You are going to love this article. It will reveal the power of the intuitive mind. When speed reading at super high speed, the intuitive mind must be engaged because it can process information at a much higher pace than the conscious brain. The speed reading techniques that I teach make full use of the brain’s powerful intuitive cognitive function. In this article I wanted to tell a story about one such power. Although it doesn’t appear directly linked to speed reading, it does provide insight into this powerful brain region and how it can be employed while reading at high speed. The story I will tell you about is related to how you choose your mate.
Who would have thought that choosing a mate would be related to your immune system? Never-the-less it is true, and is a testament to the computing power of the intuitive mind. Everyone has protection against disease that is unique. It protects us from diseases of all types. The stronger your immune system, the greater your chances of survival. Your immune system contributes to your personal odor. Here is where it starts to get very interesting.
When you meet a potential mate. Your unconscious brain analyzes their personal scent. Amazingly, it can detect by scent someone whose resistance to disease is radically different than your own. Even more amazingly, this difference triggers a physical attraction. Why? If you produce offspring with a mate whose immune system is radically different than your own, then your offspring potentially will have the best features of both of your immune systems. This bestows on your children a stronger immune system than one derived from two parents with very similar immune systems.
Think about how much chemical analysis your unconscious brain must perform on your potential mate to determine the differences between your two immune systems. Next think about how once these differences are detected it stimulate arousal and attraction between you and your potential mate. Even more astounding is how all of this can occur in less than a few seconds. What I really want you to think about is how putting this same powerful intuition to work can be links to speed reading techniques that can help you learn and use information faster. In my next article, I will teach you how to decode the language of your unconscious brain. You are really going to get excited about its hidden language.
