The False Belief – Literary Analysis on ‘May Day Eve’

“May Day Eve”, written by Nick Joaquin, is all about two individual lovers who believed that by looking in the mirror, then chanting an incantation, you will see the person who you’ll be married to if it goes well. If not, you will see the ‘devil’ or the ‘witch’. This short story was written in 1947, where legends and superstitions such as devils and witches were probably common. This greatly contributes to the theme of the story: the hasty decision to believe in superstitions. Agueda, Badoy, their daughter, and Voltaire all relied on superstitions.

Agueda, one of the main characters, was naïve. She thought that the superstition was true since she heard and learned it from a veteran, Old Anatasia. She was curious and wanted to find out if it was true or not. She disobeyed he elders saying, “I do not care! I am not afraid! I will go!” and escaped after without saying any other words. (paragraph 17) She eventually met Badoy and married him in the end because according to the incantation, “If it all goes right, just above your shoulder will appear the face of the man you will marry.” (paragraph 16)

Voltaire, Badoy’s grandson, also believed in superstitions at his young age. He was caught by his grandfather looking at the mirror near the end of the story. “The boys at school said I would see her (his future wife) if I looked in a mirror tonight… ” He argued. (Paragraph 28) This leads to the conclusion that when people are young, people believe easily and can make hasty decisions.

Because of these acts, it lead to bitter endings. Agueda regretted not being married to Badoy saying that she saw the “devil” to her daughter as she retold her what had happened that night. (paragraph 21) Badoy also regretted marrying Agueda. In the ending of the story, Badoy “had forgotten that she was dead, that she had perished.” (paragraph 47) He felt regretful and sad knowing that it was too late to change the past; Agueda was already dead and he couldn’t do anything about it. “Such a grief tore up his throat” and “the bowed old man sobbing so bitterly in the window.” (paragraph 48)

On the other hand, unlike Agueda and Badoy, Voltaire didn’t have a bitter ending. He was caught in the middle of doing this superstition and it was a good thing. Badoy found him and had scolded him saying his own experiences on seeing a ‘witch’ himself.

That short story “May Day Eve” was all about hasty decisions, most specifically on trusting in superstitions. Superstitions can lead to many kinds of paths. It can be harmful or not. They can lead to big mistakes such as marriage like what Badoy and Agueda had. Nick Joaquin was able to teach his readers a lesson on superstitions. Superstitions are not always necessarily true. I admire him because through a simple story he was able to say a lot. He also made a two-fold ending. For Voltaire, it was not difficult since he stopped believing in the superstition. For Badoy, it wasn’t easy for he grieved and regretted for his marriage with Agueda.

The Story Of Skull With Horns Tattoos

If you are considering getting a skull with horns tattoo, you should be aware of what sort of statement you will be making with it.

It can cause a lot of different responses from people. Some people, especially teenage boys, choose to get a skull with horns tattoo to present a sort of “bad boy” attitude. They think that girls love dangerous men more than the boy next door. They want to get a skull with horns tattoo because they feel that it will make them appear to be more macho. They think it will add an aura of mystery and danger, which girls will find attractive.

Some people feel that a skull and horns tattoo represents death, danger, destruction and fear. It is a design, which people get, to show power, strength and daringness. However, many of those people do not really understand its origins.

Originally, the skull with horns tattoo was actually not meant to indicate any of those things. In ancient times, a skull with horns actually was a symbol of any sort of major change. It was not meant to represent death or fear directly. However, it may have taken on the representation of death due to the fact that the cycle of life and death is a major change. In fact, it is the biggest change any human being can experience.

This tattoo is known for being somewhat demonic in nature. It is important, if you are going to get such a tattoo design, that you understand the true symbolism behind it. According to the ancient Greek mythological lore, “daimon” means “to express a divine power”. It wasn’t until the introduction of such religions as Islam, Judaism and Christianity that skulls with horns became known as demonic symbols. Such symbols became associated with the devil. In fact, it was said that the devil could cause madness or sickness within a person’s body by taking it over.

You should consider all of these things, if you want to get one. It isn’t just about looking cool or attractive. Skull with horns tattoo designs have a lot of history, meaning and symbolism behind them. As with any tattoo, you should do your research before you jump into things with both feet. Be absolutely sure that the skull with horns tattoo is the right tattoo for you and, if it is, enjoy it for years to come!

