Learning How to Eat Right

Learning what to eat is not as important has learning how to eat right. Sure, you can eat all the healthy food in the world but if you do not eat it correctly, then there really is no point in having your diet if you are trying to lose weight and become healthy. A lot of people get the idea wrong and tend to binge on all the right food. What you really should be doing is keeping a good balance of the food that you eat so that everything falls into place when you are talking about losing weight and becoming healthy in the long run. Here are easy that will help you when you are learning how to eat right.

Eat some meat, not all of it – Meat is actually good for you. As long as it's clean meat and not processed in a factory that supplies fast food outlets, then you can eat some of the meat that you have on your plate. The trick is to make sure that you prepare a small portion for yourself instead of the whole steak that you bought for dinner. In fact, you will be saving yourself some money as well because one whole steak can become 4 different servings for 4 different meals through the week. This is economical and you will feel much better with yourself once you have disciplined yourself into doing this.

Eat a lot of vegetables – Wondering what to eat for the rest of your meal if you have small portions of meat? You can increase your intake of vegetables instead. This can help you feel full and satisfied and as long as you prepare it correctly, like in a salad, you can actually enjoy the meal as well. Having more greens on your dish than rice and bread is a good indication that you will be headed to a much healthier and much leaner you.

Drink water – People forget that water is one of the most important parts of the meal. A couple of glasses with each meal should keep you hydrated and help break down the food in your stomach. Sodas will only have you feeling more full and there is too much sugar and fat in sodas what will leave you feeling unhealthy.

Ten Foods Your Dog Should Never Eat

As a dog owner, we all want what’s best for our dog. With the newest reports about the proper diet for your dog, they should have carbohydrates, vegtables, etc., more and more dog owners are giving their dog table scraps without realizing that there are certain foods a dog should never have. Before you put your left-overs in your dog’s bowl be sure to read the top ten foods they shouldn’t eat.

1. Chocolate – To dogs, chocolate acts as a stimulant, making your dog’s heartbeat accelerate or beat irregularly, leading to seizures and even cardiac arrest. To compound things further, it also acts as a severe diuretic, causing frequent urination, vomiting, and/or diarrhea. If you even suspect your dog has consumed chocolate, take him to an animal hospital immediately.

2. Grapes and Raisins – Grapes and raisins create havoc with your dog’s kidneys and digestive system. What’s worse is that the amount of grapes needed to cause problems can vary greatly among individual dogs. Symptoms include frequent urination, vomiting, and diarrhea.

3. Onions – Onions cause the breakdown of a dog’s red blood cells, which deprives his cells of much-needed oxygen. If you’re in the habit of feeding your dog table scraps, make sure the dish was not prepared with onions, as the effects can be cumulative over a period of time. Symptoms can vary greatly, ranging from vomiting and diarrhea to loss of appetite, fever, or exhaustion.

4. Macadamia Nuts – While the exact chemical compound is still unknown, even a small amount of macadamia nuts can cause fever, irregular heartbeat, seizures, or mild paralysis.

5. Alcoholic Beverages – Dogs’ physiologies are not equipped to handle alcohol consumption. They are extremely susceptible to alcohol poisoning, and even small amounts can lead to digestive problems or even death.

6. Bread Dough – Because it is soft, dogs will often swallow the dough without chewing it. When the dough hits your dog’s stomach, his body heat will cause the dough to rise inside his stomach. This rising action can cause bloating or vomiting. To compound things further, the rising action creates alcohol as a by-product, and your dog may experience the symptoms listed in the previous paragraph.

7. Caffeinated Beverages – Similar to the effects of chocolate, caffeine is a stimulant and can negatively impact your dog’s heart rate, causing seizures or heart attacks.

8. Avocadoes- Avocadoes are toxic to many animals. The offensive chemical damages heart, lung, and other essential tissues. Be aware since guacamole’s main ingredient is avocado, that you keep any such dips well out of your dog’s reach.

9. Pitted Fruits – (Peaches, Pears, Cherries, and Apricots) The pits of these fruits contain small doses of cyanide, which can be fatal to smaller dogs. Also, if the pit is swallowed whole, it may become lodged in the intestinal tract, where the blockage will have to be surgically removed.

