Just like that imperfect seam on my counter.

Growing Up With Cards and Games

Summer and games go together for me.

When I was a child, my family had a cottage on a small lake in Northern Minnesota. It lacked both electricity and plumbing which was fine with me; I liked the feeling of camping but still having a comfortable bed to sleep in at night. The only drawback was an outhouse that was half a block from the cottage and not a fun trip at night. My mother solved this by creating a “honey pot” that we all used at night and one of us emptied in the morning (although I suspect my mother ended up with the job most often).

In the evening, our light came from kerosene lamps and a large brick fireplace. After my father, mother, brother and I came in from evening fishing (or on a rainy day), we played card games in front of the fireplace; kerosene lamps hanging overhead to light the small table in the middle. We played gin rummy, 500 rummy and schmier, a game that I remember as being a little like bridge. (If anyone knows how to play smear, please contact me because I need a tutorial!) I especially loved gin rummy and won more than my share of games but I usually couldn’t beat my father. Looking back, I’m not certain which was better; the card games or the quiet evenings with family. However, I grew up treasuring both.

At some point, we added Monopoly to the list but I always had a love/hate relationship with that game. If you’re winning, it’s great. Your houses lined the board and the stack of money in front of you grew larger every time someone shook the dice and landed on your property. But if you missed purchasing the best properties, every shake of the dice put you further and further in debt – perhaps a little bit like real life! I couldn’t handle the slide into poverty and was usually very relieved when I lost all my money and was able to quit the game.

Of course, Scrabble was always a favorite but, as the youngest, I was a little handicapped by my vocabulary. At the time, I didn’t know about short words like Qi. Xu, Qua and Za that fit into small spaces and earned a lot of points. Today I play Scrabble every day online with friends and use these words regularly although I have to admit that I still have no idea what they mean.

In college, I was introduced to Bridge. I watched friends playing; listening to their bids and studying their plays. When I met Barry, my husband-to-be, I had only played a few times. After we were engaged, he and I were invited to dinner and a bridge game at one of his married friend’s houses. I was nervous and felt like a kid; these couples were four or five years older than me and actually lived in houses, rather than dormitories. By the end of the evening, I was feeling more confident and felt my bridge playing had been pretty good. As soon as we were in the car, Barry turned to me and said, “Never, never bid a three card suit!” He married me anyway and even taught me how to bid the right way.

For several years, we played party bridge with twelve friends who were, for the most part, at the same level as us. Each one of us rotated around three tables and different partners. However, there was one man in the group who took the game very seriously. Being his partner meant opening yourself to four hands of verbal abuse. I didn’t say anything at the time but this older and wiser version of myself would not have kept her mouth shut!

Once (and only once) I played duplicate bridge. We were living on an army base in Japan at the time and a friend asked me to substitute for her in a once-a-week duplicate bridge game while she stopped to have a baby. By this time, my bridge game had vastly improved and I immediately said yes. But I soon found out that this game had very little in common with party bridge. The room was deadly quiet, interrupted only with the sounds of quiet bidding at each table. The emphasis was on each hand and the score cards were kept meticulously. Also, the hands were carefully replaced for the next player.

After we had finished playing all the hands, everyone gathered to see where he or she had landed on the points list. I was second from last, with only a few more points than a ninety-year old woman who had dementia. The game was only two hours but it felt like eight. By the time I got home, I had a terrible headache. When Barry walked in the door, I was lying on the couch, an ice pack on my head and a glass of wine and bottle of aspirin on the table beside me.

When our children came along, we both spent hours playing children’s games such as Candy Land, Old Maid, Go Fish and Chutes and Ladders. Although those games disappeared as our children grew up, our game closet is now restocked with all of them, waiting for our granddaughter’s next visit. I’m finding it more fun playing the games this time around than I did when our children were young. I’m quite sure the reason for this is because we can enjoy playing with our grandchild without the anxieties that accompanied raising our own children. Grandchildren are simply fun!

With the advent of computers, we can also play a lot of games online. As I mentioned before, I play at least ten games of Scrabble with friends and family but these move slowly with only one move by each player in a day. In addition, I am addicted to the Microsoft Solitaire Collection which includes a daily challenge in five different solitaire games. You collect points which grow daily until (hopefully) you reach the gold bell by the end of the month when the scoring starts over. If you miss a few days, you get behind on your games. Catching up can be fun if you don’t mind a marathon day (or two) of computer games. And this is where the addiction starts!

Since we have lived in Florida, we have been introduced to two new games that we play with friends. The first is Rummikub, a board game that is a lot like 500 rummy. Barry and I play with three friends every couple of months and we usually lose. One friend has been playing this game for years with a group in her home town. They play for money, a penny a point and she would like us to do this also. I’d be willing if either Barry or I won once in a while but at the rate we’re going now, that isn’t going to happen anytime soon.

The other game we play with friends in our neighborhood is Mexican Train, a dominoes game. The strategy is fun but the best part of this game is pushing the button in the middle of the plastic train which emits a loud, “Choo cho, choo cho.” Of course, to be allowed to push the button you have to first win the game and, unfortunately that doesn’t happen to me very often. So occasionally I cheat and push the button for fun.