Eden Rocks Shore Dives in Grand Cayman

When we took a cruise of the Western Caribbean, it included Grand Cayman as a port. We were able to scuba dive one of the shore dives there. There are actually two shore dives off the downtown area of Georgetown which were recommended to us. For cruise ship passengers, it is fairly easy to locate. As soon as the tender boats arrive at the pier, we walked to the right and less than 5 minutes, we arrived at Eden Rocks Dive Centre. Don’t be fooled by a new competitor they have just before it. Eden Rocks Dive Centre is closer to the dive sites than their new competitor.

Cayman Islands are relatively expensive for diving with an average of $85 US for a two tank boat dive trip. However, with limited time as with cruise ship passengers, we were able to do decent diving for much less. If you are bringing all your gear except for tanks and weights, you can rent them for about $10 US. Even renting complete gear will run much less than a boat trip. Eden Rocks has a patio with lockers in the back and an area with a ladder where the entry to the water is. The two dive sites are called Eden Rocks and Devil’s Grotto. They are reached with a short swim out towards some various buoys that mark the sites.

We ended up doing Devil’s Grotto which had some nice coral formations. The maximum depth was about 46 feet with a water temperature of about 80 degrees. The visibility was even better than what we experienced in Key Largo just a few days prior. There was a very nice large swim through tunnel and several smaller ones throughout the site. Inside the large tunnel, we saw a large resident tarpon. The fish life including parrotfish, groupers and tangs was healthy at this shore dive and it is interesting to note that it even exists so close to the cruise ships. Other divers said they saw some turtles too.

We would like to do the other shore dive site, Eden Rocks which is to the right of Devil’s Grotto during the next time we are in Grand Cayman. These sites are ideal for beginner level divers. My partner was a newly certified diver and had no problems with this shore dive.

Doctrine of Devils

FALSE SALVATION DOCTRINE

Heresy teaching of Apostle Theo Wolmarans:2017

Theo Wolmarans is teaching double false doctrine in his book called” the Blood Covenant”. In The first false doctrine he claims that Melchizedek is Christ Pre-incarnate. This false doctrine comes from the Gnostic teaching and also from a Christian sect. The second false doctrine is that tithing is a “covenant act “to pay for one’s salvation. I give a few scriptures to disprove this false doctrine of securing or paying for your salvation with the Tithe. This false doctrine is all based on the incorrect interpretation of Melchizedek’s identity. The true Identity of Melchizedek is debatable. However to explain it in simple terms he is a type of Christ. To explain this false teaching of Christ pre-incarnate let’s look at Genesis 14.

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. (Genesis 14:18 KJV)… the original Hebrew uses the world El Elyon for Most high God.Which has its origins in the Phoenician language, who worshiped El, a pagan Canaanite deity.

And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. (Genesis 14:20 KJV)… the original Hebrew says the best from the top, so it cannot mean the same as the Biblical tithe of Malachi.

Theo says that Abraham gave Melchizadek (Christ) a tenth, and interprets this as a covenant act. The covenant act refers to giving from both sides according to Theo. Christ giving his blood and body (bread and Wine) and Abraham giving a tenth of the spoils of war. So in fact what he is saying is one must pay a tenth to the Christ (Church) in return for salvation (the blood and Body). This is a heretical teaching. Ephesians corrects this false belief.

2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

There is no covenant act of giving to earn or pay for ones salvation. There is a concept of a covenant act in the Bible. The covenant act in the Old Testament was circumcision and not giving of a tithe to a king Priest. God did make a covenant with Abraham, but it was one sided covenant(unilateral covenant). God (Yahweh) even provided a ram for the sacrifice. The Bible further says we can’t use gold or money to pay for our salvation. Theo’s covenant understanding is based on pagan covenants and not Jewish covenants. In the New Testament, Jesus made a unilateral covenant. The word covenant (Latin) was translated from the Greek word Testament. A Testament comes into effect when somebody dies.

