How to Read a Man’s Mind and Figure His True Intentions? Use These 7 Tips to Your Advantage

If you can read a man’s mind and figure out what his intentions are, then you are automatically at peace. It will give you a great advantage and you will be able satisfy him on all counts and be satisfied in return. These tips will help you to get inside a man’s mind and know his true feelings and intentions.

Get him to talk while you listen
It is no use talking all the time and trying to make him listen. Pleading and begging him to let you know what he really feels about you will only make him more stubborn and reluctant to let you know his innermost feelings and desires. Be patient and let him to all the talking. Slowly but surely he will let his feelings and intentions be known.

Watch him closely and pick up signals
Sometimes all you have to do is to watch your guy closely and learn to pick up signals. He may not even know it – but he is unconsciously sending you these signals which you have to be quick to intercept and decode. By his behavior you will know whether he is taking you for a ride or whether he truly cares for you.

Read between the lines
Learn to read between the lines and understand what he is trying to tell you. Even though what he says may be one thing, it is easy to pick up facts and the truth by looking into his eyes and hearing what he is not saying aloud. A small smile, a wink and gesture will speak volumes.

Be one step ahead
You don’t have to be a psychiatrist and pick his brain to know what he is telling you. Just watch his behavior when he is with you and learn to anticipate his wishes and desires. All you have to do is give him what he wants even before he asks for it. This will make him reveal more of his feelings and intentions.

Question him artfully
There is a way to get information from him without being too direct and transparent. Ask him what you want to know in a manner that will put him at ease and rest. He will think nothing of letting you know about his thoughts and feelings, intentions and plans if he learns to relax with you.

Make him crazy about you and he will become transparent
The easiest way to make him do what you want is to make him fall deeply and madly in love with you. He will want to satisfy your every whim and fancy and to do this he will be more than ready to spill the beans. Once you become indispensable to him – he will want to keep you at any cost.

Don’t ignore the obvious
Sometimes, the truth is staring at you in the face, but you can be in denial. Don’t be blind to what is happening around you. If the signs are pretty obvious for you to see – read them. Don’t pretend that you can’t read the signs – be quick to intercept vibes and look for the obvious.

The One And Only Proven, Effective Way To Get Your Articles Read

A long time ago, writing articles became a popular way to earn a living, yet so many people still struggle to do it. That’s because the easy part is writing the articles. The next bit is harder, and that’s getting people to read them. And if your articles don’t get read, then you won’t make any money.

It doesn’t matter if you’re writing articles for your own money-making blog, or if you’re writing articles for clients or for submitting to magazines. If nobody wants to read them, then you may as well not even bother writing them.

So how do you make sure that people read your articles from beginning all the way through to the end?

It begins with a curiosity-invoking title to get your readers’ attention. But that’s still not enough. They have to want to finish reading your articles once they start.

So what you need to do is to become the person they can trust to write articles they want to read, so that every time they see something you’ve written they no only want to read it, but look forward to doing so.

And the way to do this is by writing things simply so that they don’t have to think.

The late, great copywriter Eugene Schwartz put it like this, “Write to the chimpanzee brain.”

What this means is that readers want to learn something from reading our articles, but they don’t want to have to try and figure out what that is. They want you to tell them in the simplest way you possibly can so that the information is easy to read and easy to understand because they can’t ask questions if they don’t understand something.

So keep it simple. Don’t use big words or long sentences. And I’ve found that one of the easiest ways to do this is to write quickly, because this forces me to write as I speak, or more accurately, to write as I think because it doesn’t give me time to second-guess myself or try and come up with big words.

We’re usually much clearer in what we’re trying to convey when we speak to someone as opposed to writing to them.

So write quickly and get your articles written while the toughest are clear in your mind.

This technique has worked for successful writers and marketers all over the world.

And it can work for you too.

How To Get Attention, or: ‘As You Read This, You Feel an Irresistible Urge to Go On Reading!’

We all want attention. As children we crave the attention of our parents. Later in life, we want to be seen and noticed by friends and family. And when running most any type of business, we must attract the attention of our potential customers.