10. Raw Fish – Raw fish, especially salmon, can contain parasites, usually fluke larvae. The dog consumes the fish, and the larvae hatch in your dog’s digestive tract, attaching themselves to his intestinal walls. Symptoms can take up to a week to exhibit and usually mimic other canine diseases, such as distemper or parvovirus. The hazard here is misdiagnosis by the veterinarian, leading to an improper or ineffective treatment. If you choose to feed your dog fish, be sure to cook it thoroughly to kill any bad critters that could be hiding inside.

This is of vital information for your dog care. If you want your dog to have the proper diet, take a small amount of what your making before you add the onions and the extra spices and make him up his own little plate and add it with his dog food.

Remember a good dog is a happy and healthy dog.

Male Sexual Health – For Stronger Eerections and Healthy Heart Eat Pistachios!

In our previous article, “Erections Without the Bill Pill” we lauded and value of the pistachio nut in a man’s daily diet, and an elixir of pistachios and honey.

However, the benefit of eating pistachios does not stop at a man’s genito-reproductive system.

The same action which keeps the circulatory system and vessels of the penis working in top form, now are known to protect against cardio-vascular disease. Read on for the latest information!

Study Done at Pennsylvania State University

In a recent study conducted at the Pennsylvania State University, it was discovered that eating pistachio nuts daily (combined also with a wholesome and low fat diet, resulted in a greatly reduced (bad, or LDL cholesterol) cholesterol level. This means with a lower bad cholesterol level, the arteries remain open and the heart operating properly.

Quoting the lead researcher, Dr. Penny Kris-Etherton, “Our study has shown that pistachios, eaten with a healthy heart diet, may decrease a person’s cardiovascular disease risk profile.”

She went on to say that, “Pistachios are rich in an antioxidant called lutein, usually found in green leafy vegetables and brightly colored fruit.

Present at higher levels in the pistachio than other nuts, lutein helps prevent cholesterol from clogging up arteries”

Even more interesting was the fact the more pistachios the study volunteers ate, the better their test results.

Pistachios and Europe, the Middle-East and Asia

Known as common wisdom to all males from the Middle-East and Asia, eating pistachios increases the male potential, is known for increasing the amount and quality of a man’s sperm, and erective quality.

The ancient Greeks and Romans knew also of this phenomenon, and included the pistachio in both their daily food and sweets.

It was known in conventional wisdom to protect one’s health

The study done now at Pennsylvania State University adds some important scientific proof to this food’s healthful qualities.

The Elixir of Life

To make this life-saving and sexually enhancing elixis, you will need to start with unsalted dry roasted pistachios, about one cup full (and de-shelled) added to an equal amount of natural organic honey.

Buy only the highest quality organic honey. Mix the pistachios and honey together, then put the mixture into a glass jar, filled to the brim and capped tightly.

Now expose the jar to the sun for one week. Naturally the best time to make this mixture is during the summer months. The elixir is ready after one week.

Each morning eat two tablespoons of the elixir with some organic yogurt. Be ready to see your erections react in a very positive and dramatic way.

More Pistachios in Your Diet

We recommend besides the elixir, to eat a handful of dry roasted unsalted pistachios daily as a snack. In this way, you not only achieve an increase in your masculine potential, but also are in the process of protecting your heart.

Other dietary suggestions include the addition of pistachio nuts to salads, sprinkled on low-fat cottage cheese, and eaten together with grapes when they are in season.

From time to time, and if available in your location, there are many Turkish and Middle-Eastern pasty based on the inclusion of pistachio nuts. Even with the sugar, the positive effect on cholesterol is achieved.

Seafood and Spice: What to Eat When You Travel in the Bahamas

So you want to take a vacation in the tropical paradise of The Bahamas. You've found your flights, picked your accommodation and planned your activities. But what will you eat while you're there? Although many hotels and restaurants do offer typical contemporary Western food, no travel experience is complete without tasting the local cuisine. What can you expect to be served up in The Bahamas?

The Bahamas is an archipelago consisting of over 700 islands. Due to the abundance of water, traditional Bahamian cuisine relies heavily on foods which can be gathered from the ocean. Seafood is a staple in The Bahamas. The national dish is conch (pronounced as 'konk'), a large, tropical variety of sea snail. The mollusc's flesh is firm and very pale in color. There are plenty of ways to prepare and serve conch, including steaming, stewing or deep fried. Fresh, uncooked conch, scored open and sprinkled with spices and lime juice, is also a delectable treat.