1Pe 1:18 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;”

Paul says in Galatians 3:1 who has bewitched you to believe another gospel. Another gospel is a gospel by law and works of the flesh. People feel guilty if they don’t pay tithe. If they sin they can at least pay tithes to cover their guilt and “pay for their sins.” This is what is happening at the subconscious level. We can never pay for our own sins with good works or money. This is human nature to try make right with God and obey commandments. Theo and CFC argue that if you love God you will obey His commandments. This tithing scripture is referring to the Pharisees who were still under the law and still serving in the Temple system with sacrifices. Biblical hermeneutics are ignored in Theo’s interpretation. Some basic Bible rules for correct interpretation are audience relevance and historical context. So Jesus was speaking to those under the law and temple system and not to the modern day church or even the Church of Acts. Jesus had not died yet, so the laws and tithing was still in effect. Even the book of Hebrews must be read in context. Otherwise we will make up new doctrines. It is absurd to think that Jesus receives tithes in Heaven. What would He do with all that money? No, man is the one that needs money. Truly the devil and his deception is active in the church with such false doctrine. Trying to make people pay for their salvation is really heretical.Just like in the days of Martin Luther in the Dark Ages. Martin Luther spoke against this evil of his day, which was also taught by the Catholic Church.

Theo also says life equals money. This is his own subjective interpretation of what life is. This is incorrect as the Bible says life is the blood or blood is life. Again Jesus gave His life and we give our lives ie the living part of us which is made up of Spirit, Soul and body. Your life can also mean the time spent on earth. Do you live for God or for yourself.Time is exchanged for money to live in this world. But we can’t exchange money for eternal life. The Bible says we are in this world and not of this world. Money is of this world, and not of Heaven. Don’t let anybody deceive you that you need to pay for your Eternal salvation with the Tithe. Salvation is a free gift received by faith only.

In the American Media a drug addict was arrested for trying to sell golden tickets to Heaven (2016). It seems this is what Pastor Theo is trying to do.

The Doberman Pinscher – Mans Most Misunderstood Best Friend

Attack dogs. Devil dogs. Mean dogs. If someone mentions the words “Doberman Pinscher” in casual conversation, these terms sometimes come to mind. Dobermans are Hollywood’s bad boys: they chase the good guy off of the bad guy’s property. They guard seedy back-alley residences. They appear to be the hit-men of the dog world. It is a commonly recognized fact that Dobermans are somehow meaner or more dangerous than other dogs. Why?

A handler recently had her dog at a park where there was a crowd of event onlookers. A young boy came over and asked to pet the dog. Consent was granted, and the boy proceeded to pet the dog, pull the dog’s ears, ask questions about the dog, and generally make friends. “Do you know what kind of dog he is?” the handler asked. “No,” the boy replied. “A Doberman,” the handler said. The boy, without a word, turned and walked away. He must have been fooled by the long ears. Yes, some Dobermans have long, floppy ears. But why was that name the deal-breaker for an otherwise enjoyable encounter?

The Doberman is a very old, historic breed of dog. Around 1890, Louis Dobermann, a tax-collector, sought to breed a dog suitable for both protection and companionship. His job at the time could prove dangerous, as he carried money with him on his rounds. By crossing several breeds including the Rottweiler, greyhound, and Manchester terrier, Dobermann achieved his goal: a medium-sized, powerfully built, obedient guard dog. The dog gained popularity as a protector and companion. After Dobermann’s death in 1894, the Germans named the breed after Louis Dobermann (the second “n” was dropped later on); Otto Goeller continued to refine the dog’s breeding to create the dog we see today. The German word for terrier, “pinscher,” was also later dropped, as “terrier” no longer described the dog in general.

The Doberman’s primary working-dog role is guard and protector of property. Back in 1945, the breed served in World War II, helping U.S. Marines in their patrols on Guam. By the end of the war, 25 Marine Doberman dogs had given their lives to protect the U.S. soldiers by detecting land mines, sniffing out enemy forces in heavy cover, carrying information communiques to different areas, and providing protection in foxholes so that the soldiers could rest. A few of these dogs were nicknamed “Devil Dogs” by the Marines for their fierceness in battle. Of course, the pointy, cropped ears helped complete the picture. The dogs’ ears and tails were cropped to minimize the ability of the enemy to grab the dogs if the opportunity arose. The cropped ears are still popular today, but are no longer necessary for any practical reason other than appearance.

Recent breeding programs and education about the Doberman have improved the breed dramatically. No longer bred for aggression, Dobermans are family-oriented, loving dogs. Their high intelligence and boundless energy require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation such as obedience and agility, but in their minds, they are indeed Man’s Best Friend. Perhaps in the years to come the Devil Dog persona can fade into history, yet never be forgotten. antlerhollowmillville.com.

The Pagan Author, Rod Nave – Book Reviews

What begins as a search and rescue effort becomes a search and destroy struggle for survival in this remarkably creative dark adventure novel, The Pagan written by Rod Nave.

