Students of astral projection have innumerable questions about the skill they are trying to develop. The most popular of these questions is whether the astral body has the weaknesses and ailments of the physical body. For example, if you are paraplegic or blind or unable to hear, would your astral body also be a paraplegic or blind or unable to hear?
The answer to the above question is a resounding “No.” Physical ailments are limited to the physical. Just because your physical body is in a wheelchair doesn’t mean that your astral body has to use a wheelchair after you project. If you cannot hear properly, you can expect your astral body to enjoy perfect hearing ability. In other words, physical ailments are not carried into the astral. There are two powerful reasons for this.
1. No Physical Imperfections In The Astral
All imperfections and ailments are purely physical. The astral has no place for them. Your astral body neither hears with physical ears nor sees with physical eyes. You can rest assured that all physical ailments will be corrected when you enter the astral.
If physical ailments weren’t corrected in the astral realm, you would have had to carry your ailments after death too, which isn’t the case. People who have experienced near death experiences (NDEs) have reported seeing their loved ones utterly devoid of all their physical ailments and imperfections. This means that they were completely cured of all physical ailments and imperfections upon leaving their physical bodies and entering the astral planes.
2. Thoughts Are Manifested Quickly
What you experience in the astral is the result of your own thought patterns. Thoughts are manifested very quickly in the astral, and you will find yourself surrounded by materializations of what you think.
If you believe that you are blind or hearing impaired, you will find that you can neither see nor hear in the astral plane. Simply wish to have clear vision, and you will find your vision clearing. You just cannot carry your physical ailments into the astral. You only have to will them away, and they will disappear.
Now, if you project and find that you cannot see, don’t panic. Temporary “blindness” is normal when you project for the first time. You will find that you cannot “see” because you remain in the range of the magnetic body. Distance yourself from this range, and you will find your vision clearing. Everybody is blind as long as they remain inside the range of the magnetic body, and it doesn’t mean that you have carried an ailment into the astral plane.