Bahamian cuisine includes shellfish such as crabs and rock lobster. Rock lobsters are also known as spiny lobsters or crayfish and are usually served broiled, minced or in a salad. Crab species such as the Florida stone crab are eaten in many cultures, though crab dishes in The Bahamas are commonly served baked.

The other common seafood found in The Bahamas is, of course, fish. There is a huge range of ways to prepare fish, but a favorite traditional Bahamian dish is boiled fish served with grits. Large fish like grouper and bonefish can also be fried, sautéed, baked or grilled.

Despite the plentiful seafood, chicken, pork and goat are also popular meat dishes. Some tourist destinations offer chicken as an alternative to seafood to cater for guests with seafood allergies. Roasted iguana meat was once a popular meal; however, due to the species' endangered status, iguanas are safely off the menu.

Soups are a mainstay of Caribbean cuisine, and The Bahamas are no exception. Many cultures have a fondness for soup, spawning endless combinations of ingredients. The most popular soups in The Bahamas include conch soup, split pea and ham soup, fish chowder, pepper pot stew and pea soup with dumplings and salt beef. For a uniquely Caribbean soup, the bold flavors of souse, a soup made from meat, water, onions, celery, lime juice and peppers, are a classic.

Tropical fruits are a key element of Bahamian cuisine, whether eaten on their own or as a delicious ingredient in a range of dishes. Pineapples, mangoes, guavas, passion fruit, sapodillas and papayas are all grown in The Bahamas. Papaya is one of the most versatile fruits, used in dessert, chutneys and tropical drinks. Papayas contain papain, an enzyme which breaks down tough meat fibers and is thus used as meat tenderiser. It is also a key ingredient in 'Goombay' marmalade, a Bahamian condiment made from papaya, pineapple and green ginger.

Dessert in The Bahamas is a very fruity affair, with nearly all traditional desserts containing tropical fruit. Fresh fruit is delightfully sweet on its own, but can also be baked into tarts, crumbles or any other baked goods. Duff is a traditional Bahamian dessert created by folding fruit, particularly guava, into dough and then boiling it.

As you'd expect of any tropical island, The Bahamas also offer an impressive range of beverages. Switcha is one of the most famous drinks and is made from native limes or lemon with added sugar and water. Coconut water is often served as light refreshment and can be blended with sweet milk and gin to make sky juice. Bahamian cuisine offers a range of other cocktails, including the Bahama Mama rum punch, the Goombay Smash, the Yellow Bird and the Planter's Punch. Beer is also a popular beverage, served chilled to wash away the heat.

Each local eatery will have their own spin on Bahamian cuisine. The dishes are seasonal and change throughout the year as well. That's part of the enjoyment – every meal is a new adventure in The Bahamas!

Are You Allowed To Eat Steak On The Medifast Diet?

I often hear from folks who are wondering what types of meat they can eat on the medifast diet. One popular inquiry concerns steaks. People want to know whether you can eat it, how large the portion sizes would be, and how often you get to have this food. I heard from someone who said “will I ever get to eat steak on medifast? It’s my favorite food and I can not imagine life without eating it regularly.”

The answer to this questions is that you can eat steak. But you’ll need to eat a certain kind. And at a certain time. I’ll explain this more below.

Eating Steak For Your Lean And Green Meal: In addition to five of the diet’s prepackaged meals, you’re allowed one larger, main meal each day that you make or provide yourself. That meal should consist of lean protein and low glycemic vegetables. How many ounces of that protein you get depends on how lean that protein is. For example, if you’re eating a meat which is over 95 percent lean, you can have six ounces of it. If you’re meat or protein is over 85 percent lean, you can have five ounces of it. Needless to say, you will have to choose lean cuts in order to make this work. Obviously, the more marbled and fatty the meat is, the higher the fat content you can expect.

Lean cuts of steak are eye round, sirloin, and shoulder. T bone is also considered relatively lean. Steaks like prime rib, rib eye, and beef tenderloin contain more fat. If you are going to splurge and eat a fattier cut of meat, then you’ll have to eat less of it. I will admit that I sometimes slip to less lean cuts of meat. But, when I do, I will put this in stir fries, soups, or stews so that I can use less. In other words, the meat is not the main attraction but you have enough so that you can taste and enjoy it.

