The month of September is undeniably the 9th month of the year. It is the month that ushers the whole world into the dreaded but one of the happiest periods of the year – the “ember” months. They include September, October, November and December. People see these months as the most dangerous months because every activity of man in a year is coming to a close, and as result, almost everybody is a hurry to meet up to the finish line.
“Ember” months are those months are those months that end with the word “ember” or “ber”. The word “Ember” represents a piece of wood or coal that is not burning but is still red hot after a fire has died. The word “Ember” is not without some lessons to teach us. The period of “ember” months is filled with activities of men and women who are rushing to meet up with the pressing demands of year ending. Reports must be written and submitted and activities for the following year kick-started.
You can see why things are at its pick. It is a time to determine a lazy fellow in any business in life. So everybody is battling to finish up without a carry-over work or problems.
The month of September tells us to “See Every Problem Today, Every Mountains, as Basis of Exercising Resilience” in God (Job 19:25)
It is human for us to encounter difficulty, problems or challenges. What is divine is when we see those challenges as a means for our step-up. No challenge presented to you is greater than you.
As people see the month of September in the midst of other “ember” months, they may feel that I am here to make them believe the opposite of what is true. No, I mean every word that I speak, and they have been working for me. Though what I am saying is not a make-me-happy thing, I still believe that it is a reality.
Are you rushing to make ends meet during this period? Take it easy. No hurry in life. Only believe and trust God for a better ending. The result does not come through a rush. You only create more problems than you could solve.
Are you trying to compete with your colleagues and associates, and you feel that things are not as fast as they could or may be, you feel that you are too slow to achieve that ambition before the year runs out? Relax. Life is not as you take it to be. Your efficiency or deficiency in life is determined by your reactions to these issues. The winner is always the one who is not slain in warfare. You must aspire to be a winner always. Your lot in this race of life, especially when it is called TODAY, has only but a 24 hours time frame and can never borrow an additional minute to prolong itself. Do not worry; you will get to your destiny.
The month of September is there for you to remember that you have a lot to achieve in life, and those things have a time frame. How you take this month in your life and career is a choice only you could make!