When a team of young volunteers charter a plane from Miami to Haiti to help the victims of the recent earthquake disaster of 2010, they unknowingly embark upon an adventure of satanic proportions. Being transported as powerless pawns into a past pact made with the Devil, the rescue team inadvertently steps into a “quicksand type sequence” of extraordinary events.

The dozen rescue workers land in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and assemble their gear for a bus ride into the jungle on a mission to offer aid and medical help to villagers away from the city. They soon find themselves engulfed in a quagmire of voodoo glazed zombie-like natives overpowering their bus. In an attempt to ward off the hazardous onslaught of the natives attacking the bus, they throw food and supplies out of the windows of the bus to distract the crowd allowing them to escape. The driver, fearful of being overridden by the mob, navigates the bus down a dirt road and up a gated driveway to an abandoned mansion. The group seeks refuge to gather their thoughts, take inventory of the loss of items and create their next plan of action, “Plan B.” Exploring their new surroundings, things become a bit odd, eerie and disturbing. What seemed to be a sequence of random events resulting in the group being stranded in this dilapidated mansion unravels itself as being actually a planned force of the Devil’s own doing. The mansion, unknown at the time of entering, is in fact the home of the group leader’s grandfather – a place where he lived as a child for a short period of time. Certain artifacts and events trigger his recollection, and all too soon he realizes his presence is the consequence of a deal made with the Devil over 200 years ago by prior generations of his family. The Devil has manifested himself as a pagan doll to claim the debt owed to him of these mortal souls.

Rod Nave writes wonderfully, and creates a novel that reads like a screenplay for a truly scary movie. He cleverly contemporized his novel with a very recent event – the January 12th 2010 earthquake in Haiti, a mere five months prior to the time of this review. His use of dialog and character development is awesome. He creates a credible group of characters within believable circumstances, even with the sobering reality of having a cell phone available. He takes what is at first a predictable development of situations and does masterful plot twists and surprises, spiraling the reader into a dizzying world of blood saturated voodoo spells, Devil worshiping, Christian rituals and the penetrating sinister blue eyes of The Pagan. Careful, “Don’t drop the clay statue,” you wouldn’t want to see what happens if you crack its shell and unleash what’s inside. “Lookout! Oh no… Oh my God!”

Beware of the 5 Deadly D’s

Ephesians 4:27 Do Not give the devil a foothold.

The storms of life roll in, threatening to overwhelm you!

Disappointment after disappointment leads to discouragement and depression!

The Foothold

Does this sound familiar? Have you ever found yourself in a pity party, wondering why God was being mean to you? You may have even asked yourself is God was even real? And if God is real and if He is suppose to love me, then I don’t want to have anything to do with this God. The “love” of God hurts too much! I have been in this pity party many times, and it’s been know to grow into a full fledged temper tantrum. Why do we end up in this pit of fear, disillusionment, and frustration? We gave the devil a foothold, and slid down the deadly D’s slop!

First of all, what is a foothold? According to the dictionary, a foothold is a secure position from which further progress may be made. The devil wants to settle in within our thought process to kill, steal, and destroy our future. He is the father of lies, and when we side with him – believe things contrary to the truth in God’s word – we are carrying out the devil’s plan. I don’t know about you, but this just knocked the wind out of me! If we don’t remove satan from the secure position within our minds, we will carry out his plan. What is his plan in a Christians life? To Kill, Steal, and Destroy our future! We are rendering ourselves powerless, because we don’t trust in The Word of God!

5 Deadly D’s

Disappointments are part of life; part of this sinful world. Just because we are a child of God does not mean we will live a perfect, painless life! We will have trouble, but because we have Jesus Christ as our savior, we should respond differently to those troubles!

What we need to do is be aware of the devils schemes. God uses disappointments as His Appointments (this is for another article) where Satan uses disappointments to push us down a slippers slope of the Deadly D’s.

Disappointment

Discouraged

Depression

Dejection

Despair

For those of you that find yourself discouraged, depressed, or even in the grips of despair, there is hope and it is found in God’s word. Do you know what God’s will for your life ultimately is? To KNOW Him, Trust Him, and obey Him! Disappointments in life give you a chance to practice all of this, and grow in your relationship with Him.

God Loves You!

God Is For You!

He Wants The Best For You!

He Has A Plan To Prosper You, Not To Harm You!

God’s Promises, God’s Truth

Where do we find all these promises and more? In the greatest success books ever written – The Bible! We need to be in His word DAILY to keep the truth in our minds and hearts!