If you’re going to have a traditional meal of a larger cut of steak with your salad or vegetables on the side, you can choose a meat which is labeled extra lean. You can easily see this by looking at the nutritional information on the side of the package. Also, I find that you can often just cut any visible fat off of even lean cuts to save even more fat that way. Since I’ve become used to eating leaner foods, I actually find excess fat or grease a bit too much so I actually prefer consuming leaner cuts of meat now. So to answer the question posed, yes you can have steak on your lean and green meal, but to enjoy more of it, you’ll want to choose lean cuts.

Who’s Tough Enough to Eat a Sea Spider?

Rather than “Who’s Tough Enough to Eat a Sea Spider?” you need to know what a sea spider is.

They have been around for millions of years, but live in an environment not often in contact with humans. Volcanic ash near Herefordshire, UK, reveals spider fossils from 425 million years ago. They’ve been here a long time. More recently, scientific expeditions to the Antarctic area have discovered some amazing current examples.

Just off the Ross Sea Shelf in Southern Antarctica live gigantic specimens of many forms of sea creatures. In addition to giant worms and crustaceans these expeditions brought back sea spiders larger than a dinner plate. Many had the normal eight legs, but some have more, even up to twelve legs. Very large size sea life is nothing unusual in the Antarctic area. Scientists speculate this is because of cold temperatures, high oxygen levels, adequate food, and a general lack of predators in the area.

Sea spiders exist in total darkness about four miles deep. They crawl around feeding on soft bodied creatures like sponges and sea slugs using their proboscis to suck the life out of their prey. In fact, they are VAMPIRES! So, such ogres exist now in the deepest Antarctic Ocean just as they did in Romania in the days of Count Dracula.

About the time the giant sea spiders appeared so did an ancient toad named Beelzebufo, the Devil Toad. BeBo surfaced among crocodile and dinosaur fossils dating to the late Cretaceous period, roughly 70 million years ago, on the island of Madagascar. He is a monstrous creature that weighed about ten pounds with an armored skin. He probably needed this to deal with dinosaurs and crocodiles every day. Scientists think BeBo may even have eaten a few baby dinosaurs; he had to be very tough customer.

BeBo is not related to any African frogs or toads. Rather, his closest relatives are in South America where they are kept as pets and known as “pacman” frogs because of their very large mouths. Now, why does this matter? Consider this: Madagascar is a very long way across the Atlantic Ocean from South America. How is BeBo in Madagascar and all his relatives are far away in South America? This leads to speculation among scientists that some kind of land link between Africa and South America may have remained after the continents separated eons ago. Perhaps it was through Antarctica, a place very much warmer in the past than it is now.

All these related discoveries have led to a speculative debate: What eats a sea spider? Could it be BeBo the armored Devil Toad? While the spider takes up about as much space as BeBo, there are overwhelming differences in favor of BeBo. He weighed about 10 pounds, had a very large mouth, his skin was armored, and he had millions of years experience fighting dinosaurs. This is no contest. The sea spider weighs almost nothing and his proboscis would immediately crumple upon encountering BeBo’s armor plate.

So, why do we even want to know about any of this?

First, the sea spider and all his giant friends may reveal important information about temperature changes and their effect on food supplies for all the Antarctic animals. Such information may also indicate what new predators will come on the scene. And the Devil Toad could be a link to what really happened when Africa and South America drifted apart. Who knows? Somebody may find the spider can really eat the Devil Toad!

"Eat That Frog!" – Top 5 Takeaways

Do you procrastinate?

Well, I just finished reading Brian Tracy’s book, “Eat That Frog!: 21 Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done in Less Time,” and I have to say, it’s really, really good…

Unless you’re the most uber-productive person to ever walk the planet you should at least give it a peek. It’s only 128 pages long (I read it over the course of two days in between working) and it’s very low on fluff.

The point behind the title goes back to an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that it’s almost certainly the worst thing you’ll do all day.

So your “frog” is really your most challenging undertaking for the day, the one that you are most likely to procrastinate, but also the one that is most likely to have a positive impact on your life.

While the book focuses on 21 separate ways to stop procrastinating, 5 of them really spoke to me personally, so here’s the rundown on my top 5 takeaways:

1. Plan Every Day in Advance

Put pen to paper. Before you begin going about your daily business, take 15-20 minutes to plan out your tasks. Spending 15-20 minutes in planning could end up saving you hours of time actually doing the things you must do for the day. Try it for yourself, and you’ll see that it actually does work.

