Recipe Ingredients

8 oz. all-purpose flour 2 cups

6 oz. shredded (grated) cheddar cheese

4 oz. butter (softened)

2 egg yolks

Salt and pepper

Preparation and Cooking instructions

In a bowl, mix together: the all-purpose flour, the salt and pepper and the shredded cheese.

Then, rub in the butter and add the yolks of two eggs.

Stir everything together. Then knead until smooth.

Next, on a floured board, roll out the dough until it is approx. ¼ inch thick.

(Almost done). Now, cut the floured cheese into fingers; about 3 inches long and ½ an inch wide.

Place the cheese straws onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Ready to bake.

Bake for approximately 20 minutes until golden at 350°F (180°C).

6 Oz. troza (queso cheddar rallado)

4 Oz. de manteca (suavizado)

2 Yemas de huevo

En un tazón, mezclar: la harina, la sal y la pimienta y el queso rallado.

A continuación, frotar con la mantequilla y añadir las yemas de dos huevos.

Revuelva todo junto. Luego amase hasta que quede una masa suave.

Luego, en una placa enharinada, hasta que la masa se trata de pulgada de grosor.