Do not give the devil a foothold, means DO NOT believe his lies! If you start to believe his lies over God’s truth, then he can penetrate your heart and mind with even more lies and pretty soon you can find yourself spiraling down into the 5 Deadly D’s!

How to Avoid Committing the Sin of Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit

Many are inquiring what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is. Some are even afraid or suspecting that they might have committed this kind of blasphemy, or are in danger of doing so. They are especially afraid since they are told that this sin cannot be forgiven here on earth or in the next life.

What the Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit Is

Actually the idea of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is very simple. It is attributing to the Devil the work of the Holy Spirit. When there is something done that is clearly good, like healing, and you say that this healing or good thing comes from the Devil, then you are blaspheming the Holy Spirit.

How I Could Have Blasphemed the Holy Spirit

Let me give an example from my own life. For 27 years I had suffered from a chronic skin disease called eczema in my hands and feet. I had consulted many physicians about this. I was given many medicines, both ointments and tablets. After taking the medicines the condition of my skin would improve, but after a while the disease would come back. A higher dose of medicine was then necessary to contain the skin irritations and swelling. This was the cycle for those 27 years: skin inflammation with redness, itching, lesions, then taking of medicines, a temporary cure, back to the inflammation again.

The worse part of this disease was that there were so many foods I could not eat if I did not want the eczema to recur. I could not eat pork, shrimps, chicken, and other tasty foods.

In 1986 I went to an old woman in our village who was reputed to cure some diseases that could not be cured by the doctors of conventional medicine. What she did was she just brushed my body with a shrub that she pulled out from her backyard. Then she told me not to take a bath for three days. She uttered some words as she brushed the shrub on my body. But I could not understand the words she uttered.

That was all. I got cured of eczema forever. From that time I could eat any of the food which was forbidden for me to eat before lest my skin would get inflamed again.

This woman was not particularly religious. She was poor. Her house was very simple. Her manners were very ordinary.

If I say that she performed her cures by the power of the Devil I would be committing the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

In general, then, to attribute any good thing to the Devil as the source of that good thing is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

You need not mention or think explicitly of the Holy Spirit to commit this kind of blasphemy. It is enough that you attribute to the Devil any good thing that you see, perceive or that happens before you.

For example, you say, “By the power of the Devil I won in the lottery.” This is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit although you did not mention the Holy Spirit and although winning the lottery is only a relative good because lottery itself is morally objectionable.

The Pharisees did not mention the Holy Spirit when they blasphemed him, as recorded in Matthew 12. They just said that Jesus did a good thing, the curing of the blind and dumb man, by the power of the Devil.

How To Avoid Blaspheming the Holy Spirit

To avoid committing the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit never attribute any good thing to the Devil, even if the one doing it is a shaman or a witch doctor.

Concerning why this sin is unforgivable, it is because by this sin you deny the mercy of God. When you deny that God is merciful how can God show his mercy to you? You deny God’s mercy by virtually calling the Devil good, since you take him as the source of that particular good thing. You deny that God is the source of goodness, of mercy.

Now that you know what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is, I hope that you will never commit this in your life. Because it is an unforgivable sin.

A Character Analysis of Hawthorne’s Young Goodman Brown

What created Goodman Brown? A man so tormented by what even he considered to be a dream that it changed his life in a profound negative way forever. Goodman Brown was man plagued by his own conscious; he was someone who believed himself to have committed grave sin by meeting with the devil and participating in a witches meeting in his dreams. This spoke of an era where people were overcome with religious guilt and superstition. As a result of Brown’s dream he suspected everyone in the town of being cohorts with the devil, in addition his superstition and questioning of his own self overcame his ability to trust or believe in anyone else. He died a bitter, unhappy, miserable man.

In order to fully understand the character of Young Goodman Brown we must first understand the era he comes from. Although Hawthorne does not state directly whether or not the plot of this story takes place in Salem in the seventeenth century, his references to other characters clearly imply it does. His references to Martha Carrier, Martha Cory, and Sarah Cloyse, all women hanged as witches in 1692; as well as his reference to King William who ruled England from 1650-1702 tell of this horrid time where people killed, tortured, burned, executed and suspected that everyone from their sister to there neighbor might be in contact with the devil. As a result of this environment of suspicion and paranoia Goodman might have felt as though his dream was in reality a lack of faith on his part. He may have felt so guilty for experiencing this dream that he thought he, as well as the people in his life were guilty of coercing with the devil.

