If you are a World of Warcraft Druid, you will have the ability to to transform into a Bear. This skill was given to you at level ten, after which, you received a letter from your Druid Trainer, instructing you to speak with him at level fourteen for another quest, where you will obtain the “Cure Poison” skill. It is this quest that we are now going to look at,

Once again you will be instructed to go and see Dendrite Starblazer in Nighthaven, but at least this time, you’ll have your Teleport spell to get you there. He will tell you that there is a land suffering from the effects of a mysterious poison, you’ll be given a vial to collect some water from it’s source, which may hold the key to solving this mystery.

If you are a Night Elf Druid, you will have to go to a cave, called the Cliffspring Falls, north east of Auberdine.The cave entrance is guarded by Naga warriors, but once you have fought them off, you must use the vial to take a sample from the water falling from the cave’s entrance. This must be taken back to Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine.

She will send you off to gather two special ingredients, which will turn your water sample into an antidote, which will cure the sick Deers throughout Darkshore. These ingredients are twelve Lunar Fungi and five Earthroots. The former can be found in cave where you fought Lunaclaw in your Bear quest and in nearby caves populated by Moonkins. The latter are found in the nearby ruins of Ameth’aran, or outside Darnassus.

To get Earthroots, you really need Herbalism as your profession, if you have, then well and good. If not, then you have two options, you can either ask people if you can buy them from them, or go to the Auction House. Thanks to patch 1.9, you’ll find an Auction House in Darnassus, and if your lucks in, you’ll find some Earthroots to bid for. You may even be able to use the buy out button and get them immediately.

If you are unable to get the five Earthroots at the Auction House, your last resort is to south of Dolnaar and kill Timberlings, every so often they will drop them.

Once you have your two special ingredients, return to Alanndarian Nightsong in Auberdine, where she will make the cure for the sick Deers. You will have enough antidote for ten doses and once you have healed your ten deers, return once more to Dentrite in Nighthaven, where you’ll be congratulated and sent to Mathrengyl Bearwalker, who will give you the “Cure Poison” skilll.

Tauren Druids in the meantime, will also have been asked to get a water sample, which is believed to be corrupted. This time, it is Gazelle who are affected, by water from the foul mountain top of Dreadmist Peak. As you go up the mountain, watch out for Orcs of the Burning Blade, who will attack you on sight.At the very top, you will see four Orcs around a pool of bubbling water. Once you’ve disposed of them, use the vial and get your sample, but be warned, you’ll be attacked again, by two Burning Blade toxicologists.

Get out of there as fast as you can, and get back to Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads.

Here, you will be sent off to find two special ingredients, five Earthroots and five Kodo Horns.The latter are easy to get, just look to see if there are any Kodos on the oasis nearby, kill them and remove their horns.

Once again, Earthroots are more difficult, if Herbalism isn’t your profession. You’ll have to try to buy them ,or go to the Auction House in Orgrimmar.

When you have all your ingredients, go back to Tonga at the Crossroads again, where they will be made into a salve to cure ten gazelle. you must travel to north of the Barrens, cure the ten Gazelle, then return and speak to Dendrite in Nighthaven. After being congratulated on doing so well, you will go back to Thunder Bluff, where you will speak to Turak Runetotem and finally get your “Cure Poison” skill.

Gold-Spotted Rabbitfish (S. punctatus)

The gold-spotted rabbitfish (S. punctatus) is a rather large species that can reach a maximum length of almost 16 inches, with most individuals staying under 12. It can be found around the Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Palau, the Ryukyu Islands, the Ogasawara Islands, the Mariana Islands, the Caroline Islands, and the Kapingamarangi Islands, as well as the eastern edge of the Indian Ocean, the Gulf of Thailand, and the South China Sea.

This species also schools when young in shallow estuaries, but is found in pairs in lagoons and on deeper reefs when mature.

Bicolored Foxface ( S. uspi)

A smaller species, the bicolored foxface (S. uspi) reaches a maximum length of about 9½ inches. Unlike many of the other species, it also has a rather small geographic range, being endemic to Fiji, with a few being reported around New Caledonia.

Still, the juveniles do live in schools with adults living in pairs in deep pools inside reef crests and around dropoffs at reef edges.