But how do you get somebody’s undivided attention? When you were an infant, you got attention by screaming and crying. Then your parents knew you needed your diapers changed. As an adult, you can try using the same method to get noticed. Sure, you will get noticed – but in a negative way!

On the Internet, every website that is selling something has the need to be attention-grabbing within seconds; to make the visitors read about their offer rather than just clicking away. Some are then tempted to use the infant method of getting attention: screaming and yelling.

Popup-windows that pop up in your face and obscure the page text you’re just trying to read, is one example. Flash-generated intro’s that stop you in your tracks and say “Heeey, wait – before you read about our products I’ve got this f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c visual effect to show you…!” is another example of attention-grabbing contraptions that actually defeat their own purpose. They visually yell and scream at you, and draw your attention to the fact that you’d better spend your precious time somewhere else.

Then there is the type of web page that plays some sound effect the moment you arrive. Either it is a piece of music (always just the kind you hate!) or a recorded sales pitch.

Oh yes, then there is the Blinking Text… which blinks at frantic pace, just right to trigger an epileptic seizure.

One of my websites is called “The Hosting Finder”. Primarily, it offers some reviews of carefully selected web hosting companies. I am not selling anything on this website, and so I do not feel it would be appropriate to use a hard-selling jargon in my introductory headline. Right now, it reads:

Finding a Web Hosting Provider That Will Take Good Care of Your Precious Web

Pages … Can Be Confusing

(I then explain how I researched the web to find good hosting services based on un-biased customer ratings rather than hype.)

Recently, a marketing consultant offered to look at this website and give me some feedback at no cost. I accepted, and after checking my landing page he declared the headline to be “generic and bland”. Instead, he suggested the following:

Want An Objective ‘Client Feedback’ Guide To Help You Find A 100% Trustworthy, Inexpensive, And Complete Web Hosting Service Provider (Based On Survey Results, Not Marketing Propaganda) — With All The Options You Need To Run Your Web Site Smoothly And Successfully?

Avoid The Hosting Nightmare Of Trying To Keep Your Site Live And Running Smoothly… Stop Wasting Time And Money In Costly Bad Service

In my reply, I thanked him for his trouble. I also pointed out that this flood of words might not be the optimal way of building confidence in my integrity as the provider of impartial reviews on web hosting.

Maybe I am wrong, who knows. Perhaps I should start yelling and screaming just like everybody else? But I just don’t like the idea of doing that. I’d rather hypnotize people into reading my texts. Some marketing gurus advocate this approach. Here are a few examples of how you’re supposed to hypnotize people:

1. As you keep reading this ad copy, you are feeling more and more compelled to experience all the benefits of our product.

2. The more you understand just how valuable our product could be to your life, the less you think about delaying this important purchase.

3. After you read this short ad you will feel like your problems are almost completely solved, all you will have to do is order.

Well, don’t you feel compelled to reach for your wallet right now?! These examples are not intended as a joke; they are seriously trying to persuade people. And maybe they are, although I personally find them more amusing than hypnotizing. – I’ll make a pause here; I just feel I have to go out and buy something! 🙂

OK, I am back. Time to finish this little essay on how to get attention. Oh, you have read this far? So I have managed to keep your attention then! I did it by … no, I won’t give my secret away. You’ll have to read my Special Report, which I’m selling for ONLY $97. But hurry, this exclusive limited special offer is expiring, and will always expire, at midnight; whatever day you happen to read this! 🙂

Importance of Reading Management Books

We all remember the days where we had to read books from school in order to pass our exams. Personally I hated reading and thought it was a waste of time. For me at that time, life wasn’t very complicated: Went to school, played video games, played with my friends, watched TV and tadaaa it was bedtime again. When we get older, things unfortunately are becoming more complicated. One might do the same things as an adult, instead of “going to school”, one now is “going to work”. Difference is that you certainly reflect more of your actions now, than you did when you were young. A habit, which is accompanied with aging. Every life has it’s ups-and-downs and almost everybody had to deal once or more with a broken heart, a dirty business trick or got into a conflict with a loved one.

My mother is a frequent reader and gave me a self help book, when my heart was broken once again. My life changed at that moment. That book gave me such great insights, which completely changed my way of looking at things. From that day I started reading more and I am still experiencing the benefits it has given me.

