Hence, the filmmakers who don’t want to do extra work to cook up new stories need to take precaution about these things before venturing into the making of such films. Some of these remake flicks have high-budget animation stuff to appeal to the audience while others have eye-popping action sequences. These features glue the youngsters to the seat. In this article, we would be looking at the Bollywood remakes of Hollywood films that have appealed to the Indian audience.

1. Chamatkar: Made in the year 1992, this film was the remake of Blackbeard’s Ghost 1968.

2. Tezaab: This movie was the remake of the English movie Streets of Fire in 1984.

3. Agneepath: This 1990 film was a remake of the 1983 Hollywood film 1983.

4. Ghajani: It was the remake of another Hollywood film Memento.

5. Ek Ladka Ek Ladki: This 1992 flick was the remake of 1987 Hollywood film Overboard.

6. Baazigar: Made in 1991, this film was remake of the 1983 Hollywood movie A Kiss Before Dying.

7. Khal-Naaikaa: This 1993 movie was a remake of 1992 Hollywood film ‘The Hand that Rocks the Cradle’.

8. Yeh Dillagi: This 1994 Hindi film is a remake of Hollywood movie Sabrina made in 1954.

9. Main Khiladi Tu Anari: Made in 1994, the movie was a remake of Hollywood flick The Hard Way released in 1991.

10. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar: This blockbuster movie came in 1992. As expected, this flick was the remake of the Hollywood film Breaking Away released in 1979.

Personal Life

Saira Banu married Dilip Kumar in 1976 at the age of 22 and decided to quit acting to lead a family life. But later on she did cameo in Duniya starring Dilip Kumar, 1984 and Faisla in 1988. She was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Pune International Film Festival in January 2011.

Paramount Films put out a comedy film named “Dinner For Schmucks” into theaters last summer. I recently checked it out, and I’m still laughing over how amusing it was. I’ve haven’t seen Steve Carell be so funny. I concur with all the top critics. He genuinely did carry this movie, playing the comedic role of the idiot guy Barry. The movie centered around two men named Tim (Paul Rudd) and Barry (Steve Carell). Tim’s hoping to get ahead within his investment company, or as they put it, move from the 6th floor to the 7th floor. He comes up with a strategy, so his boss invites him to a dinner, which could decide the fate of his promotion. Unfortunately, the dinner is no average dinner. He is required to invite the highest quality idiot he is able to find because his colleagues like to laugh at ignorant people, and seriously give rewards out to the biggest idiot.

Tim eventually comes across Barry, and is convinced he would be a perfect fit since he collects dead rats and dresses them up. Unfortunately, he wasn’t quite aware what he was in for when he became friends with Barry. Barry virtually destroys Tim’s love life and nearly his business life in just 2 days.

Barry invites a stalker ex-fling to Tim’s house, sabotages a business meeting, forces Tim into a situation where has to propose to the stalker, throws Tim’s back out, tosses Tim’s Porsche keys into someone’s apartment, and more. But the film ends with a terrific premise because Barry ends up fixing what was most significant to Tim.

I think the movie was extremely funny. It brought one humorous scene right after another. It was never uninteresting and significantly outrageous. There was some comedy in this movie that I’ve never experienced before. They really looked deep to bring out crazy laughs in this flick. The plot was extremely good. However, it really wouldn’t have mattered if it wasn’t, because the flick was just funny as hell. A complete riot.

Steve Carell was great as Barry. Anything you could imagine to do wrong, he did it. It was insane. Oh, and there’s a scene with a lady puppet, accusing people of looking down her dress, which was completely amusing.

Nothing is as much fun as getting together with your entire family in front of the couch, popcorn fully popped, snacks on the coffee table, and everyone hunkers down for family movie night. Now, most family movies tend to be animated or involve puppets, but for this upcoming movie night, you’ve chosen a fine selection of action movies to help the stress of the week just melt away!

Wait, what? Action movies? Are you serious? Sure, what’s wrong with a cool action flick the entire family can enjoy, right?
