9 Super Foods That Increases Sperm Count and Sperm Motility

Low sperm count is a primary reason of the increase in male infertility. However, specific foods can be considerably beneficial in helping men improve their sperm count. For a man to produce healthy sperms, there are important vitamins, minerals and nutrients that the male body must absorb.

Zinc is an important mineral to improve production of healthy sperm. Furthermore, it is also important in the production of testosterone, which is the male sexual hormone that governs sexual function among men. Decreased levels of testosterone will not only cause lower libido but also erectile dysfunction, and lower sperm count.

Therefore, it is crucial to incorporate foods that are high in Zinc not only to increase sperm count but also to enhance sperm motility. This is also important to increase the number of able sperm cells in the semen, which have the ability to fertilize egg cells and start conception.

Foods Rich in Zinc:

* High-protein meat (beef, lamb, and turkey)

* Seafood (oysters and other shellfish)

* Nuts

* Barley

* Sunflower seeds

* Pumpkin seeds

Also, it is crucial to take note that meat is the best source of zinc. This is due to the fact that your body will likely absorb the mineral readily from this source compared to other food products. Selenium is another mineral that your body needs in producing healthy sperm. Foods that are rich in selenium includes:

* Red meat (Not good for kidney)

* Cottage cheese

* Poultry products

Aside from above minerals, specific Vitamins such as B12 (Cobalamin), C, and E can also have significant effects for semen production. You should also include foods that contain these vitamins.

Foods that are rich in Vitamin B12 include clams, oysters, mussels, liver, liver, caviar, octopus, fish, crab and lobster, beef, lamb, cheese, and eggs. Meanwhile, foods that are rich in Vitamin C are chili peppers, guavas, bell peppers, fresh herbs, dark leafy greens, broccoli, kiwi fruits, papayas, oranges, and strawberries. Lastly, foods that are rich in Vitamin E are sunflower seeds, paprika, almonds, pine nuts, peanuts, dried herbs, dried apricots, pickled green olives, and cooked spinach.

Water is also important to boost sperm count, because keeping the body well hydrated is very important. This will increase the volume of semen that a man produce, which significantly affect the sperm count. It is crucial to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Aside from keeping your semen volume high, water can also help you eliminate toxins from the body.

How to Get Children Using Fruit Juicers

For children who like creating recipes in the kitchen what could be healthier than producing their own fresh fruit drinks as a healthy alternative to fizzy drinks.

Nowadays, cold press juicers are easy to use and easy to clean. They are relatively quiet and fascinating for children to watch as the waste coming out of the pulp tube changes colour. Getting your children to create their own recipes can add to the appeal, and just about every combination of fruit will work.

It is good to have a variety of fruit in your diet. Each fruit has something to offer: blackberries and pears contain potassium, raspberries contain manganese, blueberries are high in anti-oxidants and strawberries have more vitamin C than oranges. Some vegetables and salads can also be added if your children like the taste. Spinach is a good one to choose because it turns a juice a gruesome green colour without altering the flavour.

The fruit needs to be washed and then cut into small chunks to extract the optimal amount of juice. You may want to do this yourself and then let your children get on with feeding the machine. This should be done slowly and without force. There is a tool to use to push fruit into the feed tube to keep fingers away from the moving parts.

You will need to peel hard-skinned fruits like citrus fruits but not soft-skinned fruits like kiwi fruits and also remove pits and apple pips. Bananas won’t juice well so they are better put in smoothies which are best made in a liquidizer.

Softer fruits go into the machine before the ones with harder flesh so cut the apples into chunks and put them into the bottom of a bowl, put the oranges on top of them and the berries at the top and everything will be in the right order to be fed into the machine.

The colourful juice will come out one side and the pulp the other. Not much of the pulp produced is edible but can be put on a compost heap so it is not completely wasted.

Fully ripe fruit produces the best yield and the sweetest juice. Honey can be added to any juice that is too tart, but choosing the right mixture of fruit should guarantee this won’t be necessary.

Buying fruit in bulk from markets or using a harvest of even normally hard-to-freeze fruits from your garden will keep the price of juicing down. The edible parts of windfall fruit can be juiced saving a lot of wastage. Storing juice in a freezer takes up less room than the fruits needed to make it.

Using shop-bought frozen or tinned fruit will save you time if you are in a hurry. Frozen fruit should be de-frosted before it is used.

The juice is best drunk straight away. It can be kept in a fridge for 1-2 days but it is so delicious it will probably be too good to resist for that long.

Children who are encouraged to get involved with the making of fresh juices may be far more enthusiastic about drinking them.

Bearded Dragon Food Guidelines To Follow

When it comes to feeding your bearded dragon, there are some very important guidelines you need to follow. These lizards have some strict but easy to understand needs. One very important food they need is vegetables.

As with other reptiles their main food is usually live insects such as crickets and meal worms. This is not true for the bearded dragon, their main needs are greens, fruits, and vegetables. Keep this in mind when you are preparing your bearded dragon food.

Some of the best types of vegetables for your dragon are:

Greens:

This consist of Collard Greens, Mustard Greens, and Spinach, please DO NOT ever feed your beardie iceberg lettuce. Ice berg lettuce can kill your beardie.

Carrots:

Carrots are very important to your beardies growth, the ingredients inside help promote nutrients. Some other good foods include but are not limited to, are, squash, zucchini, kale and others.

Fruits:

Beardies love fruits of all kinds, most love strawberries, mango’s, kiwi. These fruits are very good for them. You can also feed them grapes, apples,

As with most foods, be careful on the amount you feed them. Feed your bearded dragon food that he/she can eat within about 15 minutes and remove all uneaten portions as they will spoil and harm your beardie.

Make sure all vegetables are cut up into small pieces, the best way to do this is to judge the distance between your beardie’s eyes, this is how big the pieces should be. If the pieces are too big the beardie can choke on them. If too small some beardies will not eat them.

Your bearded dragon should be fed no more than twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening. A good rule to follow is to feed them about an hour after you turn on their lights and again about an hour before turning their lights off.

Keep their food and water dishes clean everyday. Do not use harsh soaps or detergents as the residue can harm your beardie. Make sure to thoroughly rinse with warm water to help kill any left over bacteria.

Bearded Dragon food can also consist of crickets and meal worms, it is a good idea to schedule these into your beardies food schedule once a week or so. They do have good nutrient value but also are very high on fat content. So feed to your beardie sparingly.

Another important part of your beardies food is to add calcium supplements to their food. This can be done easily by purchasing powder calcium/vitamins and sprinkling on their food. This is especially important to do if you are raising a female for breeding purposes.

These guys will usually always look and act hungry, please do not be tempted to feed them more than what they eat within 15 minutes after feeding them. Over feeding can not only lead to an overweight bearded dragon but can also cause some serious health issues.

Following these simple steps can ensure you will have a happy and healthy bearded dragon for years to come.

I hope this information has been helpful for you and your beardie.