Three years ago I started my own business. From that day with few exceptions, I only started reading management books. Soon reading management books, became my biggest passion. I have read all the business must reads ever written. Did I learn from every book I read? No, I think Donald Trump certainly is a better businessman than author. But I do think that every book gave me new insights. If only I remember one sentence out of 200 pages I have read, but that one sentence helped me improving my life or it helped me while doing business. Then reading that book was of added value to me.

For me there certainly is a link between natural leadership and management books. By reading books about natural leadership I created it myself. I am really convinced that helped me becoming the successful businessman I am now.

If you ask me, what are the best leadership books or the best management books? I can’t really answer that. I think that’s always subjective. I suggest you just start reading and find out for yourself. Find out which books are of added value in your life, or of added value while doing business.

You might ask, but what is the book your mother gave you and did change your life? I am not going to tell you! The reason for this is that you can get disappointed when I tell you because your life may not change after reading it.

Point is, you have to find your “personal” life changing book yourself. The only way to do that, is to start reading good management books. So, what are you waiting for? Start today! Please let me know when you have found your life changing book, I am curious.

Good luck!

Books Set in France – Five Novels to Read Before You Travel

So you are about to set off on the trip of a lifetime to one of the most-loved countries in the world — France! You have been practicing your ‘bonjours‘ and your ‘mercis‘, and studying maps of Paris to work out how to get around, but there is one more thing you can do to make sure your trip is extra special. And that is to immerse yourself in French life by reading some books set in France.

Reading novels set in Paris or the French countryside will give you an insight into the country which is impossible to get from the guide books. As the characters walk along the Seine or drink their coffee at a table on the Parisian pavement, it will fill you with anticipation to do the same — making the experience so much sweeter when you finally get to do it yourself. If the novel is set in the past, you will have more appreciation for France’s history, bringing many of the places and old buildings alive when you visit them on your trip. And if the novel is set in the present day, there’s nothing more fun than trying to find the streets, bars and restaurants that might be mentioned in the story.

So what books should you read? Here is a selection of five novels which do a great job in bringing France to life, even before you set foot on that plane.

‘Foreign Tongue’ by Vanina Marsot

Nursing a broken heart, Anna moves to Paris from Los Angeles. She begins working as the translator of a cryptic erotic novel and of course, finds herself some romance. The book is a love-letter to the city, with plenty of wanderings through the streets as well as descriptions of French life, food and cafes.

‘The Coral Thief’ by Rebecca Stott

History, mystery, romance and intrigue intertwine in this novel set in post-Napoleonic Paris. It is 1815 and a young Englishman travels to Paris to take up a position at the renowned Jardin des Plantes. But when the collection of rare coral specimens he is carrying is stolen by a beautiful woman, he is drawn into a plot involving revolutionaries, spies and the intelligentsia. Victorian Paris comes alive in this novel, which will surely enhance any present day visit to the Jardin des Plantes, France’s main botanical garden.

‘Luncheon of the Boating Party’ by Susan Vreeland

Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s ‘Luncheon of the Boating Party’ is a famous painting depicting a group of Parisians enjoying lunch on the terrace of a restaurant on the Seine. In this novel Vreeland tells the story of those in the painting and how they came to be there. It is a glorious look at Paris at the time of the Impressionists, and you can still eat at the restaurant itself today.

‘Five Quarters of the Orange’ by Joanne Harris

Now we move out of Paris and into the Loire Valley with this novel by Harris that takes us to a village occupied by the Germans in WWII. The book moves between WWII and the present day, giving us an insight into the long-term effects the Nazi occupation had on the French people. And as it is a book by Joanne Harris, there is a of course lots of time spent exploring French food!

‘The Matchmaker of Perigord’ by Julia Stuart

We finish up with something fun and quirky, in a fictional village in France’s south-west. Amour-Sur-Belle might not be a real place, but it gives a taste of some of the declining villages of rural France. Here, the town barber decides to reinvent himself as a match-maker, quite a task when there are only 33 residents to match up. Filled with delightful characters and semi-ridiculous situations, this novel should just leave you giggling and enjoying the French temperament.