Blue-Lined Rabbitfish (S. doliatus)

S. doliatus has a lot of common names, typically being called the blue-lined rabbitfish but also going by the names scribbled rabbitfish, pencil-streaked rabbitfish, two-barred rabbitfish, and barred spinefoot.

It can reach a maximum length of almost 10 inches, but like the first three species mentioned, it is most commonly less than 8. It has a relatively small range, though, being found in the lndo-Malayan area and from Australia and Tonga north to Palau and Kosrae.

Juveniles do form schools and pair up at a relatively small size, but they may still travel in loose schools, oftentimes with other fishes. All are typically found in deep reef lagoons and along drop-offs at reef edges.

Aquarium Care and Compatibility

Rabbitfishes are categorically tough when it comes to dealing with disease and less-than-perfect water quality. They are as hardy as any other fishes we commonly keep in our aquariums. It’s important to feed them well and give them the right foods, however.

All of these rabbitfishes are algae grazers in the wild, but they’ll also eat meaty foods, including various types of zooplankton, brine shrimp, and bits of fish, clam, etc. I’ve also fed the species that I’ve cared for many types of flake foods and veggies from the grocery store. You can basically feed them a wide variety of foods in an aquarium.

It is important for you to give them plenty of plant matter in their diet, though, which may be primarily plantbased flake or frozen cube foods if you prefer. Spirulina flakes are also good, as is dried seaweed (nori and kombu). But if you use the latter, make sure to buy unseasoned types, as you don’t want to dose your fishes with any sorts of additives, preservatives, etc.

Of course, the meaty things can be used as supplements, which the fishes seem to enjoy quite a lot given that they are considered to be herbivores. They’ll typically get some of their own food by picking at algae growing on rocks and such in aquariums, and thus can be great cleaners. Be sure they get enough food to stay nice and thick, as a wafer-thin body and pinched-in stomach are bad signs.

Aside from their overall health, there’s another important reason to keep them well fed. While it’s usually not an issue, if they do get too hungry, they’ll oftentimes start feeding on corals. Rabbitfishes have been known to nibble on various stony and soft corals and will likely go after things like zoanthids and button polyps first.

I personally have never seen this happen, as I keep my fishes well fed, but there are plenty of stories of them doing so. If you plan to keep any of these in a reef aquarium, be sure to keep the food coming and keep an eye on them in case they start eating things you don’t want eaten.

When it comes to compatibility, rabbitfishes will typically get along fine with anything else that’s not a rabbitfish of the same or similar species. However, you should always be aware that, like any other type of fish, each individual can have its own personality, and every once in a while, even the supposedly nicest fish can become a problem.

While juvenile rabbitflshes typically live in schools in the wild, trying to keep two or three of the same species of any of these in one tank will usually lead to fighting. It’s an odd thing, but in the confined space of a tank, they just won’t get along with each other. But if the tank is big enough and several small individuals of similar size are added simultaneously, their schooling nature sometimes overrides their aggression and they may get along – at least for a while.

In general, you’d need to add at least four or five at once, and even that won’t guarantee peace. Personally, I think it’s a bad idea to try this unless you’ve got a really big tank, as in at least several hundred gallons.

When it comes to adults, they should also be kept one to a tank, unless you can find a mated pair for sale, but I don’t recall ever seeing a pair being offered together, so that’s probably out. It may be possible to keep more than one if they’re very different species, but again, I wouldn’t try it unless you’ve got a really big aquarium.

Other than that, I guess the only other thing to recommend is having plenty of hiding places for a rabbitfish. While personalities differ, they oftentimes can be rather skittish and like to have some places to lay low. In all of the Polynesian islands, the Pu shell or Conch shell is a very sacred instrument used to begin ceremonies, ward off unwanted spirits, bless unions and was also used for important communication between islands in ancient times.

Particularly in Hawaii, the conch shell is a very intimate part of every ceremony, beginning the tone of the event-majestic, deep, resonant and a part of the ever-changing seas, which nourish and surround these islands.

We managed to trade old rope (a villager in Tonga had just gotten a cow!) while we were sailing the South Pacific for a beautiful huge Queen conch shell and it traveled thousands of miles with us across the sea to our final destination (for now)-Maui.

I was a bit reluctant to start drilling a hole in our fantastic, unmarred Pu shell, but I really wanted to make my own horn-making it that much more special and intimate of an instrument for our wedding ceremonies. So I researched how to drill a conch shell horn and found a very helpful video on the process.

