Tucked Away in central India in the state of Madhya Pradesh is the city of Ujjain. It is about 80 km from Indore and one can drive down from here in about 2 hours. The road is good but bullock carts and stray cattle are a hazard that must be taken care off. Ujjain is recognized as one of the holy places in Hinduism. It is a very old town and has a hoary past.
The town itself has not progressed much but there is a beeline of tourist and worshipers who visit this city for two famous temples the Maha kaal temple and the Kaal Bhairov temple. Both these temples are a manifestation of the God Shiva or Shanker. The Kaal Bhairav temple is a different form of Shiva, as in this garb he becomes a fierce manifestation and represents all world desires.
Over the years Ujjain has a man referred to as Dabral Baba who is a worshipper of the fierce manifestation of Shiva -Kaal Bhairav. He is the purohit (Head priest) of the Bhairav temple. He stays in the city and was earlier an employee of the University of Ujjain. He presently resides at Rishi nagar. This is an upper middle class colony where he has a small residence. There is no doubt that this man after prolonged worship at the feet of Kaal Bhairov was bestowed by the God with certain powers. No scientific explanation is available as to how he achieved these powers. Most probably after years of prayer and meditation the Kaal Bhairov thought it fit to bestow these powers on him. Whatever may be the fact, the Dabral baba certainly has the ability to envision your future as well as read your mind, perhaps with ESP. This is something uncanny.
The Dabral Baba gives darshan (audience) every day at his residence from 3 to 5 pm and people from all over the country come to him for his blessings and advice. The baba charges no money and all you have to take to meet him is a bunch of flowers or some Indian sweetmeats like barfi or laddoo. The baba meets people one by one in a small chamber. The meeting usually lasts only about 2 or 3 minutes,but in that short time the baba will convey a lot of significant information to you. Many people from all walks of life have benefitted by meeting the baba. Modern science must study these people who have ESP and other powers and come out with a rational explanation. The dabral baba draws his powers from the God kaal Bhairov and one is certainly a gainer in meeting this living saint.