2. Apply the 80/20 Rule to EVERYTHING

Basically, 20% of your activities will account for 80% of your results in any area. By focusing on the exclusive few top 20% activities and resisting the urge to “clear up the minor things first,” you can up your productivity drastically. Spend some time considering what your productive activities are so that you can remind yourself to focus on them more than just 20% of the time.

3. Use the ABCDE Method Continually

This is almost certainly the largest takeaway for me, and it’s also likely the easiest to apply (maybe that’s why I like it).

Categorize your tasks by assigning them a letter according to their significance: (A) Must Be Done (aka your “frog”), (B) Should Be Done, (C) Would Be Nice, (D) Delegate to someone else, or (E) Eliminate altogether (without any consequences).

Once you’ve categorized your responsibilities, prioritize them using numbers. For instance, you could have 3 “A” tasks: A-1, A-2, and A-3.

Work through the list sticking to the order you assigned each task. This will make sure that you get your “frogs” out of the way first thing, which will have the utmost positive effect on your life.

4. Identify your Key Constraints

It’s usually effortless to make out the one biggest factor that is holding you back from accomplishing a task. By identifying this restraining factor, you can focus every part of your energy on eliminating it. Once that is done you can repeat the process with the next largest limiting factor. By repeating this process over and over you make the task much easier to complete. Determine your limiting factors and focus on eliminating them.

5. Slice and Dice the Task

By cutting a substantial task into lesser “slices” you can make the task less overwhelming. Psychologically the task is easier if you complete it in a series of bite-sized chunks. Also, once you finish a “slice” you’re more likely to feel like taking on another slice. This will help you get those big, intimidating projects done more rapidly than you believed feasible.

Why Seniors Need To Eat Right And Healthy As They Age

True, eating a well-balanced diet is important at any age, but when you enter into the golden era of your life, you need to give more attention and importance to what you eat. Yes, you have heard this advice before; older adults need to pay special emphasis on their diet. But, do you know why this is so important?

What Happens As You Age?

As you grow older, your appetite, nutritional requirements, and food habits change drastically. Things you didn’t worry about earlier now become a major cause of concern. This is because of the following factors:

• Medical Conditions Develop: Health problems are common when you age. High blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes are the common problems that affect aging adults. As a result, you become sensitive to certain foods and hence, need to make changes in your diet.

• Poor Immune System: As you age, your immune system weakens. The chances of developing food poisoning or food-related diseases increase. By taking care to eat healthy, immune-boosting food, you can keep common ailments at bay.

• Need for Fewer Calories: To maintain healthy weight, you require fewer calories. Less energy, reduced physical activity, muscle/joint issues and loss of muscle mass cause your metabolism to slow down. This minimizes your calorie needs.

• Other Factors: You may begin taking medications that affect your appetite; oral health problems can prevent you from eating; or losing a close family member or spouse can take a toll on your regular eating habits.

Maintaining A Healthy Diet

Here are a few ways you can keep your diet in check, regardless of the above factors:

• Consume adequate amounts of fiber, such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables. It helps maintain a healthy digestive system.

• You can ask your doctor for mineral or vitamin supplements such as Vitamin D, calcium and magnesium, if you find consuming nutrient-rich foods a hassle.

• Mingle and stay social. Chatting with friends and family can making eating a fun activity.

• Eat nutrient-rich foods as it helps your body get carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, minerals and essential fats.

• Opt for healthier frozen, canned and processed foods such as instant oatmeal, bagged salad and frozen unsweetened fruit.

• Drink adequate amounts of water as you will not have to worry about dehydration. Set a goal to drink at least eight glasses of water a day.

The food choices you make play a major role in keeping you healthy and active as you age. Irrespective of age, taking the time to consume a well-balanced diet will pave the way for a healthier you.

Who Wants To Eat Chocolate For Health?

You may be surprised to hear that eating chocolate is a great way to ensure an effective weight loss diet plan. Research conducted by YouGov has concluded that those who eliminate chocolate completely from their diet tend to put weight on rather than lose weight. Why? Usually as a result of compensating for missing out on this tasty treat by eating more of other types of foods.

The survey which was carried out discovered that 86% people who actually continued to eat chocolate were successful at losing weight.

I regularly write articles about eating a sensible realistic lifestyle diet or what I prefer to call a ‘eating plan’. This is because in order to lose weight and keep it off the eating plan needs to be a lifestyle approach to help stop the ‘yoyo’ diet effect.