Basically you start with a VERY small drill to make the first hole and you drill where the spiral starts on the shell. It can be a very pronounced point, or in our case a somewhat small nub where the spiral starts on the closed and largest part of the shell. Only go in about a ¼ of an inch-you don’t want to compromise the inner spiral which gives the horn it’s unique sound. Then you just keep changing the drill bit to a larger bit until you get about a ½ inch hole. I kept trying to blow a sound, and finally got the sound I wished for, stopping with about ½ inch hole (again only ¼ inch deep). Once I got the desired hole size, I carefully filed the edges of the hole until it became smooth.

Blowing the Pu shell in Hawaii is a very sacred moment; it is done with reverence, respect and the deepest of connections with the spirits of Aloha and Pono. We blow the shell to say goodbye to the setting sun; we blow the shell to begin a special ceremony or bless a union. In ancient days, the Pu shell was also used as a communication device between islands-allowing passage, permission to come ashore and sending important messages. To blow the conch shell, one must allow the spirit to flow and your intent must be very clear, making your personal connection with the spirits that guide you in such an important and ceremonial tradition.

Does this company allow internet marketing? This is a very important point to consider before joining any business! Social networking and internet marketing have become innovative ways to reach millions of people on the internet. However, many companies still don't realize we have stepped into the information age, and they prohibit distributors from advertising on the internet.

Although Sisel International has strict rules about advertising or marketing their products on the internet, they do seem to offer distributors an opportunity to design their own website. The website must be submitted for approval and must meet specific guidelines as set forth in their policy. If approved, they apparently must pay a $ 1000 annual website registration fee.

The corporate website does appear to be a replicated website with a product page, an automated shopping cart, and online distributor registration.

Social Networking

Sisel does have a link to a media center on their corporate home page and also links to social networking sites which currently are Facebook and Twitter. They also have a link to a company blog which was started in April 2010.

How Do They Get Distributors and Customers?

There are Business Opportunity Meetings scheduled on the corporate Event Calendar, so I am assuming you must recruit by getting people to hotel meetings. I did not see any mention of ways to recruit, so I am assuming you go after your friends, relatives and co-workers.

They also apparently promote Timeless Home Party Meetings as a fun way to get information on their Timeless Beauty Products and learn how to conduct an in home party.

My Review

In review of everything that Sisel International has to offer, they do appear to be a good company. There is a low start up cost which makes it appealing to broke people who want to start a business, however how many people really want to drag their friends and relatives to hotels or have in home parties.

To become successful and continually grow this business you will need to recruit others and sell products and teach your group to do the same. If that is what you are looking for the Sisel International opportunity might be a good fit for you.

However, it does not appear that they have any marketing training, as is the case with most most MLM's. The reason 95% of network marketers fail is because you have untrained people teaching untrained people. Without the proper training and mentoring most people will fail, so if you want to join Sisel and be in the top 5% you must seek a mentor and participate in a leadership development program.

If you are not willing to seek a mentor and participate in a leadership development program then I would suggest continuing to look for a network marketing company that does provide marketing training and allow you to market their products on the internet. Otherwise you might be interested in looking for an internet based product and company to learn the skills to make money online as an alternative.

Caught Your Interest? Want to Learn More!

My three experiences:

1. I needed crew to accompany me across the Tasman Sea from New Zealand to Australia so I posted a notice in a Yacht Club in the Bay of Islands. A young female backpacker from Israel answered it; Orit had no sailing experience and was hitchhiking round the world… she was a great asset on the journey. Orit’s attitude and willingness to learn, participate in taking the helm and doing watches made her a much valued crew member and she cooked up some brilliant meals.

2. In Australia when I was sailing up the east coast to the Whitsunday Islands I put a notice up in a couple of Back-Packer hostels and in no time at all had a couple from England to accompany me. They had no experience.

3. Sailing to the Pacific Islands on someone else’s yacht there were five of us one of them a young girl hitchhiker who had applied online, she traveled from Auckland to Tonga and then jumped ship to another yacht to continue on her voyage around the world. Her only experience was a trip on one of the Tall Ships where she learnt a few basic skills.

That is just how easy it is! The main thing you will need is time and the right attitude!

How to Make Yourself a Desirable Crew Mate:

Go to the local Sailing Club or Yacht Club and find out when the mid-week races are on or any other ‘fun’ races and be there early… I guarantee there will be several yacht owners happy to take on extra crew.