Goodman Brown might have been Hawthorne’s expression of his own struggles with his faith in humanity and himself. Hawthorne was a guilt ridden person and I believe that he had many instances when his faith was tested. Brown is Hawthorne to a lesser extent. Goodman Brown starts out as a good, happy, decent man; he seems very content. All of this changes when he decides against the advice of his wife faith (the symbolism is obvious here) that he should go out on a journey into the woods to meet with the devil. I believe path in the woods to be his continued decent into metaphorical as well as literal darkness. As he continues down the woods he reaches the pinnacle of his journey when he comes upon the witches meeting. Once Brown reaches this point he loses his faith despite his last ditch effort to save his wife. He never knows if he was able to save her. This doubt is what destroyed him.

Brown’s motivation for meeting with the devil is never made absolutely clear and can only be speculated by the devil’s references to others that have come into his fold. He speaks of the King, Goodman’s father and grandfather, the deacon, minister and mayor. The devil makes it appear that everyone with any power, success or for that matter anyone that means anything to Goodman is in fact allied with Satan. Although Goodman resists the devils temptations at first; as more and more people are brought to his attention as being followers of the dark one, the idea becomes more acceptable. I believe Brown’s motivation to meet with the devil was power; he wanted an advantage over others to achieve his goals. This may have contributed to his last ditch effort to save faith when he shouted “Look up to Heaven, and resist the Wicked One”. When he arrived at the witches meeting he discovered that everyone already had the advantage of being on the wicked side and had already sold there souls for money, power, or prestige. He was able to see that nothing would put him ahead of anyone else by following through with his original task. He had nothing to win and everything to lose by making an alliance with the devil. Unfortunately for Young Goodman Brown it was too late for his soul to be saved. He reached the point of no return and not only didn’t he reap any benefit from his ordeal but lost every bit of happiness he previously possessed.

Goodman Brown was a man destroyed by his own obsession. He lived a miserable life as a result of the guilt he felt for embarking on a dark journey in his dreams; which resulted in his suspicion of everyone and a lack of trust for individuals in his community, himself and humanity. The only way Goodman Brown would have been able to save his faith would have been to never embark on the dark path.

Are You Worrying Instead Of Trusting God?

Open your Bible to Psalm 62:8 it says… Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Go ahead and highlight that scripture.

God is going to turn your situation around! How do I know? Because the Bible says to cast your cares on the Lord. God wants you to know that your problem is covered when your faith and trust are in Him. That’s a Word straight from the throne of God for you today.

Your thinking shouldn’t be about worrying about your problems. Instead you should be thinking about what God is about to do with your problems. Shout your victory! Faith is in operation when you’re thanking Him for something you don’t feel or see yet. Every problem the devil sends your way, God has plans to turn it around to your benefit. No need to worry! God has not forgotten you!

The devil wants you to worry about things all day! But if you listen to the devil you will lose your joy, your shout and your victory in Jesus. God has you in His sight, and He’s zooming in on your situation. You see, far too many people see themselves as victims of their problems, because they have listened to the devil too long. But God will pull you out of your mess of problems and troubles and set you on the solid Rock of Jesus!

Are you worrying instead of trusting God? The scripture says trust in Him at all times. Lift up the name of Jesus! This is your opportunity for God to move, to bring order, to do a miraculous, creative work in your life. This can only be accomplished when your trust is in the Lord.

I know there are times when it seems like your problems are pressuring you to quit and give up. You may not know how you are going to get through this, but God will keep you on course when you trust in Him at all times. You conquer your problems and battles with the Word of the Bible.

Rest assured God is setting you up for the scheduled release from your problems. In life, we all face storms of every kind, but no matter what comes your way, you can receive your victory testimony through the power of God’s Word. You see, when you learn to trust God with unlimited confidence, the Lord will show up for you.

Do not let your present circumstances dictate for you to worry! If it looks dark in your life, let Jesus brighten your day with His presence. Your greatest battles are won when Jesus takes over! Praise Jesus out of your problems! You see, there’s a Word from the Holy Spirit to the believer to receive when you open your Bible and call out to Jesus.

What issues do you have that you need a spiritual touch from God? You need to be grounded in truth, and filled with delight in the Lord. Don’t allow your failures, setbacks or problems to discourage you. God has an answer for every problem you may face today or will face in the future. Now, raise your hands and say, “God makes me strong in His Word over my problems”!