Nutrition Scientist, Janet Aylott, commissioned the YouGov survey. The extensive research surrounding the survey found that “diet centred around food elimination are much more likely to fail”.

MEN – there is even more good news!

Eating chocolate may actually help you to live longer. This information comes from a Harvard University team which conducted a study over 65 years. It included 8000 men who ate chocolate up to three times per month. It found that these men lived almost a year longer as opposed to those who did not.

This research team concluded Cocoa contains antioxidants called polyphenols. This antioxidant is also found in red wine. Polyphenol helps prevent the oxidation of harmful cholesterol.

So go ahead and enjoy eating chocolate. It not only may help prolong your life but will help you achieve your weight loses goals for life!

Dust off the chocolate cookbooks, involve the kids and start making some tasty chocolate treats at home. This is a great way to teach children about sensible eating habits. There is a tonne of learning opportunities in cooking with children also. Gathering all the ingredients necessary to make it, measuring instruments such as jugs and measuring spoons etc.

Take the opportunity to talk to children. I often get great conversation out of kids when they are pre-occupied with something they love. Cooking is a great way to spend time with them and strengthen the parent bonds.

Portion control

This delightful treat is still calorie dense but is super healthy so keep serving sizes small and use as a mid-afternoon tasty treat to see you through to dinner. This great news is that the fudge is lower in calories and sugar than your typical fudge bought in a store.

What Do Mosquitoes Eat? (Other Than Blood)

Did you know that blood is not the only thing mosquitoes eat? In fact all mosquitoes need to include something else in their diet in order to survive. What is this mystery food?

Sugar from Plants

Yes, mosquitoes actively feed on nectar and other plant-based sugars that naturally occur on foliage and other blossoming flowers. Mosquitoes need sugar from plants in order to survive; these sugars provide energy and sustain mosquitoes through their entire lives!

This is especially true when it comes to male mosquitoes as their proboscis (the small needle like part of their body they use to eat food with) is not designed to eat blood. Thus male mosquitoes do not bite or suck the blood of humans because they have no need for blood. Females on the other hand do eat blood and if you find one looking to make a snack out of you then you can be sure it is a female!

So some questions you may wonder are: if mosquitoes do not need blood to survive, than why are we the victim of their thirst for blood? Is there anything I can do to prevent these pesky bugs from attacking me while I step foot into any outdoor space? And last, how can I take advantage of the information in this article?

So why do female mosquitoes need blood?

The reason female mosquitoes bite and suck the blood of humans is because they need protein in order to lay eggs. Plant nectar alone cannot provide enough protein for the female mosquito to lay her eggs. So in order for mosquitoes to continue sustaining their population, the female mosquitoes must take in blood from living things! The female will need to take in at least one full blood meal to lay each batch of eggs, and this can occur up to 5 times during their 14 day life span.

How to avoid getting bit by mosquitoes?

One of the best ways to reduce the population of mosquitoes in your area is by being aware of areas in your yard that can be used to breed. It only takes an inch of stagnant water for female mosquitoes to lay a full batch of eggs and give life to more blood suckers. Another important fact to take into consideration is that mosquitoes do not travel far from their birth place. So if you allow them to breed in your yard, you will end up having a bad mosquito problem!

If there are no potential breeding areas in your yard, then you can choose between many different types of mosquito repellents, such as spray on DEET or natural products such as spray on eucalyptus oil. If you are not fond of putting repellent on your skin you can use products that give off the smell instead such as citronella candles, tiki torches and much more.

How Does This Article Benefit Me?

Knowing how mosquitoes breed and what they eat is key for controlling the over population of these blood sucking creatures. The simple things you can do to prevent breeding such as keeping a lid on your trash can or removing old pots that hold water in your yard will go a long way in reducing the population of mosquitoes! If you let just one mosquito lay eggs in your yard it will be potential for 200 new mosquitoes in just a week!

Also knowing their diet can help fight this annoying creature; because we know that all mosquitoes live off of sugar from plants, there are new products that have been released that mimic the smell of the food found on plants but instead infuse the mosquito with a completely natural and non-toxic (to us) ingredient which is none other than garlic oil! Garlic oil will kill mosquitoes soon after they ingest it which will eventually help reduce the population of mosquitoes in your yard by more than 90%!

So in conclusion just a little bit of knowledge can go a long way in reducing the mosquito population in your area! So stay informed and use the methods in this article to keep those annoying insects off your skin this season!