So if you have your tickets booked for Charles de Gaulle airport or you just WISH you had a holiday planned for France, try the books above to immerse yourself in a bit of French life and culture. And if you find yourself enjoying them…well, there’s plenty more to explore…Bon Voyage!

The Benefits of Reading

Did you know that reading can keep your mind active and engaged well into old age?

Several years ago when I was working as a newspaper reporter, I interviewed a woman who was a resident at a local nursing home. She was 100 years old. And she read at least one book per week. Mostly novels. She was bright, intelligent and fun to talk with.

"I love to read. It helps me keep up with what's going on in the world," she said. "A friend of mine brings me a new book every week. I look forward to her visits and I look forward to the books. We talk about the books we've read."

Reading has other benefits, as well.

For one thing, reading a good story can help you forget some of the problems in your own life.

"I can't get around much anymore," said the 100-year-old woman who lived in the nursing home. "When I go somewhere, I have to go in a wheelchair now. But when I read, I can go anywhere, anytime I want. And no one has to help me!"

Reading also sets a good example for younger generations.

From my own experience as an English teacher, and as a substitute teacher in many elementary classrooms, I have observed that the best readers are those students who see their parents reading. And I'm not talking about only reading novels or nonfiction books. Newspapers and magazines are important too. It's the reverse of the old saying, "Do as I say and not as I do." You can talk about the virtues of reading until you are so hoarse you cannot speak another word, but if you do not read yourself, your actions will communicate more to your children and grandchildren about how much you value reading than anything you could ever say.

But why is reading so important? In this day and age, with television to give us news, and movies and videos to keep us entertained, who needs to read?

The answer to that is – everyone.

Developing good reading skills does not only mean that you can read a novel or a nonfiction book or a magazine or newspaper, it also means being able to read – and understand– a credit card contract or an insurance policy. Or the directions for putting together that new shelving unit you just bought. Or the instructions for how to install a new printer to use with your computer. Or the qualifications you need to apply for a job or to take out a loan to buy a house. Or that article you found on the Internet advising consumers about the best, most economical car to buy.

Possessing good reading skills also means you can read and understand a product label. Or the directions for taking medication. Or the warnings printed on a bottle of household cleaner.

In addition, developing good reading skills means that you can think for yourself. That you can read about the advantages and disadvantages of anything from breast feeding to homeschooling to taking a vacation to Ireland. And then you make up your own mind about what's best for you and your family.

If the opportunity presents itself, I urge you to take the time to read to a child. Or take the time to let a child see you reading. Everyone will benefit. The child. You. Our society. The world as a whole.

And if you're looking for books to read that tell good true-life stories, that focus on old-fashioned family values, and that present some of the history of rural America in narrative memoir form, visit http://ruralroute2.com to read sample chapters from my books, "Christmas in Dairyland (True Stories from a Wisconsin Farm)" and "Give Me a Home Where the Dairy Cows Roam." How to Read Phrases Instead of Single Words

Learning how to read phrases instead of words is the key to speed reading. Most people can learn how to do this in just over 2.5 hours. In that short a time they can double their reading speed. Let’s learn how to do this in this article.

When you first learn to read, you learn to read words one letter at a time. For example, initially the dog, is viewed by your brain as a series of letter D O G. You sound each letter out aloud and pronounce them to create the word dog.

The same thing can be done with the word hot. At first it is viewed as three separate letters. However, when you put the letters together you get the word hot. Here is where it starts to get interesting. What happens when you place the word hot in front of the word dog?

The word hot dog is neither hot, nor is it a dog. Instead your brain perceives these two separate words as a single unit of meaning. You are now reading a short phrase instead of individual words. Let’s look at another example that is even longer.

Let us look at the name of this country. This country is called the United States Of America. Notice the county’s name consists of four separate words: United, States, Of, and America. Your brain doesn’t look at these four separate words and feel like it is overwhelmed. Instead, your view these four separate words as a single phrase, the name of the US.

By training yourself to see larger and larger groupings of words as single phrases you can easily see how your reading speed would increase dramatically. It is easy to learn, and only takes a few short hours to accomplish. Try it. You are going to like the results you experience.