As you might have guessed by now, I don’t seem to win very often. However, I’ve decided that, for me, winning is not the object of the game. Of course I do prefer winning to losing but since that isn’t in “the cards”, I focus on other things, such as strategy, taking tricks, combining the correct numbers and adding up all the points I’m stuck with that someone else gets! I also tell myself that playing games is supposed to be good for your mind. But the best part of playing games is spending time with good friends, eating delicious food and building lovely memories in this phase of my life.

When Is Surgery Needed in Treating Cancer?

Cancer is not an exclusive disease but a group of diseases. It directly affects the growth of abnormal cells. They grow in large numbers and hit our immune system. Our body has cells which live their life and die. They are replenished with new cells. This cycle carries on during the lifetime but in case of cancer, these cells don’t die and continue to grow in large numbers. They are not needed by the body but still are present there. It is important to diagnose it on time so that the invasion can be prevented.

There are more than 100 different types of cancer known to human beings. They can occur in both males and females. Some of them are specific to one gender as the organ is not found in the other. Two common examples are breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. There are no exact causes of cancer. It occurs when there are changes to the DNA of the cells. This DNA is inside a large number of genes which informs the cells to perform certain functions. But when there is error in communication, cell has the potential to become cancerous. They not only allow the rapid growth of these cells but also fail to stop their uncontrolled growth.

There are two main causes of gene mutations –

• Mutations that are present since birth

These mutations are present in the body since the time of birth. You are born with them and may be inherited from the parents. But only a small percentage of cancers are caused from it.

• Mutations that form after the birth

These are major in number and form after birth. It can be caused due to lifestyle choices or a side effect of some disease.

The most dangerous thing about cancer is that there is no exact cause. There are several risk factors associated with this disease but keeping away from all of them can also cause cancer. Some of the common risk factors are as follows –

• Age – it takes a long time for many cancers to develop and show symptoms. They may be present in the body for some time but the symptoms are showed only when they have reached an advanced stage.

• Many lifestyle choices are considered as risk factors. They include smoking and drinking alcohol regularly.

• Excessive exposure to skin is a leading cause of skin cancer. It causes sunburns and blisters in the body.

• Small portions of cancer are also caused by inheriting it from the family members. The risk increases if one or more close members are suffering from it.

• Obesity causes many weight problems which are directly related to this disease. Fat cells present in the body effect processes that regulate the growth of cancer cell.

• Environment also causes some problems. Even if you don’t smoke, inhaling second hand smoke can be harmful.

There should be regular screening of Cancers if you think that any of the above mentioned risk factor is associated with you. Common treatment methods are –

• Chemotherapy

This treatment method uses drugs to kill the growth of cancer cells. Either a single or combination of drugs is used in this treatment. But as they kill the cells very quickly, there might be damage to some nearby cells. It can be given before or after the surgery or as the only method.

• Radiation Therapy

It destroys the affected cells by the use of high energy x-rays and other radiation methods. More than half the people who are suffering from cancer receive radiation therapy at one point or another.

• Surgery

Surgery is the operation to remove the tumor. The goals of surgery vary. It is not only used to treat the disease but also used to diagnose it in the body. Staging is a type of surgery which is done to find out the extent of tumor.

What If There Are No Introverts?

You probably know the definitions of introvert and extrovert:

An extrovert is someone who gets energised by social interactions and an introvert is someone who feels drained by them.

With that handy little guide, you’ve probably categorize yourself as one or the other.

But if you’ve called yourself an introvert, what if that’s not what’s actually happening?

I think about some moments in the past, times where things would drain me.

Like when I was younger, going to school felt weirdly exhausting. I didn’t know why. It shouldn’t have – there was nothing that was too taxing about it, but at the end of the day, I’d feel wrecked.

The same sort of thing would happen when I’d go for a walk around the block. I was physically capable of that and so much more. This was while I was a keen tennis player, so it’s not like I was out of shape. But by the end of it, I would just feel ready to curl up on the couch and nap.

It took me ages to figure out that I was feeling tense during these situations.

When I learned to just relax, then I was able to do these things and have energy to spare. I would come home after a walk or off to school and I would feel energised, once I let go of all that tension.

And the same thing was happening with my social interactions.

I had called myself an introvert because I’d always feel tired after hanging out with people, but then I realised I was just feeling tense while talking with people.

Again, when I learned to relax while chatting, suddenly I switched, by that definition, from being introvert to an extrovert.

A handy solution, no doubt.

But why was I feeling tense?

Because I was socially anxious. Being around people, I was worried about saying the wrong thing, obsessing a little about what they thought of me, doing my best to be interesting and charismatic (and generally failing at both).

So, what if your introversion isn’t introversion at all?

What if it’s actually social anxiety?

Taking this to its extreme, what if introversion doesn’t even exist? We’ve just called it the wrong thing this entire time.

Now, I’m not saying you shouldn’t take some alone-time to rest and recharge. Trust me, I’d never say that.

But if you need to veg out after dealing with people all day, maybe it’s because you’re approaching it the wrong way.

Maybe if you learned how to relax your body and mind, dealing with people would be easy.

Maybe even refreshing.