If you have the time go out a few weeks in a row and make it known that you are keen to crew on a sailboat… even coastal. Like those that hitchhike from one city or island to another. A lot of skippers do deliveries for the owners you could catch one of these delivery sailboats… and some pay or provide meals.

Learn as much as you can about being aboard a sailboat… the skipper will have you doing basic boat ‘stuff’… hoisting a sail or on the winch pulling in a few sheets… And that brings me to something else…

Learn the terminology… because it is a whole new language… you can learn some of this on line so that you’re not a complete dummy when the skipper asks you to pull in the main sheet or adjust the traveler!

Have you got any usable skills to make you more desirable? Are you a good cook or at least can put together a hearty meal? Have you got any other unique skills hairdresser or masseuse, dive instructor or anything else to put you up there above the rest? Maybe speak another language or know fun card games? Are you keen on fishing and can catch a few meals?

Be aware most of the time you won’t be sitting back sipping on cold drinks. Everyone on board helps out with daily sailing tasks. Keeping the boat clean, and well maintained, cooking, navigation and even taking the helm/wheel and steering the boat though an auto pilot will be on most times.

One of the most important things is the roster-ed watch, keeping your eyes open for ships or anything else that you would need to avoid as well as weather changes. This is something the crew do 24 hours a day.

Respect that a yacht can be some one’s home treat it that way, keep your ‘stuff’ tidy, space is a premium, watch out for the heads (toilet) etiquette nothing worse than unblocking a marine toilet.

The Most Important Things when You Hitchhike Aboard Sailboats:

You must be easy to get along with!

When I crossed the Tasman Sea with Orit a backpacker with no experience I also had a guy on board with a lot of experience in yacht races. He was an absolute pain, a real know it all that did not pull his weight and we could not wait to get rid of him at Lord Howe Island off the coast of Australia.

Orit by that time had learnt how to steer the boat, was very good on the GPS after all she was 24 years and it’s just another computer and could plot a course on the chart. She had picked up a lot of new skills.

Experiences teach you a lot in life… don’t they?

The other situation I came across was on the voyage I mentioned above to the Pacific Islands with 5 of us on board. The young girl hitchhiker paid for her trip in a different way, we paid just for our daily food at the time $20A a day and helped out with all the sailing tasks.

She slept with the 50 years something skipper and the very loud ‘bonking’ kept us awake at night and was a contention with the rest of us who pulled our weight in sailing and maintaining the boat. She was seasick half the voyage and rarely did the dishes or any other chores.

Crew harmony comes above everything else on board, particularly on smaller boats. There aren’t many spots to hide on a small yacht when folks don’t get along.

My experiences were not ‘that bad’ but I have heard of some horrific situations where the Captain and crew… putting it mildly did not get along! As a female skipper I had to be careful who I took on board as crew so keep this in mind when presenting yourself for crew.

The Sailboat and the Captain:

It can be easy to get caught up in the excitement of the voyage and finding a ride but take a step back! Meet the Captain and spend some time talking to him.

How much experience has he/she had?

Have they just sailed coastal or offshore?

Is the Captain easy to talk to and ‘transparent’?

How long have they owned the boat?

How do they manage night shift rotations?

What are the Captains expectations of you?

If you are a young girl and the Captains a male… consider if you would trust him alone miles out at sea… best to travel in numbers!

What season are you sailing in e.g. not hurricane/cyclone season!

You are going to spend a lot of time together, weeks, maybe months so make sure you feel comfortable! Avoid the jerks and ones who have tendencies to be a Captain Bligh!

And… Make sure you see the boat!

Does it look sea worthy based on ones you went on at the sailing club?

Ask another skipper if it’s a sea worthy boat!

Does it looked well equipped? Ask about safety and navigation equipment!

Best of all go on a shakedown cruise… Do you feel comfortable?

This is all from the hitchhiker side of the fence but the Captain needs to feel comfortable with you. Present yourself clean and tidy and be polite. Give the skipper reasons you would be an asset on board and offer to help prepare the vessel for the voyage no cost of course… And do it! This is a good way along with a shakedown cruise to see how you’ll get along before you lose sight of land.

Put yourself in the Captains shoes… it’s his boat… why would he want to choose you to cross the ocean with as crew? What can you do for him/her?
